Abstract

Anti-shadow rebate device for a frame displaying artwork on a transparent support. The invention relates to the creation of a rebate at the back of the frame and at the rear end, allowing for the insertion of a transparent structure at the back of the frame, aligned with the back of the frame. Thus, when the frame is hung, as it is flush against the wall, the opening also becomes flush against the wall and does not reflect the artwork on the transparent support. Description

Title of the invention: ANTI-SHADE FRAME

[0001] the present invention relates to a device for removing the shadow projected from a graphic or written representation produced on a transparent or translucent support positioned in a frame hung and placed on a wall.

[0002] Currently, the rebate processes used to hold a work in a frame (painting, poster, etc.) are only designed for the positioning of elements in solid or opaque material without transparency.

[0003] Current frames do not allow the installation of transparent supports without having the projection of a shadow of the graphic or written representation projected on the wall when the frame is hung on a wall.

[0004] The device according to the invention makes it possible to eliminate the shadow cast by all works produced on a transparent support, whether or not illuminated by direct or indirect light when the work is hung and placed on the wall.

[0005] the work thus positioned according to the device of the invention at the right of the outer end of the frame allows the hanging frame to be placed against the wall, thereby placing the work as close as possible to the wall, preventing any projection of shadows.

[0006] the invention therefore eliminates any shadow projected on the wall

[0007] This anti-shadow device can be made on all types of frames regardless of the thickness, shape, or material of the frame. This anti-shadow device is valid for all works made on a transparent support (PVC, Glass, Crystal, Polycarbonate, “Plexiglas®” and any support that projects a shadow through said support.

[0008] The attached drawings illustrate the invention

[0009] [Fig-1] represents the back of an anti-shadow frame, the bottom of the frame receiving the specific anti-shadow rebate, the transparent work held by turntables in its rebate allowing the work to be hung against the wall.

Claims

Claims

1. Device for placing a work produced on a transparent support at the outer end of a frame in order to prevent the projection of a shadow of the work on the wall when the frame is hung on a wall. The transparent support thus held at the rear end of the frame, the work remains readable without a shadow projected on the wall receiving the frame.

2. Device according to claim 1 characterized in that a rebate is positioned at the bottom of the frame and in the external alignment of the frame to support the transparent work.

3. Rebate device according to claim 1 characterized for all transparent supports and all thicknesses.

4. Rebate device according to claim 1 characterized by the adaptation to any type of frame wishing to present a transparent structure.
