Abstract

A liquid dispensing device (1) for activating an adhesive layer (4) of a sheet (2) comprises an inlet (3) configured to provide the sheet (2) having the adhesive layer (4). A liquid supply (5) for an activating liquid (6) is configured to be dispensed to a surface of the roller (7). The roller (7) for the activating liquid (6) is configured to dispense the liquid and activate the adhesive layer (4). The roller (7) comprises a perforated roller surface (71). Openings (72) of the perforated roller surface (71) are configured to define inactive areas (41) on the adhesive layer (4), causing the activated adhesive layer to be interspersed with inactiveareas (41).
