Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for preparing an electrically conductive composite material comprising the following steps: (a) mixing an aluminosilicate source with electrically conductive carbonaceous fillers whereby a solid and homogeneous mixture is obtained, (b) adding the solid and homogeneous mixture obtained in step (a) to an activation solution comprising a SiO2 / Na2O molar ratio of between 1 and 1.4, whereby a geopolymeric slurry in which said electrically conductive carbonaceous fillers are dispersed is obtained, and then (c) allowing the geopolymeric slurry obtained in step (b) to harden whereby an electrically conductive composite material is obtained. The present invention also relates to the electrically conductive composite material thus obtained and its uses.
