Description

[Technical field]

[0001] The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a metal part produced by welding metal materials. [Background technology]

[0002] Conventionally, the method of Patent Document 1 is known as a method for manufacturing a metal part by welding metal materials. In this method, a bent welded part is formed at the end of a metal sheet on the weld side by folding back the end on the weld side to increase the apparent thickness of the sheet, and the bent welded part of the metal sheet is fillet welded to a workpiece to form a metal part. It is said that by using this method, the metal sheet can be reliably welded to the workpiece without causing a meltdown phenomenon in which holes are created in the metal sheet. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]

[0003] [Patent Document 1] Patent No. 2782813 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0004] However, when the metal sheet is relatively thick, it is possible to weld the metal sheet to the workpiece without causing a melting phenomenon by using the method of Patent Document 1, but when the metal material to be welded is quite thin, holes often form in the metal material due to the heat input during welding even when using the method of Patent Document 1. Therefore, there is a demand for a method that can reliably weld a metal material to a workpiece while preventing holes from being formed in a metal material with a very thin plate thickness.

[0005] The present invention has been proposed in consideration of the above-mentioned problems, and aims to provide a method for manufacturing metal parts that can reliably weld a metal tubular material to a metal plate to be welded while preventing holes from being created in the metal tubular material, which has a fairly thin plate thickness. [Means for solving the problem]

[0006] The manufacturing method of the metal part of the present invention is characterized by comprising a first step of forming a bent protrusion around the welding side end of a metal tube material having a plate thickness of 1.5 mm or less, the bent protrusion being bent outward at approximately a right angle to the axial direction of the metal tube material and protruding outward by a protrusion amount of 1.5 mm or less from the outer peripheral surface of the metal tube material; a second step of abutting the welding side end of the metal tube material and the bent protrusion against a metal plate to be welded; and a third step of melting the bent protrusion and circumferentially welding the welding side end of the metal tube material to the metal plate to be welded. According to this, the metal tube can be reliably welded to the metal plate to be welded while preventing holes from being formed in the metal tube, which has a relatively thin plate thickness. In addition, by melting and welding the bent protruding portion, undercuts at the welded portion can be prevented, and problems such as appearance anxiety that the weld may come off, strength reduction due to stress concentration, and accumulation of dirt due to undercuts can be eliminated. In addition, by protruding the bent protruding portion outward by an amount of protrusion of 1.5 mm or less, the welded portion can be finished neatly. In addition, since the bent protruding portion is obtained by bending the metal tube, non-filler welding is possible, and the use of welding filler is eliminated, thereby reducing manufacturing costs.

[0007] Furthermore, the method for producing a metal part of the present invention is characterized in that the metal cylindrical material has a plate thickness of 0.3 mm to 1.0 mm. This allows the metal tube material to be reliably welded to the metal plate to be welded while preventing holes from being created in the thin metal tube material, and also more reliably prevents the occurrence of undercuts at the weld points.

[0008] In addition, the manufacturing method for metal parts of the present invention is characterized in that it includes a first step of extrapolating a metal ring plate, which is made of the same material as the metal tube and has a thickness of 1.5 mm or less, into the welding side end of a metal tube material having a thickness of 1.5 mm or less, so as to protrude outward from the outer peripheral surface of the metal tube material at approximately right angles to the axial direction of the metal tube material by a protrusion of 1.5 mm or less; a second step of abutting the welding side end of the metal tube material and the metal ring plate against a metal plate to be welded; and a third step of melting the metal ring plate and circumferentially welding the welding side end of the metal tube material to the metal plate to be welded. This allows the metal tube to be reliably welded to the metal plate to be welded while preventing holes from being created in the metal tube, which has a relatively thin plate thickness. Also, by melting and welding the metal ring plate, undercuts at the welded portion can be prevented, and problems such as appearance anxiety that the tube may come off, strength reduction due to stress concentration, and accumulation of dirt due to undercuts can be eliminated. Also, by protruding the metal ring plate outward by an amount of 1.5 mm or less, the welded portion can be finished neatly.

[0009] Furthermore, the method for producing a metal part of the present invention is characterized in that the metal tube material has a plate thickness of 0.3 mm to 1.0 mm, and the metal ring plate has a plate thickness of 0.3 mm to 1.0 mm. This allows the metal tube material to be reliably welded to the metal plate to be welded while preventing holes from being created in the thin metal tube material, and also more reliably prevents the occurrence of undercuts at the weld points.

[0010] The manufacturing method of the metal part of the present invention is characterized in that in the third step, the welding side end of the metal tube is circumferentially welded to the welded metal plate by laser welding. This makes it possible to more reliably prevent holes from being formed in the thin metal tube material. Effect of the Invention

[0011] According to the method for manufacturing a metal part of the present invention, it is possible to reliably weld a metal tubular material to a metal plate material to be welded while preventing holes from being created in the metal tubular material, which has a fairly thin plate thickness. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0013] [Method for manufacturing metal part according to first embodiment] In the manufacturing method of the metal part 50 according to the first embodiment of the present invention, as shown in FIG. 1, a metal tube material 10p is used that is integrally formed of the same material and has a thickness of 1.5 mm or less. The metal tube body 10p in FIG. 1 is a cylindrical metal tube body 10p with a thickness of 0.3 mm to 1.5 mm, and the thickness of the metal tube body 10p is preferably 0.3 to 1.0 mm, more preferably 0.6 to 0.8 mm. The material of the metal tube body 10p is appropriate within an applicable range, and is preferably, for example, a magnesium alloy, aluminum, an aluminum alloy, stainless steel, titanium, or a titanium alloy. The lower end of the metal tube body 10p is a weld side end portion 11p that is welded to the welded metal plate material 30.

[0014] Then, the welded end 11p of the metal tube 10p is bent by pressing or the like to form a bent protruding portion 12q at the welded end 11q, which is bent outward at a substantially right angle to the axial direction of the metal tube 10p (see FIG. 2). The bent protruding portion 12q is formed to extend and protrude in a substantially right angle direction to the outer peripheral surface 13q of the metal tube 10q, and to protrude outward from the outer peripheral surface 13q of the metal tube 10q by a protruding amount T1 of 1.5 mm or less. The outward protruding amount T1 of the bent protruding portion 12q is preferably 0.3 to 1.0 mm, more preferably 0.6 to 0.8 mm. The thickness of the bent protruding portion 12q is approximately the same as or slightly smaller than the thickness of the metal tube 10p due to the bending deformation process.

[0015] 3, the weld side end 11q and the bent protruding portion 12q of the metal tube 10q are placed on the welded metal plate 30 formed integrally from the same material and abutted against it, and the bent protruding portion 12q is melted by welding to weld the weld side end 11q of the metal tube 10q to the welded metal plate 30 in a circumferential manner. The plate thickness of the welded metal plate 30 is appropriate, but even if the plate thickness of the welded metal plate 30 is a thin dimension corresponding to the metal tubes 10p and 10q, for example, 0.3 to 1.0 mm or 0.6 to 0.8 mm, which is 1.5 mm or less, this welding process prevents the melting phenomenon in which a hole is made in the welded metal plate 30. In addition, the welded metal plate 30 in the illustrated example is flat, but it can also be curved.

[0016] The welding method used is preferably laser welding, which allows for localized heating and allows for quick welding while also making it easy to perform localized welding. When using laser welding, for example, as shown in Figure 3, laser light L is irradiated toward the bent protrusion 12q, and the workpiece composed of the metal tube 10q and the metal plate material 30 to be welded is rotated around the axis of the metal tube 10q to perform the welding process.

[0017] The metal cylindrical body 10 and the welded metal plate material 30, which have been subjected to welding processing such as laser welding, are welded at a circumferential weld 40 formed along the circumferential weld side end portion 11, to obtain the metal part 50 shown in Fig. 4. The outer peripheral surface 41 of the weld 40 of the metal part 50, which is formed so as to melt the bent protrusion 12q, is formed in a fillet shape.

[0018] According to the first embodiment, the metal tube material 10q can be reliably welded to the metal plate material 30 to be welded while preventing holes from being formed in the metal tube material 10q, which has a fairly thin plate thickness. In addition, by melting and welding the bent protruding portion 12q, the occurrence of undercuts at the welded portion can be prevented, and the problems of appearance anxiety that appears to come off due to undercuts, strength reduction due to stress concentration, and accumulation of dust can be eliminated. In addition, by protruding the bent protruding portion 12q outward by a protruding amount of 1.5 mm or less, the finish of the welded portion 40 can be made neat. In addition, since the bent protruding portion 12q is obtained by bending the metal tube material 10p, non-filler welding is possible, and the use of welding filler is eliminated, thereby reducing manufacturing costs.

[0019] Moreover, by setting the plate thickness of the metal tubular material 10p to 0.3 mm to 1.0 mm, the metal tubular material 10q can be reliably welded to the welded metal plate material 30 while preventing holes from being formed in the thin metal tubular material 10q, and the occurrence of undercuts at the welded portion can be more reliably prevented. Furthermore, when the welding side end portion 11q of the metal tubular material 10q is circumferentially welded to the welded metal plate material 30 by laser welding, the thin metal tubular material 10q can be more reliably prevented from being holed.

[0020] [Method for manufacturing metal part according to second embodiment] In the manufacturing method of the metal part 50a according to the first embodiment of the present invention, as shown in FIG. 5, a metal tube 20p having a thickness of 1.5 mm or less is used, which is integrally formed from the same material. The metal tube 20p in FIG. 5 is a cylindrical metal tube 20p having a thickness of 0.3 mm to 1.5 mm, and the thickness of the metal tube 20p is preferably 0.3 to 1.0 mm, more preferably 0.6 to 0.8 mm. The material of the metal tube 20p is appropriate within an applicable range, and is preferably, for example, a magnesium alloy, aluminum, an aluminum alloy, stainless steel, titanium, or a titanium alloy. The lower end of the metal tube 20p is a welded side end 21p to be welded to the welded metal plate 30.

[0021] A metal ring plate 60p made of the same material as the metal tube 20p and having a thickness of 1.5 mm or less is fitted close to or in contact with the welded end 21p of the metal tube 20p so as to protrude outward from the outer circumferential surface 23p of the metal tube 20p at a substantially right angle to the axial direction of the metal tube 20p by a protruding amount of 1.5 mm or less (see FIG. 6). The metal ring plate 60p is arranged to extend and protrude in a substantially right angle direction to the outer circumferential surface 23p of the metal tube 20p, and protrude outward from the outer circumferential surface 23p of the metal tube 20p by a protruding amount T2 of 1.5 mm or less, and is disposed at the tip of the welded end 21p. The outward protruding amount T2 of the metal ring plate 60p is preferably 0.3 to 1.0 mm, more preferably 0.6 to 0.8 mm. The thickness of the metal ring plate 60p is preferably approximately the same as or slightly smaller than the thickness of the metal cylindrical member 20p, for example, preferably 0.3 to 1.0 mm, less than 1.5 mm, and more preferably 0.6 to 0.8 mm.

[0022] 7, the weld side end 21p of the metal tube 20p and the metal ring plate 60p are placed on the welded metal plate 30 integrally formed of the same material and abutted against it, and the metal ring plate 60p is melted by welding to weld the weld side end 21p of the metal tube 20p to the welded metal plate 30 in a circumferential manner. The plate thickness of the welded metal plate 30 in the second embodiment is also appropriate, but even if the plate thickness of the welded metal plate 30 is a thin dimension corresponding to the metal tube 20p, for example, 0.3 to 1.0 mm or 0.6 to 0.8 mm, which is 1.5 mm or less, the melting phenomenon in which a hole is made in the welded metal plate 30 by this welding process is prevented. The welded metal plate 30 in the illustrated example is also flat, but it can also be curved.

[0023] In the second embodiment, too, it is preferable to use laser welding as the welding method, which allows welding in a short time by localized heating and is easy to perform localized welding. When using laser welding, for example, as shown in Figure 7, laser light L is irradiated toward the metal ring plate 60p, and the workpiece consisting of the metal tube material 20p, the metal ring plate 60p, and the welded metal plate material 30 is rotated around the axis of the metal tube material 20p to perform welding.

[0024] The metal cylindrical body 20a and the welded metal plate material 30, which have been subjected to welding processing such as laser welding, are welded at a circumferential welded portion 40a formed along the circumferential weld side end portion 21a, to obtain a metal part 50a shown in Fig. 8. The outer peripheral surface 41a of the welded portion 40a of the metal part 50a, which is formed by melting the metal ring plate 60p, is formed in a fillet shape.

[0025] According to the second embodiment, the metal tube material 20p can be reliably welded to the metal plate material 30 while preventing holes from being made in the metal tube material 20p, which has a relatively thin plate thickness. In addition, by melting and welding the metal ring plate 60p, undercuts at the welded portion can be prevented, and problems such as appearance anxiety that the metal may come off, strength reduction due to stress concentration, and dirt accumulation due to undercuts can be eliminated. In addition, by protruding the metal ring plate 60p outward by an amount of protrusion of 1.5 mm or less, the welded portion 40a can be finished neatly.

[0026] Moreover, by setting the plate thickness of the metal tubular material 20p to 0.3 mm to 1.0 mm and the plate thickness of the metal ring plate 60p to 0.3 mm to 1.0 mm, the metal tubular material 20p can be reliably welded to the welded metal plate 30 while preventing holes from being made in the thin metal tubular material 20p, and the occurrence of undercuts at the welded portions can be more reliably prevented. Furthermore, when the welding side end portion 21p of the metal tubular material 20p is circumferentially welded to the welded metal plate 30 by laser welding, the thin metal tubular material 20p can be more reliably prevented from being perforated.
