Chassis arrangement for motor vehicle

Abstract

The invention relates to a chassis arrangement (2) for a motor vehicle, the chassis arrangement (2) comprising two engine cradle (21) extensions (210), a bumper crossmember (22) secured to a front end (211) of the engine cradle (21) extensions (210) and extending between them, and a cradle reinforcement (1) which extends between the engine cradle (21) extensions (210) and behind the bumper crossmember (22). According to the invention, the cradle reinforcement (1) is of the type of a tubular structure in the shape of the Greek letter "PI" and comprises a reinforcing cross member (11) which extends behind the bumper cross member (22) and between the two extensions (210) of the engine cradle (21), the reinforcing cross member (11) being supported at a central region by two rear supports (12) forming legs attached to a rear part of the extensions (210) of the engine cradle (21).
