Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: motorized sun lounger equipped with an intelligent solar tracking device
[0001] Born from the observation that one must manually move one's sun lounger during tanning sessions to optimize exposure, the idea of a sun lounger that could be electrically and automatically oriented without having to get up could appeal to many people.
[0002] This sun lounger will be equipped with a motorized system creating a horizontal rotation movement that will allow the user to turn the bed to the desired angle. The sun lounger would be constructed from a lightweight but strong aluminum frame, with comfortable cushions made of UV-resistant fabric. The rotation system would be located in the base of the bed, and would be equipped with a rechargeable battery to allow for cordless use. The sun lounger would also have a removable headrest for added comfort when rotating. To control the rotation, there would be a small control panel on one side of the bed, allowing the user to turn the bed in the desired direction. The design would be modern and elegant, with neutral colors to suit all outdoor environments. The sun lounger would also be equipped with a retractable hood to protect the user from the sun, should the need arise.
[0003] A smart solar tracking device is an electronic device that, coupled with solar sensors, will operate a motor in the direction of the sun, and thereby perfectly align the solar sensors in the direction of the sun to optimize the efficiency of the solar sensors. See [Fig.l].
[0004] A sun lounger equipped with a smart sun tracker works by using solar tracking technology. The smart sun tracker is an electronic device that tracks the sun's path across the sky in real time. It automatically adjusts the angle and position of the solar panel to always orient the surface capturing the sun's rays towards the optimal sunlight direction. In this way, the sun lounger equipped with a smart sun tracker is able to orient itself to face the sun and also optimize the energy efficiency of converting the sun's rays into electrical energy.
[0005] In a sun lounger equipped with a smart solar tracking device, the solar panel is installed on a part of the sun lounger such as the armrests, which tracks the position of the sun throughout the day. As the sun moves across the sky, the solar tracking system reorients the solar panel so that it always faces the sun. This means that the solar panel is always exposed at the optimal angle to absorb the maximum amount of sunlight.
[0006] The operation of a sun lounger equipped with a smart solar tracking device can significantly increase photovoltaic energy production by capturing more sunlight than fixed panels. This technology is used for large-scale solar installations to maximize energy efficiency.
[0007] The sun lounger has a battery power supply, said battery is recharged by the solar panels, and this battery which operates the intelligent solar tracking device and is used to rotate the sun lounger thanks to the electric motorization. The sun lounger can be oriented by the motorization operated manually by means of a control panel on one of the sides of the bed, or automatically by means of the intelligent solar tracking device which would position the bed ideally and automatically facing the sun.
[0008] The bed can be designed in two ways, either a round bed which would rest on a round base, the upper part of the bed pivoting on a vertical central axis, and which could be suitable for two people, or a single bed approximately one meter wide by two meters long resting on a square base (Bc), on which would pivot a round board (Rd) or disc one meter in diameter by 3 centimeters thick in aluminum extended by a rectangular board (Rc) one meter long by 30 centimeters wide and 3 centimeters thick, welded to the round board or disc by one of its edges and at the end of the rectangular board an electric motor block surmounted by a wheel (M) arranged perpendicular to the direction of the length of the board. The square base is fixed relative to the ground and it is the round board which rests on a ball bearing which will pivot and orient the bed depending on whether the manipulation is manual or determined automatically by the intelligent solar tracking device (St).
[0009] The electric motor unit (M) topped with a wheel connected to the intelligent solar tracking device will rotate the bed 360° horizontally to align it facing the sun.
[0010] The photosensitive probes of the intelligent solar tracking device can be arranged on the inclined part of the armrests, aligned with the solar sensors (Cs) supplying energy. See [Fig.l].
[0011] The electric mechanism for adjusting the backrest of a sun lounger consists of an electric motor that is connected to a linear gear. The motor is powered by an electrical energy source and it operates the linear gear that is connected to a threaded rod. When the motor is activated, the threaded rod moves and causes the lead screw to rotate. This rotation in turn causes the backrest of the sun lounger to move vertically.
[0012] A remote control can be used to activate the electric mechanism and adjust the backrest of the sun lounger according to the user's preferences. Some models may also have a memory function that allows you to memorize the preferred positions of the backrest.
[0013] The electric mechanism can be installed in different types of sunbeds, whether made of wood, metal or plastic. It is often used in professional tanning salons, but it can also be used in sunbeds for home use for relaxation and tanning purposes.
[0014] In summary, this electric mechanism for adjusting the backrest of a sun lounger is a practical and comfortable solution for users who wish to adjust their position and posture effortlessly.
Claims
Claims
1. Sun lounger comprising equipment intended to automatically optimize the sunshine of a sun lounger, equipped with an electronic solar tracking device, solar panels, rechargeable batteries as well as electric motors allowing the sun lounger to be oriented 360 degrees and the backrest of the sun lounger to be raised or lowered without the user needing to move.
2. Device according to claim 1, the sun lounger pivots horizontally 360° degrees depending on the position of the sun thanks to the electric motor which equips the horizontal movement system with which the sun lounger is equipped, as well as thanks to the electronic solar tracking device.
3. Device according to claim 1, a control panel allows to deactivate the automatic solar tracking and to manually carry out the 360° horizontal electric rotation of the sun lounger according to the user's needs.
4. Device according to claims 1 and 2, there are two types of sun lounger with 360° horizontal rotation, one single-person and the other multi-person, depending on the model the 360° horizontal electric rotation of the sun lounger is different. These sun loungers can be designed in a light metal such as aluminum. For the multi-person model, the sun lounger is round in shape resting on a base of the same shape, an electric motor fixed on a central axis allows the sun lounger to rotate horizontally 360° degrees. For the single-person model, of classic rectangular shape, on a square base of one meter on each side, 40 centimeters high, which at its top receives a ball bearing of 80 cms in diameter on which is placed a disc of the same diameter as the width of the square base, this disc of 3 centimeters thick is extended by a board of the same height as said disc, this board measures 30 centimeters wide by one meter long.
