Description

[0001] Stamp with a cutting device and method for using a cutting device

[0002] The invention relates to a stamp with a cutting device and a method for using a cutting device as described in claims 1 and 17.

[0003] A stamp with a box opener is already known from CN 214727594 U, wherein a blade with a sliding mechanism is arranged in the center. The knife and the push rod for actuation are guided and connected to one another, so that when the push rod is pushed towards the outside of the housing, the blade is pushed out of the housing. The actuating element or the push rod is arranged parallel to the broad side of the blade and moves analogously to the sliding direction of the blade. The disadvantage is that a cutting mechanism designed in this way can only be used to a very limited extent in a few stamp types without having to significantly increase the size of the stamp and thus having to accept higher material requirements, higher costs, greater environmental pollution, and optical or haptic disadvantages. However, the central positioning of the blade and pressure rod not only requires a relatively large amount of space, but also makes cutting very uncomfortable. The edges of the top of the punch are particularly obstructive, meaning the knife can only be cut at a relatively steep angle to the object being cut. A further disadvantage is that the force of the return spring acts at an angle on the extended blade, making it possible to jam the blade with this solution.

[0004] Furthermore, WO 2012 / 108515 A1 discloses a stamp with a letter opener, in which one embodiment (Fig. 29) has a removable retractable blade. The mechanism is similar to that in CN 214727594 U. Here, too, the blade is recessed into the stamp in its initial position and can be moved into the actuating position for cutting letters and the like by being pushed out of the housing. The pushing out occurs in a straight-line movement by moving the actuating element and the associated blade. The disadvantage here is that the cutting device or the blade must be manually retracted into the housing by resetting the actuating element, which poses safety risks. Furthermore, such a solution is limited to use in a stamp with a narrow broad side or is very inconvenient to use in a stamp with a larger broad side, as described in CN 214727594 U.With a narrow broad side – as shown in Fig. 29 – this again results in disadvantages in handling during the stamping process, as the handle element has a technical function, and gripping comfort suffers as a result. Furthermore, when standing at a desk with the cap in place, the blade extends directly toward the user when extended. Furthermore, it is not clear in advance which direction the cutting edge of the knife is facing when extended, which again leads to disadvantages in handling and safety.

[0005] Furthermore, rigidly installed blades or blades without an actuating device are known from the aforementioned WO 2012 / 108515 A1 and KR 2010 0108483 A. The blades are installed in a slot, and when a letter is inserted into the slot and pulled through, the slot is slit or opened. The disadvantage is that only very narrow objects can be processed with the blade in this way. The disadvantage here is that this application is therefore severely limited to opening letters, and even opening wider letters is problematic.

[0006] Finally, a stamp with the product name “PLUS Guard Your ID” is also known, which is also available in a version with a fold-out knife (GYID - Guard Your ID 3-in-1 Advanced Wide Security Roller) (see https: / / plus-

[0007] It is designed in such a way that a knife or blade is built into the side. The mechanism is similar to a jackknife. It is held from the side and folded towards the top of the housing, where it locks into the unfolded position. By operating a lever, also located on the top, the blade is released and can be manually folded back into the housing. Disadvantages here include the risk of injury from the rigid blade, which is locked in the activated or extended state. Even though the cutting edge of the blade is comparatively blunt, the risk of injury remains, especially for children. Since the cutting edge of the knife cannot be sharp due to safety regulations, there are restrictions on its use. According to the manufacturer, the blade is used for opening envelopes and packages.Further disadvantages are that a larger recess is provided on the side of the stamp housing for lateral gripping with the fingers, which also greatly reduces the types of stamps for which such a solution can be implemented without enlarging the housing or providing corresponding projections, which would lead to higher material consumption, higher costs, higher environmental impact and losses in product shape or handling.

[0008] The disadvantages of the previously known stamps with cutting devices are, among other things, that the known cutting devices are uncomfortable to use.

[0009] The object of the invention is to provide a stamp with a cutting device and a method for cutting, in which on the one hand the above-mentioned disadvantages are avoided and on the other hand the user-friendliness is increased.

[0010] This object is achieved by the invention. Advantageous embodiments and / or method measures are described in the subclaims.

[0011] The object of the invention is achieved by a stamp with a cutting device, in which the actuating means and the cutting device are arranged at opposite corner regions and are connected to one another via a pivoting mechanism.

[0012] The advantage here is that cutting comfort is significantly increased for the user, especially in the preferred cutting position (Fig. 1 c). The opposing arrangement allows users with small hands to easily operate the cutting device or the actuation button, even on larger stamp models. Furthermore, the stamp feels better in the user's hand. Further advantages lie in the versatile application of the cutting device with a wide variety of stamp types and designs, as this arrangement of the cutting device and actuation unit can be installed relatively compactly in the upper part of the stamp. This leaves sufficient space for the sometimes complex components of the ink application device.

[0013] However, a design in which the pivoting mechanism consists of at least one pivoting lever, to which the cutting device is attached, and the actuating element is also advantageous, as this results in simpler assembly. Due to the at least two-part design of the pivoting mechanism, the pivoting lever can be installed into the punch, and the actuating element or external actuating button can then be applied or inserted. This allows for a one-piece design of the upper part, which simplifies assembly due to fewer components.

[0014] A design in which the cutting device is rigidly attached to the pivoting lever is also advantageous. This reduces the risk of injury to the cutting device user and prevents unintentional shaking during cutting. It is advantageous if the cutting device, when attached, has little or no play in the pivoting lever, as this ensures a precise cutting process.

[0015] Guide the knife. The cutting device is preferably detachably connected to the pivoting lever, but can also be fixed, e.g., molded or glued in.

[0016] Furthermore, a design in which the pivot lever has an opening for accommodating the actuating means can advantageously achieve simple installation of the actuating means by inserting it into the opening. For this purpose, a locking device is provided for securing the actuating means. Thus, the actuating means can be connected from the outside to the pivot lever inside the upper part.

[0017] A design in which the actuating means or the pivot lever has an extension on which a locking element for connecting the actuating means to the pivot lever is arranged is also advantageous, as this allows for simple assembly. In this way, either the pivot lever can be inserted into the stamp housing and the actuating means can be pushed in from the outside with the extension, or an extension arranged on the pivot lever can be pushed from the inside of the stamp housing to the outside or from the outside to the inside, and the actuating element can be attached to it. By arranging the locking element, assembly can be achieved without complex tools.

[0018] A further advantageous embodiment can also be achieved if the pivot lever has a recess that is connected to the opening of the pivot lever to form a locking edge for the locking element of the actuating means, since this easily creates a locking connection and facilitates simple assembly of the pivot mechanism. Preferably, the locking connection is designed to be detachable.

[0019] Also advantageous is a design in which the pivoting mechanism, in particular the pivoting lever, has a bearing axis for mounting in the upper part, which bearing axis is arranged between the actuating means and the cutting device, wherein the bearing axis is preferably arranged in the rear half of the pivoting mechanism, i.e. the half in which the confirmation means is arranged. This advantageously achieves the result that by pressing the actuating means towards the underside of the punch, the cutting device pivots towards the top of the punch. The pivoting movement of the cutting device therefore takes place essentially in the opposite direction to the pivoting movement of the actuating means, which in turn reduces the risk of injury. A further advantage is that by varying the arrangement of the bearing axis, the force required to activate or deactivate the punch can be reduced.Actuation of the actuating means on the one hand and the pivoting movement of the cutting device on the other hand can be changed or precisely adjusted during production.

[0020] Another advantageous embodiment is one in which a bearing means is arranged or can be used to fasten and support the pivoting lever on the upper part. This improves guidance of the pivoting movement and reduces wear on the pivoting mechanism. If one of the bearing means is arranged so as to be detachable, further advantages arise in terms of simple assembly. This makes it possible to install the pivoting lever in a one-piece upper part, since preferably one part of the bearing is formed on the upper part and the second part of the bearing is formed by the bearing means, so that the pivoting lever is simply inserted into the first part in the upper part and then the bearing means, which preferably has locking elements, is inserted into the upper part and locked into place. Another advantageous embodiment is one in which the cutting device or the pivoting lever has a holding orA return means, in particular a return spring, is held in the starting position opposite to the actuating position, as this automatically returns the cutting device to the upper part, thus avoiding the risk of injury to the user. In the starting position, the cutting device is preferably arranged inside the housing of the stamp. The cutting device does not protrude beyond the outside of the stamp. Thus, the cutting device is only active when the user deliberately moves it into the actuating position and automatically pivots back to the starting position when the actuating device is released.

[0021] An advantageous embodiment can also be achieved if the holding or return means for the pivot lever is attached to the upper part or an insert element, since this ensures that the holding or return means is attached to a part or element that is fixed in its position, and the holding or return means is thus always held in relation to it. The holding or return means is preferably designed as a tension element or tension spring, but can also be designed as a pressing element or compression spring.

[0022] A further advantageous embodiment is one in which the pivot lever has a fastening means for attaching the holding or return means, which is preferably arranged on the underside of the pivot lever. This allows for easier assembly, for example, by using a tension spring as the return spring.

[0023] It is also advantageous to design the stamp as a roller stamp, self-inking stamp, flash stamp, or pre-ink stamp, wherein the stamp, in particular its upper part, preferably has a substantially rectangular, square, oval, or round cross-sectional shape. This allows the user to have access to a wide variety of different stamp models and shapes using the cutting device according to the invention. All that is required is sufficient space within the stamp's interior to install the cutting device, which is largely available with these stamp models, particularly when designed with a rectangular, square, oval, or round cross-sectional shape and given the narrow design of the cutting device according to the invention, without having to significantly increase the overall height of the stamp.

[0024] Another advantageous embodiment is to arrange a roller or roll on the insert element for applying ink, particularly in the form of letters, symbols, or images. This design of the ink dispensing device as a roller eliminates any moving parts from pivoting into the interior of the stamp, thus leaving more space for the cutting device. This allows for a more flexible selection of the ratio of the load arm to the force arm of the pivoting mechanism and / or the length and angle of the return spring, thus allowing for better adjustment and control of the pivoting angle of the cutting device and the force required to activate the actuating device.

[0025] It is advantageous to have an additional cutting device arranged in the upper part, which has a slot-shaped recess, preferably for opening letters. This increases the application possibilities and provides professional cutting options for various applications.

[0026] A further advantage is a design in which a closure cap for covering the paint application device can be attached to the upper part, since the paint application device can thus be covered with the closure cap during the cutting process and the user does not come into contact with the paint of the paint application device during cutting.

[0027] It is also advantageous if the frame structure of the upper part's housing is formed as a single piece, as this makes the stamp housing and cutting mechanism more robust and durable. Of course, additional elements or parts can be arranged on the upper part's housing, such as a viewing window with the imprint, etc. Furthermore, parts or surfaces can be designed to be removable, such as removable side surfaces, which allow better access during assembly. Preferably, the frame structure of the housing itself is formed as a single piece, i.e., in particular, it is not formed by, for example, two half-shells that can be plugged together.

[0028] Furthermore, the object of the invention is also achieved by a method for using a cutting device of a stamp, in which, when the actuating means is activated, it is pivoted against the direction of movement of the cutting device, wherein the actuating means is pivoted in the direction of the closure cap or ink application device, wherein, when the actuating means is deactivated, it is reset via a holding or restoring means into the starting position in which the cutting device is arranged inside the upper part.

[0029] The advantage here is that, in particular, the opposing pivoting of the cutting device and the actuating means and the resetting of the cutting device avoid the risk of injury to the user and ensure simple and comfortable use and handling.

[0030] Finally, measures in which individual features of the inventive solution described above are arranged or formed on the stamp are also advantageous. This allows the respective advantages mentioned to be realized accordingly.

[0031] The invention is then described in the form of exemplary embodiments, whereby it is pointed out that the invention is not limited to the illustrated and described exemplary embodiments or solutions, but can be transferred to equivalent solutions.

[0046] By way of introduction, it should be noted that in the various embodiments, identical parts are provided with identical reference symbols or component designations. The disclosures contained throughout the description can be applied analogously to identical parts with identical reference symbols or component designations. Furthermore, the positional information chosen in the description, such as top, bottom, side, etc., refers to the described figure and, if the position changes, must be applied analogously to the new position.

[0047] 1 a to 8 show an embodiment of a stamp 1, in particular a roller stamp, with a cutting device 2 which is arranged on an upper part 3 and can be activated via an actuating means 4, i.e. when the actuating means 4 is actuated, the cutting device 2, which in the rest position is arranged countersunk in the housing or upper part 3 of the stamp 1, is pushed out of the housing or protrudes from the upper part 3. The outer housing of the upper part 3 is preferably designed in one piece, but can also be formed from several parts, e.g. plug-together half shells, etc. Figs. 1 c and 5 show the cutting device 2 in the activated position, while the cutting device 2 in Figs. 1 a, 1 b, 2a, 2b, 3, 4 and 8 is shown in the rest position in which it is completely accommodated inside the upper part 3 of the punch 1 and does not protrude beyond the outer surface of the punch 1.The actuating means 4 and the cutting device 2, in particular the opening for the cutting device 2, are arranged at opposite corner regions 5, 6 and connected to one another via a pivoting mechanism 7 (Fig. 2b). The corner regions 5, 6 are formed by the proximal region in the transition region between an upper side 8 of the upper part 3 and an adjacent side surface 9. The actuating means 4 and the cutting device 2 can therefore be arranged at opposite end regions of the upper side 8 of the upper part 3, and / or at the immediately adjacent side surfaces 9 of the upper part 3 and / or directly in the corners formed by the upper side 8 and the adjacent side surface 9. However, it is not necessary for the actuating means 4 and the cutting device 2 to be arranged at the same position in the corner region 5, 6.In the embodiment shown, for example, the actuating means 4 is arranged largely on the side surface 9, whereas the cutting device 2 or the opening is arranged largely in the end region of the upper side.

[0048] The upper part 3 of the stamp 1, in particular the upper side 8 and / or the adjacent side surface 9, serves as a pressure or gripping area 10 for the user of the stamp 1 during the stamping process. Furthermore, an additional cutting device 11, which is preferably designed as a letter opener, can also be arranged on the upper part 3 of the stamp 1.

[0049] Fig. 1 a shows the stamp 1 in its rest position, in which it is inactive both with regard to the stamping process and the actuating means 4 for the cutting device 2, wherein a closure cap 12 can be arranged on the underside of the stamp 1. The optional, detachably connected closure cap 12 can preferably be arranged or provided to prevent the stamping ink from drying out or to protect an ink application device 13 (Fig. 1 b) from dust and dirt, or to enable the roller or cylinder stamp used as an example in the embodiment shown to be placed securely on a flat surface, for example at a workplace or desk.

[0050] In Fig. 1 b, the stamp 1 is shown in the stamping position without the closure cap 12, wherein the actuating means 4 and thus the cutting device 2 are inactive during the stamping process in order to avoid the risk of injury to the user of the stamp 1. On the underside of the stamp 1, i.e. on the side of the stamp 1 opposite the top side 8 of the upper part 3, a receiving area 14 is formed, in which the ink application device 13 is arranged. For fastening the closure cap 12, fastening means 15 can be arranged on the stamp housing in the area of the ink application device 13. The fastening means 15 on the stamp 1 can preferably be formed by projections or depressions which correspond to oppositely designed fastening means 16 (Fig. 2 b), i.e. oppositely designed depressions or projections, on the inside of the closure cap.In the illustrated embodiment, the fastening means 15 on the plunger 1 is designed as an inclined guide groove, in particular six such guide grooves, so that the closure cap 12 can be screwed onto the underside of the plunger 1 by turning the fastening means 16, which are designed as point-shaped projections. However, the fastening means 15 and 16 can also be designed as a snap mechanism, for example.

[0051] Fig. 1 c shows the punch 1 in the preferred cutting position with the actuating means 4 and the cutting device 2 activated. The actuating means 4 is thus displaced along a preferably slot-shaped recess 17 or opening, whereby the cutting device 2 is pivoted or pushed toward the top side 8 out of a slot-shaped opening 18. In the cutting position, the punch 1 is arranged pivoted by more than 90° relative to the punch position.

[0052] Preferably, the cutting device 2 can be used in this way to cut a wide variety of objects 19, such as paper, cardboard, films, packaging, etc. When the actuating means 4 is activated or operated, the cutting device 2 pivots out of the upper part 3 of the stamp 1 in the direction of the top side 8 or upwards, whereas the actuating means 4 pivots in the opposite direction, i.e. towards the ink application device 13 or underside of the stamp 1. If a closure cap 12 is present, this is preferably put on or screwed on during the cutting process, in particular to prevent the user from coming into contact with the ink application device 13 during cutting. It should be noted at this point that there are also other types of stamp with which there is no risk of contamination even without a closure cap 12 (e.g. self-inking stamps Fig. 9 and 11).

[0053] Fig. 2a shows a plan view of the stamp 1 according to the invention with the cutting device 2 and the actuating means 3 and Fig. 2b and Fig. 3 show a section according to the lines AA in Fig. 2a.

[0054] The pivoting mechanism 7 is preferably formed from at least one pivoting lever 20, to which the cutting device 2 is fastened, and the actuating means 4. However, it is equally possible to form the pivoting lever 20 together with the actuating means 4 in one piece. The pivoting mechanism 7, in particular the pivoting lever 20, has a bearing axis 21 such that when the actuating means 4 is activated or actuated in the direction of the underside of the punch 1, the cutting device 2 can be pivoted towards the top of the punch 1. As shown, the bearing axis 21 is preferably arranged closer to the actuating means 4 than to the cutting device 2. This ensures that the cutting device 2 pivots further out of the punch 1 when the actuating means 4 is activated, i.e., that a greater adjustment path of the cutting device 2 than the actuating path of the actuating means 4 is created.Of course, the bearing axis 21 can be arranged along the entire length of the pivoting mechanism 7 inside the housing, for example closer to the cutting device 2, e.g. in the central region of the pivoting mechanism 7. The closer the bearing axis 21 is positioned to the cutting device 2, the smaller the pivoting movement of the cutting device 2 in relation to the pivoting movement of the actuating means 4.

[0055] To return the cutting device 2, in particular into the interior of the punch housing, i.e., into a position in which the cutting device 2 preferably does not protrude beyond the outer side of the upper part 4, a holding or returning means 22, in particular designed as a return spring, can be arranged, which is or can be connected on the one hand to the housing of the punch 1 or an insert element 23 mounted therein and on the other hand to the pivoting mechanism 7, in particular to the pivoting lever 20. The connection is preferably made via fastening means 24, 25. However, one of the fastening means 24, 25 can also be omitted and the holding or returning means 22 can be fixedly connected to one side. The holding or returning means 22 is preferably fastened to the pivoting mechanism 7 in the area of the cutting device 2, but can equally well be arranged at another location on the pivoting mechanism 7 between the bearing axis 21 and the cutting device 2.

[0056] The cutting device 2 is preferably rigidly attached to the pivoting lever 20. In the illustrated embodiment, the pivoting lever 20 is curved, and the cutting device 2 is arranged substantially at a right angle to the pivoting lever 20. The angular design of the pivoting lever 20 achieves, among other things, more space for the cutting device 2, in particular the inserted blade. Thus, the cutting device 2 is completely accommodated by the upper part 3 in the rest position. Of course, the pivoting lever 20 can also be straight or designed at a different angle, just as the cutting device 2 can also be arranged at a different angle to the pivoting lever 20.

[0057] Because the bearing axis 21 can be arranged at different positions of the pivoting mechanism 7 and the pivoting lever 20 and / or the cutting device 2 can be angled differently and the position and force effect of the holding or return means 22 can also be varied, the pivoting movement, the angle of the cutting device 2 or the knife and the force required to activate the actuating means 4 can be precisely dosed or adjusted.

[0058] For better holding or guiding of the bearing spindle 21, bearing means 26a, 26b, in particular bearing shells, can be arranged. The bearing means 26b is preferably designed to be removable, in particular when the upper part 3 is designed as a one-piece. When the upper part 3 is designed as a one-piece, the pivotably arranged bearing spindle 21 of the pivoting lever 20 is mounted by a divisible bearing by means of the bearing means 26a, 26b, i.e. the bearing means 26a in the upper part 3 is preferably designed as a one-piece part, into which the bearing spindle 21 of the pivoting lever 20 can be inserted, after which the further bearing means 26b is then placed, so that the bearing spindle 21 is completely mounted in a bearing bush made up of the two bearing means 26a, 26b. In the same way, the bearing means 26b can also be formed in the housing of the punch 1 ora complete bearing receptacle must be formed in the housing, in particular with a half-shell design of the upper part 3 or with a lateral opening for inserting the bearing axis 21.

[0059] The optionally arranged further cutting device 11 is preferably formed on the side surface 9 of the upper part 3, in particular on the side surface 9 on which the cutting device 2 is arranged in the upper region. However, it is equally possible to arrange the cutting device 11 on the upper side 8 of the upper part 3. Preferably, the cutting device 11 is formed by a recess 27, in particular a slot-shaped recess 27, in the housing of the upper part 3 and a cutting means 28, in particular a blade, arranged inside the housing. The cutting means 28 is preferably positioned at a distance from the housing wall via a spacer element 29 and is arranged so as to be pivotable, preferably horizontally, in the direction of the longitudinal extent of the slot-shaped recess 27. The cutting means 28 is preferably arranged on the optional insert element 23 or directly on the inside of the upper part 3 of the stamp 1.The attachment to the insert element 23 or to the upper part 3 in the stamp housing is achieved in particular via a fastening means 30, which is designed in the manner of an axis and thus enables a pivoting movement. To limit the pivoting movement of the cutting means 28, limit stops can be arranged on the insert element 23 or on the inside of the housing. The cutting device 11 is therefore preferably designed as a letter opener, wherein when an envelope is inserted into the recess 27 and pulled through along the longitudinal extent of the recess 27, the cutting means 28 is pivoted slightly and slits open the envelope. The arrangement of the spacer element 29 and the pivotable mounting of the cutting means 28 prevent the cutting means 28 from becoming jammed.

[0060] In the housing of the stamp 1, in the illustrated embodiment, the ink application device 13 is fastened to the underside of the insert element 23. The insert element 23 preferably has bowl-shaped projections 31 (Fig. 1b) that encompass, in particular detachably, the axial extensions 32, 33 of the ink application device 13, which are integrally formed on an axial body 35. Such bowl-shaped projections 31 can of course also be arranged directly on the housing of the stamp 1, in particular on the upper part 3. One of the two axial extensions 32, 33 of the ink application device 13, in the illustrated embodiment the axial extension 32, preferably has a larger diameter than the other axial extension 33 and an opening 34 for filling or refilling ink.Because the second axle extension 33 is preferably closed, the axle body 35 is hollow and further recesses 36 are arranged in the axle body 35, the paint application device 13 can be re-soaked or covered with paint from the inside in a simple manner.

[0061] The insert element 23 can preferably have the cutting means 28, spacer element 29, projections 31 and the fastening means 25. The holding or restoring means 22 can also be fastened or arranged directly on the insert element 23. However, it is equally possible to form individual or all of these means and elements in the upper part 3 or to omit the insert element 23 completely. When using the insert element 23, it is preferably designed such that a support surface 37 and a locking element 38 are provided on the insert element 23, wherein a support surface 39 and a locking surface 40 are formed in or on the upper part 1. When the support surface 37 rests on the support surface 39, the locking element 38 locks with the locking surface 40. The insert element 23 is thus preferably held by the support surfaces 37, 39 against displacement into the receiving area 14 and is secured by the locking connection orthe locking element 38, which is designed in particular as a locking lug, against displacement towards the underside of the stamp 1. The locking element 38 is preferably designed to be releasable.

[0062] Fig. 5 shows the cutting device 2 and the actuating means 4 in the activated or actuated position. By way of example, the pivoting movement can be seen from the combination of Fig. 2b and Fig. 5. The force effect of the holding or restoring means 22 acts essentially preferably opposite to the pivoting direction of the cutting device 2. By solving the pivoting movement and restoring in this way, it is achieved that the cutting device 2, when cutting on an object 19, the pressing force acts counter to the restoring force of the holding or restoring means 22 and thus preferably the cutting device 2 is held in its actuated position, whereby the force required to actuate or keep the actuating means 4 actuated is reduced or can be reduced.

[0063] When the actuating means 4 is actuated or activated, i.e. when the actuating means 4 is moved along the slot-shaped recess 17 (better seen in Fig. 1 c), the cutting device 2 pivots in the opposite direction. A contact surface 41 a is preferably provided on the pivoting mechanism 7 or on the pivoting lever 20, which contact surface comes into contact with an inner side 41 b of the upper part 3, in particular the upper side 8 inside the punch 1, particularly when the cutting device 2 is extended or activated, and limits the cutting device 2 from pivoting further outwards. Furthermore, a stop surface 42, which is formed in the end region of the slot-shaped opening 18, can limit the cutting device 2 against the compressive force during cutting. This can impart additional stability to the cutting device 2.

[0064] Fig. 6 and 7 show the pivoting mechanism 7 without components of the stamp 1, wherein Fig. 6 is an exploded view of the pivoting mechanism 7 together with the parts preferably arranged thereon, such as the bearing means 26b and the holding or return means 22, and Fig. 7 shows the pivoting mechanism 7 with the pivoting lever 20 and cutting device 2 attached.

[0065] The pivoting mechanism 7 preferably consists of the pivot lever 20 and the actuating means 4, although it can of course also have additional parts or be divided differently or into additional parts. A one-piece design is also possible. The cutting device 2 is arranged in one end region 43 of the pivoting mechanism 7 or pivot lever 20, and the actuating means 4 is arranged in the opposite end region 44. In particular, when the pivoting mechanism 7 is designed in two or more parts, the pivot lever 20 preferably has a recess or opening 45 on the end face in the end region 44 and a further recess 49 on a side surface 46 or on a top side 47 or bottom side 48, the opening 45 being connected to the recess 49. In this preferred design, the arrangement of the opening 45 and recess 49 on different sides of the pivot lever 20 orA locking edge 50 is formed by the openings / recesses directed at an angle to one another. The fact that the actuating means 4 preferably has an extension 51 on which a locking element 52 can be arranged enables a simple connection to the pivot lever 20. The extension 51 of the actuating element 4 is inserted into the opening 45, wherein the extension 51 is pushed up to the adjacent recess 49, so that the locking extension or the locking element 52 engages the locking edge 50 and thus the actuating means 4 is connected to the pivot lever 20. Of course, it is also possible to connect the actuating means 4 to the pivot lever 20 in a different way, for example by gluing, in which case the recess 49 and the locking element 52 can be omitted. It is equally possible for the extension 51 to be formed not on the actuating means 4 but on the pivot lever 20.In this case, the actuating means 4 is formed in particular by the actuating button, wherein even in such a solution, locking elements are preferably formed on the actuating button and on the extension 51 or the connection of the actuating means 4 to the pivot lever 20 can be realized by gluing.

[0066] The bearing axis 21 arranged on the pivot lever 20 is, as can be better seen in Fig. 7, preferably arranged in the rear half of the pivot mechanism 7, in particular in the region between the center of the pivot mechanism 7 and the end region of the actuating means 4 or the actuating surface for the user. The bearing axis 21 is formed at an angle of substantially 90° to the longitudinal extension of the pivot lever 20 and preferably has a round cross-sectional shape. The bearing means 26a, 26b are provided to receive projections 53 of the bearing axis 21. Preferably, one of the bearing means 26a is designed as a bearing shell or partial shell, in particular a half shell, and is arranged in the upper part 3 of the punch 1 (Fig. 2b), and the second bearing means 26b is also designed as a partial shell, in particular a half shell, which can be subsequently inserted for better assembly. To fix the bearing means 26b, this has a fixing means 54, in particular a projection.Of course, it is also possible to provide both bearing means 26a, 26b in the punch 1 or to design both to be removable. It is also possible, instead of partial or half shells, to form a bearing shell in the upper part 3 of the punch 1, which largely (except for an insertion opening) or completely encompasses the projections 53 of the bearing axis 21.

[0067] The cutting device 2 arranged in the front area of the pivoting mechanism 7 or pivot lever 20 is preferably detachably connected to the pivot lever 20. For this purpose, the pivot lever 20 preferably has a recess 55 into which the cutting device 2 can be inserted or pushed, and furthermore a locking means 56 that engages or is connected to a locking receptacle 57 on the cutting device 2, in particular a recess. The locking means 56 preferably has a movable element 58 with a projection 59 (Fig. 2b). Furthermore, guide or limiting means 60 can be arranged in the recess 55. This allows a fixed arrangement of the cutting device 2 in the pivot lever 20, so that its position in the pivot lever 20 is fixed. The movable element 58 preferably holds the cutting device 2, in particular on the locking receptacle 57, via the projection 59.This prevents the cutting device 2 from falling out in the opposite direction to the direction in which it is inserted into the pivot lever 20. The cutting device 2 can preferably be replaced by pushing the projection 59 out of the locking receptacle 57. In the exemplary embodiment shown, the recess 55 is arranged on the upper side 47 in the front area of the pivot lever 20. However, it can equally well be arranged directly in the end area 43 on the front side of the pivot lever 20. The holding mechanisms for the cutting device 2 in the pivot lever 20 can also be designed differently and / or the cutting device 2 can be permanently connected to the pivot lever 20, for example by gluing. When gluing, the locking means 56, the locking receptacle 57, the movable element 58 including the projection 59 and the guiding or limiting means 60 can also be omitted.

[0068] As shown, the pivot lever 20 can be curved in its longitudinal extent. However, it can also be straight, have multiple curved edges, or be arcuate. Preferably, however, the pivot lever 20 has the contact surface 41a, which serves in particular as a contact surface 41a inside the stamp 1. Due to the contact surface 41a bearing against the inside of the upper part 3 of the stamp 1, the pivoting movement is limited when the actuating means 4 is activated or actuated. Providing the contact surface 41a not only limits the maximum extension distance of the cutting device 2, but also achieves greater stability, particularly when cutting an object 19 (as shown in Fig. 1c), because here an increased force is exerted on the pivot mechanism 7 or pivot lever 20 due to the user pressing it down.

[0069] The fastening means 24 for the holding or restoring means 22 is preferably attached in the front area on the underside 48 of the pivoting mechanism 7 or pivot lever 20. Of course, the fastening means 24 can also be attached in other areas of the pivot lever 20, for example on the side surfaces 46 or the top side 47. The holding or restoring means 22 is preferably designed as a resilient element, in particular a tension spring. However, the holding or restoring means 22 can also be designed as a compression spring and be arranged or fastened, for example, on the top side 47 of the pivot lever 20. The holding or restoring means 22 can also be arranged in the end area 44, wherein in the end area 44 there is an opposite force action to that in the end area 43 and in this case a holding or restoring means 22 is used in which the tensile force acts or is present from above and / or compressive force from below. In such an embodiment, the return means 22 can be designed, for example, as an upwardly directed tension spring or a compression spring acting from below.

[0070] To better illustrate the preferred arrangement and design of the cutting device 2, Fig. 8 shows a rendering of a cutting device 2 installed in the upper part of the stamp 1, wherein in particular partial surfaces of the upper part 3 are shown transparent and the cutting device 2 is shown in its initial or inactive position, in which the cutting device 2 is arranged completely sunk in the housing of the stamp 1.

[0071] Basically, it can be said that the stamp 1 with cutting device 2 functions in such a way that by pushing the actuating element 4 from its rest position, according to Figure 1a, into its activated position, according to Figure 1c, the pivoting lever 20 is pivoted via the bearing axis 21, so that the cutting device 2 fastened to the pivoting lever 20 is pivoted outwards from the upper part 3. If the cutting device 2 is no longer required, the actuating element 4 can be released, so that due to the holding or return element 22, the cutting device 2 is drawn into the interior of the upper part 3, whereby due to the bearing axis 21, the actuating element 4 is pivoted into the rest position.

[0072] Fig. 9 to 11 show other embodiments of stamps 1 with activated cutting device 2 or actuated actuating means 4. The cutting device 2 according to the invention can be designed or provided in a wide variety of stamps 1, namely both in different types of stamps, such as self-inking stamps 1 (Fig. 9, Fig. 11), pre-ink stamps 1, in particular flash stamps 1 (Fig. 10), roller stamps (Fig. 1b) etc., as well as stamps 1 in different designs, such as rectangular or square stamps 1 (Fig. 9, Fig. 10), oval or round stamps 1 (Fig. 11).

[0073] The different types and designs of the stamps 1 preferably have the upper side 8 of the upper part 3 in the upper end region and the ink application device 13 in the opposite end region or in the receiving region 14, wherein the cutting device 2 including the pivoting mechanism 7 is preferably arranged in the upper end region.

[0074] The use of the cutting device 2 of the stamp 1, in which the cutting device 2 and an actuating means 4 are arranged in the upper part 3 so as to be movable, and preferably a closure cap 12 for closing the ink application device 13 is fastened to the stamp 1, is such that when the actuating means 4 is activated or actuated, it is pivoted against the direction of movement of the cutting device 2, wherein the actuating means 4 is pivoted in the direction of the closure cap 12 or ink application device 13, wherein when the actuating means 4 is deactivated, it is reset via a holding or restoring means 22 into the starting position in which the cutting device 2 is arranged inside the upper part 3.

[0075] Finally, it should be noted that the description is largely written in terms of device technology, whereby all device-related features can also be applied analogously to a process-related version.

[0076] For the sake of clarity, it is also pointed out that the invention is not limited to the embodiments shown, but may include further designs and structures.
