Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Opening handle assembly and opening comprising such an assembly Technical field
[0001] The present invention relates to an opening handle assembly and an opening comprising such an assembly. Prior art
[0002] Certain types of viruses transmissible between humans, notably SARS-CoV-2, can survive on surfaces for several hours or even several days, depending on the type of surface.
[0003] In particular, the virus shows better survival on solid and smooth surfaces than on porous surfaces. Thus, traces of virus can be found on the surface of many objects, particularly on door handles.
[0004] Virus transmission via door handles is therefore particularly widespread.
[0005] Certain public places, in particular shops, public toilets, bars and restaurants, sports complexes, healthcare establishments, hospitals, etc., make available to the public bottles containing a disinfectant product, typically a hydroalcoholic solution in liquid or gel form.
[0006] However, the distribution of the disinfectant product is subject to the goodwill of the users.
[0007] Some types of public places, such as healthcare facilities and hospitals, attempt to encourage visitors to use disinfectant by placing such bottles near the entrance doors to patient rooms.
[0008] Such bottles are typically placed inside the rooms, in order to limit the risk of transmission of viruses to patients by external visitors and to limit the risk of development of nosocomial diseases, and outside the rooms, in the corridor, in order to allow visitors to disinfect their hands when they leave the rooms.
[0009] However, when a visitor enters a patient's room, he grabs the front door handle with his hand, which is not necessarily disinfected.
[0010] There is therefore a need to further encourage users to disinfect their hands, particularly when they are in public places, in order to limit the risk of virus transmission via door handles. Statement of the invention
[0011] The present invention aims to overcome the aforementioned drawbacks, and relates to to make an opening handle assembly, comprising a handle comprising a gripping handle, remarkable in that said gripping handle comprises at least one orifice for dispensing a disinfectant fluid, said assembly being further remarkable in that it comprises a dispensing device adapted to convey a disinfectant fluid to said at least one dispensing orifice when it is actuated.
[0012] Thus, by providing a handle comprising a dispensing orifice at the level of its gripping handle and by providing to equip the assembly according to the invention with a dispensing device adapted to convey a disinfectant fluid towards the dispensing orifice when it is actuated, disinfectant product is dispensed at the same time as the user grasps the handle of the opening when the dispensing device is actuated.
[0013] Thus, thanks to the present invention, users are further encouraged to disinfect their hands when they grasp the handle of an opening, which makes it possible to limit the risk of virus transmission via the opening handles.
[0014] The present invention finds application in particular in health establishments, hospitals, public toilets, construction site toilets not connected to water, stations, airports, shops, bars and restaurants, sports complexes, etc.
[0015] According to optional characteristics of the opening handle assembly according to the invention: - said gripping handle comprises two bulges arranged on either side of said at least one dispensing orifice; - the distance between one of said bulges and said at least one dispensing orifice is between approximately 2 mm and approximately 3 mm; - at least one of said bulges has a height of between approximately 5 mm and approximately 7 mm; - at least one of said bulges comprises, relative to said dispensing orifice, a beveled distal end; - the assembly comprises a reservoir intended to contain said disinfectant fluid and a conveying conduit connecting said reservoir to said at least one dispensing orifice; - said tank is integral with said handle; - said dispensing orifice is positioned substantially in the middle of the grip handle; - said grip handle comprises a front face and a rear face intended to be positioned opposite the opening when said handle is mounted on said opening, said at least one dispensing orifice being made on said rear face.
[0016] The invention also relates to an opening comprising a handle assembly opening, remarkable in that said assembly is according to the invention. Brief description of the drawings

[0018] [Fig-1] shows an example of the embodiment of an opening handle assembly according to the invention, seen in perspective from the outside of the handle.
[0019] [Fig.2] shows the assembly according to the invention in perspective from the inside of the handle.
[0020] [Fig.3] is a perspective view of the assembly according to the invention, centered on one end of the handle.
[0021] [Fig.4] is an enlargement of zone IV of [Fig.2]. Description of the embodiments
[0022] In the remainder of the description, elements having an identical structure or similar functions are designated by the same reference.
[0023] Reference is made to [Fig.l] showing an exemplary embodiment of an opening handle assembly 1 according to the invention, seen in perspective from the outside of the handle.
[0024] The assembly 1 comprises a handle 3, intended to equip an opening (not shown).
[0025] The opening may designate for example a door of a building, a French window, a window, a vehicle door, etc.
[0026] The opening is mounted movably on a frame (not shown) between an open position and a closed position.
[0027] The handle 3 is mounted to move relative to the opening between a rest position capable of corresponding to the closed position of the opening and an open position capable of corresponding to the open position of the opening.
[0028] The handle 3 is intended to be connected to a bolt (not shown) adapted to cooperate with a strike plate carried by the frame when the opening occupies its closed position and to release the strike plate when the opening occupies its open position.
[0029] The opening can be locked and unlocked on the frame by a locking and unlocking mechanism (not shown) external to the assembly 1 according to the invention or integrated directly into the handle 3.
[0030] In the exemplary embodiment illustrated in the figures, the rest position and the open position of the handle 3 are reached by rotating the handle 3 around a substantially horizontal axis of rotation 5.
[0031] The assembly 1 further comprises a reservoir 7 intended to contain a disinfectant product such as a hydroalcoholic solution in liquid form or in gel form.
[0032] In the embodiment illustrated in the figures, the reservoir 7 is integral with the handle 3. The reservoir 7 can be fixed to the handle 3, for example by screwing.
[0033] Also, in the illustrated embodiment, the reservoir 7 is mounted in the lower part of the handle 3 when the handle 3 is mounted on the opening that it equips. Alternatively, the reservoir 7 can be arranged differently relative to the handle 1, for example in the upper part of the handle 1.
[0034] According to an alternative embodiment not illustrated in the figures, the reservoir 7 is not integral with the handle 3. The reservoir 7 is then, for example, mounted directly in the opening or outside the opening.
[0035] The handle 3 further comprises a gripping handle 9. The gripping handle 9 of the handle 3 consists, for example, of a hollow, tubular body, for example of a generally cylindrical geometric shape.
[0036] The gripping handle 9 has an outer face 11 and an inner face 13 visible in [Fig.2] to which reference is now made and showing the assembly 1 in perspective from the inside of the handle 3.
[0037] The inner face 13 is arranged directly opposite the opening when the handle 3 is mounted on the opening.
[0038] According to the invention, the grip handle 9 of the handle 3 comprises a dispensing orifice 15 for the disinfectant fluid.
[0039] The dispensing orifice 15 for the disinfectant fluid can be made on the inner face 13 of the grip handle 9, as is the case in the example representation given in the figures, which makes it possible to conceal the dispensing orifice 15 and to make the handle 3 more aesthetic.
[0040] According to an alternative embodiment not shown in the figures, the grip handle 9 of the handle 3 comprises several dispensing orifices 15.
[0041] The assembly 1 according to the invention further comprises a dispensing device known to those skilled in the art and adapted to convey the disinfectant fluid to the dispensing orifice 15 when it is actuated.
[0042] The assembly 1 comprises a conveying conduit (not visible) connecting the reservoir 7 to the distribution orifice 15. For this purpose, an inlet orifice (not shown) for the disinfectant fluid is made in the handle 3 opposite the outlet of the reservoir 7.
[0043] The presence of the conveying conduit connecting the reservoir 7 to the dispensing orifice 15 makes it possible to avoid direct contact between the disinfectant product and the handle 3, which makes it possible to avoid corrosion of the handle 3 from the inside. For example, the conveying conduit may be a flexible conduit made of plastic material.
[0044] Thus, when the dispensing device is actuated, the dispensing orifice 15 made on the grip handle of the handle 3 dispenses the disinfectant fluid di directly on the user's hand when he grasps the handle 3. Thus, thanks to the assembly 1, the disinfectant product is applied to the user's hand when he grasps the handle 3 of the opening, which limits the risk of virus transmission via the handle 3.
[0045] Reference is made to [Fig. 3] which is a perspective view of the assembly 1, centered on one end of the handle 3.
[0046] The dispensing device is capable of being actuated from outside the handle 3, when the user grasps the handle 3.
[0047] For this purpose, according to a first embodiment, the dispensing device can be mechanically actuated by means of a push button 17 adapted to create a vacuum in the conveying conduit which connects the reservoir 7 to the dispensing orifice 15 when the user exerts pressure on the push button 17.
[0048] The push button 17 is for example mounted at one end 19 of the handle 3 so that the user can actuate it with his thumb when he grasps the gripping handle 9.
[0049] According to a second embodiment not illustrated in the figures, the dispensing device can be actuated automatically by means of one or more sensors, for example an infrared detector adapted to detect the presence of the user's hand near the gripping handle 9. The sensor can be powered by a battery or by an electric battery, for example housed in the assembly 1.
[0050] Reference is made to [Fig.4] showing an enlargement of zone IV of [Fig.2].
[0051] In the embodiment illustrated in the figures, the gripping handle 9 comprises two bulges 21, 23 arranged on either side of the dispensing orifice 15.
[0052] The presence of the bulges 21, 23 on either side of the dispensing orifice 15 allows the user's hand not to come into contact with the dispensing orifice 15 when dispensing the disinfectant product.
[0053] In this way, the risk of disinfectant product spreading onto the grip handle 9 of the handle 3 when the product is dispensed is limited.
[0054] In one embodiment, the distance Di between the bulge 21 and the dispensing orifice 15 is between approximately 2 mm and approximately 3 mm. Similarly, the distance D2 between the bulge 23 and the dispensing orifice 15 is between approximately 2 mm and approximately 3 mm.
[0055] This further limits the risk of the disinfectant product spreading onto the gripping handle 9 when the product is dispensed.
[0056] The height H of each or one of the bulges 21, 23 is between approximately 5 mm and approximately 10 mm, for example between approximately 5 mm and approximately 7 mm. Such a range of values makes it possible to further limit the risk of the disinfectant product spreading onto the gripping handle 9 when the product is dispensed, while allowing the dispensing orifice 15 to deliver product with sufficient ejection power.
[0057] According to a characteristic of the invention, the dispensing orifice 15 can be positioned substantially in the middle of the gripping handle 9 of the handle 3. This makes it possible to obtain sufficient ejection power.
[0058] In one embodiment, the bulges 21, 23 each comprise a proximal end 25 and a distal end 27 relative to the dispensing orifice 15. In the exemplary embodiment illustrated in the figures, the distal ends 27 of the bulges 21, 23 are beveled. This allows a good grip of the gripping handle 9, thus making it possible to obtain comfort of use of the handle 3. Alternatively, only one of the bulges 21, 23 can be beveled at its distal end 27.
[0059] The present invention is for example intended to equip openings of health establishments, hospitals, public toilets, construction site toilets not connected to water, stations, airports, shops, bars and restaurants, sports complexes, etc. However, the present invention can be transposed to vehicle openings, in particular to motor vehicle doors.
[0060] In the exemplary embodiment illustrated in the figures, the disinfectant product is contained in the reservoir 7 carried by the assembly 1. However, according to an alternative embodiment not shown in the figures, the assembly 1 may not include a reservoir 7, the handle 3 then being supplied with disinfectant product by an external device, for example a device mounted directly in the opening or outside the opening.
[0061] As goes without saying, the present invention is not limited to the sole embodiments of this opening handle assembly and of this opening comprising such an assembly, described above solely as illustrative examples, but on the contrary it embraces all the variants involving the technical equivalents of the means described as well as their combinations if these fall within the scope of the invention.
