Description

Description Title of the invention: Motorized control device for control the translation of a panel technical field

[0001] The present invention relates to the technical field of stroke control of a a movable panel that translates relative to a bay that such a panel must allow to open or close.

[0002] = A particularly advantageous application of the invention relates to panels mobile units in translation intended to form shutter panels for bays, when Security measures must be taken to temporarily isolate two premises different separated by a fixed partition, delimiting said bay which serves ordinary intercommunication between premises.

[0003] = A particularly advantageous application concerns fire-resistant doors which are generally used in industrial and commercial premises, even public spaces, such as car parks. Previous technique

[0004] — In the preferred application above, the doors, referred to as fire-resistant or fire-stopping, consist of at least one panel, usually a large one. Such a panel is intended to close off an opening in a partition wall separating commercial premises communicating through this bay. This mobile panel is intended to occupy a first position, known as the safety or bay closure position, in which the panel allows to completely seal the opening, in order to prevent, for example, the passage of smoke or of flames in the rooms separated by the partition.

[0005] Such a movable panel is intended to be immobilized in a second position, called opening of the bay. Such a panel is held in an open position by through generally static means, including the release or neutralization intervenes automatically or in a controlled manner when a safety signal imposes the closure of the bay.

[0006] — Typically, when a safety signal is activated, the sign is not subject to no positive motorization action, so it is generally moved auto- matically, in a translational movement to come and occupy its closing position, that is either by means of a counterweight, or by means of the presence of a rail inclined in the appropriate direction and from which the movable panel is suspended.

[0007] — Originally, the commissioning of such a panel was temporary and occasional and related to fire safety measures. However, it appears, more and more often, the obligation to regularly close such signs, for example every evening, so that they occupy their safety position. Each of these panels must therefore be placed in the open position every morning, which is a relatively delicate maneuver to carry out, given the size and weight of such panels. In the state of the art, various devices are known to facilitate the opening of such panels, while retaining a function of transitioning from the open position to the closed position without any positive motorization action. Thus, French patent FR 2 866 669 proposed a device for controlling the movement of a movable panel, comprising a motor connected to the panel by a transmission mechanism. Such a device includes a means of locking the rotor by applying a holding current to the motor, in order to maintain the panel in the open position. It therefore appears that, in the open position, the motor must be powered, which constitutes a major drawback that necessitates, in particular, the implementation of a backup battery to keep the closing control systems active. A winch for the automatic movement of a movable panel is also known from French patent FR 2 605 620. This winch incorporates a worm gear-pinion type system that transforms a rotary control movement into a linear movement of the movable panel. The worm gear-pinion system is irreversible, allowing the panel to move into its open position and preventing it from moving into its closed position. The worm gear is mounted on an oscillating support held in position by a connecting rod. This connecting rod can be moved by an actuating mechanism to disengage the worm gear from the pinion, allowing the panel to move into its closed position. The winch described in this patent has a relatively high level of complexity in its construction and does not allow for consideration of the constraints relating to fire safety of the moving panel. To overcome these drawbacks, French patent FR 2 892 753 describes the implementation, as an irreversible mechanism, of an irreversible reduction gear interposed between the motor and the cable winding pulley connected to the panel for opening the latter. An electromagnetic clutch is mounted between the irreversible reduction gear and the pulley. This electromagnetic clutch comprises a stator locked in rotation with the reduction gear and a rotor on which the pulley is mounted by means of a bearing. The stator is equipped with an electromagnetic coil which, when not energized, defines an air gap between the rotor and a friction disc coupled in rotation with the pulley, allowing disengagement between the pulley and the reduction gear and free rotation of the pulley, ensuring the automatic opening of the panel. When the electromagnetic coil is When powered, the friction disc is rotationally coupled to the gearbox, allowing the motor to drive the pulley. Such a device is satisfactory in practice, but for certain applications it is expensive due to the use of an electromagnetic clutch and the pulley's bearing mounting. Furthermore, due to the weight of a movable panel, it is easy to understand that during its automatic closing, the movement generates significant kinetic energy, particularly at the end of its closing travel. This energy can cause accidents of varying severity, which should be avoided. Therefore, it is common practice to equip such movable panels with systems to slow down their final movement, specifically in the direction of the bay's closure. In the prior art, it has been proposed to implement a hydraulic braking system as described, for example, in French patent FR 2 767 351. However, a hydraulic braking system exhibits variable braking efficiency depending on the temperature of the environment in which it is installed. Therefore, given that such movable panels are installed in environments with large temperature variations, the braking efficiency of such hydraulic systems is frequently impaired. Description of the invention The object of the invention is therefore to remedy the disadvantages of the prior art by proposing a simple and inexpensive device to ensure the opening of a movable panel which is adapted to automatically move from its open position to its closed position, while taking into account the constraints imposed by the fire safety of the movable panel. To achieve this objective, the object of the invention relates to a device for ensuring the opening of a movable panel which is adapted to automatically move from its open position to its closed position, this device comprising: - an electric motor comprising a motor shaft coupled in rotation with a reversible reducer having an output shaft; - a system for transforming the rotational movement of the electric motor into a translational movement of the movable panel so as to allow the movable panel to be moved in translation from its closed position to its open position; - an electric brake mounted to act on the shaft of the electric motor to hold the movable panel in its open position; - a controlled control circuit: # by a control button for opening the movable panel, the actuation of which controls the stopping of the electrobrake and the rotation of the electric motor in order to move the movable panel from its closed position to its open position; * by an opening limit switch sensor, allowing when the movable panel reaches the open position, to control the stopping of the electric motor and the activation of the electrobrake to hold the movable panel in the open position; * by a fire safety system to ensure the deactivation of the electrobrake so that the moving panel automatically and as a priority to any other command order, from its open position to its closed position. Another object of the invention is to propose a system to ensure the opening of a movable panel which is adapted to automatically move from its open position to its closed position, while allowing the closing translation of the movable panel to be slowed down safely regardless of temperature variations in the environment in which the movable panel is installed. To achieve this objective, the device includes a magnetic brake mounted to act on the shaft of the electric motor in order to regulate the closing speed of the movable panel when moving the movable panel from its open position to its closed position. Advantageously, the magnetic brake and the electric motor are sized to allow the opening of the movable panel by the electric motor when the movable panel moves from its closed position to its open position. Preferably, the magnetic brake has an adjustable braking force. Typically, the magnetic brake is of the non-electrically powered eddy current type. According to another embodiment, the system for transforming the rotational movement of the electric motor into a translational movement of the moving panel includes a pulley mounted directly attached to the output shaft of the reversible reducer. Another object of the invention is to provide a mobile panel adapted to automatically move from its open position to its closed position, this panel being equipped with a motorized control device according to the invention, ensuring the opening of the panel and its maintenance in its open position. Brief description of the drawings [fig.1] Fig.1 is an elevation view showing a door equipped with a control device according to the invention, placed in its closed position. [fig.2] Fig.2 is an elevation view showing a door equipped with a control device according to the invention, placed in its open position. [fig.3] Fig.3 is an elevation view showing part of the control device according to the invention. [fig.4] Fig.4 is a view of an electrical diagram of the control device according to the invention. Description of the implementation methods Figures 1 and 2 schematically illustrate a partition 1 separating two rooms that can communicate via an opening 2. This opening creates a large passageway that must be controlled, particularly when safety regulations must be followed. The opening 2 is closed by a door consisting, in the illustrated example, of a panel 3, which moves along a nearly horizontal path, in a closing direction indicated by arrow F1. Typically, the panel 3 is mounted to move automatically, i.e., without a motor, using a gravity-driven system of any type known per se, from its open position shown in [Fig. 2] to its closed position shown in [Fig. 1]. In the illustrated example, panel 3 is suspended by hangers 4 from a rail 5 inclined in the direction of arrow F1 towards the ground, so as to allow for automatic translation, by gravity, of panel 3 in the direction of arrow F1, while a means of locking panel 3 in the open position has been automatically or intentionally deactivated. It should be noted, of course, that the kinetic energy required for the translation of panel 3 in the direction of arrow F1 can also be generated, particularly in the case of a horizontal rail, by means of a counterweight attached to the panel, by means of a cable or similar device wound around a pulley. Such a gravity-based system for automatic closing of the opening 2 will not be described in more detail, as it is well known to those skilled in the art and is not part of the subject matter of the invention. The invention relates more specifically to a motorized control device 10, adapted to open the movable panel 3 and hold it in its open position as illustrated in [Fig. 2]. The device 10 comprises an electric motor 11, connected to the panel 3 via a transmission mechanism 12 adapted to, on the one hand, move the panel 3 from its closed position to its open position and, on the other hand, not interfere with the operation of the automatic closing mechanism of the bay. Typically, the electric motor 11 is of any type known per se to allow the opening of the movable panel 3. As can be seen from the example embodiment illustrated more precisely in Figures 1 to 3, the transmission mechanism 12 comprises a coupled reversible reducer 13 in rotation, at the input, on the motor shaft of the electric motor 11. The reversible reducer 13 has, at the output, an output shaft 14.The transmission mechanism 12 includes a transformation system 15, 16 that converts the rotational motion of the electric motor 11 into a translational motion of the movable panel 3, in the opposite direction to arrow F1. More precisely, the transformation system 15, 16 converts the rotational motion of the output shaft 14 of the reversible gearbox 13 into a translational motion of the movable panel 3, in the opposite direction to arrow F1. In the illustrated example, the motion transformation system includes a pulley 15 or similar device rotatably coupled to the output shaft 14 of the reversible gearbox 13. The pulley 15 cooperates with a cable or similar device 16 of any type known per se. The cable or similar device 16 is intended to be connected to the movable panel 3 in such a way as to allow the movable panel to be moved in translation from its closed position to its open position.Of course, the motion transformation system can be implemented differently from the pulley-cable system described, such as by a rack and pinion system. The reversible gearbox 13 allows, in particular, the reduction of the rotational speed provided by the drive shaft of the electric motor 11 and the reversal of the direction of rotation, since the pulley 15 has an axis of rotation perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the drive shaft of the electric motor 11. Advantageously, the pulley 15 is mounted directly on the output shaft 14 of the reversible gearbox 13. Thus, the rotational coupling between the pulley 15 and the reversible gearbox 13 is achieved directly without the use of bearing systems. Typically, the pulley 15 is mounted on the output shaft 14, for example, by a key and circlip device. This reversible gearbox 13 is designed in any suitable manner to allow rotational movement in both directions between its input and output. This reversible gearbox 13 has a reduction ratio adapted to obtain the desired opening speed for the movable panel 3. The reversible reducer 13 thus transmits the rotational movement of the electric motor 11 to the winding pulley 15 for the cable 16, one end of which is connected to the movable panel 3 and the other end of which is wound on the pulley 15. The rotational control of the electric motor 11 leads to the winding of the cable 16 on the pulley 15, in order to move the movable panel 3 from its closed position to its open position. According to the invention, the device 10 includes an electro-brake 17 mounted to act on the shaft of the electric motor 11 to hold the movable panel in its open position. This electro-brake 17 locks the movable panel 3 in its open position, that is, prevents the translation of the movable panel intended to place this last in its closed position. For example, this electrobrake 17 is of the dynamic brake type. When the movable panel 3 reaches its open position as detected by a limit switch 19, the motor 11 is stopped and the electric brake 17 is activated to hold the movable panel 3 in its open position. The electric brake 17 prevents the movable panel 3 from closing, as it is subject to a gravity-driven movement system such as a counterweight. According to another feature of the invention, the device 10 includes a control circuit 30 for the electric motor 11 and the electrobrake 17, which is directly controlled by a fire safety system 31 (Figure 4). For example, the fire safety system 31 may be a stand-alone triggering detector (DAD) or a fire safety control panel (CMSI). In general, the control circuit 30 is controlled: * by a push button 32 for opening the movable panel 3, the actuation of which controls the stopping of the operation of the electrobrake 17 and the rotation of the electric motor 11 in order to move the movable panel 3 from its closed position to its open position; * by the opening limit switch sensor 19, allowing when the movable panel 3 reaches the open position, to control the stopping of the electric motor 11 and the activation of the electrobrake 17 to maintain the movable panel 3 in the open position; # by the fire safety system 31 allowing the deactivation of the electrobrake 17 so that the mobile panel 3 automatically and as a priority passes to any other command order, from its open position to its closed position. As can be seen more precisely in [Fig. 4], the control circuit 30 comprises two parallel circuit branches. One branch includes a first relay K1M adapted to control the first and second contactors K1MI1 and K1M2 that control the electric brake 17. This first relay K1M is connected in series with the control push button 32. The other branch of the control circuit 30 includes a second relay K2M that controls the first and second contactors K2M1 and K2M2 that control the electric motor 11 and the electric brake 17. This second relay K2M is connected in series with the limit switch 19 and the first control contactor K1M1 of the first relay. It should be noted that the limit switch 19 has a terminal for connection to the circuit branch containing the first relay K1M.Furthermore, the second contactor K1M2 of the first relay has a connection terminal with the second contactor K2M2 of the second relay and is mounted in series with a closing limit switch 36. of the mobile panel, this limit switch 36 includes a terminal for connection with a lighting lamp 36a. The two branches of the control circuit 30 are connected, on the one hand, to a manual release button 35 and, on the other hand, to the fire safety system 31. The control circuit 30 is a low-voltage circuit, supplied directly by the fire safety system 31, allowing, via the contactors K1M2, K2M1, K2M2, the control of the power circuit 37 which supplies the electric motor 11 and the electrobrake 17. The operation of the device 10 follows directly from the preceding description. The opening of the movable panel 3 is achieved by pressing the control push button 32, which simultaneously activates the power supply to the first relay K1M and the second relay K2M (via the first contactor K1M1 of the first relay and the deactivated limit switch 19). The power supply to the first relay K1M causes the first electrical contactor K2M1 of the second relay to close, thus supplying power to the electric motor 11. The closure of the second contactor KIM2 of the first relay and the second contactor K2M2 of the second relay deactivates the electric brake 17. As long as the push button 32 is pressed, the electric motor 11 runs, driving the rotation of the pulley 15, which winds the traction cable 16, leading to the translation of the panel 3 in the opening direction. When the movable panel 3 reaches its open position, the limit switch 19 changes state, cutting off the power supply to the second relay K2M while the first relay K1M remains energized. Consequently, the first contactor K2M1 of the second relay returns to its rest position (as illustrated in [Fig. 4]), thus cutting off the power supply to the motor 11 (even if the push button 32 is held down). Simultaneously, the second contactor K2M2 of the second relay returns to its rest position (as illustrated in [Fig. 4]) while the second contactor K1M2 of the first relay remains energized, so that the electric brake 17 is energized. The electrobrake 17 locks the shaft of the electric motor 11 in rotation and consequently also the pulley 15 which is angularly coupled to the shaft of the electric motor 11, via the reversible reducer 13 which is angularly locked on one side with the pulley 15 and, on the other side with the shaft of the electric motor 11. The movable panel 3 is thus held open by means of the electrobrake 17. When a command to switch to the safety position is sent by the fire safety system 31 (or even by the manual release button 35), the power supply to the electrobrake 17 is cut off by the opening of the second contactor K1M2 of the first relay following the interruption of the power supply to the first relay. K1M. The electrobrake 17 therefore no longer exerts its locking torque on the shaft of the electric motor 11. The pulley 15 is then free to rotate, which allows the panel 3 to close automatically, under the action of the gravity movement system, by unwinding the cable 16. It should be noted that a slight residual torque resulting from the kinematics of the reversible reducer 13 helps to maintain a slight tension on the cable 16 and to prevent too rapid an unwinding which would cause the winding turns of the cable to loosen and risk coming undone outside the pulley 15. Since the command to switch to the fire safety position takes priority over all other commands, the panel 3 is also closed throughout its opening stroke by simultaneously cutting off the power supply to the electric motor 11 and the electro-brake 17, by pressing the manual release button 35. This power cut takes priority, even if the opening control push button 32 is held down. Upon receiving a command to switch to the safety position from the fire safety system, the device 10 remains inactive until the command to switch to the safety position is canceled. It should be noted that the energy, as well as the control and regulation components necessary for closing the movable panel, are completely independent of the device 10. It should also be noted that the opening operation can always be performed manually, regardless of the state of the device 10 according to the invention. Such a device 10 is particularly economical since it does not require any complex assembly or any technically demanding means. Such a device 10 is universal because it can be used regardless of the opening direction of the movable panel or the relative position of this device with respect to it. Indeed, the direction of rotation of the motor is defined by the wiring of its power supply. It should be noted that the device according to the invention can be implemented on new installations as well as on existing installations, without modification of the movable panel. According to an advantageous embodiment, the device 10 includes a magnetic brake 37 mounted to act on the shaft of the electric motor 11 in order to regulate the closing speed of the movable panel during its movement from its closed position to its open position. The magnetic brake 37 allows control of the closing of the movable panel (energy, speed, damping, etc.). It should be noted that this magnetic brake 37 and the electric motor 11 are sized so that the residual torque available at the pulley 15 allows the movable panel 31 to open, that is, for the movable panel 3 to move from its closed position to its open position. Indeed, the magnetic brake 37, which is not controlled by the control circuit 30, constantly acts on the shaft of the electric motor 11. Typically, the braking force exerted on the motor shaft electric ll by this magnetic brake 37 is largely less than the drive torque. Advantageously, this magnetic brake 37 is of the non-electrically powered type. For example, this magnetic brake 37 is of the eddy current type. Preferably, the magnetic brake 37 has a manually adjustable braking force.
