Abstract
This device is primarily used for conducting fluid pressure experiments (simulations) for the training of engineers in the manufacturing industry. It is used for pressure loss and convection observation experiments to understand the relationship between fluid velocity and pressure in a pipe. As shown in the "Reference Diagram Showing Usage," this device is used by being placed inside a container. In actual use, an acrylic tube (not shown), such as a straw, is inserted into the five small circular holes on the upper surface of the middle section (water channel) of this device to form a manometer or Pitot tube. A pump (not shown) is placed in the circular hole at the right end of the middle section (narrow side of the water channel) in the front view to generate a water flow in the water filling the container. This allows for visual confirmation of the water flow energy loss related to static pressure, dynamic pressure measurement, and total pressure measurement in the pipe due to pipe expansion, by observing the water head height in the manometer and Pitot tube, thereby understanding the relationship between fluid velocity and pressure in the pipe. Furthermore, as shown in the "Reference Diagram Showing Usage," a narrow plate can be placed on top of this device to support the acrylic tube. This product miniaturizes the experimental setup that was previously required for large-scale fluid dynamics experiments, allowing educators to easily carry and conduct experiments with this product.
