Abstract
This product is a shelf support member that can be detachably attached to the keyhole of a shelf column and enables support of a shelf board. The shelf column is composed of a substantially circular hole and a rectangular hole, with a dowel shaft spanning the hole. This product is composed of a dowel shaft that is inserted into the substantially circular hole above the keyhole of the shelf column, and a shelf support portion that is connected to the dowel shaft and has a horizontal surface on which a shelf board is placed. The shelf support portion is shaped like a semi-cylindrical column, and the dowel shaft protrudes from one end of the shelf support portion. The dowel shaft consists of a substantially disk-shaped flange portion and a substantially semi-oval column-shaped neck portion that connects the flange portion to the shelf support portion, and is composed of a step portion that hooks into the rectangular hole below the substantially circular hole in the shelf column. This product is used by attaching it to multiple keyholes drilled vertically in the shelf column to adjust the height of shelves in closet storage shelves, shoe cabinets, etc. Specifically, the dowel shaft is inserted into the roughly round hole above the keyhole of the shelf column (see Reference Front View 1, showing the state in use), and then pushed down into the rectangular hole below to attach the shelf support dowel to the shelf column (see Reference Front View 2, showing the state in use). This procedure is performed for both shelf columns (two on each side) on the parallel opposing walls. By inserting the dowel shaft into the roughly round hole above the keyhole and pushing it down into the rectangular hole below, the neck fits into the rectangular hole, and since the neck cannot rotate (see D-D cross section), a stable shelf support member is provided. The shelf support parts of this product, which consist of four parts detachably fixed to the shelf columns attached in four places, are horizontal and ready to support and place a shelf board on the horizontal surface (see Reference Front View 3, showing the state in use).
