Description

[0001] cap

[0002] Field of the invention

[0003] The invention relates to a closure cap for closing the pouring opening of a container according to the preamble of claim 1 and to a container according to the preamble of claim 21.

[0004] State of the art

[0005] The state of the art in the field of plastic closure caps with a tamper-evident band includes closure caps that are permanently attached to the container and seal its pouring opening. This retention function is also of great importance because legal regulations will be enacted in the coming years that require beverage bottle closures to be permanently attached to the beverage bottle, even when opened.

[0006] Closure caps are also known which have two retaining straps that connect a threaded portion of the closure cap to a tamper-evident ring on the closure cap. The two retaining straps can act as a hinge, around which the threaded portion can be folded away from the tamper-evident ring or from the container to be sealed, from a closed position to an open position. A locking lug is formed on the open edge of the threaded portion. With the locking lug, the threaded portion can be locked in the open position to the external thread of the bottle neck. This fixes the threaded portion in the open position and minimally interferes with the pouring process.

[0007] However, the nosepiece can only withstand a certain amount of tension from the retaining straps in the open position and is prone to bending. This provides little feedback to the user when moving the threaded part into the open position. Furthermore, there are many sharp edges in the nosepiece area, which can cause injury to the user.

[0008] Object of the invention

[0009] The disadvantages of the described prior art give rise to the object of creating an improved captive closure cap which has an improved haptic quality with regard to operation and safety.

[0010] The stated problem is solved in a closure cap for closing the pouring opening of a container by the features stated in the characterizing portion of patent claim 1. Further developments and / or advantageous embodiments are the subject of the dependent patent claims.

[0011] The invention is preferably characterized in that the locking lug has the shape of a first ramp, wherein the height of the first ramp increases in the radial direction starting from the open edge and in that the groove is flanked by a second and third ramp formed on the guarantee ring, the heights of which decrease from the groove in the circumferential direction of the guarantee ring. Because the locking lug is a first ramp, the locking lug is mechanically reinforced and can no longer bent under load. Under increased load, caused by higher tensile stresses in the retaining straps, the locking lug does not give way. As a result, the threaded part can assume an increased opening angle in the open position, which is not reduced again by yielding the locking lug. An increased opening angle is desirable because it makes the container significantly more user-friendly when pouring out contents. The increased tensile stress also leads to an improved snap-in function of the locking lug in the open position, improving the feel when opening. The threaded portion's casing can also engage more firmly with the container's support ring, which stabilizes the threaded portion in the open position and can provide the user with audible feedback that the threaded portion has snapped into place. The first ramp also eliminates sharp edges and steps on the locking lug, reducing the risk of injury and improving user safety.

[0012] The second and third ramps protect the first ramp and compensate for the excessive protrusion of the locking lug from the outer contour of the cap. This also minimizes the risk of injury. Additionally, it is conceivable that the threaded portion rests against the second and third ramps in the open position, stabilizing the threaded portion in the open position and preventing it from wobbling.

[0013] In a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, the first ramp has a ramp table at its open end. This flattening of the ramp prevents a sharp edge on the first ramp, which could lead to injuries. In addition, the threaded part with the ramp table can rest against the spout in the open position, thereby stabilizing the open position. In a further preferred embodiment of the invention, the first ramp is U-shaped with a first and second leg and a base, wherein the heights of the legs increase starting from the open edge and the base is the ramp table. The U-shape of the locking lug fulfills all the requirements placed on the first ramp in a way that is gentle on the material.

[0014] For convenience, a reinforcing rib is formed on the locking lug between the first and second legs. This increases the mechanical stability of the U-shaped locking lug, allowing the locking lug to withstand high bending forces without deforming.

[0015] It has proven useful to have rounded edges on the legs, base, and optional reinforcement rib. This minimizes the risk of injury from the first locking lug.

[0016] In a further preferred embodiment of the invention, the first ramp is a full-surface thickening. This embodiment enables maximum mechanical stability of the locking lug. Since this embodiment is free of recesses and ribs, and the entire locking lug is thickened to form the first ramp, the negative impression can be easily created in an injection mold, and demolding the locking lug from the mold is correspondingly simple.

[0017] Ideally, the first ramp extends beyond the second and third ramps by 1 to 4 mm, and preferably by 1.5 to 2 mm. This minimizes the protrusion of the locking lug from the outer contour of the cap, while still maintaining sufficient thickness to ensure reliable snap-in engagement with the spout.

[0018] It is advantageous if the first ramp has a length between 4 and 10 mm, and preferably between 5 and 7 mm. This length allows for a high tensile stress to be built up in the two tension bands in the open position, which leads to the advantages outlined above, in particular an increased opening angle of the threaded part.

[0019] The first ramp preferably has a height between 3 and 6 mm at its highest point, and preferably between 4 and 5 mm. The highest point is preferably defined by the ramp table. This height allows for the establishment of a stable open position.

[0020] The invention is also preferably characterized in that the first and third ends are hinged to the open edge by a first and second hinge. The hinges allow the threaded portion to be pivoted relative to the first and second retaining straps about the hinges into the open position, making the transition to the open position simple and intuitive for the user. This also prevents the threaded portion from accidentally being torn off the tamper-evident ring.

[0021] Conveniently, the first edge is detachably connected to the open edge of the threaded portion by at least one first predetermined breaking bar, and the second edge is detachably connected to the tamper-evident ring by at least one second predetermined breaking bar. The third edge can also preferably be detachably connected to the open edge of the threaded portion by at least one third predetermined breaking bar, and the fourth edge can be detachably connected to the tamper-evident ring by at least one fourth predetermined breaking bar. This provides the retaining straps with good axial support, which is necessary for the closure cap to be pressed onto the spout without the retaining straps being compressed or destroyed.

[0022] Preferably, the first and third ends are connected to the tamper-evident ring by a second and a fourth predetermined breaking bar, respectively. By providing the two fourth predetermined breaking bars, the retaining bands are sufficiently supported and held in place to prevent damage when impacting the spout. Therefore, additional third and fourth predetermined breaking bars can be omitted, saving plastic material.

[0023] It is also advantageous if the first and third ends enclose a first opening angle of at least 4 degrees and at most 10 degrees, and preferably of at least 5 and at most 7 degrees, with respect to the center of the closure cap as the apex, and the second and fourth ends enclose a second opening angle of at least 180 degrees and at most 240 degrees, and preferably of at least 200 and at most 220 degrees, with respect to the center of the closure cap as the apex. By selecting these angular sizes, the first and second retaining bands on the guarantee ring are in a position in which, when the threaded part is in the open position, they extend essentially tangentially along the spout. As a result, the retaining bands move with the threaded part without getting caught on the spout when the threaded part is moved into the open position.

[0024] Conveniently, the opening angle enclosing the locking lug with the center point as the apex essentially corresponds to the first opening angle. By cutting out the first and second retaining bands from the guarantee ring, the locking lug is preferably cut free and the groove is formed. It would also be conceivable to provide a larger distance between the first end of the first retaining band and the locking lug, or between the third end of the second retaining band and the locking lug, than if the distance were created by cutting out the retaining bands.

[0025] It is preferred if the first and second ends enclose a third opening angle of at least 50 degrees and at most 80 degrees and preferably of at least 60 and at most 70 degrees with respect to the center of the closure cap as the apex.

[0026] It is also preferred if the third and fourth ends enclose a fourth opening angle of at least 50 degrees and at most 80 degrees, and preferably of at least 60 degrees and at most 70 degrees, relative to the center of the closure cap as the apex. Through this selection of the third and fourth opening angles, the first and second retaining bands have a length that enables unscrewing, transferring the threaded part into the open position, and holding the threaded part in the open position with high tensile stress (in combination with the dimensioning of the first ramp). In combination with the first and second opening angles, the retaining bands maintain the appropriate position on the guarantee ring to allow the protruding movements of the threaded part.

[0027] Conveniently, the third and fourth opening angles are equal, so the first and second retaining straps are the same length. This ensures that the threaded part is held in the open position with even tension.

[0028] Since the first, second, third and fourth angles have a circle center as their vertex, their sum of angles must be 360 degrees.

[0029] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the length of the first and second retaining straps is dimensioned such that they are tensioned in the open position and the threaded portion is held in the open position. The retaining straps are preferably elastically tensioned, allowing the threaded portion to be moved multiple times between the closed position and the open position. The increased tension of the retaining straps, caused by the dimensioning of the retaining straps and the first locking lug, allows the threaded portion to be held in the open position at a large opening angle without wobbling.

[0030] Conveniently, a first and second recess for receiving the first and second retaining bands is provided on the edge of the tamper-evident ring facing the first and second retaining bands. This allows the first and second retaining bands to be formed from the tamper-evident ring in a space-saving manner and without additional material expenditure. For example, the first and second retaining bands can be cut out of the tamper-evident ring or formed during the manufacturing process of the closure cap.

[0031] It has proven useful to incorporate an inwardly projecting inner cone, e.g., in the form of a sealing cylinder or a sealing ring, into the base of the threaded portion. This cone is designed to interact sealingly with the inner wall of the spout in the closed position. The closure cap can therefore act as a so-called "cone sealer," reliably sealing the spout.

[0032] In a further preferred embodiment of the invention, the first and second retaining bands have a width between 3 mm and 7 mm, and preferably a width between 4 mm and 5 mm. This dimensioning ensures that the retaining band does not tear accidentally, especially if the predetermined breaking bars are torn off. Furthermore, the closure cap is not too high and can be sealed with standardized container necks with external threads.

[0033] The invention is also characterized by the fact that the closure cap is designed to interact with a standardized spout with an external thread and an annular projection. The closure cap can therefore be placed on standardized container necks, particularly those of PET beverage bottles. Containers assembled with the closure cap according to the invention therefore do not need to be specially adapted to the closure cap.

[0034] The cap is preferably made of a plastic material, preferably HDPE (high-density polyethylene) or PP (polypropylene). The cap can therefore be manufactured from standard plastic materials, which are also used to produce well-known caps with tamper-evident rings.

[0035] In a further preferred embodiment of the invention, the threaded portion, the tamper-evident ring, the retaining bands, the predetermined breaking and retaining webs, and the locking lug are manufactured in one piece. This allows the closure cap to be manufactured in an injection mold without the need for further processing steps to form the first and second retaining bands. Preferably, the inner cone is also manufactured in one piece with the other parts of the closure cap.In a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, the guarantee ring has slots distributed over the circumference, each having an upper edge and a lower edge. The upper edge is formed by a circular arc-shaped section of the guarantee ring, and the lower edge is formed by a wall section inclined inward in the radial direction. The lower edge of each slot forms the projections, thereby forming engagement means for positive engagement with the annular projection. Since the engagement means in the form of the inwardly inclined wall sections are not present over the entire circumference of the guarantee ring, and since slots are also present, the shape of which further reduces the material used, the plastic material requirement can be significantly reduced by up to 5%.In addition, the wall section is immobile inwards in the radial direction, whereby the guarantee ring is held by the annular projection and can only be pulled over it when the guarantee ring is stretched along its circumference. The guarantee ring is held in place by the wall sections on the annular projection in such a way that the predetermined breaking elements tear safely before the holder of the wall sections is overcome. This stable form fit also ensures that the guarantee ring is not pulled off the spout when the threaded part is moved into the second position, even though high tensile stress is built up in the retaining bands during this transfer. However, the wall sections are flexible or movable in the radial direction outwards. This means that the wall sections can be removed from the injection mold or injection molding tool with little effort. For the same reason, the application force required to pop the cap open is significantly reduced compared to the state of the art. Stretching of the tamper-evident ring, which could lead to permanent damage to the cap, is largely prevented during demolding and popping open.

[0036] A further aspect of the invention relates to a container comprising a container body, a spout connected to the container body, an external thread formed on the spout and a closure cap according to the above description.

[0037] In a further embodiment, the locking lug engages the external thread in the open position, and the first casing rests against the second and third ramps. This holds the threaded portion firmly and securely in the open position. In a further embodiment, the locking lug engages the external thread in the open position, and the first casing rests against the support ring. A dimensioning is conceivable in which the first casing rests against the second and third ramps and the support ring, thereby maximizing the stability of the threaded portion in the open position in combination with the increased tensile stress in the retaining straps.

[0053] Figure 12: a detailed view of the guarantee ring and

[0054] Figure 13: a sectional view of the guarantee ring from Figure 12 with visualized angles of inclination. Figures 1 to 6 and 7 to 11 show a closure cap in a first and second embodiment, respectively, which is designated overall by the reference numeral 11. The closure cap 11 is held captively on a container 13, for example on a PET bottle. The container 13 is indicated in Figures 1, 5, 6, 10 and 11. The closure cap 11 comprises a cylindrical threaded part 15, a guarantee ring 17 and a first and a second retaining band 19a, 19b. The first and second retaining bands 19a, 19b are circular and formed from the guarantee ring 17.

[0055] The threaded portion 15 comprises a base 21 and a first cylindrical shell 23 with an open rim 25. An internal thread 27 is formed on the inside of the shell 23. The container 13 comprises a container body 28 and a spout 29 adjoining the container body 28. The spout 29 is designed as a second cylindrical shell. An external thread 31 is formed on the spout 29, which interacts with the internal thread 27. This allows the threaded portion 15 to be screwed onto and off the spout 29. The closure cap 11 closes the pouring opening 33, which is provided within the spout 29 and is delimited by it.

[0056] The guarantee ring 17 is held in a form-fitting manner on the spout 13. For this purpose, an annular projection 35 is formed on the outside of the spout 29, which can be gripped by projections 37 formed on the inside of the guarantee ring 17 (Figure 13). The guarantee ring 17 is rotatable relative to the spout 29.

[0057] The first retaining band 19a has a first end 39 and a second end 41. The first end 39 is firmly connected to the open edge 25. The second end 41 is firmly connected to the tamper-evident ring 17. As a result, the closure cap 11 is held captively on the container 13. Furthermore, the first retaining band 19a has a first edge 43 and a second edge 45. The first edge 43 is connected to the open edge 25 by at least one first predetermined breaking web 47, and the second edge 45 is detachably connected to the tamper-evident ring 17 by at least one second predetermined breaking web 49.

[0058] The second retaining band 19b has a third end 51 and a fourth end 53. The third end 51 is firmly connected to the open edge 25. The fourth end 53 is firmly connected to the tamper-evident ring 17. As a result, the closure cap 11 is additionally held captively on the container 13. Furthermore, the second retaining band 19b has a third edge 55 and a fourth edge 57. The third edge 55 is connected to the open edge 25 by at least one third predetermined breaking web 59, and the fourth edge 57 is detachably connected to the tamper-evident ring 17 by at least one fourth predetermined breaking web 61. In addition, the tamper-evident ring 17 is held to the open edge 25 by a plurality of tamper-evident webs 63. The tamper-evident webs are preferably arranged at equal intervals on the tamper-evident ring 17. It is understood that the areas occupied by the first and second retaining bands 19a, 19b on the guarantee ring 17 are free of guarantee webs 63.

[0059] It is preferred if the first and second retaining bands 19a, 19b have a width between 4 mm and 5 mm so that they are sufficiently stable.

[0060] According to Figures 1, 2, 4, 7, and 8, the threaded portion 15 is in a closed position, in which it is crimped or screwed onto the spout 29. When unscrewing the spout 29, the first and second retaining bands 19a, 19b are pulled upward in the axial direction and, if necessary, are also elastically expandable so that the threaded portion 15 can be unscrewed from the spout 29 and folded away.

[0061] A first and a second recess 65, 67 are provided on the guarantee ring 17. The first and second retaining bands 19a, 19b are received in the first and second recesses 65, 67, respectively. This makes it possible to machine the first and second retaining bands 19a, 19b directly from the guarantee ring 17, for example, by cutting them out of the guarantee ring.

[0062] On the open edge 25, adjacent to the first or third end 39, 51, there protrudes a locking lug 71. In the closed position, the locking lug 71 projects into a groove 73. The locking lug has the shape of a first ramp 71, wherein the height of the ramp increases in the radial direction, starting from the open edge 25. The ramp shape strengthens the lug 71, whereby the tensile stress in the retaining straps 19a, 19b can be increased in the open position without the lug 71 giving way. This increased stress leads to a larger opening angle of the threaded part 15 in the open position, since it is pulled further open by the retaining straps. The lug also snaps more clearly onto the spout 29 in the open position, thereby improving ease of use. In addition, the ramp shape covers sharp edges on the locking lug, which greatly reduces the risk of injury to the user and increases the safety of the closure cap 11.

[0063] A second and third ramp are formed on the guarantee ring 17, which flank the groove 73. The heights of the second and third ramps 75a, 75b decrease in the circumferential direction starting from the groove 73. The ramps 75a, 75b protect the locking lug 71 in the closed position, as the latter only slightly projects beyond the ramps 75a, 75b. A large jump in wall thickness between the guarantee ring 17 and the locking lug 71 is thus prevented. Because the ramps 75a, 75 partially cover the locking lug 71, the risk of injury is further reduced. In the open position, the threaded part 15 can rest against the ramps 75a, 75b, which improves the haptics when opening and locking the threaded part. Additionally, the jacket 23 can rest against the support ring 72, which in a container 13, in particular a PET bottle, is usually present at the transition between the spout 29 and the container body 28. A ramp table 77 is formed at the open end of the first ramp 71.The ramp table extends in a vertical plane in the closed position of the threaded part 15. The ramp table 76 further stabilizes the threaded part in the open position, thereby preventing unwanted wobbling of the threaded part in addition to the increased tensile stress of the retaining straps 19a, 19b.

[0064] Figures 1 to 6 show a first embodiment of the locking lug 71. As can be seen in the figures, the first ramp 71 is a full-surface thickening. It therefore has no recesses, ribs, or elevations. This makes it extremely stable, but requires more plastic material to form than the second embodiment described in the next paragraph.

[0065] In the second embodiment, as shown in Figures 7 to 11, the first ramp 71 is U-shaped with two legs 77a, 77b. The legs 77a, 77b increase in height from the open edge 25. The base of the "U" forms the ramp table 76. Additionally, a reinforcing rib can be formed between the two legs 77a, 77b. Preferably, all edges of the first ramp 71 are rounded to minimize the risk of injury.

[0066] The first ramp extends beyond the second and third ramps by 1 to 4 mm, and preferably by 1.5 to 2 mm. This provides the ramp table 76 with an optimal height for locking in the open position. The length of the first ramp, between 4 and 10 mm, and preferably between 5 and 7 mm, also contributes to improving locking.

[0067] The first and third ends 39, 51 are hinged to the open edge 25 by a first and second hinge 79a, 79b. The hinges allow the threaded portion 15 to be moved precisely yet smoothly into the open position by pivoting the threaded portion 15 relative to the first and second retaining straps 19a, 19b.

[0068] The first and third ends 39,51 are provided with a second and a fourth predetermined breaking bar

[0069] 49,61 are connected to the guarantee ring 17. The closure cap 11 can therefore be snapped onto the spout 29 without damaging any parts of the closure cap 11. To increase stability, additional first, second, third, and fourth predetermined breaking bars can be provided on the retaining bands 19a, 19b.

[0070] Since the closure cap 11 is rotationally symmetrical, it has a center point 83. The center point 83 lies in the imaginary plane between the open edge 25 and the guarantee ring 17. The first end 39 and the third end 51 enclose a first opening angle 85 of at least 4 degrees and at most 10 degrees, and preferably of at least 5 and at most 7 degrees, with the center point 83 as the apex. The second end 41 and the fourth end 53 enclose a second opening angle 87 of at least 180 degrees and at most 240 degrees, and preferably of at least 200 and at most 220 degrees, with the center point 83 as the apex. The first end 39 and second end 41 enclose a third opening angle 89 of at least 50 degrees and at most 80 degrees, and preferably of at least 60 and at most 70 degrees, with the center point of the closure cap as the apex. The third end 51 and the fourth end 53 enclose a fourth opening angle 91 of at least 50 degrees and at most 80 degrees, and preferably of at least 60 and at most 70 degrees with respect to the center point 83 as the apex. It is understood that the sum of the first, second, third, and fourth opening angles 85, 87, 89, 91 must be 360 degrees, since the first, second, third, and fourth opening angles have the circle center 83 as their apex. By selecting the first, second, third, and fourth opening angles, it is possible for the first and second retaining bands 19a, 19b to have a specific length, which enables the functions of the closure cap 11 described above in combination with the locking lugs.

[0071] Conveniently, the third and fourth opening angles 89, 91 are equal, which means that the first and second retaining bands 19a, 19b are equal in length. The first and second retaining bands 19a, 19b are preferably machined from the tamper-evident ring 17. The closure cap 11 can therefore act as a so-called "cone sealer" and reliably seals the spout 29.

[0072] The closure cap 11 is made of a plastic. Preferred plastics include PP and HDPE.

[0073] On the bottom 21 of the threaded portion 25, a sealing cone 93 is formed in a known manner, which cooperates sealingly with the spout 29 in the closed position (Figure 3). When the closure cap 11 is pressed onto the spout 29, the pouring opening 33 is closed by the closure cap 11, and the closure cap 11 is in the closed position. When the threaded portion 15 is unscrewed from the spout 29, the first, second, third, and fourth predetermined breaking ribs 47, 49, 59, and 61, as well as the guarantee ribs 63, break.

[0074] Figures 5 and 10 each show a position of the threaded part 15 in which the threaded part 15 has been twisted on the spout 29 and the predetermined breaking bars and guarantee bars begin to tear. Once the threaded part 15 is completely unscrewed from the spout 29, all predetermined breaking bars and guarantee bars are broken, and the threaded part 15 can be pivoted into the open position.

[0075] After unscrewing, the threaded portion 15 can be pivoted into the open position about the hinges 79a, 79b. The locking lug 71 is in a position in which it is self-explanatory that it must be locked onto the spout or the external thread 31. In the open position, the threaded portion is held captively on the spout 29 and does not get in the way when pouring the contents. The locking mechanism fixes the tamper-evident ring 17 to the spout in the direction of rotation and prevents it from twisting. This prevents the closure cap 11 from twisting into the contents stream when pouring. The stable locking lug 71 enables a large opening angle because it does not bend under the tensile stress of the retaining straps 19a, 19b. The preferential engagement of the jacket 23 with the first and second ramps 75a, 75b and the support ring 72 stabilizes the threaded portion 15 in the open position in combination with the engagement of the ramp table 76 with the spout 29.

[0076] The projections 37 can be designed according to the following description of Figures 12 and 13. Slots 97 are provided on the guarantee ring 17, distributed over the circumference. The slots 97 each have an upper edge 99 and a lower edge 101. The upper edge 99 is formed by a circular arc-shaped section of the guarantee ring 17. The lower edge 101 corresponds to the free edge of a wall section 103 inclined inward in the radial direction. Due to the inward inclination of the wall section 103, the lower edge 101 has a smaller radius than the guarantee ring 17 and can therefore strike an abutment (annular projection 35) of the spout 29 when the threaded part 15 is unscrewed from the spout 29. The abutment is realized by the annular projection 35, which is formed below the external thread 31 on the spout 29.When the threaded part 15 is unscrewed, the lower edge 99 engages the projection 35 in a form-fitting manner, whereby the guarantee ring 17 is reliably held on the annular projection 35 even under high axial forces. This increased holding force of the guarantee ring 17 is also important in this case due to the increased tensile stress in the retaining straps in the open position.

[0077] Each wall section 101 has a first subsection 105 and two second subsections 107. The first subsection 105 represents an inwardly folded shell section and is preferably flat. The second subsections 107 adjoin the inward-facing sides of the first subsection 105 and connect it to the guarantee ring 17. The second subsections 107 can be curved or flat and face each other obliquely inward. The lower edge 101 of the slot 97 corresponds to the free edges of the first subsection 105 and the second subsections 107 and lies in a plane 109, which is shown in Figure 13. The plane 109 is preferably oriented perpendicular to the rotation axis 110 of the spout 29.The described design features of the wall section 103 have the advantage that the entire lower edge 101 of the wall section 103 can rest against the annular projection 35 and does not yield when subjected to an axial upward tensile force in the manner of a barb. As a result, the guarantee ring 17 is held indetachably to the projection 35 and can only be removed from the projection 35 with destruction. An inward movement of the first partial section 105 in the radial direction is prevented by the provision of the second partial sections 107. An outward movement of the first partial section 105 in the radial direction is, however, possible. This movement is flexible, and the wall section 103, after being pushed radially outward, returns to its inwardly inclined basic position. This has the further advantage that the guarantee ring 17 is easy to demold and can be snapped onto the spout 29 together with the threaded part 15 with little force. The flexibility of the wall section 103 allows the demoulding from an injection mould and the bouncing onto the spout 29 to take place without the risk of damaging the wall section 103.

[0078] It is preferred if the inclined wall sections 103 have a reduced wall thickness compared to the rest of the guarantee ring 17. Figure 13 shows that the area of the lower edge 101 has the smallest wall thickness. This further improves the above-described flexibility of the wall section 103 radially outwards. The wall thickness of the wall section 103 increases linearly from the lower edge 101 downwards. Figures 12 and 13 show the guarantee ring 17 without the threaded part 15. Figures 12 and 13 clearly show that an annular bead 111 is formed above the slots 97 on the guarantee ring 17, on which the upper edges 99 lie.

[0079] Figure 13 shows a first and second angle of inclination 113, 115. The first angle of inclination 113 indicates the inclination of the first section 105 relative to the plane of the lower edge 101. The first angle of inclination 113 is between 60 and 80 degrees, and preferably between 65 and 75 degrees. The greater the first angle of inclination 113, the better the stability of the wall sections 103 against vertical forces or axial tensile forces caused by unscrewing the threaded part 15. However, the first angle of inclination 113 must not be too large, since otherwise the annular projection 35 cannot be sufficiently gripped.

[0080] The second angle of inclination 115 indicates the inclination of the slot 97 relative to the plane of the lower edge 111. The connecting line 117, which represents the inclination of the slot 97, connects the upper edge 99 to the lower edge 101 in a plane spanned by the rotation axis 110 and the connecting line 117. The second angle of inclination 115 is enclosed by the connecting line 117 and the plane 109. The second angle of inclination 115 is between 30 and 50 degrees and preferably between 35 and 45 degrees. The greater the second angle of inclination 115, the easier the guarantee ring 17 can be demolded.
