Magnetically attachable hinged stand for portable electronic devices

Abstract

The design is a hinged magnetic stand for portable electronic devices that is attached to the device with an embedded magnet and supports the device using a hinge mechanism. The magnetic circular ring portion is attached to the back of the device, and the flat body rotates around the hinge to support the device and stand it upright. Figure 8 shows an example of the design when folded in half. The dashed lines in the figures are not part of the design sought to be registered.
