Abstract
The invention relates to a method for preparing a composite material from mineral fibers by impregnating and then crosslinking an aqueous composition. The method of the invention is particularly effective for obtaining a composite possessing structural or insulating properties. The aqueous composition according to the invention comprises a polyfunctional compound combined with an α-sulfonated polymer and a sulfocarboxylic acid.
