Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Holding device for guardrails Technical field
[0001] The present invention relates to the field of construction, and more particularly to the field of the safety of people working at height on construction sites where wall panels are used, such as prefabricated or on-site manufactured wall panels.
[0002] A wall panel may, for example, be a wall made up of a plurality of construction elements, of substantially parallelepiped shape, assembled together or be a monolithic wall based on aggregates, wood chips and cement for example, said wall being able to be manufactured in a place different from the place where the wall is intended to be permanently installed or be manufactured on site. A wall panel may also have integrated formwork (for example of the MCI or MCII type), or be single or multi-walled.
[0003] After assembly, generally in a factory, a prefabricated wall panel is transported from a manufacturing site to an installation site. The prefabricated wall panel is then placed in place at the installation site before the creation of a slab, prior to the creation of an upper floor itself composed of one or more additional prefabricated wall panels. State of the art
[0004] It is known from the prior art to use collective protection systems in order to make working at height safe and to prevent any risk of falling during construction activities. The presence of these collective protection systems, such as temporary guardrails arranged around the perimeter of the construction for example, is obviously necessary to ensure the safety of people working on construction sites, but the installation is often time-consuming and tedious on the construction site. Among the various collective protection solutions, the guardrail system remains the most widely used.Guardrails traditionally comprise a plurality of holding devices attached to a wall panel installed or made at the final installation site, and for example to prefabricated wall panels, a plurality of safety posts assembled to the holding devices, as well as rails configured to interconnect the safety posts.
[0005] In the current case of masonry carried out on the final installation site, the collective protections are fixed on and through the walls as they progress by the companies and are positioned outside the structure to be secured, i.e. placed against the facade. The guardrails are raised by vertical uprights in floor height as the construction rises. In addition to the reliability of such an implementation, in addition to the quantity of material required to secure the entire facade, the removal of these so-called "climbing" guardrails reveals difficulties in removing them safely at the end of the work (since they are located outside the structure and are difficult to access).
[0006] In the case of prefabricated wall panels, it is known from the prior art to carry out the installation of the holding devices during manufacture, that is to say upstream of the installation of the prefabricated wall panel on the final installation site. The holding devices are then mechanically connected (welded and / or screwed for example) to the prefabricated wall panel. This type of holding device allows a user to quickly and easily install the safety posts. However, such a type of holding device has major drawbacks, the first being the impossibility of modifying the position or spacing of the holding devices for example.Another disadvantage lies in the impossibility, on site, of reusing the holding devices, used during the construction of a first floor, to secure the installation of prefabricated wall panels in line with the first prefabricated wall panels already installed. Indeed, the holding devices as used in the prior art are generally embedded in the construction material during the construction of the floor separating two floors of prefabricated wall panels, it is therefore necessary, after having constructed the floor and before carrying out the installation of the prefabricated wall panels in line with the first prefabricated wall panels already installed, to fix to the floor a second series of holding devices, which are offset inwards relative to the first series of holding devices, and to fix the guardrail on the holding devices belonging to the second series. Summary of the invention
[0007] The present invention aims to partially or completely remedy the aforementioned drawbacks.
[0008] The technical problem underlying the invention consists in particular in providing a shaped holding device for simplified installation of guardrails on a construction site, which is of simple, compact and economical structure, while allowing adaptation of the position of the holding device to the actual conditions of the construction site.
[0009] To this end, the present invention relates to a holding device configured to be assembled to a wall panel, and for example to a prefabricated wall panel and in particular a prefabricated integrated formwork wall, for example of the MCI type or of the MCII, which extends along an elevation plane, and intended to cooperate with a safety post of a guardrail, the holding device comprising:
[0010] - a fixing part configured to be attached and removably fixed to the wall panel, the attachment portion extending along a first extension axis which is configured to extend substantially vertically when the holding device is in a use configuration;
[0011] - a support portion configured to bear against, and more particularly to rest on an upper face of the wall panel; and
[0012] - an assembly part configured to removably cooperate with a complementary assembly part provided on the safety post, the assembly part extending along a second extension axis which is substantially parallel to the first extension axis.
[0013] Such a configuration of the holding device according to the present invention allows easy installation of the fixing part of the holding device on a wall panel and also easy adaptation of the position of the fixing part in order to take into account the actual conditions of the construction site. Thus, the holding device according to the present invention allows easy, secure and reliable assembly of a guardrail intended to secure the intervention of a user at the height of a wall panel.
[0014] Furthermore, since the fixing part is configured to be removably fixed to the wall panel, it is possible, after pouring a floor slab, to dismantle the holding device and reuse it to secure the installation of prefabricated wall panels of an upper floor, which makes it possible to significantly reduce the costs for securing the construction of a structure and in particular of a structure comprising a large number of floors.
[0015] Furthermore, the specific configuration of the holding device according to the present invention allows easy removal of the holding device from inside the structure and thus avoids any risk of the latter falling from the side of the facade of the structure under construction.
[0016] The holding device may further have one or more of the following features, which may be taken alone or in combination.
[0017] According to one embodiment of the invention, the assembly part is a female assembly part, and the complementary assembly part is a male assembly part.
[0018] According to one embodiment of the invention, the assembly part has a substantially circular section.
[0019] According to one embodiment of the invention, the assembly part has a substantially rectangular, and for example square, section.
[0020] According to one embodiment of the invention, the holding device comprises a main body comprising the fixing part and the assembly part.
[0021] According to one embodiment of the invention, the main body is made in a single piece, that is to say it is a single block.
[0022] According to one embodiment of the invention, the support portion is substantially planar and is configured to extend substantially perpendicular to the elevation plane when the holding device is in the use configuration.
[0023] According to one embodiment of the invention, the support portion is located between the assembly portion and the fixing portion, and is configured to mechanically connect the assembly portion to the fixing portion.
[0024] According to one embodiment of the invention, the support part is provided on the main body.
[0025] According to one embodiment of the invention, the support portion is a support shoulder provided on the main body. Advantageously, the support shoulder is located at the junction between the fixing portion and the assembly portion.
[0026] According to one embodiment of the invention, the fixing portion is configured to be removably fixed to the wall panel.
[0027] According to one embodiment of the invention, the fixing portion is configured to extend along and against a wall of the wall panel when the holding device is in the use configuration.
[0028] According to one embodiment of the invention, the holding device comprises a holding member separate from the main body and comprising the support part, the holding member being mounted, for example in a removable manner, on the main body.
[0029] According to one embodiment of the invention, the holding member is movable between an insertion position in which the holding member is inserted at least partially inside the main body and a withdrawal position in which the holding member is dissociated from the main body.
[0030] According to one embodiment of the invention, the support portion is configured to extend transversely to the first extension axis and to the second extension axis.
[0031] According to one embodiment of the invention, the holding member is a holding pin. Such a configuration of the invention makes it easier to remove the holding device, for example.
[0032] According to one embodiment of the invention, the fixing part is configured to be inserted at least partially inside an internal arrangement, such as a cell, defined by at least one construction element forming the wall panel and opening into the upper face of the wall panel.
[0033] According to one embodiment of the invention, the at least one construction element forming the wall panel is a construction brick.
[0034] According to one embodiment of the invention, the fixing part has a length substantially equal to 1.5 times the height of a construction element which makes up the wall panel. Such a length may nevertheless vary depending on the material of the fixing part and the nature of the wall panel.
[0035] According to one embodiment of the invention, the first extension axis and the second extension axis are substantially the same.
[0036] According to one embodiment of the invention, the first extension axis and the second extension axis are laterally offset relative to each other, such that, when the holding device is in the use configuration, the assembly part is offset relative to the wall panel, i.e. is not located directly above the wall panel. Such a characteristic of the holding device advantageously makes it possible to offset the receiving part towards the interior of the construction. It is thus possible to carry out the installation of the safety element without hindering the installation of a second wall panel over the wall panel already in position. Advantageously, this makes it possible to use, and to lose, only one holding device when creating the floor separating each height of wall panels.
[0037] According to one embodiment of the invention, the fixing part is formed at least partially by a profile. Such a configuration of the invention makes it possible to increase the bending resistance of the fixing part when a force is exerted on the safety post.
[0038] According to one embodiment of the invention, the profile has a U shape.
[0039] According to one embodiment of the invention, the fixing part is substantially tubular.
[0040] According to one embodiment of the invention, the fixing part has a circular section.
[0041] According to one embodiment of the invention, the fixing part has a free end which is beveled. Such a configuration of the invention advantageously makes it possible to use the end of the fixing part to overcome imperfections and / or cement which may be present when the holding device is put in place in the configuration of use.
[0042] According to one embodiment of the invention, the holding device comprises a dismantling element, such as a dismantling sleeve for example, also called a formwork stripping element, configured to extend at least around an extension portion provided on the fixing part or the assembly part and intended to be cast in concrete forming a floor slab. In other words, the dismantling element is intended to be cast in the concrete forming a floor slab. Advantageously, the extension portion extends substantially parallel to the first extension axis, and is therefore configured to extend substantially vertically when the holding device is in the use configuration.
[0043] According to one embodiment of the invention, the disassembly element is made at least partially of a deformable material, such as a deformable foam or a plastic or elastic material, which is configured to allow movement of the main body substantially transversely to the first extension axis when removing the main body.
[0044] According to one embodiment of the invention, the dismantling element and the extension portion are configured to define an upper radial clearance defined between an upper portion of the dismantling element and the extension portion, and a lower radial clearance defined between a lower portion of the dismantling element and the extension portion, the upper radial clearance and the lower radial clearance being configured to facilitate removal of the main body once the floor slab has solidified around the dismantling element.
[0045] According to one embodiment of the invention, the extension portion is configured to extend substantially vertically.
[0046] According to one embodiment of the invention, the disassembly element is tubular and is configured to extend along the first extension axis or the second extension axis.
[0047] According to one embodiment of the invention, the main body and the dismantling element are dismountable relative to each other in a dismantling direction which is substantially parallel to the first extension axis. Such a configuration of the invention advantageously makes it possible to prevent contact between the main body and the concrete, intended to form the floor slab, during casting. Thus, after the floor slab has hardened, it is possible to dismantle the holding device, and more precisely to dismantle the main body. The demolding element is lost in the floor slab.
[0048] According to one embodiment of the invention, the main body is removable relative to the disassembly element in a downwardly oriented removal direction, and more specifically by applying a vertical force from top to bottom, by means of a hammer for example, at an upper end of the assembly part.
[0049] According to one embodiment of the invention, the main body is removable with respect to the disassembly element in an upwardly oriented removal direction, and more specifically by applying a vertical force from bottom to top, by means of a hammer for example, at a lower end of the fixing part or by means of a traction member placed in an insertion orifice provided at an upper end of the assembly part for example.
[0050] According to one embodiment of the invention, the dismantling element is configured to cover the holding device over the entire thickness of the floor slab in the installation configuration.
[0051] According to one embodiment of the invention, the fixing portion is configured to extend along and against an external wall of the wall panel when the holding device is in the use configuration.
[0052] According to one embodiment of the invention, the fixing portion is configured to extend along and against an external wall of the wall panel which faces towards the interior side of the building under construction.
[0053] According to one embodiment of the invention, the fixing part comprises a bearing face configured to bear against an external vertical wall of the wall panel, the bearing part being configured to project from said bearing face of the fixing part.
[0054] According to one embodiment of the invention, the fixing part further comprises at least one passage orifice configured to allow the passage of a fixing member, such that the cooperation between the fixing part and the fixing member makes it possible to maintain the fixing part in the configuration of use.
[0055] According to one embodiment of the invention, the at least one passage orifice has a substantially circular shape.
[0056] According to one embodiment of the invention, the at least one passage orifice has an oblong shape. This advantageously makes it possible to adjust the vertical position of the fixing part, for example.
[0057] According to one embodiment of the invention, the fixing member is configured to pass through the wall panel and the fixing portion.
[0058] According to one embodiment of the invention, the holding device further comprises a stabilization device, such as a stabilization prop for example, which is configured to bear on a floor surface which is distinct from the wall panel on the one hand, and to be secured to the fixing part on the other hand.
[0059] According to one embodiment of the invention, the stabilization device is configured to be secured to the fixing member.
[0060] According to one embodiment of the invention, the support portion extends perpendicular to the first and second extension axes.
[0061] According to one embodiment of the invention, the fixing part and the assembly part are arranged on either side of the support part.
[0062] According to one embodiment of the invention, the fixing portion is configured to extend along and against an internal wall of the wall panel when the holding device is in the use configuration. Brief description of the figures

[0075] Unless otherwise stipulated, the term “substantially” means, in this document, “exactly or to within 10% or 10°”.
[0076] In this document, the term "wall panel" means a vertical structural element which may be masonry or concrete, which may or may not be prefabricated, which may or may not have integrated formwork, and which may or may not be single-walled or multi-walled.
[0077] Figures 1 to 5 represent a holding device 1 according to a first embodiment of the invention.
[0078] The holding device 1 is configured to be assembled to a wall panel 2, such as a prefabricated wall panel or a prefabricated integrated formwork wall, for example of the MCI or MCII type, which extends along an elevation plane PI and which is formed by construction elements, such as construction bricks for example. The holding device 1 comprises a fixing part 3, a support part 4 and an assembly part 5, and is intended to cooperate with a safety post 6 of a guardrail 7 ([Fig.4]). More specifically, the holding device 1 comprises a main body 100, which is made in a single piece, and which comprises the fixing part 3 and the assembly part 5.
[0079] The fixing portion 3 extends along a first extension axis A1 which is configured to extend vertically when the holding device 1 is in a use configuration. By use configuration is meant a configuration in which the holding device 1 is assembled with the wall panel 2 on the one hand, and is configured to cooperate with the safety post 6 on the other hand.
[0080] According to the first embodiment of the invention, the fixing part 3 is configured to be attached and removably fixed to the wall panel 2 and to extend along and against an external wall 8 (which faces the interior side of the building under construction) of the wall panel 2 when the holding device 1 is in the use configuration.
[0081] According to the first embodiment of the invention, the fixing part 3 is substantially tubular, and for example of rectangular section. Such a configuration of the invention makes it possible to facilitate assembly, for example by welding, between the fixing part 3 and the assembly part 5. Advantageously, the fixing part 3 comprises a bearing face 9 configured to bear against an external wall 8, and more particularly a vertical external wall, of the wall panel 2.
[0082] The fixing part 3 further comprises at least one passage orifice 10, which may for example be circular or oblong in shape, and configured to allow the passage of a fixing member 11, such that the cooperation between the fixing part 3 and the fixing member 11 makes it possible to maintain the fixing part 3 in the configuration of use. Advantageously, the fixing member 11 is configured to pass through the wall panel 2 and the fixing part 3.
[0083] The support portion 4 is formed by a support collar, for example of square or circular shape, located at the junction between the fixing portion 3 and the assembly portion 5. The support collar is configured to extend transversely to the first extension axis A1 and is configured to bear against, and more particularly to rest at least partially on, an upper face 12 of the wall panel 2 when the holding device 1 is in the use configuration. Advantageously, the support portion 4 is configured to extend substantially perpendicular to the elevation plane PI when the holding device 1 is in the use configuration. Such a configuration of the holding device 1 allows easy installation of the fixing part 3, provided on the main body 100, on the wall panel 2.
[0084] The assembly part 5 is configured to cooperate, in a removable manner, with a complementary assembly part provided on the safety post 6. According to the embodiment of the invention as shown in Figures 1 and 2, the assembly part 5 is a female assembly part, and the complementary assembly part is a male assembly part intended to be inserted into the assembly part 5. Advantageously, the assembly part 5 is tubular and has a circular section. Although not shown in the figures, an alternative embodiment of the invention in which the assembly part 5 is a male part, in which the complementary assembly part is a female part, is envisaged and has the same advantages.
[0085] The assembly part 5 extends along a second extension axis A2 which is substantially parallel to the first extension axis AL.
[0086] According to the first embodiment of the invention, the first extension axis A1 and the second extension axis A2 are laterally offset relative to each other, such that, when the holding device 1 is in the use configuration, the assembly part 5 is offset relative to the wall panel 2, that is to say it is not attached to the wall panel 2. Such a characteristic of the holding device 1 advantageously makes it possible to offset the assembly part 5 on the inside of the construction defined by the wall panel 2. It is thus possible to install the guardrail 7 without hindering the installation of a second wall panel 2 over the wall panel 2 already in position.
[0087] As can be seen more specifically in [Fig. 2], the holding device 1 comprises a dismantling element 14, such as a dismantling sleeve for example, configured to extend at least around an extension portion 15 which extends vertically and which is provided on the assembly part 5 and is intended to be cast in concrete forming a floor slab. In other words, the dismantling element 14 is intended to be cast in the concrete forming a floor slab (Figures 3 and 4). Advantageously, the dismantling element 14 is tubular and may for example have a generally cylindrical or frustoconical shape, and is configured to extend along the second extension axis A2.
[0088] Advantageously, the dismantling element 14 has a height greater than or equal to the thickness of the floor slab, and is thus configured to cover the main body 100 over the entire thickness of the floor slab when the holding device 1 is in the installation configuration. According to the embodiment shown in [Fig. 3], the dismantling element 14 and the extension portion 15 define an upper radial clearance defined between an upper portion of the dismantling element 14 and the extension portion 15, and a lower radial clearance defined between a lower portion of the dismantling element 14 and the extension portion 15. The upper radial clearance and the lower radial clearance are configured to facilitate removal of the main body 100 once the floor slab has solidified around the dismantling element 14. The dismantling element 14 may also be made at least partially of a deformable material, such as a deformable foam or a plastic or elastic material, which is configured to allow movement of the main body 100 substantially transversely to the second extension axis A2 during removal of the main body
[0089] Advantageously, the main body 100 and the disassembly element 14 are removable relative to each other in a disassembly direction which is substantially parallel to the second extension axis A2. More particularly, the main body 100 and the disassembly element 14 are removable relative to each other in a withdrawal direction which is downward, i.e. from the bottom of the floor slab. Such a configuration of the invention makes it possible to prevent contact between the main body 100 and the concrete intended to form the floor slab during pouring, and to carry out disassembly of the main body 100 after the floor slab has hardened. The disassembly element 14 is lost in the floor slab. The disassembly of the main body 100 with respect to the disassembly element 14 in the removal direction is carried out by applying a vertical force from top to bottom, by means of a hammer for example, at an upper end of the assembly part 5.
[0090] The holding device 1 may, in addition, comprise a stabilization device 300 ([Fig.4]), such as a stabilization prop for example. The stabilization device 300 is configured to bear on a ground surface which is distinct from the wall panel 2 on the one hand, and to be secured to the fixing part 3 on the other hand. In order to facilitate implementation on the construction site, the stabilization device 300 is configured to be secured to the wall panel by being inserted between the fixing part 3 and the fixing member 11.
[0091] As shown more specifically in [Fig. 5], the holding device 1 is also configured to be assembled to a wall panel 2 formed by an integrated formwork wall comprising two formwork elements 400 and an insulating element 500, also called MCII for “Integrated and Insulating Formwork Wall”. The holding device 1 is thus configured to be assembled to a very wide and non-limiting range of wall panels 2. The wall panel 2 shown in [Fig. 5] differs from the wall panel of [Fig. 3] in particular in that its design is initiated off-site construction (preparation of the formwork elements 400 and the insulating element 500), then concrete 600 is poured, on the installation site, in the internal space delimited by the formwork elements 400 and the insulating element 500.
[0092] Figures 6 and 7 show a second embodiment of the invention, which differs from the first embodiment essentially in that the fixing part 3 is partially formed by a profile which has a U-shape. Such a configuration of the invention makes it possible to increase the bending resistance of the fixing part 3 when a force is exerted on the safety post 6.
[0093] The second embodiment of the invention differs from the first embodiment also in that the holding device 1 comprises a holding member 120, such as a holding pin for example, separate from the main body 100 and comprising the bearing portion 4. The holding member 120 is removably mounted on the main body 100. The bearing portion 4 is configured to extend transversely to the first extension axis A1 and is configured to bear against, and more particularly to rest at least partially on, the upper face 12 of the wall panel 2 when the holding device 1 is in the use configuration. Advantageously, the bearing portion 4 is configured to extend substantially perpendicularly to the elevation plane P1 when the holding device 1 is in the use configuration.More particularly, the support part 4 is configured to protrude from the support face 9 of the fixing part 3. Such a configuration of the invention makes it easier to remove the holding device 1, for example.
[0094] Figures 8 and 9 represent a third embodiment of the invention, which differs from the first embodiment essentially in that the disassembly element 14 is configured to extend at least around an extension portion 15 provided on the fixing part 3 and along the first extension axis AL. According to a variant of the third embodiment not shown in the figures, the fixing part 3 could be of circular section for example.
[0095] According to the third embodiment of the invention, the main body 100 is removable with respect to the dismantling element 14 in a removal direction which is oriented upwards, that is to say that the removal of the main body 100 is carried out from the top of the floor slab and more specifically by applying a vertical force from bottom to top, by means of a hammer for example, at a lower end of the fixing part 3.
[0096] Figures 10 and 11 show a holding device 1 according to a fourth embodiment of the invention which differs from the first embodiment essentially in that the first extension axis A1 of the fixing part 3 and the second extension axis A2 of the assembly part 5 are the same. support part 4 is provided on the main body 100 and is secured to the main body 100. Such a configuration allows extremely simple and economical production of the holding device 1.
[0097] According to the fourth embodiment of the invention, the support part 4 is formed by a support shoulder, for example annular, located between the assembly part 5 and the fixing part 3 and mechanically connecting the assembly part 5 to the fixing part 3, and the extension portion 15, around which the disassembly element 14 is arranged, is provided on the assembly part 5.
[0098] According to the fourth embodiment of the invention, the main body 100 is removable with respect to the disassembly element 14 in a removal direction oriented upwards, that is to say from above, and more specifically by applying a vertical force from bottom to top, by means of a traction member placed in an insertion orifice 17 provided at an upper end of the assembly part 5 for example.
[0099] As visible in [Fig. 11], the fixing part 3 is configured to extend along and against an internal wall of the wall panel 2 when the holding device 1 is in the use configuration. The fixing part 3 may for example be configured to be inserted at least partially inside an internal arrangement 18, such as a cell, defined by at least one construction element 19 forming the wall panel 2 and opening into the upper face 12 of the wall panel 2. Advantageously, the fixing part 3 has a length substantially equal to 1.5 times the height of the construction element 19 which makes up the wall panel 2. Such a length may nevertheless vary depending on the material of the fixing part 3 and the nature of the wall panel 2.
[0100] Such a configuration of the holding device 1 allows easy installation and increased adaptability of the fixing part 3 of the holding device 1 during the assembly of a guardrail 7 intended to secure the intervention of a user at a height of the wall panel 2. Indeed, the cooperation between the fixing part 3 and the internal arrangement 18 allows rapid installation of the holding device 1 on the installation site of the wall panel 2. Furthermore, it is possible to move the holding device 1 into another internal arrangement 18 of the wall panel 2 in order to adapt to any constraints of the installation site.
[0101] Of course, the present invention is in no way limited to the embodiments described and illustrated which have been given only as examples. Modifications remain possible, in particular from the point of view of the constitution of the various elements or by substitution of technical equivalents, without departing from the scope of protection of the invention.
