Cooling and holding jig for welding electrodes

Abstract

The design welding electrode cooling jig has a cooling water pipe inside a cylindrical holder, and the electrode (shank) attached to the tip of the cylindrical holder is cooled by the cooling water from the pipe. In particular, the length of the cooling water pipe protruding from the cylindrical holder can be adjusted by turning the lock nut to reduce or increase the diameter of the sleeve located inside the lock nut. This allows the electrode to be effectively cooled by changing the amount of protrusion of the cooling water pipe, even if the length of the shank to which the electrode is attached is changed.
