Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a mounting structure for a trim member. [Background technology]
[0002] In buildings such as houses, a cantilever-type balcony may be provided on the upper floors (see, for example, Patent Document 1). Such a balcony is provided with a balcony floor portion that forms the floor surface, and a waist wall portion is erected around the periphery of the balcony floor portion. The waist wall portion is composed of a wall material and a waist wall frame provided on the back side of the wall material. Furthermore, in a cantilever-type balcony, a soffit material is provided at the bottom. The soffit material is positioned below the waist wall portion. [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0003] [Patent Document 1] JP 2011-236700 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0004] Here, in the above-mentioned cantilever-type balcony, it is possible to provide a trim that extends along the lower end of the waist wall and covers the space between the wall material of the waist wall and the eaves material. The trim can be configured with multiple trim members divided in the length direction. In this case, for example, it is possible to extend the waist wall frame of the waist wall below the wall material and attach the trim member to the extended part with a screw.
[0005] Incidentally, when attaching each trim material to the waist wall frame as described above, it is conceivable that, due to dimensional variations in the waist wall frame, the gap between adjacent trim materials may become large, or adjacent trim materials may be misaligned in the front-to-back direction (the direction perpendicular to the direction in which the trim materials are lined up in a plan view). In such cases, it is necessary to remove the screws attaching the trim material to the waist wall frame, adjust the position of the trim material, and then reattach the trim material with screws in the adjusted position. However, because the trim materials are long, this type of work must be done by multiple people, which may increase the amount of work required.
[0006] The present invention has been made in consideration of the above circumstances, and its main object is to provide a mounting structure for a trim material that allows the position of the trim material to be adjusted appropriately. [Means for solving the problem]
[0007] In order to solve the above problems, the mounting structure for a trim material of the first invention is applied to a building comprising: a balcony provided on the upper floor of a building, at least a portion of which is a cantilevered portion that protrudes outdoors; a floor portion that forms the floor surface of the balcony; a waist wall portion that is erected around the floor portion at the cantilevered portion and has a wall material and a waist wall frame provided on the back side of the wall material; an eaves material that is provided below the waist wall portion and forms the bottom surface of the cantilevered portion; and a trim portion that extends along the lower end of the waist wall portion and covers the space between the wall material and the eaves material, wherein the trim portion has a plurality of trim materials divided in the length direction, and a plurality of brackets are attached to the back side of the trim material by a first fastening device, and each bracket is positioned below the waist wall frame and fixed to the waist wall frame by a second fastening device, and each bracket is provided with a position adjustment means that allows the position of the trim material relative to the waist wall frame to be adjusted.
[0008] According to the first invention, a plurality of brackets are attached to the back side of the trim material by a first fastener (e.g., a screw). Each bracket is disposed below the waist wall frame of the waist wall section, and is fixed to the waist wall frame by a second fastener (e.g., a bolt). In this case, the trim material can be attached to the waist wall frame via each bracket. Also, each bracket is provided with a position adjustment means that makes it possible to adjust the position of the trim material relative to the waist wall frame. This makes it possible to adjust the position of the trim material in a state where it is attached to the waist wall frame (e.g., in a temporarily attached state). Therefore, it becomes possible to adjust the position of the trim material by one person, which makes it possible to reduce the amount of construction work. Therefore, in this case, it becomes possible to preferably adjust the position of the trim material.
[0009] The mounting structure for the trim material of the second invention is the same as that of the first invention, except that each bracket is formed with a first hole portion for inserting the first fastener and a second hole portion for inserting the second fastener, and in each bracket, either the first hole portion or the second hole portion is made into a long hole that is long in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction in which the trim materials are arranged in a plan view, and the position adjustment means enables the position of the trim material relative to the waist wall frame to be adjusted in the second direction by the long hole.
[0010] As described above, each bracket is attached to the trim material by a first fastener and fixed to the waist wall frame by a second fastener. In the second invention, each bracket is formed with a first hole portion through which the first fastener is inserted and a second hole portion through which the second fastener is inserted. In each bracket, either the first hole portion or the second hole portion is formed as an elongated hole that is long in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction in which the trim materials are arranged in a plan view. The elongated hole makes it possible to adjust the position of the trim material relative to the waist wall frame in the second direction.
[0011] Here, in a configuration in which the trim material is directly attached to the waist wall frame, if a misalignment occurs between adjacent trim materials in the second direction, it is necessary to remove one of the trim materials from the waist wall frame, place a spacer between the one of the trim materials and the waist wall frame, and then attach the one of the trim materials to the waist wall frame again. In other words, it is necessary to use a spacer to eliminate the misalignment in the second direction between adjacent trim materials. However, such position adjustment work is considered to be very time-consuming. In this regard, according to the above-mentioned configuration of the present invention, it is possible to adjust the position of the trim material in the second direction without removing the trim material from the waist wall frame. Therefore, it is possible to easily adjust the position of the trim material in the second direction.
[0012] The mounting structure of the trim material of the third invention is the same as that of the second invention, except that in each bracket, either the first hole portion or the second hole portion is a long hole that is long in the second direction, and the other hole portion is a long hole that is long in the first direction, and the position adjustment means makes it possible to adjust the position of the trim material relative to the waist wall frame in the first direction by making the other hole portion a long hole that is long in the first direction.
[0013] According to the third invention, one of the first hole portion and the second hole portion is an elongated hole that is long in the second direction, and the other hole portion is an elongated hole that is long in the first direction (the arrangement direction of the trim members). Since the other hole portion is an elongated hole that is long in the first direction, the position of the trim member relative to the waist wall frame can be adjusted in the first direction. In this configuration, the position of the trim member relative to the waist wall frame can be adjusted in the first direction in addition to the second direction. Therefore, for example, if the gap between adjacent trim members is large, it is possible to adjust the position of the trim member in the first direction to reduce the gap. This makes it easier to adjust the position of the trim member in both the first and second directions.
[0014] The mounting structure of the trim material of the fourth invention is, in the third invention, the waist wall portion has a first wall portion extending along the edge portion of the protruding side of the cantilever portion, and a pair of second wall portions extending from both ends of the first wall portion in the wall width direction to the opposite side of the protruding side, each of the trim materials is divided in the wall width direction of the first wall portion, and each of the trim materials includes an L-shaped trim material that is L-shaped in a planar view and has a first portion extending along the first wall portion and a second portion extending along the second wall portion, and the brackets are attached to the first and second portions of the L-shaped trim material, and for the bracket of the first portion, the first hole portion is a long hole that is long in the first direction and the second hole portion is a long hole that is long in the second direction, and for the bracket of the second portion, the first hole portion is a long hole that is long in the second direction and the second hole portion is a long hole that is long in the first direction.
[0015] According to the fourth invention, for the bracket attached to the first part of the L-shaped parting material, the first hole portion is a long hole long in the first direction, and the second hole portion is a long hole long in the second direction. Also, for the bracket attached to the second part of the L-shaped parting material, the first hole portion is a long hole long in the second direction, and the second hole portion is a long hole long in the first direction. As a result, in each bracket of the L-shaped parting material, either one of the first hole portion and the second hole portion is a long hole long in the first direction, and the other hole portion is a long hole long in the second direction. Therefore, it is possible to easily adjust the position of the L-shaped parting material in both the first and second directions.
[0016] The mounting structure of the trim material of the fifth invention is, in any of the first to fourth inventions, that the eaves soffit material is fixed to a eaves soffit base material provided on its upper side, and the bracket has a mounting portion to which the eaves soffit base material is attached.
[0017] According to the fifth aspect of the present invention, the bracket has an attachment portion to which the eaves ceiling base material, which serves as the base for the eaves ceiling material, is attached. This allows the bracket for attaching the trim material to also be used for attaching the eaves ceiling base material, thereby enabling the bracket to be used more effectively. [0019] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS An embodiment of the present invention will now be described with reference to the drawings. In this embodiment, a building is a modular building in which a plurality of building units are connected to each other.
[0020] As shown in Fig. 1, a building 10 such as a house comprises a building main body 11 and a roof portion 12 disposed above the building main body 11. The building main body 11 is formed by connecting a plurality of rectangular parallelepiped building units (not shown) to each other. The roof portion 12 is a gabled roof. However, the roof portion 12 does not necessarily have to be a gabled roof, and may be, for example, a hipped roof.
[0021] The building 10 (main building 11) is a two-story building having a first floor 14 as the lower floor and a second floor 15 as the upper floor. A living room 16 is provided on the first floor 14, and a living room 17 is provided on the second floor 15. A balcony 20 is also provided on the second floor 15. The balcony 20 is adjacent to the living room 17, and a partition wall 18 is provided between the balcony 20 and the living room 17. A window section 19 consisting of a bay window is provided on the partition wall 18, and access from the living room 17 to the balcony 20 is possible through the window section 19. A glass door 23 is also provided on the window section 19.
[0022] As shown in Figures 1 and 2(a), the balcony 20 has an inner balcony section 21 provided inside the building main body 11, and a cantilever balcony section 22 provided protruding from the building main body 11 to the outdoors. The cantilever balcony section 22 corresponds to the cantilever section.
[0023] The balcony 20 is provided with a balcony floor portion 24 which forms the floor surface of the balcony 20, and a waist wall portion 25 which is erected on the peripheral edge of the canted balcony portion 22. A handrail portion 26 is provided above the waist wall portion 25. For convenience, the handrail portion 26 is not shown in Figure 2(a). In the following description, the inner space surrounded by the waist wall portion 25 in the canted balcony portion 22 is also referred to as the canted space 27. The balcony floor portion 24 corresponds to the floor portion.
[0024] The waist wall portion 25 is U-shaped in plan view, and has a first wall portion 25a extending along the edge of the protruding side of the canted balcony portion 22, and a pair of second wall portions 25b extending from both ends of the first wall portion 25a in the wall width direction to the opposite side to the protruding side. The first wall portion 25a faces the partition wall 18 across the canted space 27. The wall width of the first wall portion 25a is sufficiently larger than that of each of the second wall portions 25b.
[0025] Next, the configuration of the periphery of the waist wall portion 25 of the balcony 20 will be described with reference to Fig. 3. Fig. 3 corresponds to a cross-sectional view taken along line AA in Fig. 2(a).
[0026] As shown in Figure 3, a floor frame 31 is provided below the balcony floor portion 24, supporting the balcony floor portion 24 from below. The floor frame 31 is formed by assembling a plurality of floor beams 32 into a rectangular frame shape. The floor beams 32 are made, for example, of channel steel with a U-shaped cross section. Although not shown in the figure, the floor frame 31 is fixed onto the ceiling of the building unit of the first floor portion 14.
[0027] The balcony floor section 24 has a floor underlayment 34 laid on the floor frame 31, a floor insulation material 35 laid on the floor underlayment 34, and a waterproof board 36 laid on the floor insulation material 35. The floor underlayment 34 is made of, for example, particle board, and the floor insulation material 35 is made of, for example, expanded polystyrene. The floor surface of the balcony floor section 24 is formed by the upper surface of the waterproof board 36.
[0028] The waist wall section 25 is erected around the balcony floor section 24, and rises from below the balcony floor section 24. The waist wall section 25 has a wall material 38 provided on the outdoor side, and a waist wall frame 39 provided on the back side of the wall material 38 (in other words, the cantilever space 27 side). The wall material 38 is formed of ceramic siding.
[0029] The waist wall frame 39 has waist wall supports 41 provided at predetermined intervals in the wall width direction of the waist wall section 25, upper chord members 42 provided straddling the upper ends of each waist wall support 41, and lower rails 43 bridged between the lower ends of adjacent waist wall supports 41. The waist wall supports 41 are made of lipped channel steel and are arranged with their groove openings facing the cantilever space 27. Each waist wall support 41 extends downward beyond the floor frame 31 and is fixed to the floor frame 31 with bolts. As a result, the waist wall frame 39 and therefore the waist wall section 25 are supported by the floor frame 31.
[0030] The handrail section 26 has a number of handrail posts 45 erected on the waist wall frame 39 of the waist wall section 25. The lower end of each handrail post 45 is fixed to the upper chord 42 of the waist wall frame 39. A coping 46 is provided on the upper end side of each handrail post 45, straddling each handrail post 45.
[0031] A glass panel 48 is provided on the outdoor side of the waist wall section 25 and the handrail section 26. The glass panel 48 is made of transparent tempered glass. The glass panel 48 is disposed between the coping board 46 and a receiving member 49 fixed to the lower end side of the waist wall frame 39, and is supported while being sandwiched between the coping board 46 and the receiving member 49.
[0032] An eaves ceiling material 51 is provided at the bottom of the cantilever balcony section 22. The eaves ceiling material 51 is positioned lower than the lower end of the waist wall section 25. The eaves ceiling material 51 extends from a position below the waist wall section 25 toward the outer wall of the first floor section 14. An eaves ceiling base material 52 is provided on the upper surface side of the eaves ceiling material 51. The eaves ceiling base material 52 is made of a wooden square timber, and extends along the upper surface of the eaves ceiling material 51. The eaves ceiling material 51 is fixed to this eaves ceiling base material 52 with screws or the like.
[0033] A parting portion 55 is provided on the lower end side of the waist wall portion 25, extending along the lower end of the waist wall portion 25. The parting portion 55 is provided so as to cover the space between the wall surface material 38 of the waist wall portion 25 and the eaves material 51 from the outdoor side. The configuration of the parting portion 55 will be described below with reference to Figs. 4 and 5 in addition to Fig. 2(b). For ease of explanation, Fig. 2(b) shows the parting materials 57, 58 constituting the parting portion 55 with hatching. Fig. 4 is an enlarged view of the area around parting portion 55 in Fig. 3.
[0034] As shown in FIG. 2(b), the parting portion 55 extends along the waist wall portion 25 in a U-shape in plan view. The parting portion 55 has a plurality of parting materials 57, 58 divided in the length direction. Each of the parting materials 57, 58 is divided in the wall width direction of the first wall portion 25a of the waist wall portion 25. In this case, the arrangement direction of the parting materials 57, 58 is the wall width direction of the first wall portion 25a. In the following description, the arrangement direction of the parting materials 57, 58 is referred to as the first direction X, and the direction perpendicular to the first direction X in plan view is referred to as the second direction Y.
[0035] Each of the trim members 57, 58 includes a first trim member 57 and a pair of second trim members 58 arranged on both sides of the first trim member 57. The first trim member 57 extends linearly along the first wall portion 25a of the waist wall portion 25. Each of the second trim members 58 extends in an L-shape in plan view along the first wall portion 25a and the second wall portion 25b of the waist wall portion 25. Each of the second trim members 58 has a bilaterally symmetrical shape. Each of the second trim members 58 has a first portion 58a extending along the first wall portion 25a and a second portion 58b extending along the second wall portion 25b. The first portion 58a of each of the second trim members 58 is adjacent to the first trim member 57 in the first direction X. The second trim member 58 corresponds to an L-shaped trim member.
[0036] Each of the trim members 57, 58 is made of aluminum and has the same cross-sectional shape. Therefore, the configuration of each of the trim members 57, 58 will be described below. As shown in Figs. 4 and 5, the trim members 57, 58 have a cross-sectional shape that is approximately U-shaped, and are arranged with their groove openings facing the outdoor side. The trim members 57, 58 have a trim plate portion 61 that extends vertically at the bottom of the groove. The trim plate portion 61 has two upper and lower extending plate portions 64, 65 that extend to the back side (back side). Each of the extending plate portions 64, 65 extends in the length direction of the trim members 57, 58, with the extending plate portion 64 on the upper side and the extending plate portion 65 on the lower side. Each of the extending plate portions 64, 65 has a portion that faces the trim plate portion 61 at a distance, and a screw 63 can be screwed into that portion.
[0037] Each of the parting materials 57, 58 is attached to the waist wall frame 39 of the waist wall portion 25 via a bracket 70. The attachment structure of the parting materials 57, 58 will be described below with reference to Fig. 2(b) and Figs. 4 to 7. In Fig. 6, for the sake of convenience, the waist wall frame 39 is shown by a dashed line.
[0038] As shown in Fig. 2(b) and Figs. 4 to 6, brackets 70 are attached to the back side of each of the parting members 57, 58 with screws 63. A plurality of brackets 70 are attached to each of the parting members 57, 58. In each of the parting members 57, 58, the plurality of brackets 70 are disposed at a distance from each other in the extension direction of the parting members 57, 58. In the second parting member 58, brackets 70 are attached to the first portion 58a and the second portion 58b, respectively.
[0039] 4 to 7, each bracket 70 has a fixed plate 71 and a pair of reinforcing plates 72. The fixed plate 71 is made of a steel plate and has an L-shape, and has a vertical plate portion 71a attached to the back side of the parting materials 57, 58 (more specifically, the parting plate portion 61), and a horizontal plate portion 71b extending from an upper end portion of the vertical plate portion 71a toward the side away from the parting materials 57, 58.
[0040] Each reinforcing plate 72 is made of a steel plate and is provided vertically inside the fixed plate 71. Each reinforcing plate 72 is provided at both ends of the fixed plate 71 in the width direction and is fixed to the fixed plate 71 by welding. Each reinforcing plate 72 is provided with a receiving plate portion 73 at the end opposite the vertical plate portion 71a. The receiving plate portions 73 of each reinforcing plate 72 extend away from each other and are provided parallel to the vertical plate portion 71a. Each receiving plate portion 73 is provided below the reinforcing plate 72.
[0041] A pair of first holes 74 into which the screws 63 can be inserted are formed in the vertical plate portion 71a of the fixing plate 71. Each of the first holes 74 penetrates the vertical plate portion 71a in the thickness direction and is arranged vertically side by side. Each of the first holes 74 is an elongated hole that is long in the width direction of the vertical plate portion 71a. The length of each of the first holes 74 is at least twice as long as the width.
[0042] A screw 63 is inserted into each of the first holes 74, and each screw 63 is screwed into the extending plate portions 64, 65 of the parting materials 57, 58. As a result, the vertical plate portion 71a and therefore the bracket 70 are attached to the parting materials 57, 58 by the screws 63. The screws 63 are, for example, self-drilling screws. The screws 63 correspond to the first fastener.
[0043] Each bracket 70 attached to the trim members 57, 58 is disposed below the waist wall frame 39 of the waist wall section 25. Each bracket 70 is disposed below the waist wall support columns 41 of the waist wall frame 39. A horizontal plate-shaped lower end plate 76 is fixed to the lower end of the waist wall support column 41 by welding. Each bracket 70 is fixed to the lower end plate 76 of the waist wall support column 41 using bolts 78.
[0044] In each bracket 70, a second hole 79 is formed in the horizontal plate portion 71b of the fixing plate 71, through which a bolt 78 can be inserted. The second hole 79 penetrates the horizontal plate portion 71b in the thickness direction, i.e., the up-down direction. The second hole 79 is an elongated hole that is long in the thickness direction of the vertical plate portion 71a. The length of the second hole 79 is at least twice as long as the width. In addition, a hole 81 is formed in the lower end plate 76 of the waist wall support 41, penetrating in the thickness direction. A nut 82 is welded and fixed to the upper surface of the lower end plate 76 at a position corresponding to the hole 81.
[0045] A bolt 78 is inserted from below into the second hole 79 of bracket 70 and the hole 81 of lower end plate 76. In this inserted state, bolt 78 is fastened to a nut 82. As a result, bracket 70 is fixed to lower end plate 76 and ultimately to waist wall frame 39 using bolt 78. Then, parting materials 57, 58 are attached to waist wall frame 39 via each bracket 70 fixed in this way. The bolt 78 corresponds to a second fastener.
[0046] An eaves soffit material 51 is provided below each bracket 70. In this case, each bracket 70 is disposed between the eaves soffit material 51 and the waist wall frame 39. The eaves soffit base material 52 supporting the eaves soffit material 51 extends along the parting portion 55 and is attached to each receiving plate portion 73 of the bracket 70 with a screw or the like. Each receiving plate portion 73 corresponds to an attachment portion.
[0047] As described above, in each bracket 70, the first hole 74 through which the screw 63 is inserted and the second hole 79 through which the bolt 78 is inserted are each formed as an elongated hole. In this embodiment, these holes 74, 79 are formed as elongated holes, so that the mounting positions of the parting materials 57, 58 relative to the waist wall frame 39 can be adjusted. Therefore, the configuration related to the position adjustment of the parting materials 57, 58 will be described below.
[0048] First, the position adjustment of the first parting material 57 will be described. As shown in Figs. 4 to 7, in each bracket 70 attached to the first parting material 57, the first hole portion 74 is an elongated hole that is long in the first direction X (the arrangement direction of the parting materials 57, 58). In this case, the elongated hole allows the screw 63 to be displaced in the first direction X in the first hole portion 74. This makes it possible to adjust the position of the first parting material 57 in the first direction X relative to each bracket 70, and therefore makes it possible to adjust the position of the first parting material 57 in the first direction X relative to the waist wall frame 39 to which each bracket 70 is fixed.
[0049] Furthermore, in each bracket 70 of the first trim member 57, the second hole portion 79 is an elongated hole that is long in the second direction Y. In this case, the elongated hole allows the bolt 78 to be displaced in the second direction Y at the second hole portion 79. This makes it possible to displace each bracket 70 in the second direction Y relative to the waist wall frame 39, and as a result, it becomes possible to adjust the position of the first trim member 57 to which each bracket 70 is attached in the second direction Y relative to the waist wall frame 39.
[0050] Next, the position adjustment of the second trim member 58 will be described. In the bracket 70 (hereinafter referred to as bracket 70A) attached to the first portion 58a of the second trim member 58, the first hole portion 74 is an elongated hole that is long in the first direction X. In the bracket 70 (hereinafter referred to as bracket 70B) attached to the second portion 58b of the second trim member 58, the second hole portion 79 is an elongated hole that is long in the first direction X. In this case, the first hole portion 74 (elongated hole) of the bracket 70A allows the screw 63 to be displaced in the first direction X at the first hole portion 74. Therefore, it is possible to displace the first portion 58a of the second trim member 58 in the first direction X relative to each bracket 70A and thus the waist wall frame 39. In addition, the second hole portion 79 (elongated hole) of the bracket 70B allows the bolt 78 to be displaced in the first direction X at the second hole portion 79. Therefore, it becomes possible to displace the second portion 58b of the second parting material 58 together with the bracket 70B in the first direction X relative to the waist wall frame 39. Therefore, in this case, both the first portion 58a and the second portion 58b can be displaced in the first direction X relative to the waist wall frame 39, and as a result, it becomes possible to adjust the position of the second parting material 58 in the first direction X relative to the waist wall frame 39.
[0051] In addition, in the bracket 70A of the first portion 58a of the second trim material 58, the second hole portion 79 is an elongated hole that is long in the second direction Y, and in the bracket 70B of the second portion 58b, the first hole portion 74 is an elongated hole that is long in the second direction Y. In this case, the second hole portion 79 (elongated hole) of the bracket 70A allows the bolt 78 to be displaced in the second direction Y at the second hole portion 79. Therefore, it is possible to displace the first portion 58a of the second trim material 58 together with the bracket 70A in the second direction Y relative to the waist wall frame 39. In addition, the first hole portion 74 (elongated hole) of the bracket 70B allows the screw 63 to be displaced in the second direction Y at the first hole portion 74. Therefore, it is possible to displace the second portion 58b of the second trim material 58 in the second direction Y relative to the bracket 70B and therefore the waist wall frame 39. Therefore, in this case, both the first part 58a and the second part 58b can be displaced in the second direction Y relative to the waist wall frame 39, and as a result, the position of the second trim material 58 can be adjusted in the second direction Y relative to the waist wall frame 39.
[0052] As described above, because the holes 74, 79 of the bracket 70 are elongated holes, the position of each of the parting materials 57, 58 can be adjusted in either the first direction X or the second direction Y relative to the waist wall frame 39. Therefore, it can be said that each bracket 70 in which the elongated holes (holes 74, 79) are formed is provided with a position adjustment means for adjusting the position (mounting position) of the parting materials 57, 58 relative to the waist wall frame 39.
[0053] Next, a description will be given of the procedure for attaching each of the trim members 57, 58 to the waist wall frame 39 via the brackets 70. This procedure is to be performed by a worker on scaffolding before the eaves soffit material 51 is installed.
[0054] First, the brackets 70 are attached to the respective parting materials 57, 58. This work is performed, for example, in a manufacturing factory.
[0055] Next, an operation is performed in which each of the trim members 57, 58 is temporarily attached to the waist wall frame 39 via the brackets 70. This temporary attachment operation is performed, for example, in the order of the second trim member 58 → the first trim member 57 → the second trim member 58.
[0056] First, in the temporary attachment work of the second parting material 58, each bracket 70 attached to the second parting material 58 is temporarily fixed to the waist wall frame 39 with the bolts 78. Thereby, the second parting material 58 is temporarily attached to the waist wall frame 39 via each bracket 70. The remaining first parting materials 57 and second parting materials 58 are also temporarily attached to the waist wall frame 39 via each bracket 70 using the same procedure.
[0057] Next, with each of the parting materials 57, 58 in a temporarily attached state, an operation is performed to adjust the position of each of the parting materials 57, 58 relative to the waist wall frame 39. In this operation, the parting materials 57, 58 are adjusted in the first direction X relative to the waist wall frame 39 so that the gap between adjacent parting materials 57, 58 is reduced, and the parting materials 57, 58 are adjusted in the second direction Y relative to the waist wall frame 39 so that no misalignment occurs in the front-to-back direction (i.e., the second direction Y) between adjacent parting materials 57, 58.
[0058] For example, when adjusting the position of the second parting material 58 in the first direction X or the second direction Y relative to the waist wall frame 39, the screws 63 and bolts 78 are slightly loosened, and the second parting material 58 is displaced in the first direction X or the second direction Y relative to the waist wall frame 39 to adjust its position. This position adjustment work can be done by a single worker, since it is performed in a temporary attachment state of the second parting material 58. Similarly, with regard to the first parting material 57, the screws 63 and bolts 78 are slightly loosened, and the first parting material 57 is displaced in the first direction X or the second direction Y relative to the waist wall frame 39 to adjust its position.
[0059] After adjusting the position of each of the trim materials 57, 58, the screws 63 and bolts 78 of each bracket 70 are tightened. This allows each of the trim materials 57, 58 to be attached (fully attached) to the waist wall frame 39 via the bracket 70. After each of the trim materials 57, 58 has been attached, the eaves ceiling base material 52 is attached to the receiving plate portion 73 of the bracket 70, and then the eaves ceiling material 51 is attached to the eaves ceiling base material 52.
[0060] According to the configuration of this embodiment described in detail above, the following excellent effects can be obtained.
[0061] A plurality of brackets 70 are attached to the back side of the trim members 57, 58 with screws 63. Each bracket 70 is disposed below the waist wall frame 39 of the waist wall portion 25 and is fixed to the waist wall frame 39 with a bolt 78. In this case, the trim members 57, 58 can be attached to the waist wall frame 39 via each bracket 70. In addition, each bracket 70 is provided with a position adjustment means (specifically, each hole portion 74, 79 consisting of a long hole) that allows the position of the trim members 57, 58 to be adjusted relative to the waist wall frame 39. This makes it possible to adjust the position of the trim members 57, 58 in a state where the trim members 57, 58 are attached to the waist wall frame 39 (for example, in a temporary attachment state). Therefore, it becomes possible to adjust the position of the trim members 57, 58 by one person, which makes it possible to reduce the amount of work. Therefore, in this case, it becomes possible to suitably adjust the position of the trim members 57, 58.
[0062] Of the trim members 57, 58, in each bracket 70 attached to the linear first trim member 57, the first hole portion 74 for inserting the screw 63 is a long hole that is long in the first direction X in which the trim members 57, 58 are aligned. The long hole makes it possible to adjust the position of the first trim member 57 relative to the waist wall frame 39 in the first direction X. As a result, when the gap between adjacent trim members 57, 58 is large, it is possible to adjust the position of the first trim member 57 in the first direction X to reduce the gap.
[0063] Furthermore, in each bracket 70 attached to the first parting material 57, the second hole portion 79 for inserting the bolt 78 is an elongated hole that is long in a second direction Y that is perpendicular to the first direction X in a plan view. The elongated hole makes it possible to adjust the position of the first parting material 57 relative to the waist wall frame 39 in the second direction Y. As a result, if there is a misalignment in the second direction Y between adjacent parting materials 57, 58, the misalignment can be eliminated by adjusting the position of the first parting material 57 in the second direction Y.
[0064] In this way, the position of the first parting material 57 can be adjusted in both the first direction X and the second direction Y. Moreover, such position adjustment can be performed in a state in which the first parting material 57 is attached to the waist wall frame 39 via each bracket 70, as described above. Therefore, the position of the first parting material 57 can be easily adjusted in both the first direction X and the second direction Y.
[0065] Of the trim members 57 and 58, in each bracket 70A attached to the first portion 58a of the second trim member 58 having an L-shape in plan view, the first hole portion 74 is an elongated hole elongated in the first direction X, and the second hole portion 79 is an elongated hole elongated in the second direction Y. In addition, in the bracket 70B attached to the second portion 58b of the second trim member 58, the first hole portion 74 is an elongated hole elongated in the second direction Y, and the second hole portion 79 is an elongated hole elongated in the first direction X. As a result, in each bracket 70A and 70B of the second trim member 58, either one of the first hole portion 74 and the second hole portion 79 is an elongated hole elongated in the first direction X, and the other is an elongated hole elongated in the second direction Y. Therefore, the position of the second trim member 58 can be easily adjusted in both the first direction X and the second direction Y.
[0066] The bracket 70 has a receiving plate portion 73 to which the eaves ceiling base material 52, which serves as the base for the eaves ceiling material 51, is attached. This allows the bracket 70, which is used to attach the trim materials 57, 58, to also be used to attach the eaves ceiling base material 52, allowing the bracket 70 to be used effectively.
[0067] Furthermore, since the bracket 70 has the receiving plate portion 73, it is convenient that the eaves soffit material 51 can be installed immediately after the trim materials 57, 58 are attached to the waist wall frame 39 via the bracket 70.
[0068] The present invention is not limited to the above embodiment, and may be implemented, for example, as follows.
[0069] (1) In the above embodiment, both the first hole portion 74 and the second hole portion 79 of each bracket 70 attached to the first trim member 57 are elongated holes, but only one of these holes 74, 79 may be elongated. For example, it is conceivable that only the first hole portion 74 is an elongated hole that is long in the first direction X, and the second hole portion 79 is a round hole. In this case, the position of the first trim member 57 relative to the waist wall frame 39 is adjustable only in the first direction X.
[0070] Also, only the second hole portion 79 may be an elongated hole that is long in the second direction Y, and the first hole portion 74 may be a round hole. In this case, the position of the first trim material 57 will be adjustable only in the second direction Y relative to the waist wall frame 39. Also, only the second hole portion 79 may be an elongated hole that is long in the first direction X, and the first hole portion 74 may be a round hole. In that case, the position of the first trim material 57 will be adjustable only in the first direction X relative to the waist wall frame 39.
[0071] (2) In the above embodiment, the bracket 70A attached to the first portion 58a of the second trim member 58 has the first hole 74 as a long hole elongated in the first direction X and the second hole 79 as a long hole elongated in the second direction Y, and the bracket 70B attached to the second portion 58b has the first hole 74 as a long hole elongated in the second direction Y and the second hole 79 as a long hole elongated in the first direction X, but this may be changed. For example, the bracket 70A of the first portion 58a may have the first hole 74 as a long hole elongated in the first direction X and the second hole 79 as a round hole, and the bracket 70B of the second portion 58b may have the first hole 74 as a round hole and the second hole 79 as a long hole elongated in the first direction X. In this case, the position of the second trim member 58 is adjustable only in the first direction X with respect to the waist wall frame 39.
[0072] Furthermore, for bracket 70A of first portion 58a, the first hole 74 may be a round hole and the second hole 79 may be a long hole that is long in the second direction Y, and for bracket 70B of second portion 58b, the first hole 74 may be a long hole that is long in the second direction Y and the second hole 79 may be a round hole. In this case, the position of the second trim material 58 is adjustable only in the second direction Y relative to the waist wall frame 39.
[0073] (3) In the above embodiment, the holes 74, 79 of the bracket 70 are elongated holes to adjust the positions of the trim members 57, 58 relative to the waist wall frame 39, but the position adjustment means for adjusting the positions of the trim members 57, 58 is not necessarily limited to this. For example, the bracket is configured to have a first member fixed to the trim members 57, 58 and a second member fixed to the waist wall frame 39, and these members are fixed by bolts and nuts. The first member and the second member are each formed with a bolt insertion hole, and one of the insertion holes is an elongated hole that is long in the first direction X. The elongated hole allows the first member and the second member to be relatively displaced in the first direction X. According to this configuration, the positions of the trim members 57, 58 relative to the waist wall frame 39 can be adjusted in the first direction X by displacing the first member and the second member of the bracket relative to the first direction X.
[0074] Moreover, one of the insertion holes of the first member and the second member may be an elongated hole that is long in the second direction Y. In this case, by relatively displacing the first member and the second member in the second direction Y, the position of the parting materials 57, 58 relative to the waist wall frame 39 can be adjusted in the second direction Y. Also, one of the insertion holes of the first member and the second member may be an elongated hole that is long in the first direction X, and the other may be an elongated hole that is long in the second direction Y. In that case, the position of the parting materials 57, 58 relative to the waist wall frame 39 can be adjusted in both the first direction X and the second direction Y.
[0075] (4) In the above embodiment, the screw 63 is used as the first fastener and the bolt 78 is used as the second fastener. However, a fastener other than a screw may be used as the first fastener and a fastener other than a bolt may be used as the second fastener.
[0076] (5) In the above embodiment, only a part of the balcony 20 is a cantilevered portion (cantilevered balcony portion 22), but there are also cases where the entire balcony is a cantilevered portion. In this case, the present invention may be applied to such balconies.
[0077] (6) In the above embodiment, the present invention is applied to the cantilevered portion of a balcony located on the second floor of building 10, but the present invention may also be applied to the cantilevered portion of a balcony located on the third floor or higher of a building.
[0078] (7) In the above embodiment, the present invention is applied to a modular building. However, the present invention can also be applied to buildings of other structures, such as buildings constructed using a steel frame construction method. [Explanation of symbols]
