Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a multifunctional outdoor seat cushion (1) intended for outdoor use and which can optionally be used as a seat pad, bag, reclining surface or swing (see Fig. 1 to Fig. 4).
[0002] Outdoor activities, especially in forest kindergartens and nature-based educational settings, often involve the use of simple seating mats that offer limited comfort and serve no other functions. These common mats are usually flat and have limited portability or combinability.
[0003] The object of the invention is to provide a versatile seat cushion (1) that is easily transportable, combines several functions in one product, and is robust and durable due to its construction. Furthermore, the seat cushion (1) can be combined to form larger surfaces or variable shapes (see Fig. 7).
[0004] To solve this problem, a seat cushion (1) is provided which, in the closed state, has an essentially triangular basic shape and, in the unfolded state, a diamond-shaped design (see Fig. 1 and Fig. 2).
[0005] The seat cushion (1) has two zippers (9) arranged along its long edges. These zippers (9) serve both to open and unfold the seat cushion (1) and to close it into a bag when closed.
[0006] Eyelets (3) are arranged at the outer corners of the seat cushion (1), which serve as stable attachment points (see Fig. 1 and Fig. 4) The seat cushion (1) can be connected to ropes (4) via these eyelets (3) and used as a simple hanging swing. The connection can be made directly through the eyelets (3) or via familiar connecting elements such as carabiners. The arrangement of the eyelets (3) ensures an even load distribution. An internal reinforcement (6) prevents the material from tearing (see Fig. 5).
[0007] The seat cushion (1) is preferably made of weather-resistant, sustainable materials such as plant-based or synthetic leather alternatives, felt, virgin wool, or comparable outdoor textiles. The material structure comprises an outer material (7) and a lining (8) that acts as a padding layer and provides heat insulation and shock absorption (see Fig. 6).
[0008] Several seat cushions (1) can be connected to each other using fastening elements (2), such as snap fasteners or Velcro fasteners. This allows larger surfaces to be created (see Fig. 7).
[0009] When closed, the seat cushion (1) is secured to form a bag using two zippers (9) located on the sides. The zippers (9) allow it to be folded into a triangular bag shape with an opening at the top point (see Fig. 8) In this version, the seat cushion (1) can be used to transport small items. In the illustration of Fig. 1. The zippers (9) are not visible due to the perspective.
[0010] The invention will be explained in more detail with reference to the drawings.
