Abstract

A multi-branch electrofusion joint for connecting three pipe sections, said multi-branch electrofusion joint comprising a frame comprising three ends each arranged to connect three pipe sections, and three electrofusion branches, said three electrofusion branches each connected to the three ends and comprising a locking system, an inner bushing and an outer bushing wherein said inner bushing includes a resistance wire and a thermoplastic material, said locking system being mechanically arranged to fasten the outer bushing to the inner bushing, and wherein said resistance wire can be connected to an electrical power source to melt a surface of the inner bushing.
