Description

[Technical field]

[0001] The present invention relates to a zipper tape used in automatic filling and packaging, which involves forming a zippered bag and filling the zippered bag with contents, a packaging bag with zipper tape, and an automatic filling and packaging method. [Background technology]

[0002] Conventionally, in various applications such as food packaging, pharmaceutical packaging, and miscellaneous goods packaging, automatic filling and packaging has been widely used as a method for packaging contents, in which an automatic machine is used to continuously form a packaging bag and place the contents therein (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

[0003] In addition, in this type of automatic filling and packaging, there is also known a device that corresponds to a packaging bag with zipper tape, which has a zipper tape on one opening so that it can be opened and closed repeatedly after being opened once.

[0004] As shown in Figures 3(a)-(b), the automatic filling and packaging of packaging bags 9 with zipper tape involves sending a sheet-like film 2, one surface of which has zipper tape 1 cut to a predetermined length and attached at predetermined intervals, to the forming and vertical sealing section 3, where the film 2 is curved into a cylindrical shape and both side edges of the film 2 are overlapped. The overlapped parts are thermally welded to form a continuous cylindrical packaging material (hereinafter referred to as cylindrical packaging material 4), which is sent downward. Contents 6 are continuously poured into this cylindrical packaging material 4 from a hopper 5 located above the forming and vertical sealing section 3, and the cylindrical packaging material 4 is filled.

[0005] Then, as shown in FIGS. 3(b) to (c) and FIG. 4, the tubular packaging material 4 filled with the contents 6 is sent to a horizontal sealing and cutting section 7.

[0006] 4, in the horizontal sealing and cutting section 7, heat sealing members 8a, 8a and heat sealing members 8b, 8b are arranged in two tiers, one above the other, and the tubular packaging material 4 is clamped at predetermined positions by a pair of heat sealing members 8a, 8a heated to a predetermined temperature from both sides, the overlapped film 2 is heat-sealed to seal the upper end of the lower packaging bag 9 and the lower end of the tubular packaging material 4, and the tubular packaging material 4 is clamped at predetermined positions by a pair of heat sealing members 8b, 8b heated to a predetermined temperature from both sides, and the zipper tape 1 is heat-sealed to the film 2 constituting the bag body 14. In the figure, reference numeral 17 denotes a female claw member, reference numeral 18 denotes a male claw member, and reference numeral 20 denotes a sealing layer.

[0007] Furthermore, when the zipper tape 1 is incorporated in automatic filling and packaging, when the position where the zipper tape 1 is placed on the tubular packaging material 4 is clamped by a pair of heat sealing members 8b, 8b heated from both sides, due to the structure of the automatic filling and packaging machine, it is not possible to insert a guide or the like to prevent welding of the inner surfaces of the male and female zipper members 10, 11 that make up the zipper tape 1 (hereinafter referred to as inner surface welding) to each other.

[0008] Conventionally, therefore, a low-temperature sealing resin is provided in the sealing layer 20 that is welded to the film 2, and a high-melting-point resin is placed on the inner surface of the zipper to create a temperature difference, making it difficult for the inner surface to weld.

[0009] When the zippered packaging bag 9 is clamped by the heat sealing members 8a, 8a, it is cut off from the lower end of the tubular packaging material 4 and is sealed with the contents 6 contained therein.

[0010] On the other hand, in this type of packaging bag 9 with zipper tape, when the films 2 facing the opening overlap each other, there is no space for inserting fingers into the opening, which makes opening the bag time-consuming.

[0011] Therefore, in this type of zipper tape 1, protruding ribs 13, 13... have been provided on the opening side of the bag body of the opposing base portions 12, 12, and the ribs 13, 13... keep the distance between the pair of base portions 12, 12 that make up the zipper tape 1 constant, thereby providing a gap at the opening of the bag body for inserting a finger (see, for example, Patent Document 2). [0012] [Patent Document 1] JP 2010-202201 A [Patent Document 2] JP 2007-119043 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0013] However, in the conventional technology as described above, when performing automatic filling and packaging using packaging bags with zipper tape, if the line speed (bag production speed) is increased to reduce manufacturing costs, it is not enough to simply adopt a structure in which a low-temperature sealing resin is applied to the sealing layer 20 that is welded to the film 2 and a high-melting point resin is applied to the inner surface of the zipper to create a temperature difference, and there is a problem that the temperature adjustment of the heat sealing members 8b, 8b must be strictly set.

[0028] [Figure 1] 1 is a cross-sectional view showing an example of a zipper tape according to the present invention. [Diagram 2] FIG. 4 is an enlarged cross-sectional view of a rib portion protruding from the surface of the base portion of the embodiment; [Diagram 3] 1(a) to 1(d) are schematic side views showing the procedure of an automatic filling and packaging method. [Figure 4] 4 is a schematic cross-sectional view showing an outline of a thermal welding operation of the zipper tape portion of the embodiment of the present invention. FIG. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0029] Next, the packaging bag with zipper tape and the zipper tape according to the present invention will be described with reference to the embodiment shown in Fig. 1 to Fig. 4. The same components as those in the above-mentioned conventional example will be described with the same reference numerals.

[0030] The packaging bag 9 with zipper tape comprises a bag body 14 made of a synthetic resin film 2 in which the contents 6 are contained, and a zipper tape 1 provided at one end of the bag body 14, and can be opened and closed by the zipper tape 1 after opening.

[0031] The bag body 14 is formed by overlapping both side edges of a single synthetic resin film 2 and heat welding (vertical seal 15) to form a cylindrical tubular packaging material 4, and both ends of the tubular packaging material 4 are sealed by heat welding (horizontal seals 16, 16) to form a bag shape.

[0032] 1 and 2, the zipper tape 1 comprises a pair of tape-like base portions 12, 12 facing each other with a gap therebetween, and an engagement portion in which female and male claw members 17, 18 protruding from the opposing surfaces of the base portions 12, 12 respectively engage with each other in a detachable manner, and each base portion 12, 12 is welded to the film 2 constituting the packaging bag 9, and the packaging bag 9 is opened and closed by attaching and detaching the female and male claw members 17, 18. In this embodiment, the members from which the female and male claw members 17, 18 protrude are called female and male zipper members 10, 11, respectively.

[0033] In addition, this zipper tape 1 is provided with one or more protruding ribs 13, 13... that protrude toward the surface side of the opposing base portions 12, 12 and run continuously in the longitudinal direction, and the ribs 13, 13... keep the distance between the pair of base portions 12, 12 that make up the zipper tape 1 constant and provide a gap for inserting a finger into the opening of the packaging bag 9.

[0034] The base parts 12, 12 have a two-layer structure consisting of a base body 19 formed of a resin with a high melting point such as high density polyethylene, and a seal layer 20 arranged on the back side (film 2 side) of the base body 19 and made of a resin with a lower melting point than the resin constituting the base body 19, and the male and female claw members 17, 18 and the ribs 13, 13... are integrally formed on the opposing surface side of the base body 19 from a resin with a high melting point of about 130 to 135°C such as high density polyethylene or polypropylene, similar to the base body 19. The melting point is measured based on JIS K7121 (Method of measuring transition temperature of plastics) (hereinafter the same).

[0035] The male claw member 18 protrudes from the surface of the base body 19 and comprises a protruding male claw support portion 21 that continues in the longitudinal direction of the base body 19, and an arrowhead-shaped insertion hook portion 22 that is integrally formed at the tip of the male claw support portion 21, with the male claw support portion 21 and the insertion hook portion 22 forming an arrow-shaped cross section.

[0036] The female claw member 17 is constituted by a pair of female claw bodies 23, 23 protruding from the surface of the base body 19, and the male claw member 18 is inserted between the two female claw bodies 23, 23.

[0037] The female claw bodies 23, 23 have their base ends supported by the base body 19, and are provided with a hook support portion 24 that is continuous in the longitudinal direction of the base body 19, and hook portions 25 that extend inward from the tips of the hook support portions 24, and the male claw member 18 is inserted between the two hook portions 25, 25, so that the hook portion 25 engages with the insertion hook portion 22.

[0038] The form of the engaging portion consisting of the male and female claw members 17, 18 is not limited to the above-mentioned embodiment, and may have any shape that functions as an engaging portion constituting the zipper tape 1.

[0039] The ribs 13, 13... protrude from the surface of the base body 19 at a predetermined height (hereinafter referred to as the rib protrusion height H), are formed as protrusions with continuous triangular cross-sections in the longitudinal direction of the base body 19, and are arranged in parallel to each other at a predetermined interval.

[0040] The ribs 13, 13... are formed so that the rib protrusion height H can ensure a predetermined strength (hereinafter referred to as sealing performance) between the sealing layer 20 and the film 2 constituting the packaging bag 9 and is within a predetermined range, i.e., 0.18 mm to 0.26 mm, in which welding between the inner surfaces of the male and female zipper members 10, 11 constituting the zipper tape 1 (hereinafter referred to as inner surface welding) is difficult. From the viewpoint of sealing performance and prevention of inner surface welding, the predetermined range is preferably 0.20 to 0.24 mm.

[0041] The shape of the ribs 13, 13 . . . is not limited to that in the above embodiment, and may be a rectangular cross section or a cross section with a semicircular tip in addition to a triangular cross section.

[0042] The sealing layer 20 is formed as a thin layer having a thickness of about 0.02 to 0.03 mm, and is provided with protruding sealing protrusions 26, 26... corresponding to the shape of the ribs 13, 13... on the rear side of the ribs 13, 13....

[0043] The sealing protrusions 26, 26... protrude from the surface of the base body 19 by a predetermined height range (hereinafter referred to as the sealing portion protrusion height h), are formed as protrusions with continuous semicircular arc cross-sections in the longitudinal direction of the base body 19, and are arranged in parallel to each other at a predetermined interval.

[0044] The sealing protrusions 26, 26... are formed to have a predetermined range, i.e., 0.00 mm to 0.05 mm, which can ensure sealing properties and prevent inner surface welding of the male and female zipper members 10, 11 that constitute the zipper tape 1. From the viewpoint of sealing properties and prevention of inner surface welding, the predetermined range is preferably 0.00 to 0.03 mm.

[0045] Here, the state in which the sealing portion protrusion height h is 0.00 mm to 0.05 mm means that, generally, when ribs 13, 13... are provided on the chuck member, there is a risk of a dent occurring due to the influence of the mold shape during molding of the chuck member, but in the present invention, such a dent does not occur and the sealing protrusion 26 is formed in a reliably flat or protruding state with respect to the back surface of the sealing layer 20.

[0046] The ribs 13, 13... and the seal protrusions 26, 26... are formed with a combination of the rib protrusion height H and the seal protrusion height h that are within the above-mentioned predetermined range, thereby achieving suitable sealing properties and preventing inner surface welding in a predetermined sealing temperature range (105 to 120°C), which is wider than the conventional general sealing temperature (105 to 110°C). Note that the sealing temperature refers to the actual measured value when a thermocouple contact measurement is performed on the heat seal members 8b, 8b.

[0047] Next, a description will be given of an automatic filling method using the above-mentioned zipper tape 1. The procedure of the automatic filling method is similar to the procedure shown in Figures 3 and 4, and this embodiment will also be described based on Figures 3 and 4.

[0048] As shown in FIG. 3, this automatic filling method uses a vertical pillow packaging machine, in which film 2 constituting a packaging bag 9 is fed from a drum to forming and vertical sealing section 3, where it is curved into a cylindrical shape and both side edges of film 2 are overlapped. The overlapped parts are thermally welded to form a continuous cylindrical packaging material (hereinafter referred to as tubular packaging material 4) which is fed downward, and contents 6 are continuously poured into this tubular packaging material 4 from hopper 5 to fill it.

[0049] On one surface of the film 2 wound around the drum, that is, the surface which will become the inner surface of the packaging bag 9, zipper tapes 1, 1 . . . are cut to a predetermined length and fixed at predetermined intervals.

[0050] Then, as shown in FIGS. 3(b) to (c) and FIG. 4, the tubular packaging material 4 filled with the contents 6 is sent to a horizontal sealing and cutting section 7.

[0051] As shown in FIG. 4, in the horizontal sealing and cutting section 7, heat sealing members 8a, 8a and heat sealing members 8b, 8b are arranged in two rows, one above the other, and predetermined positions of the tubular packaging material 4 are clamped from both sides by a pair of heat sealing members 8a, 8a heated to a predetermined temperature, and the overlapped film 2 is heat-sealed to seal the upper end of the lower packaging bag 9 and the lower end of the tubular packaging material 4. At the same time, predetermined positions of the tubular packaging material 4 are clamped from both sides by a pair of heat sealing members 8b, 8b heated to a predetermined temperature (105 to 120°C), and the zipper tape 1 is heat-sealed to the film 2 that constitutes the bag body 14.

[0052] In this case, the base body 19, the ribs 13, 13... and the female and male claw members 17, 18 of the zipper tape 1 are formed from a high melting point resin, and the sealing layer 20 is formed from a low melting point resin. In addition, the ribs 13, 13... and the sealing protrusions 26, 26... are formed in a combination such that the rib protrusion height H and the seal portion protrusion height h are each within the above-mentioned specified range. As a result, suitable sealing properties and prevention of inner surface welding can be achieved in a specified sealing temperature range (105 to 120°C), which is wider than the conventional general sealing temperature (105 to 110°C), without the need for a guide or the like to prevent inner surface welding.

[0053] Table 1 shows the results of verifying the effect of the rib protrusion height H on the sealing performance and inner surface welding.

[0054] In this experiment, horizontal sealing was performed at different sealing temperatures for zipper tapes 1 according to the present invention with different rib protrusion heights H, and the seal strength (sealability) and the presence or absence of inner surface welding were examined. Regarding the sealability, when the seal strength (N / 15mm) was 15.0 (N / 15mm) or less, it was deemed to be insufficient, and when it exceeded the film strength and the film 2 was damaged, the numerical value was omitted. In this experiment, the seal protrusion height h of each zipper seal 1 was 0.03 mm.

[0055] The evaluation sample was prepared using a "Heat Seal Tester" manufactured by Tester Sangyo Co., Ltd. A laminate film of nylon 15 μm / linear low-density polyethylene 60 μm (total thickness 75 μm) was used as film 2, and the zipper tape 1 and film 2 were heat-welded with a sealing time of 1.0 second and a sealing pressure of 0.1 MPa.

[0056] In addition, the seal strength (N / 15mm) was measured by carrying out a tensile test on the above evaluation sample at a tensile speed of 300mm / min using a tensile tester manufactured by A&D Co., Ltd., and measuring the seal strength (N / 15mm) between the zipper tape 1 and the film 2 per 15mm width.

[0057] [Table 1]

[0058] As shown in Table 1, the higher the rib protrusion height H, the more difficult it is to weld the inner surface, but the sealing performance is inferior, and the lower the rib protrusion height H, the more difficult it is to weld the inner surface, but the sealing performance is inferior.

[0059] On the other hand, when the rib protrusion height H is in the range of 0.18 to 0.26 mm, the sealing performance is ensured at any temperature within the sealing temperature range of 105° C. to 120° C., and the inner surface welding can be prevented.

[0060] Table 2 shows the results of verifying the effect of the seal protrusion height h on the sealing performance and inner surface welding.

[0061] In this experiment, horizontal sealing was performed at different sealing temperatures for zipper tapes 1 according to the present invention with different sealing portion protrusion heights h, and the seal strength (sealability) and the presence or absence of inner surface welding were examined. Regarding the sealability, when the seal strength (N / 15mm) was 15.0 (N / 15mm) or less, it was deemed to be insufficient, and when it exceeded the film strength and the film 2 was damaged, the numerical value was omitted. In this experiment, the rib protrusion height H of each zipper tape 1 was 0.2 mm.

[0062] [Table 2]

[0063] As shown in Table 2, the smaller the protruding height h of the seal portion, the higher the sealing performance and the more difficult it tends to be to cause inner surface welding.

[0064] On the other hand, when the seal protrusion height h is in the range of 0.00 to 0.05 mm, the sealability is ensured at any temperature within the sealing temperature range of 105° C. to 120° C., and inner surface welding can be prevented.

[0065] In other words, by setting the rib protrusion height H in the range of 0.18 to 0.26 mm, and the seal portion protrusion height h in the range of 0.00 to 0.05 mm, and forming the ribs 13, 13... and the seal protrusions 26, 26... in a combination that falls within these specified ranges, suitable sealing properties can be ensured and inner surface welding can be prevented, so that the zipper tape 1 can be suitably heat-welded to the film 2 without strict settings as long as the sealing temperature is within the specified range (105 to 120°C).
