Abstract

The product of the design in question is a door latch that is installed in the rear door of an automobile and engages and disengages with a striker fixed to the vehicle body. The main body case houses an electric actuator that uses a motor to operate a locking / unlocking mechanism that can be switched to an unlocked state in response to the operation of the door handle. As shown in the front view, this automobile door latch has a child lock protruding horizontally slightly below the middle part on the right side. It also has a lever slightly below the middle part on the left side.
