A lock (10) suitable for different slots for electronic devices, which is used to lock an electronic device (20) and is unlocked with a key (30), characterized in that the lock (10) for electronic devices has a housing (11) which is composed of two housing units (111), wherein the housing (11) is externally connected to a safety cable (12) to fix the lock (10) in a location, wherein a first receiving chamber (13) and a second receiving chamber (14) are arranged inside the housing (11), wherein a first separating part (131) projects from the bottom of the first receiving chamber (13) and a second separating part (141) projects from the upper part of the second receiving chamber (14), wherein a
keyhole (142) is arranged on the second receiving chamber (14) which passes through the bottom of the second receiving chamber (14).wherein a third receiving chamber (15) is arranged between the first separating part (13) and the second separating part (14), in which a slide (151) is arranged through which a through-opening (1511) passes, wherein a first spring (152) is arranged between the slide (151) and the housing (11), wherein a locking element (16) is rotatably mounted next to the first receiving chamber (13), on which at least one sawtooth-shaped first locking edge (152) is projecting, wherein a second spring (162) is arranged between the locking element (16) and the housing (11), wherein a locking cylinder (17) is attached in the second receiving chamber (14), in the center of which a cylinder shaft (171) is rotatably mounted, wherein a
flange (711) is arranged in the middle section of the cylinder shaft (171) such that it projects outwards, wherein the middle section of the cylinder shaft (171) passes through the through-opening (1511) is inserted through it,that the
flange (1711) is located in the through-opening (1511), wherein a locking element (18) is arranged in the first receiving chamber (13) and is fitted over the locking cylinder (17), wherein a plurality of sawtooth-shaped second locking edges (181) are arranged projecting on the surface of the locking element (18), wherein a third spring (182) is arranged between the locking element (18) and the first separating element (131), wherein in the state in which the first locking edge (161) and the second locking edge (181) are engaged, the locking element (18) can only move downwards relative to each other, wherein by moving the locking element (18) downwards the first locking edge (161) and the second locking edge (181) temporarily disengage, wherein by moving the locking element (18) upwards the engagement structure of the first locking edge (161) and the second locking edge (181) causes a blocking action,wherein a locking head housing (19) is placed on top of the locking part (18) and connected to it, wherein two locking units (191) are rotatably mounted in the locking head housing (19), wherein by moving the locking part (18) downwards the cylinder shaft (171) is pressed in between the two locking units (191) so that the two locking units (191) are pushed apart, wherein a clamping jaw (1911) is arranged at the front end of each locking unit (191) and is designed such that it projects outwards; that the electronic device (20) is provided with a slot (21), wherein by inserting the locking units (191) into the slot (21) the locking units (191) push down the locking part (18) so that the first locking edge (161) and the second locking edges (181) slide relative to each other and engage each other, thereby bringing the locking part (18) into a lower position,thereby increasing the distance between the two locking units (19) so that the two locking units (19) engage in the slot (21), the clamping jaws (1911) now supporting themselves on the inside of the slot (21) so that the lock (10) for electronic devices cannot be pulled out, wherein, by causing the first locking edge (161) and the second locking edge (181) to slide and engage further, the locking part (18) is moved further into a lower position to increase the distance between the two locking units (191); and that the key (30) can be inserted into the
keyhole (142) and then rotate the cylinder shaft (171), whereby the
flange (151), when the cylinder shaft (171) is rotated 90 degrees, is caused to push the slide (151) to push the locking element (16), thereby disengaging the first locking edge (161) and the second locking edge (181),wherein the locking part (18) rebounds under the influence of the third spring (182), so that the cylindrical shaft (171) located between the two locking units (191) is pulled out, thereby reducing the distance between the two locking units (191) and the two locking units (191) disengage from the slot (21).
