Automotive vehicle suspension arm with adjustable pivot link

Abstract

The invention relates to a suspension arm (26) for a motor vehicle. The suspension arm, also called a suspension triangle, comprises: a first portion (42) with at least one pivot joint (32), a second portion intended to be connected to a wheel support, said at least one pivot joint (32) comprising a mounting pin (48) intended to be fixed to an engine cradle (22) of the motor vehicle. The suspension arm (26) includes a positioning device (34) connected to the mounting pin, the positioning device (34) comprising a bearing surface (50) perpendicular to the mounting pin in order to maintain the pivot joint (32) in a predefined position along the mounting pin (48).
