[0028] The invention relates to an electric liquid pump comprising:

[0029] - a waterproof housing 1 comprising a lower casing 2, a top casing upper envelope 3, and a separating envelope 4 delimiting with said lower envelope 2 a first compartment 5 and with the upper envelope 3 a second compartment 6,

[0032] - an annular rotor arrangement 12 comprising at least one magnet 13 and being housed in the second compartment 6 above a separating wall 14 of the separating envelope 4 at the level of an annular zone 15,

[0033] - a turbine 16 housed in the second compartment 6 supporting said at least one magnet 13 and being rotatably mounted on a rotation shaft 17 mounted on a central part 18 of the separating wall 14 located centrally to the stator annular arrangement 9 and to the rotor annular arrangement 12 to rotate the liquid according to a main flow Fl in the second compartment 6,

[0034] - the upper casing 3 comprising a main liquid inlet 19 configured to allow the circulation of a main incoming flow FE and a main liquid outlet 20 configured to allow the circulation of a main outgoing flow FS,

[0035] said electric liquid pump is characterized in that it further comprises:

[0036] - at least three intra-coil liquid flow members 21 arranged in said predetermined intra-coil spaces E, said intra-coil liquid flow members 21 being configured to be capable of being supplied by a secondary flow F2 derived from the main flow F1.

[0037] Advantageously, this configuration makes it possible to improve the cooling within the electric liquid pump. Indeed, thanks to the intra-coil liquid flow members 21 it is possible to direct the secondary flow F2 which derives from the main flow F1 between the coils B to cool them and thus more generally cool the stator annular arrangement 9.

[0038] Preferably, the secondary flow F2 is formed at least by a portion of the main flow F1 flowing in a liquid passage 22 located between the annular rotor arrangement 12 and the annular zone 15 of the separating wall 14.

[0039] Advantageously, this liquid passage 22 located between the annular rotor arrangement 12 and the annular zone 15 allows the circulation of the secondary flow F2 in the second compartment 6.

[0040] Preferably, the intra-coil liquid flow members 21 extend longitudinally in a radial direction DR perpendicular to an axial direction DA of the rotation shaft 17.

[0041] Advantageously, this radial configuration of the liquid flow members 21 makes it possible to direct the secondary flow F2 radially into the intra-coil space E and therefore to cool the part of the coils B located close to the liquid flow members 21.

[0042] Preferably, the intra-coil liquid flow members 21 extend in depth parallel to the axial direction DA over a depth P greater than or equal to the height H of the winding of turns 11.

[0043] Advantageously, this radial configuration of the liquid flow members 21 makes it possible to direct the secondary flow F2 radially and over a certain height in the intra-coil space E and therefore to cool the part of the coils B located near the liquid flow members 21, namely the entire height of the winding of turns 11 located near the liquid flow members 21.

[0044] It should be noted that if the stator annular arrangement 9 comprises end plates 31 covering each coil B then preferably, the depth P is equal to the height of the winding of turns 11 and to the thickness el of the end plate 31.

[0045] Preferably, the intra-coil liquid flow members 21 each comprise a central outlet 23 which opens into the central part 18 of the separating wall 14.

[0046] Advantageously, this configuration makes it possible to further improve the cooling within the electric liquid pump. Indeed, thanks to this arrangement it is possible to direct the secondary flow F2 which derives from the main flow F1 and which comes from the liquid flow members 21 into the central part 18 which makes it possible to centrally improve the cooling of the stator annular arrangement 9.

[0047] Preferably, the central part 18 comprises a bottom 24 arranged opposite and at a distance from the heat transfer plate 8 and mounted thereon so as to form a sealed cooling chamber 25, the bottom 24 being provided with a plurality of liquid inlet openings 26 whose dimensions are chosen to allow adjustment of the flow rate of the secondary flow F2 and a central liquid outlet opening 27.

[0048] Advantageously, this configuration makes it possible to further improve the cooling within the electric liquid pump. Indeed, thanks to this arrangement it is possible to direct the secondary flow F2 which derives from the main flow F1 and which comes from the central part 18 into the sealed cooling chamber 25 which makes it possible to improve the cooling of the electronic unit 7.

[0049] Preferably, the central portion 18 comprises a hollow central conduit 28 extending longitudinally along the axial direction DA opening onto the central liquid outlet opening 27 of the bottom 24 at a first end and opening onto a mounting zone 29 of the rotation shaft 17 at a second end, the rotation shaft 17 being hollow and opening into the center of the turbine 16.

[0050] Advantageously, this configuration makes it possible to further improve the cooling within the electric liquid pump. Indeed, thanks to this arrangement it is possible to direct the secondary flow F2 which derives from the main flow F1 and which comes from the sealed cooling chamber 25 into the hollow central duct 28, then into the hollow rotation shaft 17 so that it flows into the main flow F1 at the center of the turbine 16, which makes it possible to centrally improve the cooling of the stator annular arrangement 9 and to form a plurality of fluid bypass loops each conducting the secondary flow F2 in parallel with the main flow F1.

[0051] Preferably, the annular zone 15 of the separating wall 14 integrates the intra-coil liquid flow members 21, the annular rotor arrangement 12 and the annular stator arrangement 9 being arranged on either side of the annular zone 15.

[0052] Advantageously, this configuration makes it easier to design.

[0053] Preferably, the intra-coil liquid flow members 21 are formed by channels open on the side of the annular rotor arrangement 12 so as to allow them to be supplied by the secondary flow F2.

[0054] Advantageously, this arrangement makes it possible to facilitate the flow of the secondary flow F2 towards the channels.

[0055] Preferably, the stator annular arrangement 9 comprises an annular plate 30, arranged above the heat transfer plate 8, having a first internal diameter DU and on which the cylindrical cores 10 are mounted and the stator annular arrangement 9 comprises end plates 31 covering each coil B, being spaced apart by a predetermined inter-plate interval I and all of the end plates 31 having a second internal diameter DI2 smaller than the first internal diameter DU, the first diameter DI of the central part 18 being smaller than the second internal diameter DI2 and the first internal diameter of the.

[0056] Advantageously, the end plates 31 make it possible to concentrate the flux of the magnets 13 and to increase the first internal diameter DU of the annular plate 30. The end plates 31 thus allow an increase in the first diameter DI of the central part 18, which makes it possible to centrally improve the cooling of the stator annular arrangement 9 and an improvement in the motor efficiency.

[0057] Preferably, the annular rotor arrangement 12 has a third diameter internal D13 substantially equal to the second internal diameter DI2 of the set of end plates 31.

[0058] Preferably, the intra-coil liquid flow members 21 consist of channels or grooves or conduits.

[0059] Preferably, the sealed housing 1, said lower envelope 2, said upper envelope 3, and said separating envelope 4 are made of polymer material such as plastic.

[0060] Said electronic unit 7 preferably comprises at least one electronic card on which a set of electronic components is integrated.

[0061] The heat transfer plate 8 is preferably made of a material having good thermal conduction, such as aluminum. The heat transfer plate 8 also contributes to discharging heat from the stator annular arrangement 9 and to discharging heat from the electronic unit 7.

[0062] Preferably, the electric liquid pump comprises a plurality of heat transfer plates 8, for example a lower plate arranged below an upper plate, this example is not illustrated. In this case, the upper plate makes it possible to evacuate the heat coming from the stator annular arrangement 9 and the lower plate makes it possible to evacuate the heat coming from the electronic unit 7. Preferably, the lower plate may comprise cooling channels arranged in its thickness intended to allow the circulation of the liquid from the secondary flow F2 and to improve the evacuation of the heat coming from the electronic unit 7.

[0063] The stator annular arrangement 9 preferably comprises six equidistant cylindrical cores 10 and on each of which a winding of turns 11 is wound to form six coils B. Preferably, the six coils B are mounted on the annular plate 30 at the mounting surface which is for example made of SMC (Soft magnetic composite) with an internal diameter of 30 millimeters and an external diameter of 60 millimeters. Preferably, the six coils B are each surmounted by end plates 31 which are preferably made of SMC with an internal diameter of 26 millimeters and an external diameter of 60 millimeters and for example of trapezoidal shape. The first internal diameter DU is preferably 30 millimeters.

[0064] The height H is preferably 7 millimeters.

[0065] The thickness el is preferably 3 millimeters.

[0066] The second internal diameter DI2 is preferably 26 millimeters.

[0067] Said annular rotor arrangement 12 preferably comprises eight magnets 13. Each magnet 13 preferably has an internal diameter of 26 millimeters and an external diameter of 50 millimeters. The inter-magnet distance between two adjacent magnets is preferably 4 millimeters.

[0068] The third internal diameter D13 is preferably 50 millimeters.

[0069] The electromagnetic interaction between the stator annular arrangement 9 and the rotor annular arrangement 12 makes it possible to form a magnetic flux which is parallel to the axial direction DA. The electric water pump has an axial flux motor structure.

[0070] Preferably, the separating wall 14 comprises, starting from the axial direction DA towards the radial direction DR, the central part 18 extended from a first external wall 32 by the annular zone 15. The annular zone 15 of the separating wall 14 extends in a plane orthogonal to the first external wall 32 and ends with an annular shoulder E followed by a second external wall 32' concentric with the first external wall 32 of the separating envelope 4.

[0071] The turbine 16 allows the liquid to rotate and may comprise a plurality of blades or equivalent.

[0072] The main liquid inlet 19 preferably comprises an inlet duct formed in the upper casing 3, for example of generally cylindrical shape, the longitudinal axis of which extends in the axial direction DA. This inlet duct makes it possible to bring the main incoming flow FE into the interior of the second compartment 6 in the axial direction DA.

[0073] The main liquid outlet 20 preferably comprises an outlet duct formed in the upper casing 3, for example of generally cylindrical shape, the longitudinal axis of which extends orthogonally to the axial direction DA. This outlet duct makes it possible to bring the main outgoing flow FS out of the electric water pump orthogonally to the axial direction DA.

[0074] Preferably, the electric liquid pump comprises six intra-coil liquid flow members 21. An intra-coil liquid flow member 21 preferably has a length of between 5 millimeters and 15 millimeters and a depth P of between 10 millimeters and 20 millimeters and preferably equal to 15 millimeters.

[0075] The central outlet 23 preferably has the shape of a window or a notch.

[0076] The bottom 24 preferably comprises six liquid inlet openings 26. A liquid inlet opening 26 preferably has a circular shape and has a diameter of 1 millimeter.

[0077] The central liquid outlet opening 27 preferably has a circular shape and has a diameter of 5 millimeters.

[0078] The hollow central conduit 28 is preferably cylindrical and has a diameter of 3 millimeters.

[0079] The mounting zone 29 is preferably cylindrical and has a diameter allowing the rotation shaft 17 to be received by fitting, preferably having a diameter of 8 millimeters.

[0080] The liquid is preferably coolant.

[0081] The invention also relates to a motor vehicle comprising an electric liquid pump characterized in that the electric liquid pump is according to the invention and as described previously.

[0082] Figures 1 and 2 illustrate the electric liquid pump according to the invention in section, the section being made at the level of two intra-coil liquid flow members in the intra-coil space E in [Fig.l] and the section being made at the level of two coils B in [Fig.2].

[0083] [Fig.l] illustrates more particularly that the main liquid inlet 19 allows the circulation of the incoming main flow FE of liquid coming from outside the electric liquid pump towards the second compartment 6 in which the liquid is then rotated by the turbine 16 so as to generate the main flow F1 and that the main liquid outlet 20 allows the circulation of the outgoing main flow FS of liquid coming from the main flow F1 of the second compartment 6 towards the outside of the electric liquid pump. The incoming main flow FE and the outgoing main flow FS have orthogonal directions. [Fig.l] also shows two intra-coil liquid flow members 21 which extend longitudinally in a radial direction DR perpendicular to the axial direction DA of the rotation shaft 17 out of a total of six intra-coil liquid flow members 21.The intra-coil liquid flow members 21 are part of the annular zone 15 of the separating wall 14. In this example, the intra-coil liquid flow members 21 are in the form of channels open at their upper end. The two intra-coil liquid flow members 21 are supplied by the secondary flow F2 derived from the main flow FL. This secondary flow F2 is formed by a portion of the main flow FL flowing in the liquid passage 22 located between the rotor annular arrangement 12 and the annular zone 15 of the separating wall 14. In the intra-coil liquid flow members 21, the secondary flow F2 flows towards the rotation shaft 17. The two intra-coil liquid flow members 21 each further comprise a central outlet 23 which opens into the central part 18 of the separating wall 14.Thus, the secondary flow F2 which derives from the main flow F1 then flows into the central part 18. The central part 18 comprises the bottom 24 arranged opposite and at a distance from the heat transfer plate 8 and mounted thereon so as to form the sealed cooling chamber 25. The bottom 24 is provided with a plurality of liquid inlet openings (not visible) and the central liquid outlet opening 27. Thus, the secondary flow F2 which derives from the main flow F1 then flows into the sealed cooling chamber 25. The central part 18 is crossed by the hollow central conduit 28 which extends longitudinally. in the axial direction DA and opens onto the central liquid outlet opening 27 of the bottom 24 at a first end and opens onto a mounting area 29 of the rotation shaft 17 at a second end, the rotation shaft 17 being hollow and opening at the center of the turbine 16 in the second compartment 6. Thus, the secondary flow F2 which derives from the main flow F1 then flows from the sealed cooling chamber 25 towards the hollow central conduit 28 then towards the hollow rotation shaft 17 in the axial direction DA until it reaches the center of the turbine 16 and thus opens into the main flow F1.

[0084] Figures 3 and 4 illustrate a part of the stator annular arrangement 9 according to one possibility of the invention. These figures 3 and 4 show four cylindrical cores 10 intended to each receive a winding of turns 11 out of a total of six cylindrical cores 10. The stator annular arrangement 9 comprises the annular plate 30 on which the cylindrical cores 10 are mounted in a direction orthogonal to the mounting surface of the annular plate 30. These figures 3 and 4 further show end plates 31 covering each of the cylindrical cores 10. The annular plate 30 and the end plates 31 are arranged in parallel planes. The end plates 31 covering each coil B are spaced apart by a predetermined inter-plate interval I and have a thickness el.

[0085] [Fig.5] illustrates a part of the stator annular arrangement 9 according to the pos sibility of the invention illustrated in the preceding figures and the annular rotor arrangement 12 which are coaxial. The annular plate 30 has a first internal diameter DU and the set of end plates 31 have a second internal diameter DI2. The annular rotor arrangement 12 has a third internal diameter D13 substantially equal to the second internal diameter DI2 of the set of end plates 31.

[0086] [Fig.6] illustrates a part of the stator annular arrangement 9 according to the pos sibility of the invention illustrated in the preceding figures and the annular rotor arrangement 12 and are separated by the separating casing 4. More particularly, the annular rotor arrangement 12 is arranged above the annular zone 15 without resting on it to allow its rotation and to provide the passage of liquid 22 and the annular stator arrangement 9 is arranged under the annular zone 15 with the end plates 31 in contact with it. The central part 18, the annular stator arrangement 9 and the annular rotor arrangement 12 are coaxial. In addition, the first diameter DI of the central part 18 is less than the second internal diameter DI2 of the annular plate 30 and the first internal diameter DU of all the end plates 31.

[0087] Figures 7 and 8 illustrate a part of the sealed housing 1, namely the lower casing 2 and the separating casing 4 seen from above. The separating casing 4 is mounted on the lower casing 2. The separating wall 14 comprises, starting from the axial direction DA towards the radial direction DR, the central part 18 extended from a first external wall 32 by the annular zone 15. The annular zone 15 of the separating wall 14 extends in a plane orthogonal to the first external wall 32 and ends with an annular shoulder E followed by a second external wall 32' concentric with the first external wall 32 of the separating casing 4. These figures illustrate the six intra-coil liquid flow members 21 which each extend longitudinally in a radial direction DR perpendicular to the axial direction DA of the rotation shaft 17 while being equidistant and which form part of the annular zone 15 of the separating wall 14.The six intra-coil liquid flow members 21 are in the form of channels open at their upper end which open into the central part 18 via their central outlet 23 at the first external wall 32 of the central part 18. The central part 18 is cylindrical, with a cylinder axis in the axial direction DA, and hollow and is concentrically traversed by the hollow central duct 28 extended by the mounting area 29 which is also hollow. The central part 18 is open at an upper end and closed by the bottom 24 at its lower end. Six equidistant radial reinforcements 33 orthogonally connect the first external wall 32 to the hollow central duct 28 and to the mounting area 29. This configuration results in the formation of six axial ducts 34 extending parallel to the axial direction DA which are closed by the bottom 24.Each axial conduit 34 communicates upstream with an intra-coil liquid flow member 21 via the central outlet 23 and opens downstream via a liquid inlet opening 26.

[0088] Figures 9 and 10 illustrate a part of the sealed housing 1, namely the upper casing 3 and the separating casing 4, seen from below. The separating casing 4 is mounted on the upper casing 3. These figures illustrate that the six intra-coil liquid flow members 21, which are in the form of channels, are closed at their lower end by a base 35 and extend in depth parallel to the axial direction DA over the depth P. Six free spaces, each located respectively between two adjacent intra-coil liquid flow members 21, allow each to receive a coil B and are on the side of the first compartment 5. The annular zone 15 has a shape at this location allowing to receive an end plate 31.Furthermore, the bottom 24 of the central part 18 is bordered by a circular peripheral edge 36 intended to partially delimit the sealed cooling chamber 25 and to be mounted on the heat transfer plate 8, for example by fitting. The peripheral edge 36 has for this purpose a groove 37 which can be inserted into a rib of corresponding shape.

[0089] [Fig. 11] illustrates the part of the waterproof housing 1 illustrated in Figures 9 and 10 associated to the annular stator arrangement 9. The annular stator arrangement 9 comprises six cylindrical cores 10 each comprising a winding of turns 11 forming six coils B spaced from each other each by the predetermined intra-coil space E. The annular stator arrangement 9 comprises the annular plate 30 on which the six cylindrical cores 10 are mounted in the direction orthogonal to the mounting surface of the annular plate 30. The six free spaces located respectively between two adjacent intra-coil liquid flow members 21 each receive a coil B on the side of the first compartment 5. The annular plate 30 is arranged parallel to the annular zone 15 between the first external wall 32 and the second external wall 32'.

[0090] [Fig. 12] illustrates an alternative stator annular arrangement 9 to that shown in Figures 1 to 11 but which is compatible with the configuration of the electric liquid pump according to the invention and described in relation to Figures 1 to 11. The difference of this stator annular arrangement lies in the shape of the extremal plates 31 which is hexagonal with rounded corners whereas in Figures 1 to 11, shows a general triangular shape with a curved side and rounded corners.

[0091] Of course, the invention is not limited to the embodiments described and shown in the attached drawings. Modifications remain possible, in particular from the point of view of the constitution of the various elements or by substitution of technical equivalents, without departing from the scope of protection of the invention.
