Abstract

To ensure airtightness over a long period of time during valve closing, for a normally-closed gas fuel injector that is electromagnetically driven to inject gas fuel directly into an engine cylinder.SOLUTION: In an electromagnetically driven gas fuel injector 1 that comprises a body 10, an on-off valve 20, a solenoid 30, and a nozzle 40 and that directly injects gas fuel into an engine cylinder, the on-off valve 20 is a separate part from the body 10 and the nozzle 40, and is comprised of: a valve body 21 that is fixed to a plunger 33 constituting the solenoid 30, and reciprocates axially together with the plunger; and a resin valve seat member 22 that has a seat surface 23 that contacts and separates from the valve body 21, and a valve hole 24 that penetrates its center part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
