Abstract

To provide a yarn winding device capable of suppressing a decrease in production efficiency caused by an erroneous determination as to whether or not a capturing part has captured a yarn.SOLUTION: A yarn winding device 1 includes: a yarn splicing part 26 that performs a yarn splicing operation to splice yarn Y on a yarn supplying part 12 side and yarn Y on a winding part 14 side; capturing parts 30 and 32 moving between a capturing position for capturing the yarn Y on the yarn supplying part 12 side or the yarn Y on the winding part 14 side and a guide position for guiding the captured yarn to the yarn splicing part 26; a yarn detection part 21 configured to be able to switch detection sensitivity for the yarn Y; a control part 10 that determines whether or not the yarn Y has been captured by the capturing parts 30 and 32 based on a detection result of the yarn detection part 21; and an acquisition part 41 that acquires at least one of information regarding the thickness of the yarn Y and information regarding the presence or absence of erroneous detection or non-detection of the yarn Y in the yarn detection part 21. The control part 10 switches the detection sensitivity of the yarn Y in the yarn detection part 21 based on the at least one of information regarding the thickness of the yarn Y and information regarding the presence or absence of erroneous detection or non-detection.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
