The method comprises: selecting a detection device; under a same operation condition, performing visible light detection, infrared detection, and UV detection of the same composite insulator by using the detection device to obtain detection images of the composite insulator; performing comparison of a partial discharge lighting spot of the visible light image, a partial hot spot of the infrared image, and an electric corona spot of the UV image; performing comparison of visual light images, infrared images, and UV images of different composite insulators of the same pole tower of the same line under the same operation condition; establishing a multi-spectrum detection database according to each composite insulator; and performing data comparison and finding out existing data difference according to detection data in a certain period. According to the method, visual light detection, infrared detection, and UV detection can be organically combined; advantages are complemented; and electrified detection of the insulator is easy to perform. A defect of the composite insulator can be discovered in time, so that large-area tour-inspection is convenient to develop.

Method for detecting cleanness of compressed air pipeline of offshore oil platform

The invention relates to a method for detecting the cleanness of a compressed air pipeline of an offshore oil platform. The method is used for measuring granularity grades of water, oil and solid in compressed air of an instrument of the offshore oil platform and specifically comprises the following steps: preparing before detecting, firstly, blowing off compressed air for about 5min according to a theoretical calculated flow rate, switching off a valve; secondly, performing air sampling connection; thirdly, performing dew point detection, detecting a water content of the compressed air of the instrument, firstly connecting a gas inlet of a dew point analyzer with an air pipeline sampling hole by adopting the dew point analyzer; then performing oil detection, firstly, dismantling a tail end connecting tool, opening a pipeline, performing white light detection, ultraviolet detection and wiping inspection; and finally detecting air particles, detecting particles of the compressed air, and performing three times of sampling by adopting an air particle detector. The method has the advantages that simplicity is realized, the concentrations of water, oil and solid particles in the compressed air can be accurately detected, and detection results meet the standard requirement of ISO8573.1.

Method for correcting the effects of interdetector band broadening

Chromatographic separations are often characterized by multiple detectors though which the sample flows serially. As the sample flows between detectors, it becomes progressively diluted due to mixing and diffusion. This phenomenon is traditionally called “band broadening” and often results in significant distortion of the calculated physical properties such as molar mass and size. This is particularly true for the case of monodisperse samples such as proteins. A new procedure is described whereby most types of band broadening may be corrected resulting in more accurate calculations of such physical properties. The conventional means for correcting band broadening effects is based upon mathematical procedures that attempt to narrow the broadened peak to its prebroadened form. Such procedures are notoriously unstable and often result in unphysical results such as ringing, negative concentrations, or negative scattered intensities. This disclosure describes a method to characterize the broadening present in a chromatographic system, and an algorithm whereby the narrow peaks of the upstream detector are artificially broadened so that they can be compared to the broadened peaks of the downstream detector. Although the technique results in some loss of resolution, its stability and generality allow it a broad range of application. Examples include correction of RI detector broadening following MALS detectors, correction of MALS broadening following UV detection, correction of viscometric broadening following both MALS and RI detection, and all permeations thereof.
