Abstract

To provide a packaging member that can improve workability in replacing a fuser.SOLUTION: A packaging member 10 is to package a fuser 5 removably attached to an image forming apparatus 1. The packaging member 10 comprises a cover part 11a covering the fuser 5, and a left gripping part 14 and a right gripping part 15 provided as a pair on the left and right of the cover part 11a to grip parts to be gripped 5c, 5c formed in the fuser 5. The left gripping part 14 and right gripping part 15 each have heat insulating material insulating heat between an inside surface and an outside surface. The heat insulating material crimps the inner surface onto the part to be gripped 5c with pressing force of the outside surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
