Abstract
The invention relates to a component for assembling a green roof, such as a flat green roof, a substantially flat green roof, or a pitched roof, or a green wall, which component comprises a flexible layer having at least one pocket containing a substrate for vegetation, wherein the pocket further contains an insert that at least in part shapes the exterior appearance of the pocket.
