Description

[0001] The invention relates to a fitting for the interior of a vehicle.

[0002] The equipment part comprises a base and an actuating element that is movable between a first position and at least one second position relative to the base. The actuating element can be locked with a lock that can be adjusted between a locked position and a released position. A crash lock with a lever can prevent an unintentional adjustment from the locked position to the released position in the event of strong positive or negative acceleration.

[0003] CN 112 406 665 A discloses a cup holder in which a carriage with support structures is movable relative to a base between a first storage position and a second use position. During the movement between the first position and the second position, the support structure unfolds in the z-direction. In the folded position, the support structure has a smaller extension in the z-direction and is therefore more compact.

[0004] CN 110 962 757 A describes a vehicle interior fitting. The fitting comprises a slide that is adjustable between a first position and a second position relative to a base. A push-push mechanism allows the slide to be locked in a storage position and moved to a use position by actuation.

[0005] CN 207 328 226 U relates to an adjustable equipment component for a vehicle. The equipment component has an adjustment element that can be moved between a locked storage position and a use position using a push-push mechanism. A four-bar linkage allows the z-position of a support structure for a container to be varied.

[0006] The object of the invention was to prevent, with little effort, the control element from being adjustable from the first position to the second position in a secondary position of the base.

[0007] The problem was solved by a fitting having the features of claim 1.

[0008] The equipment part is intended for a vehicle. A vehicle, within the meaning of the invention, is a land, air, or water vehicle. The equipment part comprises a base and an actuator, which is movable relative to the base between a first position and at least one second position. The second position is, for example, a use position in which the actuator can be used. The first position is, for example, a storage position in which the actuator can be arranged in a space-saving manner and does not restrict the freedom of movement of the seat occupants.

[0009] With a locking mechanism, the control element can be adjusted between a locking position and a release position. At least in the first position, the control element can be locked in a locking position. The locking mechanism can have only one locking position or alternatively several locking positions. The equipment part includes a crash lock with a lever that prevents unintentional adjustment from the locking position to the release position. For example, the lock is locked in a first locking position during normal operation and in a second locking position during crash locking.

[0010] The actuator is mounted for movement between a primary and a secondary plane. For example, the actuator is mounted on a support that can be adjusted to the secondary plane. The pivoting lever is mounted in such a way that gravity exerts a moment on the lever in the secondary position, moving the locking mechanism to the locked position.

[0011] One advantage of the invention is that the crash lock is simultaneously used to lock the actuating element in the secondary position. The crash lock then automatically sets the locking position in the secondary position of the base. If, for example, the equipment part is mounted on a cover of a console that can be pivoted between a horizontal and a vertical position, the actuating element should not be extendable when the cover is adjusted to an open position in which the cover extends in a vertical plane. The features according to the invention ensure that the locking position of the lock is always adjusted automatically. In this way, additional manufacturing effort is avoided and the size of the equipment part is not increased.

[0012] In the second plane of motion, for example, the center of mass of the lever lies outside a line of gravity passing through the lever's pivot axis. In the second plane of motion, the lever is positioned such that its pivoting movement occurs within this second plane of motion. Gravity causes a moment in the lever because the center of mass of the lever is not located on a line of gravity passing through the pivot axis, generating a torque about the rotation axis. If the center of mass of the lever were located on the line of gravity passing through the pivot axis, no torque would be generated.

[0013] The secondary plane of movement is, for example, a plane inclined to the horizontal plane. The primary plane of movement can, for example, be an approximately horizontal plane. The secondary plane of movement is, for example, a vertical plane. If the rotational movement of the lever takes place in a horizontal plane, no torque is generated in the lever due to gravity. If the lever moves, for example, around a center of rotation in a plane inclined to the horizontal plane, a torque is generated if the center of mass of the lever is not on a gravitational axis through the center of rotation, i.e. in other words, the center of mass is not in a dead center position in which the weight of the lever is completely absorbed by the pivot joint.

[0014] The actuating element is loaded into the release position, for example, by a loading device. This means that the actuating element moves into the second position if it is not held in the first position in at least one locking position of the locking mechanism. The loading device, e.g., at least one spring, moves the actuating element into the second position as soon as the locking mechanism is unlocked. The "loading device" feature is to be understood in the broadest sense and includes any type of energy storage device that can be used to move the actuating element from the first position to the second position, such as a roller spring.

[0015] For example, the actuator can be adjusted between the first and second positions using a translational movement, a rotational movement, or a mixed movement with translational and rotational components. It can be adjusted, for example, along a linear or curved path. Alternatively, it can be adjusted along a rotational path or along a path with a mix of translational and rotational components.

[0016] The control element is designed, for example, as a drawer. It can then be adjusted between a nested and an extended position. In the nested position, the base and the control element overlap more than in the extended position. In the extended position, the control element is at least partially retracted from the base and can be used, for example. The drawer includes a storage space intended for the user's utensils. Devices can also be permanently installed in the drawer.

[0017] In the first position, the control element is arranged, for example, in a telescopically retracted position with respect to the base and in the second position in an extended position.

[0018] The base forms a housing for the control element, for example, in the first position. The housing is designed, for example, such that the control element is stowed in the first position. The housing is designed, for example, such that injury to the seat occupants from the control element is impossible when the control element is in the first position.

[0019] According to a non-exhaustive list, the fitting is, for example, a vessel holder, a storage compartment, an ashtray, or an electrical component. The vessel holder comprises, for example, a frame, wherein the adjusting element, which is movable relative to the frame, forms a drawer in which holding structures for the vessel are formed. The drawer can be moved between the first position and the second position. Similarly, the adjusting element, for example, in a storage compartment, ashtray, or electrical component, is also designed as a drawer and adapted to the corresponding function.

[0020] The locking mechanism comprises, for example, a push-push mechanism. Such a mechanism is designed, for example, in such a way that the actuating part, which is in the first position, is unlocked with a single push in a first direction, so that the actuating part can be moved into the second position. If the actuating part is moved from the second position to the first position, the push-push mechanism locks automatically. The push-push mechanism comprises a control cam which interacts with a locking element. For example, the control cam is assigned to the actuating part so that it can move relative to it, and the pin is fixedly connected to the base. Alternatively, the pin is assigned to the actuating part so that it can move, and the control cam is fixedly connected to the base. In the sense of the invention, any control structure is referred to as a control cam.

[0021] The push-push mechanism is integrated into the lever, for example. For example, the push-push mechanism forms a lever arm of the lever. In this case, the push-push mechanism can be designed to be compact. In this case, the push-push mechanism and the crash lock can be easily combined using the lever.

[0022] The equipment part is held, for example, on a pivoting part that can be moved between a primary position and a secondary position. In the primary position, the lever can be moved in a primary plane of motion, and in the secondary position, the lever can be moved in a secondary plane of motion. The support can be formed by any conceivable equipment device in the vehicle interior on which the equipment part can be mounted.

[0023] The equipment part is formed, for example, on an armrest that can be pivoted about an axis. In the use position, the armrest is arranged in a horizontal primary position, for example. The lever can be moved in this primary plane of movement. If the armrest changes position in such a way that the armrest is adjusted from the primary position to a secondary position, e.g. because it simultaneously forms the lid of a storage compartment, movement of the adjusting part from the first position to the second position is blocked by the crash lock because the crash lock has moved into a locked position due to the movement of the equipment part into the secondary plane of movement.

[0028] Fig. 1 shows the equipment part 10 - in this example in the form of a vessel holder. The equipment part 10 comprises a base 11 and an actuating part 12. In this example, the actuating part 12 comprises holding structures 13a and 13b, each for holding a vessel, such as a beverage cup. The actuating part 12 is rotatable in the directions x1 and x2 between a Fig. 1 not shown first position, in which the control part 12 is arranged nested to the base 11, and in Fig. 1, in which the overlap between the actuating part 12 and the base 11 is less than in the first position, and the actuating part 12 is in a use position in which, in this case, vessels can be inserted into the holding structures 13a and 13b. A loading device 14, here in the form of a roller spring, loads the actuating part 12 in the direction x1 into the second position.

[0029] The control element 12 is movably mounted here by a sliding guide 15, which includes guide rails 27a and 27b on the base 11 and sliders 28a and 28b on the control element 12. In this case, the control element 12 is movable like a drawer between the first position and the second position. In the first position, the control element 12 is located in a recess in the base 11. An upper cover part of the base 11 is not shown in the figures for the sake of clarity.

[0030] The equipment part 10 comprises a locking device 20, which in the present case is designed as a push-push lock. This means that when pressure is applied to the actuating part 12 in the direction x2 in the first position, the actuating part 12 moves from a locked position, in which movement from the first position in the direction x1 is blocked, into a released position, in which the actuating part can be moved by the loading device 14 in the direction x1 into the second position. If the actuating part 12 is moved from the second position against the force of the loading device 14 in the direction x2 into the first position, the locking device 15 automatically moves to the locked position, so that movement of the actuating part 12 in the direction x1 is blocked.

[0031] The locking mechanism 20 comprises a control structure 16 and a control pin 19, which is held on the base 11 and a control pin 19, which is held on the actuating part 12, with which the locking of the actuating part 12 is controlled. Alternatively, the control structure 16 could be assigned to the actuating part 12 and the control pin 19 to the base.

[0032] The equipment part further includes a crash lock 25. In this exemplary embodiment, a crash lock refers to a locking mechanism that moves the locking mechanism to a locked position at a defined threshold acceleration or deceleration, so that the actuating element 12 cannot be moved from the locked position. The crash lock 25 does not necessarily have to be paired with a push-push mechanism, but it can be.

[0033] In this example, the locking mechanism 20 comprises a lever 17 pivotable about a pivot axis a1. A weight 18 is formed on a first lever arm of the lever 16. An extension of the lever 17 is guided on a guide rib 41. A second lever arm carries the control structure 16. The lever 17 is pivotable in the pivot directions u1 and u2. The lever 17 is subject to a frictional force and can only be moved by overcoming a resistance. It can be deflected in the direction u2 by the control pin 19 or upon a minimum acceleration. According to an alternative, the lever 17 could also be held in a specific position by at least one spring instead of the frictional force.

[0034] In Fig. 2 shows a side view of the equipment part 10. The actuating part 12 protrudes in the second position relative to the base 11 in the direction x1. In the plan view according to Fig. 3 and the sectional view according to Fig. 4 it can be seen that the control part 12 in the second position has a smaller overlap with the base 11 than in the first position, which in Fig. 9 is shown.

[0035] In Fig. 3 it can be seen that the lever 17 is pivotally mounted on the base 11 about the axis a1, being pivotable in a first plane E1 which is Fig. 4 is recognizable. In Fig. 4 also shows the control pin 19, which is held on the actuating element 12. The control pin 19 and the control structure are part of the locking mechanism 20 and the crash locking mechanism 25.

[0036] In Fig. Figure 5a shows a sectional view of the base 11. The loading device 14 in the form of a roller spring can be seen, which loads the actuating part 12 in the direction x1 into the second position. Fig. 5b, the control pin 19 is in the second position of the control part 12 out of engagement with the control structure 16. Based on Fig. 4 it can also be seen that the control pin 19 is located outside the control structure 16 in the second position of the actuating part 12.

[0037] If the control element 12 is moved in the direction x2, the control pin 19 engages with the control structure 16 and moves along the path marked by the arrow 21 into a Fig. 7 shown position. According to Fig. 7, the control pin 19 is arranged laterally of a locking structure 23, in which a locking seat 29 is formed. Upon further movement of the actuating part 12 in the direction x2, the control pin 19 strikes a gusset 33 of the control structure 16 and the actuating part 12 can not be moved further in the direction x2. If the actuating part 12 is then relieved of load, the control pin 19 is moved together with the actuating part 12 by the loading device 14 into the locking seat 29 of the locking structure 23 (see the Fig. 8 and Fig. 9). The locking mechanism 20 is in the first locking position. Movement in direction x1 is prevented by the locking structure 23.

[0038] A further actuation of the control part 12 in the direction x2 moves the control pin 19 out of the locking seat 29 in the direction x2 until it comes into contact with a wall 34 of the control structure 16 (see the Fig. 12 and Fig. 13). The locking mechanism 20 is in the release position. After the actuating element 12 is relieved of load, the actuating element 12 is moved by the loading device 14 in the direction x2 (see the Fig. 12 and Fig. 13), whereby the control pin 19 moves on the path marked with the arrow 22 via the position marked 19' according to Fig. 13 is moved in direction x1 out of engagement with the control structure 16.

[0039] The crash lock 25 is described below when the equipment part 10 is in a primary position. In the event of a strong acceleration in direction x1, such as in an accident, where a force F acts on the equipment part 10 in direction x1, the lever 17 is deflected in direction u2 due to the inertia. If the control part 12 was previously locked in the first locking position, the control pin 19 moves on the path marked with an arrow 24 relative to the lever 17 from the position marked 19" initially into contact with the wall 35 of the control structure 16 (see the Fig. 14 and Fig. 15). Subsequently, the actuating part 12 and the control pin 19 are moved by the loading device 14 in the direction x1, whereupon the control pin 19 engages with a locking seat 31 of a locking structure 26 (see the Fig. 16 and Fig. 17. This position of the control pin 19 corresponds to a second locking position.

[0040] The locking structure 23 and the blocking structure 26 are designed such that the actuating element 12 must move in the x2 direction to leave the locking position and move the locking mechanism 20 into the release position. In this example, the locking structure 23 and the blocking structure 26 are open in a U-shape in the x2 direction.

[0041] The locking device 20 can be moved from the second locking position into the release position by moving the actuating part 12 in the direction x2 until the control pin 19 strikes a wall surface 36 of a guide structure 37 (see the Fig. 18 and Fig. 19). About the position according to Fig. 19 and the position of the Fig. 21, the control pin 19 can move together with the actuating part 12 in direction x1 into the second position.

[0042] It may be desirable for the actuator 12 to be movable between the first position and the second position only in a primary position of the equipment part 10 (see the Fig. 22-25). In a secondary position of the equipment part 10, however, the movement of the control element 12 into the second position may be undesirable. In other words, in this position, the control element 12 should not be able to move from the first position to the second position.

[0043] The invention solves this problem by arranging the lever 17 of the existing locking mechanism 20 in the primary position of the equipment part 10 in a primary movement plane E1 (see the Fig. 22 and Fig. 23). In the secondary position of the equipment part 10 (see Fig. 24), the lever 17 is arranged to be movable in a secondary plane of movement E2. In the secondary plane of movement E2, the force of gravity of a center of mass 40 of the lever 17 causes a torque about the pivot axis a1 in the lever 17.

[0044] Due to the torque, the lever 17 pivots in direction u2 and the control pin 19 moves according to Fig. 15 against wall 35. From this position of the actuating element 12 and the control pin 19, the actuating element 12 is moved by the loading device 14 in direction x1 until the control pin 19 engages with the locking seat 31. The locking mechanism 20 is in the second locking position. Movement of the actuating element 12 in direction x1 is not possible.

[0045] For example, the equipment part 10 is held on a cover of an equipment device 30 designed as an armrest in the form of a console, wherein the cover forms a support 32, in this example a pivoting part 39 in the sense of the invention. The pivoting part 39 is pivotable about a pivot axis a3 between a closed position and an open position. The closed position according to the Fig. 22 and Fig. 23 is a primary position and the open position (see Fig. 24) is a secondary position within the meaning of the invention.

[0046] In the primary position of the pivoting part 39 according to the Fig. 22 and Fig. 23, the lever 17 is arranged such that it can move in the primary movement plane E1, which is, for example, an approximately horizontal plane, with the actuating element 12 and the lever 17 moving in the horizontal plane. In this case, the pivot axis a1 of the lever 17 is perpendicular to the movement plane E1.

[0047] In the secondary position of the pivoting part 39 according to Fig. 24, the lever 17 and, for example, the control element 12 move in the secondary movement plane E2. The secondary movement plane E2 is, for example, an approximately vertical plane. Due to a pivoting movement of approximately 90° from the primary position to the secondary position, the lever 17 was displaced from the primary movement plane E1 to the secondary movement plane E2.

[0048] In the secondary movement plane E2, due to a center of mass 40 of the lever 17, which lies outside a line of gravity a2 through the pivot axis a1 (see Fig. 25), a torque is generated in the lever 17 in the direction u2, thereby activating the crash lock 25. The control pin 19 moves into engagement with the locking seat 31 of the locking structure 26 into the second locking position of the lock 20. In this position, for example, the movement of the actuating part 12, e.g., a vessel holder, into the second position is not possible.

[0049] Alternatively, if the pivoting part 39 is moved from the position according to the Fig. 22 and Fig. 23 were to be pivoted by 90° about the pivot axis a4, this would also result in a moment in the lever 17 in the direction u2, so that the crash lock 25 would also be activated.
