[0033] Referring to Figures 1-7, a paper container for cosmetic products 100 according to a first preferred embodiment of the invention comprises the following elements, as detailed below.
[0034] A box 10 is made of paper and includes a lid 11; a base 13; a flexible folding member (e.g., a hinge) 12 connecting the lid 11 and the base 13; a slot 14 disposed on an inner surface of the lid 11 having a second end member 141 on one side, a second opening 142 on the other side opposite the second end member 141, a space 143 in the slot 14, and two recesses 144 at intermediate portions of the second end member 141 and the second opening 142, respectively; a paper sheet 15 disposed on an inner surface of the flexible folding member 12 and configured to cover creases formed on an inner surface of the box 10 such that the box 10 can be visually aesthetic; a support 16 disposed on an inner surface of the base 13;and a plurality of compartments 17 on an upper surface of the support 16, the compartment 17 having a gap 173, a first end member (e.g., a closed end) 171 on one side, a first opening 172 on the other side opposite the first end member 171, and a plurality of second openings 174 on top. ;
[0035] A mirror 20 is movably disposed in the space 143 and includes a paper frame 21 disposed on a periphery and a bottom of the mirror 20 to prevent a person from being injured by the mirror 20 when pulling on the mirror 20.
[0036] A plurality of storage members 30 are made of paper, metal, or plastic. The storage member 30 is movably disposed in the space 173 and includes a tab 31 on one side, and a plurality of receptacles 32, each for receiving one of a plurality of inserts 50 containing a cosmetic product. The insert 50 is made of plastic, metal, or paper. As specifically shown in [Fig. 5], a through hole 321 is formed through a bottom of the receptacle 32.
[0037] For the storage element 30 made of paper, a sheet of wrapping paper 33 is provided on a periphery, an inner surface, and a bottom face, except for the through holes 321. The wrapping paper sheet 33 is used to absorb moisture in the air, since the storage member 30 may be soaked with liquid due to moisture absorption. Therefore, the storage member 30 is moisture-resistant. Otherwise, microorganisms may grow in the cosmetics contained therein.
[0038] A strap 40 comprises a first half 41 disposed between a front portion of the base 13 and a front portion of the support 16, and a second half 42 disposed on a front portion of the cover 11 such that the base 13 can be closed by the cover 11.
[0039] As specifically shown in [Fig.7], a groove 131 is provided in a front portion of the inner surface of the base 13 and configured to receive the first half 41 of the strap 40. The base 13 and the support 16 are completely secured together. This avoids compromising a proper securing position of the base 13 and the support 16. Thus, the securing of the base 13 and the support 16 is secure.
[0040] As specifically shown in Figures 4 and 5, a person can pull the tab 31 to remove the storage element 30 from the first opening 172 and insert a finger through the through hole 321 to push the insert 50 away from the receptacle 32 so as to replace the insert 50 with a new one. It is thus possible to reuse the box 10 and the storage element 30. It is also possible to recycle the insert 50.
[0041] To replace a cosmetic product contained in the insert 50 with a cosmetic product of a different color, the person can pull on the tab 31 to remove the storage element 30 from the first opening 172, because the storage element 30 is movably arranged in the space 173. This is a quick replacement.
[0042] The mirror 20 is movably arranged in the space 143 and is not fixed therein by means of an adhesive, thereby reducing damage to the environment. The person can remove the mirror 20 from the storage 14 by using his finger to push a portion of the mirror 20 exposed at the recess 144 in order to recycle the mirror 20. Furthermore, the box 10 is made of paper. The invention is therefore an environmentally friendly product and can be reused.
[0043] Referring to Figures 8 to 10, a paper container for cosmetic products 100 according to a second preferred embodiment of the invention is illustrated. The features of the second preferred embodiment are substantially the same as those of the first preferred embodiment, except for the following points: the tabs 31 of the storage members 30 are eliminated. Two cavities 175 are provided at intermediate portions of the first end member 171 and the first opening 172, respectively. The person may remove the storage element 30 from the first opening 172 by using his finger to push a portion of the storage element 30 exposed at the cavity 175 so as to replace the storage element 30 with a new one and further insert a finger through the through hole 321 to push the insert 50 away from the receptacle 32 so as to replace the insert 50 with a new one.
[0044] The first end member 171 is no longer a closed end as in the first preferred embodiment due to the presence of the cavity 175 at one end of the compartment 17. In other words, the first end member 171 is partially open. Advantageously, the storage member 30 cannot be removed from the compartment 17 through the first end member 171.
[0045] Referring to Figures 11 to 12, a paper container for cosmetic products 100 according to a third preferred embodiment of the invention is illustrated. The features of the third preferred embodiment are substantially the same as those of the first preferred embodiment, except for the following points: two buttons 60 are provided on an outer surface of the cover 11 and an outer surface of the base 13, respectively. A strap 40 is wound over the buttons 60 to secure the cover 11 and the base 13 together.
[0046] Although the invention has been described in terms of preferred embodiments, those skilled in the art will recognize that the invention may be implemented with modifications, without departing from the scope of the present invention.
