Title of the invention: Packaging assembly for a pair of windshield wiper blades
[0001] The technical context of the present invention is that of the packaging of windshield wiper blades. More particularly, the invention relates to a packaging assembly for a pair of windshield wiper blades.
[0002] Wiping systems for motor vehicles are designed to remove, by sweeping, liquids and dirt present on a glass surface, such as for example a windshield for example, and likely to disturb a driver of such motor vehicles in his detection of a wheel scene or his environment.
[0003] Such known wiping systems generally comprise a drive arm which performs an angular back-and-forth movement, at the end of which is connected a windscreen wiper blade equipped with a scraper blade formed of an elastic material, or even rubber. In a known manner, the windscreen wiper blade comprises a connector for coupling said windscreen wiper blade to the drive arm. Claims
1. Packaging assembly (1) for a pair of windshield wiper blades (10A, 10B), the packaging assembly (1) comprising: - a first wiper blade (10A) extending along a specific elongation axis (01) and comprising a scraping blade (101) held by at least one vertebra between two end caps, and a connector (104) intended to allow mechanical coupling with a drive arm; - a second wiper blade (10B) extending along the proper elongation axis (01) and comprising a scraping blade (101) held by at least one vertebra between two end caps, and a connector (104) intended to allow mechanical coupling with a drive arm; - a first sheath (1 IA) integral with the first wiper blade (10A), the first sheath (11A) extending along the proper elongation axis (01) and comprising a first bottom wall (11 IA) located at the level of the scraper blade (101) of the first wiper blade (10A) and first lateral edges (112A) extending on either side of the first bottom wall (11 IA); - a second sheath (11B) integral with the second wiper blade (10B), the second sheath (11B) extending along the proper elongation axis (01) and comprising a second bottom wall (11 IB) located at the level of the scraper blade (101) of the first wiper blade (10A) and second lateral edges (112B) extending on either side of the second bottom wall (11 IB);- a tightening strap (13) extending around the first sheath (1 IA) and the second sheath (1 IB) at the level of at least one of the connectors (104) of the wiper blades (10A, 10B), so as to keep the first sheath (1 IA) pressed against the second sheath (11B); characterized in that, at one axial end, the first bottom wall (11 IA) of the first sheath (1 IA) is connected to the second bottom wall (11 IB) of the second sheath (1 IB) by a tab (12).
2. Packaging assembly (1) according to the preceding claim, in which the tab (12) is made of a material with the first scabbard (1 IA) and the second scabbard (1 IB).
3. Packaging assembly (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, in which the tab (12) forms a flexible hinge.
4. Packaging assembly (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, in which the second bottom wall (11 IB) of the second sheath (1 IB) bears against the first bottom wall (111 A) of the first sheath (1 IA).
5. Packaging assembly (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 4, in which the first sheath (11 A) and the second sheath (11 B) have a transverse “U” profile.
6. Packaging assembly (1) according to the preceding claim, in which the first lateral edges (112A) and the second lateral edges (112B) have a free edge (110) located at a base (102) of the corresponding scraping blade (101).
7. Packaging assembly (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the first side edges (112A) and the second side edges (112B) are located in an intermediate position between a leading edge (114) of the corresponding deflector (103) and a side of the base (102) of the corresponding scraper blade (101).

Packaging assembly (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 4, in which the first sheath (11 A) and the second sheath (11 B) have a stepped transverse profile, the first sheath (11 A) and the second sheath (11 B) respectively comprising first lateral flanks (113A) and second lateral flanks (113B) located on either side of a deflector (103) of the first wiper blade (10A) and the second wiper blade (10B) respectively.
9. Packaging assembly (1) according to the preceding claim, in which the first lateral flanks (113A) and the second lateral flanks (113B) have a free edge (110) located at the level of a top edge of the corresponding deflector (103).
10. Packaging assembly (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 4, in which the first sheath (11 A) and the second sheath (11 B) have an elliptical transverse profile.
