Description

Description Title of the invention: Adjustable door hinge FIELD OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to an adjustable door hinge, composed of a lower part and an upper part of the hinge adjustable relative to each other to orient and adjust the axis of the hinge. This adjustment is made on the different hinges fitted to a door. STATE OF THE ART An adjustable door hinge is already known comprising a lower part fixed to the frame, an upper part fixed to the door and a pivot axis fixedly carried by the lower part and received in an adjustable manner by the upper part. PURPOSE OF THE INVENTION The present invention aims to develop an adjustable hinge, simple to install, adjust and lock in the adjustment position. DISCLOSURE AND ADVANTAGES OF THE INVENTION To this end, the invention relates to an adjustable hinge of the type defined above, characterized in that the upper part has an adjustment device comprising: an adjustment screw, with a transverse axis, fixed relative to the upper part by being blocked transversely in the upper part, a thread passing through the axis and into which the adjustment screw is screwed, the screw head being accessible through the wall of the upper part to move the upper part in the direction of the screw by resting on the axis, to adjust the door relative to the frame in the transverse direction. The adjustable door hinge has the advantage of being particularly easy to adjust since this adjustment is made in a single direction, namely the direction which is substantially perpendicular to the reference plane in relation to which this adjustment is made. This reference plane is defined by the frame or door frame so that the adjusted door closes the opening correctly. The adjustment is made on the hinges fitted to the door, either two hinges, or depending on the case, three hinges, or even more. The adjustment is made successively and progressively from one hinge to the next. The adjustment screw is transverse, that is to say it is oriented in the direction of adjustment. Depending on the initial mounting of the hinge, the adjustment is made in one or the other of the two directions defined by the direction of adjustment, that is to say the transverse direction. According to another advantageous characteristic, the hinge has an adjustment device comprising: a translation guide, in the form of a flattened ring having two walls straight lines spaced apart by a distance equal to the diameter of the axis, and two transverse ends in the shape of a semicircle of diameter equal to that of the axis, the guide being crossed longitudinally in the direction by the adjustment screw engaged in the tapping of the axis passing through the translation guide, and the adjustment screw coming to bear against the cavity of the upper part by its head and by means of the transverse end of the translation guide. The ring which constitutes the translation guide and which receives the axis of the hinge, facilitates and clearly defines the adjustment movement of the upper part of the hinge in relation to the lower part installed on the frame and which is in a fixed position. In this adjustment device, the adjustment screw is in fixed support in the cavity of the upper part. This fixed support is made at the level of the screw head both by the support of the screw in the bore which it passes through at the corresponding end of the translation guide and where appropriate also against the inner surface of the cavity, around the bore in the wall of the cavity allowing access to the screw head, that is to say to the impression or slot of the screw head to maneuver the screw from the outside through this passage without the screw head itself being able to pass into this passage. According to another advantageous characteristic, the adjustment device comprises a pivoting bearing formed by a lower ring and an upper ring connected by an axial rib, the two rings receiving the axis being axially spaced apart to receive the translation guide in the double bearing formed by the facing surfaces of the rings, the second part has an axial groove freely receiving the rib. The pivot bearing surrounds the hinge axis with its lower ring and its upper ring and follows the movement of the guide ring and therefore of the upper hinge support only by pivoting around this axis since the geometric axis and the hinge axis are in a fixed position defined by the position of the first part of the hinge. This allows precise adjustment of the second part since it is located in relation to a fixed assembly associated with the first part. According to one feature, the first part comprises a first support and the second part comprises a second support, the supports being composed of a sleeve and a tab. In particular, the supports are sections of profile comprising a sleeve carrying a tab fixed respectively to the frame and to the door. According to another advantageous characteristic, the rings have a front cutout opposite the rib and the second support has at least one thread facing each front clearance for the passage of a locking screw resting on the axis. This front cutout does not reduce the hold of the pivoting bearing on the axis and allows the relative movement of the pivoting bearing in relation to the translation guide while allowing free access to the locking screw associated with each clearance and which is fixed relative to the sleeve since this screw is engaged in the thread of the sleeve. This screw is, preferably, headless, and is freely accessible from the outside of the sleeve when it passes through the wall. According to another advantageous characteristic, the supports are sections of profile comprising a sleeve carrying a fixing lug. This design considerably simplifies the manufacture of the hinge since the two supports are made up of a part of the same profile, this profile being simply turned over to serve as a second support in relation to the orientation of the profile for the first support. The only difference between the two sections of profile is the existence of a drilling to access the adjustment screw and one or two threads for the adjustment locking screw(s), that is to say for locking the sleeve of the first part on the hinge axis. According to an advantageous characteristic, the first support has a socket receiving the axis and carrying lugs to fit into the cavity of the section of the profile forming this support. This sleeve has the advantage of forming the bearing of the fixed orientation axis which pivots relative to the first part since it is secured to the second part once the latter has been adjusted, by the locking screw(s). According to another characteristic, the socket is integral with a lower support coming on top of the sleeve, the sleeve of the second part carrying an upper support attached to the underside of the sleeve and having a transverse oblong hole in the direction of adjustment for the free passage of the axis, the supports ensuring sliding contact between the two parts. This design of the socket with a lower support simplifies the hinge by combining these two functions of socket and internal support. According to another advantageous characteristic, the adjustment device is engaged in the cavity of the section of profile forming the second support having: - an axial groove receiving the rib of the bearing, a drilling in the direction of the adjustment screw to access the screw head without allowing passage and, at least one thread facing a frontal clearance of the pivoting bearing for a screw for locking the translation guide in the adjusted position. Here again, the adjustment device constitutes an assembly which is placed in the multipurpose cavity of the profile, this receiving, as already indicated, the socket of the first part. Brief description of the drawings The present invention will be described hereinafter in more detail with the aid of examples of adjustable hinges shown in the accompanying drawings in which: [Fig.1] schematic perspective view of a door equipped with an adjustable hinge, [Fig.1A] geometric diagram showing the adjustment of the hinge axis in the direction perpendicular or substantially perpendicular to the plane of the door and the frame, [Fig.2] exploded perspective view of the two parts making up the hinge, [Fig.3] sectional view of the upper or lower hinge support, [Fig.4] exploded perspective view of the lower part of the hinge, [Fig.5] axial section of the lower part, [Fig.6] section of the lower part, [Fig.7] exploded perspective view of the upper part of the hinge, [Fig.8] perspective views of the adjustment device, [Fig.9] sectional views of the adjustment device, [Fig.10] Sectional views of three adjustment positions, locked, [Fig.11] Sectional view of another embodiment of the sleeve. DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENTS OF THE INVENTION According to Figures 1 and 2, the invention relates to an adjustable door hinge 100, composed of a first part 1 and a second part 2. In the example presented, the first part 1 is the lower part 1, fixed to the frame B and the second part is the upper part 2, fixed to the door P. Frame B is the door frame that the door is to close or any other reference surface relative to which the position of the door is to be adjusted by translation in the XX direction perpendicular to this reference surface. Axis 3 of the LOO hinge is defined by its geometric axis ZZ ([Fig.1 A]) which is the axis of the hinge in the installed and adjusted position relative to the frame B. The adjustment of the hinge 100 consists of adjusting the position of the upper part 2 of the hinge relative to the axis 3 (axis ZZ) held by the lower part 1. The geometric axis ZZ of the pivot axis 3 is in the correct position but the body of the upper part 2 secured to the door P is in a pivoting position around the axis Z1Z1 and must be moved (A) in the direction (XX) so that the door P is in the correct position (adjusted position). The adjustment is made only in the XX direction perpendicular to the reference plane of the frame B defined by the axes (ZZ, YY) which is also the plane of the door P once adjusted. According to [Fig.2], the lower part 1 consists of a first support, here a lower support 11 with a tab 112 fixed to the frame B and a sleeve 111 receiving the axis 3 to which is connected in an adjustable manner the upper part 2 composed of a second or upper support 21 formed of a sleeve 211 receiving the axis 3 and a tab 212 fixed at gate P. According to a variant, the hinge is screwed and the tabs 112, 212 are replaced by screws carried by the sleeves 111, 211. The lower support 11 and the upper support 21 are sections 200 of the same profile ([Fig.3]). The section of profile 200 has a cavity 201 receiving the lower bearing of the axis 3 and also the adjustment device 300 of the upper part 2. The cavity 201 has a complex section, substantially oval, practically symmetrical with respect to the plane perpendicular to the plane of [Fig.3] according to the trace (XX). The oval contour section has ears in the form of two pairs of sockets 202, 203 in non-symmetrical and non-interchangeable arrangements, for example, in a trapezoidal arrangement; the contour also comprises an axial groove 204 and a straight bottom 205 interrupted in the upper support 21 by a bore 206. The bore 206 of axis XX provides access to a screw whose head rests against the straight bottom 205 which remains around the bore 206. In this example, the sockets of the pairs 202, 203 are spaced apart by a different distance from one pair to the other to distinguish them and not be interchangeable. The cells 202, 203 receive lugs secured to the cover of the underside of the lower support 1 and that of the upper support 2 to fix them in the precise orientation imposed by the two pairs of cells and also the part 24. According to [Fig.4], the lower part 1 consists of the lower support 11 formed by a sleeve 111 and its tab 112 constituted by a profiled section 200. The lower support 11 has its cavity 201 covered by a cover 12 provided with two pairs of lugs 121, 122 to engage in the pairs of cells 202, 203. The two pairs of lugs 121, 122 are positioned precisely according to the orientation that the cover 12 must have relative to the support 11. The lower part 1 comprises a sleeve-shaped axle bearing 13 carrying a top forming a lower support 14 with an orifice 141 for the passage of the axle 3. The sleeve 13 fixes the orientation of the axle 3 (ZZ) on which the upper part 2 of the hinge 100 is adjusted. To fit into the cavity 204 of the profile 200, the outer side of the sleeve 13 comprises: - a main lug 131 to fit into the groove 204, and an opposite truncated lug 131a (visible in [Fig.6]), - lateral lugs 132 for pressing against the two ends of the cavity 201 in the adjustment direction XX, - the lugs 131, 131a, 132 on the lower side of the sleeve 13 are repeated under the lower support 14 to precisely fix the axis ZZ on which the upper part 2 must be adjusted. The lower end of the socket 13 has a blade 133 receiving the two transverse stops 123 of the lower cover 12. In [Fig.4], the adjustment device 300 is shown in the ZZ axis of the lower bearing (sleeve 13, lower support 11). It allows to see the offset in the direction (XX) of the upper support 21 (not shown) linked to the adjustable transverse guide 23 relative to the fixed axis 3 (ZZ). [Fig.5] is an axial section of the lower part 1 showing the positioning of the sleeve 13 in the cavity 201 by the lugs 132 in the lower part of the sleeve 13 and also under the lower support 14 as well as the engagement of the blade 133 in the interval between the tabs 123. The lug 131 and the truncated lug 131a which is diametrically opposite it appear in the sectional view of [Fig.6]. According to [Fig.7], the upper part 2 of the hinge 100 consists of the support 21 which is a section of profile 200 identical to that of the lower part 1, but in the reversed position. The support 21 consists of a sleeve 211 and a fixing lug 212. The underside of the support 21 is closed by an upper support 24 in the form of a plate, provided with two pairs of lugs 241, 242 to be fixed in the pairs of cells 202, 203 and retain it. The lower support 24 has an oblong hole 243 to pass over the (fixed) axis 3. The top of the support 21 is closed by a cover 25 with pairs of lugs 251, 252 housed in the pairs of cells 202, 203. The cavity 201 of the profile forming the sleeve 211 houses the adjustment device 300 of the axis 3; this adjustment is made only in the direction (XX) perpendicular to the plane of the frame (or the frame) B of the door P. The adjustment device 300 consists of a translation guide 23 in the form of a crushed ring of rectangular section, of width equal to the diameter of the axis 3 and ending in small sides in the form of a semicircle of diameter equal to that of the axis a The guide 23 held in the sides (direction XX) of the cavity 201 is received in a pivoting bearing 22 comprising two rings 221, 222 of circular section receiving the axis 3 and coming above and below the translation guide 23, also crossed by the axis 3. The pivot bearing 22 has a dorsal rib 223 housed with play in the axial groove 204 (direction ZZ) of the sleeve 211. The cross-section of the dorsal rib 223 is smaller than that of the groove 204 so that the bearing 22 can pivot and move so that the translation guide 23 and the sleeve 211 in which it is locked move for rectilinear movement. (XX) adjustment relative to axis 3. The translation guide 23 moves relative to the axis as shown in [Fig.10] showing the extreme positions and an intermediate position. According to figures 7, 8, 9, the adjustment device 300 consists of the axis 3 provided with a transverse thread 31 to receive an adjustment screw 32. The translation guide 23 (part B of [Fig.9]) is a pseudo-elliptical ring forming an adjustment range 230 delimited by two straight sides 231 joined by ends 232 in the shape of a semicircle of diameter equal (with play) to that of the axis 3. Along the major axis (direction XX), the ends of the translation guide 23 are crossed by holes 233, 234, one of which (233) is flared to receive the countersunk head 322 of the screw 32 ([Fig.7]); the screw 32 rotates freely in the holes 232, 233 of the translation guide 23. The length of the straight sides 231 defines the possible adjustment stroke of the axis 3 in the adjustment range 230. The imprint 324 of the screw head 322 is accessible from the outside of the sleeve 211 through the bore 206 of the sleeve 211 ([Fig.9]). The flat head 322 provided with an imprint 323 rests against the right bottom 205 around the bore 206 and moves the translation guide 23 secured to the sleeve 21 and the upper support 2, relative to the axis 3. Depending on the available clearance, the axial ends XX of the guide 23, although crossed by the holes 233, 234, are pressed against the corresponding parts of the cavity 201 to secure the translation movement of the guide 23 to the sleeve 211; the head of the screw only slightly presses against the straight bottom 205 and the end 321 is guided in the hole 234 by the support of the conical screw head 322 in the conical hole 233 of the translation guide 23 or in a counterbore made in this hole 233 in the case of a flat screw head. This positioning makes it possible to easily turn the screw 32 for adjustment. The adjusting screw 32 may also have, as indicated, a flat head with a recess 324. This flat head is then engaged in a counterbore of the bore 233 so as not to protrude, preferably, from the circular contour of the translation guide 23 while being retained by the straight bottom 205 around the bore 206 through which the screwdriver passes to adjust the translation guide 23 and the sleeve 21. [Fig.8] in its parts A and B shows the adjustment device 300 according to two perspective views in two perpendicular orientations. Part B thus shows the side of the pivoting bearing 22 opposite its rib 223. The fronts of the two rings 221, 222 each have a cutout 2210, 2220 of axis YY for the passage of locking screws 2112 ([Fig.7]). The cutouts are wide enough so that the pivoting of the bearing 22 relative to the axis 3 allows the screws 2112 to come against the axis 3 and thus lock the adjusted position of the guide 23 and the sleeve 211 with which it is integral. These screws 2112 are screwed into the sleeve 211 and come to bear directly against the axis 3 above and below the guide 23. This support and this blocking fix the adjusted position of the translation guide 23 and the lower support 21 relative to the fixed axis 3 whatever this position of the guide 23 relative to the axis XX. [Fig.9] shows in its part A, the adjustment device 300 cut by a plane passing through the adjustment axis XX and the screw 32 engaged in the tapping 31 of the axis 3. The screw passes through the guide 23 as well as the pivoting bearing 22 whose rib 223 is cut. Part B shows the guide 23 alone and part C shows the screw 32 engaged in the tapping 31 of the axis 3. Part D shows the upper support 2 cut by a plane passing through the adjustment axis XX. Parts A, D, CÇ of [Fig.10] show three adjustment positions of the upper support 21 relative to the axis 3: - an extreme forward position (+À) to the left (part A), - a substantially median or intermediate position (A=0) in (part D) - an extreme backward position (-À) to the right (part C). [Fig. 11] shows, in its parts A, B, C, D, a variant of the adjustment device 300 described above. This variant of adjustment device 300a differs from the embodiment in particular of figures 8, 9, 10 by the external shape of the translation guide. For this reason, the same numerical references will be used as in this embodiment already described and only the modified elements will bear the same numerical references supplemented by the suffix (a). The new elements will bear references also ending with the suffix a. Thus, according to part B, the translation guide 23a delimits an adjustment range 230 identical to that of the adjustment guide 23: it is delimited by two straight sides 231 and curved ends similar to a cylindrical surface with a semi-circular section. The end of the translation guide 23a provided with the milled bore 233 has a flattened surface 235a promoting the support of the translation guide 23a against the straight, widened bottom 205a of the cavity 201 of the sleeve 21. The other end of the guide 23a surrounds the bore 234 by a collar 236a forming a flat surface 237a around the bore 234 to bear against the part of the bottom of the cavity 201 between the pair of cells 122. As in the first embodiment, the end 221 of the screw 32 is guided freely in the bore 234 while remaining set back from the surface 237a and the wall opposite the cavity 201. In this embodiment of the translation guide 23a, the sides 231 continue by a straight extension 231a up to the bearing surface 235a. The translation guide 23a thus has an external U-shape making it possible to reinforce the surroundings of the milled hole 233 and the support by the surface 235a to receive the forces transmitted by the movement of the hinge. As in the embodiment of [Fig.9], part A here shows the assembled adjustment device 300a and part D shows the adjustment device 300a installed in the sleeve 21. In summary, in this embodiment, the straight bottom 205a is widened to form a bearing surface around the screw head 322 to receive the bearing surface 235a formed by the extensions 231a of the straight sides 231 of the crushed ring constituting the translation guide 23a.
