Description
[0001] The present invention relates to a maneuvering device equipping a railway vehicle car.
[0002] A device for moving and maneuvering a railway car is already known in the prior art, notably according to US patent 2,989,007. This device comprises a roller in contact with a wheel of the car and a motor to drive the roller in rotation. This movement device thus allows the car to be moved by friction between the roller, driven by the motor of the device, and the wheel of the vehicle.
[0003] US 3 785 297 A and US 398 207 A are also known to have maneuvering devices.
[0004] When the drive device is not required for the movement of the car, for example if the car is connected to a locomotive pulling it, the drive device must be completely dismantled, which entails time-consuming operations.
[0005] The invention aims in particular to provide a railway vehicle car equipped with a maneuvering device by which the car can be moved, without requiring a tedious dismantling of the device when the car is coupled to a locomotive pulling it.
[0006] For this purpose, the invention relates to a maneuvering device according to claim 1.
[0007] According to particular embodiments, the operating device is according to any one of claims 2 to 6.
[0008] The invention also relates to a railway vehicle car according to claim 7 or 8.
[0009] Various features and advantages of the invention will be highlighted in the following description, given solely by way of non-limiting example, and made with reference to the attached drawings, on which; [ Fig 1 ] there figure 1 is a partial side view of a railway vehicle car, the car comprising a maneuvering device according to an exemplary embodiment of the invention, of which a roller is in the engaged position, [ Fig 2 ] there figure 2 is a view from the side of the car of the figure 1 , for which the roller is in a spread position, [ Fig 3 ] there figure 3 is a close-up view of the maneuvering device of the figures 1 And 2 including a jack-type extension system, and [ Fig 4 ] there figure 4 is a section along a plane AA orthogonal to the plane of view of the figures 1 , 2 And 3 , of a motor and roller of the operating device of the figures 1 , 2 And 3 .
[0010] We have partially represented, on the figures 1 And 2 , a railway vehicle 5 comprising at least one car 10.
[0011] Car 10 is, for example, a wagon of railway vehicle 5 or a locomotive of railway vehicle 5.
[0012] The car 10 comprises at least one bogie 15, a chassis 20, a maneuvering device 25, and preferably includes a gondola 30.
[0013] The bogie 15 comprises a bogie body 34 and at least one wheel 35. More particularly, the bogie 15 advantageously comprises two axles not shown, each having two wheels 35. Each wheel 35 is intended to run on a rail 37 for the movement of the car 10 along this rail 37. The bogie 15 is preferably unpowered.
[0014] The chassis 20 is supported by the bogie 15. The chassis 20 is suitable for supporting a body not shown, within which various equipment is advantageously installed.
[0015] The operating device 25 is connected to the bogie 15 and in particular to the bogie body 34, advantageously in the same plane as one of the wheels 35 of the bogie 15. In accordance with the embodiment of the figures 1 And 2 , the operating device 25 is fixed under the body 34 of the bogie 15 between the two wheels 35 included in the same plane.
[0016] In an alternative not shown, the maneuvering device 25 is connected to the chassis 20, upstream or downstream of the wheels 35. The notions upstream and downstream are understood here in the sense of the movement of the car 10 on the rails 37, an upstream part of the car 10 being in front during the movement of the car 10.
[0017] In this description, unless otherwise stated, when reference is made to two connected elements, this means that they are connected directly to each other, without any intermediary element other than means of connection such as screws, welding, or glue; and when reference is made to two coupled or linked elements, this means that these two elements are either connected to each other, or coupled or linked to each other via one or more other elements
[0018] According to the described embodiment, the operating device 25 includes a motor 40, a roller 45, a power cable 50, a hooking system 55, an extension system 60 and a remote control system 65.
[0019] The nacelle 30 is attached to the chassis 20. The nacelle 30 is designed to accommodate an operator 67 for controlling the maneuvering device 25, and more specifically the motor 40. The nacelle 30 is advantageously located at the rear of the chassis 20. In other words, the nacelle 30 is advantageously located at an upstream or downstream end of the car 10.
[0020] As is notably depicted on the figure 4 , the motor 40 includes a casing 69 integral with the elongation device 60 described below.
[0021] Depending on the method of implementation of the figure 4 The motor 40 is a speed-controllable electric geared motor. The motor 40 therefore comprises an electric machine 70 and a gearbox 75.
[0022] In addition, the 40 engine includes an 80 electric braking system.
[0023] The electrical machine 70 is, for example, an asynchronous machine, a synchronous machine, or a direct current machine. The electrical machine 70 is, for example, an asynchronous machine with a power output of 2.20 kW operating at a voltage of 380 V.
[0024] The electric machine 70 is powered via the power cable 50 and controlled via the remote control system 65.
[0025] The power cable 50 is connected on one side to an electrical power distributor not shown and on the other side to the electrical machine 70 to supply it with the electrical energy necessary for its operation in motor mode.
[0026] The electric machine 70 produces a rotary motion of a shaft 82 from the electrical energy from the power cable 50.
[0027] Depending on the method of implementation of the figure 4 , shaft 82 is connected to a reducer 75.
[0028] The reducer 75, whose input is coupled to the shaft 82, is designed to produce at its output a rotary motion on a shaft 84 whose rotational speed is lower than the rotational speed of the shaft 82. To achieve this, the reducer 75 comprises, for example, a gear system composed of a plurality of toothed wheels 83, meshing with one another, the shaft 84 being fixed to the last toothed wheel 83 of the reducer 75. The toothed wheels 83 are dimensioned such that the overall reduction ratio of the reducer 75 is less than 1. Thus, at the output of the reducer 75, the shaft 84 has a rotational speed lower than that of the shaft 82.
[0029] The shaft 84 is mounted to move relative to the housing 69 and is guided in rotation by a bearing 85, for example a ball or needle bearing. The shaft 84 is fixed to the roller 45, thus enabling it to be driven in its rotation.
[0030] The braking system 80 includes an electromagnetic system capable of immobilizing the axis 84 when the operator 67 decides to stop the movement by means of equipment which will be described below.
[0031] The roller 45 is circular in shape and has on its periphery a coating 86 of elastic material, advantageously of rubber.
[0032] The roller 45 is mobile by translation between an engaged position in which the roller 45 is in contact with the wheel 35, and a disengaged position in which the roller 45 is disengaged from the wheel 35. In the engaged position, the roller 45 is in contact with the wheel 35 through its peripheral coating 86.
[0033] The rubber coating 86 of the roller 45 increases the coefficient of friction between the roller 45 and the wheel 35, and therefore prevents slippage during the rotation of the roller 45 in contact with the wheel 35.
[0034] The elongation system 60 allowing the passage between these two positions will be described below.
[0035] The coupling system 55 allows the operating device 25 to be connected to the body 34 of the bogie 15.
[0036] Depending on the method of implementation of figures 1 And 2 The coupling system 55 extends from a lower surface of the body 34 towards the rails 37. The coupling system 55 is, for example, screwed under the body 34 of the bogie 15. The coupling system 55 is then advantageously removable, making the operating device 25 demountable if necessary.
[0037] A connection between the coupling system 55 and the motor 40 is made by the extension system 60. The extension system 60 comprises a first part 90 connected to the roller 45 and a second part 95 connected to the body 34 of the bogie 15.
[0038] More specifically, the first part 90 is integral with the casing 69 and the second part 95 is integral with the attachment system 55.
[0039] Depending on the method of implementation of the figure 3 The elongation system 60 takes the form of a cylinder. Thus, the first part 90, for example, takes the form of a piston, while the second part 95 takes the form of a chamber in which the piston can slide. The first 90 and second 95 parts are movable relative to each other.
[0040] Alternatively, the first part 90 takes the form of a chamber and the second part 95 takes the form of a piston.
[0041] The elongation system 60 is advantageously bistable. In other words, it has two stable positions: an elongated position in which the elongation system 60 is as extended as possible, and a compressed position in which the elongation system 60 is as compressed as possible. In the embodiment of the figure 3 In the extended position of the elongation system 60, the piston 90 is out of the chamber 95. Conversely, in the compressed position, the piston 90 is substantially entirely contained in the chamber 95. The elongation system 60 therefore allows the roller 45 to move from the engaged position to the disengaged position, and vice versa.
[0042] The elongation system 60 is advantageously manual. In other words, the transition of the elongation system 60 from the compressed position to the extended position, and vice versa, results from a manual operation.
[0043] According to another embodiment not shown, the extension system 60 is automatic. Thus, the transition of the extension system 60 from the compressed position to the extended position, and vice versa, is automatic. This transition can then be controlled, for example, from the remote control system 65.
[0044] The remote control system 65 allows the operator 67 to control the rotation speed of the motor 40, and more particularly of the electric machine 70, through a remote control 100 and a connector 105.
[0045] The remote control 100 allows the operator 67, via the connector 105, to control the rotation speed of the electric machine 70 and advantageously the direction of rotation of the electric machine 70. The remote control 100 includes, for example, a plurality of push buttons, rotary and / or linear potentiometers.
[0046] Connector 105 allows communication of information from the remote control 100 to the motor 40. In the embodiment of the figure 3 The connector 105 allows the communication of information from the remote control 100 to the electric machine 70 and the electric braking system 80. The connector 105 is, in the example of the figure 1 , a 105 type wired connector.
[0047] In an alternative configuration (not shown), the 105 connector is wireless. The remote control 100 then has a wireless transmitter (not shown), for example, a Bluetooth transmitter, and the motor 40 has a receiver (not shown), for example, a Bluetooth receiver. The transmitter and receiver enable the communication of information from the remote control 100 to the motor 40.
[0048] During operation, the operator 67 activates the elongation system 60 in order to position the roller 45 in its engaged position, against the wheel 35.
[0049] Operator 67 then gets on the platform 30, equipped with remote control 100.
[0050] The operator 67 then controls the rotation speed and / or direction of rotation of the motor 40, through his electric machine 70, from the remote control 100.
[0051] The rotational control of the electric machine 70 induces a rotation of the shaft 82, causing a rotation of the elements of the gearbox 75, leading to a rotation of the shaft 84 at a lower rotational speed than that of the shaft 82. Since the shaft 84 is fixed to the roller 45, the roller 45 is then also set in rotation. The rotation of the roller 45 then allows the wheel 35 to rotate through friction between the roller 45 and the wheel 35. More precisely, the rotation of the wheel 35 is due to the contact between the coating 86 and the wheel 35. The rotation of the wheel 35 then results in the movement of the car 10.
[0052] When operator 67 wants to stop car 10, he activates the electric braking system 80, for example from the remote control 100.
[0053] Once the maneuver of car 10 is complete and car 10 has stopped, the operator 67 descends from the platform 30 and positions the extension system 60 in its compressed position. Thus, the roller 45 reaches its extended position.
[0054] Alternatively, the elongation system 60 can be controlled from the nacelle 30.
[0055] The maneuvering device 25 according to the invention allows the car 10 to be moved and does not necessarily have to be disassembled when the car 10 is coupled to a locomotive pulling it. Indeed, the extension system 60 makes it possible to avoid disassembling the maneuvering device 25 to move the roller 45 away from the wheel 35.
[0056] The use of a geared motor as a motor 40, reducing the rotation speed of the shaft 84 and therefore of the roller 45, makes it possible to increase the torque on the shaft 84 and thus to transmit sufficient force to the wheel 35 for the movement of the car 10.
[0057] The presence of an electric braking system 80 allows the car 10 to stop during its movement, and therefore to maneuver the car 10 with precision.
[0058] The presence of the remote control system 65 and the nacelle 30 allows the operator 67 to control the movement of the car 10 while maintaining a view of an environment in which the operator 67 and the car 10 are moving.
[0059] The fact that the operating device 25 is removable allows for easy maintenance of its components in case of breakage or failure.
[0060] According to another embodiment not shown, the operating device 25 is connected to the chassis 20.
[0061] According to another embodiment not shown, the elongation system 60 is a toggle joint system. The first 90 and second 95 parts are then rods, extending respectively from the motor 40 and the attachment system 55. The first 90 and second 95 parts are connected by a set of connecting rods, each articulating on the first part 90 or the second part 95 on one side and on another connecting rod on the other. The elongation system 60 remains bistable.
[0062] According to another embodiment not shown, the motor 40 is directly attached to the body 34 of the bogie 15. The attachment system 55 is then combined with the housing 69 of the motor 40. The output shaft 82 of the electric machine 70 then extends in an upstream-downstream direction along the car 10. The second part 95 of the extension system 60 is then fixed to the shaft 82. The connection between the second part 95 and the first part 90 transmits the rotation from the shaft 82. The first part 90 is then no longer fixed to the housing 69, but acts as the input for the gearbox 75. The first 90 and second 95 parts remain connected to the roller 45 and the body 34, respectively. The output shaft 84 of the gearbox 75 remains fixed to the roller 45.The reducer 75 then includes toothed wheels 83 forming a gear intended to reduce the rotational speed and increase the torque at the shaft 84 and / or a device for changing the direction of rotation around which the shaft 84 rotates, into a desired direction of rotation for the rotation of the roller 45. Such a changing device is for example a pair of bevel gears or a toothed wheel 83 / worm gear pair.
