Abstract

To solve the problem in which: according to chemical recycling, waste is once depolymerized into a raw material monomer and re-polymerized, and thus all types of waste can be recycled, and an obtained recycled product can be used for a wide range of purposes; therefore, in order to increase the utilization rate, there is a need to propose chemical recycling of a polymeric compound to achieve higher efficiency and energy saving.SOLUTION: A method for producing a degradation product of a polymeric compound comprises a step for contacting a polymeric compound with a polyvalent cationic organic compound (A) containing at least two positively charged atoms in the molecule.SELECTED DRAWING: None
