Abstract
Description
[Technical field]
[0001] The present invention relates to a jig and a method for filling a gap, and more particularly to a jig and a method for filling a gap used in filling a gap between two block pieces. [Background technology]
[0002] It is generally known that a filling material such as mortar is filled into the gap between two block pieces arranged adjacent to each other (see, for example, Patent Document 1). [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]
[0003] [Patent Document 1] Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 9-291506 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0004] One possible method for filling the gap between the two block pieces is to apply masking tape to the sides of the two block pieces so as to cover the gap from the sides, fill the gap with filling material, and then peel off the masking tape. However, the above method requires the steps of applying the masking tape and then peeling off the masking tape, which is time-consuming.
[0005] Therefore, the present invention has been made in consideration of the above-mentioned problems, and its object is to provide a jig for gap filling work and a gap filling method that can efficiently fill the gap between two block pieces. [Means for solving the problem]
[0006] The above-mentioned object is achieved by the gap filling jig of the present invention, which is a gap filling jig used when filling a gap between two block pieces arranged adjacent to each other with filling material, and which comprises a plate-shaped main body, an opening formed in the main body and extending in a predetermined direction, and an extension portion extending downward from the main body outside the opening in the predetermined direction, with the main body placed on the two block pieces and the extension portion positioned outside the longitudinal direction of the gap with the extension direction of the opening aligned with the longitudinal direction of the gap when the two block pieces are viewed from above and the gap and the opening overlap vertically.
[0007] In the gap filling jig of the present invention, a filler material can be injected into the gap through the opening during gap filling work. At that time, the main body is placed on the two block pieces, and the extension is located outside the longitudinal direction of the gap, so that the filler material filled in the gap has a desired shape along the inner surfaces of the main body and the extension, and construction quality is appropriately ensured. This makes the work easier and reduces the effort (man-hours). As a result, the gap between the two block pieces can be efficiently filled.
[0008] Additionally, each of the main body portion and the extension portion may be made of a metal plate. With the above configuration, the strength of the jig used in the gap filling operation is improved and problems such as breakage of the jig during the gap filling operation are suppressed, resulting in the gap between the two block pieces being efficiently filled.
[0009] The opening may also be a rectangular slit. With the above configuration, the filling material can be injected while changing the injection position along the longitudinal direction of the slit, which allows the filling material to be distributed throughout the gap in a shorter time than when the filling material is injected only from a predetermined injection position, thereby more efficiently filling the gap between the two block pieces.
[0010] In addition, the extension portion has a pair of legs extending downward from both ends of the main body portion in a predetermined direction, and the pair of legs may sandwich the two block pieces in the longitudinal direction of the gap when the main body portion is placed on top of the two block pieces. With the above configuration, misalignment of the jig used for the gap filling operation with respect to the two block pieces during the gap filling operation is suppressed, and as a result, the gap between the two block pieces can be filled more efficiently.
[0011] The distance between the pair of legs may become narrower as they approach the tips of the legs. With the above configuration, the block pieces and the legs are in closer contact with each other, which further reduces the positional shift of the jig used for filling the gap between the two block pieces. As a result, the gap between the two block pieces can be filled even more efficiently.
[0012] The distance between the pair of legs may be constant from the base end to the tip end of the legs. With the above configuration, when the width of the block piece in the longitudinal direction of the gap is constant in the vertical direction, the jig for gap filling work can be easily attached and detached from the block piece, and as a result, the gap between the two block pieces can be filled more efficiently.
[0013] Furthermore, the above-mentioned problems can be solved by a gap-filling method of the present invention, which fills the gap between two block pieces arranged adjacent to each other with a filling material, comprising: an installation step of installing a gap-filling jig on the two block pieces, the jig having a plate-shaped main body, an opening formed in the main body and extending in a predetermined direction, and an extension part extending downward from the main body outside the opening in the predetermined direction; and an injection step of injecting filling material into the opening. In the installation step, the main body is placed on the two block pieces with the extension direction of the opening aligned with the longitudinal direction of the gap when the two block pieces are viewed from above, and the gap and the opening are overlapped vertically. According to the above-described gap filling method, the gap between the two block pieces can be efficiently filled by using a jig for gap filling work.
[0014] In addition, in the above gap filling method, the injection step may involve using an injection device having an injection port extending in a direction intersecting the injection direction of the filling material, and injecting the filling material from the injection port into the opening with the longitudinal direction of the injection port aligned with the longitudinal direction of the opening. The above method suppresses leakage of the filling material when it is injected from the injection port into the opening, and as a result, the gap between the two block pieces can be filled more efficiently.
[0015] In the above gap filling method, the filling material may be injected into the gap by applying pressure in the injection step. The above method allows the pressure to properly distribute the filler material within the gap, thus filling the gap between the two block pieces more efficiently. Effect of the Invention

[0018] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS One embodiment of the present invention (hereinafter, the present embodiment) will be described in detail below with reference to the preferred embodiment shown in the accompanying drawings. In addition, the drawings show each component somewhat simplified and schematic in order to make the explanation easier to understand, and the size (dimensions) of each component and the intervals between components shown in the drawings are different from the actual ones. In addition, unless otherwise specified, the material and shape of each member used to implement the present invention can be arbitrarily set depending on the application of the present invention and the state of the art at the time of implementing the present invention. Furthermore, the present invention includes its equivalents.
[0019] In this specification, "orthogonal" and "vertical" include the range of error permitted in the technical field to which the present invention pertains. For example, "orthogonal" and "vertical" mean within a range of less than ±10° from strict orthogonal or vertical, and the error from strict orthogonal or vertical is preferably 5° or less, and more preferably 3° or less.
[0020] <<Overview of the jig for gap filling work according to this embodiment>> A jig for gap filling operation according to this embodiment (hereinafter, jig 1) will be described with reference to FIGS. As shown in FIG. 1, the jig 1 is used when filling a gap C between two block pieces 2, 3 arranged adjacent to each other with a filling material. More specifically, as shown in FIG. 2, a jig 1 is placed on two block pieces 2, 3 so as to cover the upper and sides of the gap C, and the filling material is then injected through an opening 20 formed in the jig 1 to fill the gap C with the filling material. The filling material is not particularly limited, and any commonly used filling material can be used, such as mortar.
[0021] In the following description, the longitudinal direction of the gap C between the two block pieces 2, 3 is defined as a first direction, and a direction intersecting (perpendicular to) both the first direction and the vertical direction is defined as a second direction. The first direction corresponds to the extension direction of an opening 20, which will be described later, and the second direction corresponds to the direction in which the two block pieces 2, 3 are arranged side by side.
[0022] The block pieces 2, 3 may be, for example, curbs included in the exterior structure of a building, or boundary blocks used as boundaries between roadways and sidewalks. The block pieces 2, 3 are not particularly limited, and may be secondary concrete products such as the above-mentioned curbs, or may be made of a concrete material different from secondary concrete products. The material from which the block pieces 2, 3 are made is not limited to concrete materials, and is not particularly limited as long as it is a material capable of making block pieces. The portion formed by filling the gap C between the two block pieces 2, 3 with the filling material corresponds to a joint. The buildings include buildings for various purposes, such as houses, offices, stores, facilities such as hospitals or schools, and buildings within factories. The cross section of the block pieces 2, 3 perpendicular to the second direction may be square, rectangular, trapezoidal, etc., and the four corners of the cross section may be pointed or arc-shaped. In the following description, it is assumed that the cross section of the block pieces 2 and 3 perpendicular to the second direction is square, and the four corners of the cross section are sharp. Moreover, since the cross section perpendicular to the second direction of the block pieces 2, 3 is square, the width of the block pieces 2, 3 in the first direction is constant from one end to the other end in the up-down direction.
[0023] <<Detailed configuration of the jig for gap filling work according to this embodiment>> As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the jig 1 includes a plate-shaped main body 10, an opening 20 formed in the main body 10, and an extension 30 extending downward from the main body 10.
[0024] In the following explanation, it is assumed that the jig 1 is installed between the two block pieces 2 and 3. In other words, unless otherwise specified, it is assumed that the jig 1 is in its normal use state, that is, the state in which the jig 1 is installed between the two block pieces 2 and 3 (the state in FIG. 2), and when explaining the position of the jig 1 and the orientation and extension direction of each part of the jig 1, the position, orientation and extension direction of the jig 1 when it is in its normal use state will be shown. Moreover, "below" means below the jig 1 when in use.
[0025] 4, the main body 10 extends in a first direction, and in this embodiment, has a rectangular shape with the first direction as its longitudinal direction. In the first direction, the length of the main body 10 is longer than the length of each of the block pieces 2 and 3, more specifically, it is longer than the length of each of the block pieces 2 and 3 by the thickness of the legs 31 and 32 described later. In the second direction, the width of the main body 10 is, for example, two or more times the width of the gap C. The shape of the main body 10 is not limited to a rectangle, but may be various shapes such as a square, a triangle, a trapezoid, a circle, and an ellipse.
[0026] The opening 20 is a through hole that passes through the main body 10 in the up-down direction, extends in a first direction (corresponding to a predetermined direction), and in this embodiment, forms a rectangular slit with the first direction as its longitudinal direction. In the first direction, the length of the opening 20 is shorter than the length of the gap C (corresponding to the length of the block pieces 2, 3), and in the second direction, the width of the opening 20 is approximately the same as or wider than the width of the gap C. The shape of the opening 20 is not limited to a rectangle, but may be various shapes such as a square, a triangle, a trapezoid, a circle, and an ellipse.
[0027] 2, the extension direction (corresponding to the first direction) of the opening 20 is aligned with the longitudinal direction (corresponding to the first direction) of the gap C when the two block pieces 2, 3 are viewed from above. Furthermore, the main body 10 is placed on the two block pieces 2, 3 with the gap C and the opening 20 overlapping vertically. If the width of the opening 20 in the second direction is approximately the same as the width of the gap C, the opening area of the opening 20 will be smaller than the area of the gap C when the two block pieces 2, 3 are viewed from above.
[0028] As shown in FIG. 3, the extension portion 30 extends downward from the main body portion 10 outside the opening 20 in the first direction, and is located outside the gap C in the longitudinal direction as shown in FIG. More specifically, as shown in FIG. 3, the extension portion 30 has a pair of legs 31, 32 that extend downward from both ends of the main body portion 10 in the first direction.
[0029] Each of the pair of legs 31, 32 forms, for example, a rectangular plate when viewed from the first direction. 2, with the main body 10 placed on the two block pieces 2, 3, the pair of legs 31, 32 sandwich the two block pieces 2, 3 in the longitudinal direction of the gap C. More specifically, each of the pair of legs 31, 32 is in contact with each of the block pieces 2, 3, or is positioned with a predetermined gap, for example a gap of about the plate thickness of the legs 31, 32, between the block pieces 2, 3 and the legs 31, 32.
[0030] In this embodiment, the pair of legs 31, 32 are rectangular plate portions when viewed from the first direction, but are not limited to this and may have various shapes such as a square, a triangle, a trapezoid, a circle, and an ellipse. Furthermore, the pair of legs 31, 32 do not have to extend from both ends of the main body 10 in the first direction, but may extend from the outside of the opening 20 in the first direction. For example, in the first direction, each of the legs 31, 32 may be located between the end of the opening 20 and the end of the main body 10, and the end of the main body 10 may protrude outward beyond each of the legs 31, 32.
[0031] A gap G (see FIG. 3) between the pair of legs 31, 32 in the first direction is constant from one end to the other end in the up-down direction. That is, the gap G between the pair of legs 31, 32 is constant from the base end to the tip end of the legs 31, 32. In this embodiment, the gap G is approximately the same as or larger than the width of the block pieces 2, 3 in the first direction. The tips (lower ends) of the pair of legs 31, 32 may be in contact with the surface on which the two block pieces 2, 3 are placed, or may be positioned with a gap therebetween. The lengths of the pair of legs 31, 32 in the up-down direction may be the same or different from each other.
[0032] Each of the main body portion 10 and the extension portion 30 (more specifically, a pair of legs 31, 32) is made, for example, of a metal plate and may be formed by bending a single metal plate cut to a predetermined shape, or may be fixed to each other using screws or may be welded together. Each of the main body portion 10 and the extension portion 30 is not limited to being made of a metal plate, but may be made of, for example, a resin plate, or may include both a metal plate and a resin plate.
[0033] <<Gap filling method according to this embodiment>> By using the jig 1 configured as described above and carrying out the gap filling method described below, the gap C between two block pieces 2, 3 arranged adjacent to each other is filled with a filling material, thereby filling the gap C.
[0034] In the gap filling method according to this embodiment, first, the jig 1 is placed on the two block pieces 2 and 3 (corresponding to a placing step). 2, the extension direction (first direction) of the opening 20 is aligned with the longitudinal direction (first direction) of the gap C when the two block pieces 2, 3 are viewed from above, and the gap C and the opening 20 are vertically overlapped, more strictly speaking, the gap C is located within the range in which the opening 20 exists in the second direction. In this state, the main body 10 is placed on the two block pieces 2, 3, and the extension portion 30 is located outside the longitudinal direction of the gap C.
[0035] Next, as shown in FIG. 5, a filling material is injected into the openings 20 (corresponding to an injection step). More specifically, in the injection process, an injection device 4 having an injection port 4a extending in a direction intersecting (perpendicular to) the injection direction of the filling material is used to inject the filling material from the injection port 4a into the opening 20 with the longitudinal direction of the injection port 4a aligned with the longitudinal direction of the opening 20. In this embodiment, the injection port 4 a is, for example, a rectangular slit, and the opening area of the injection port 4 a is approximately the same as that of the opening 20 or is smaller than that of the opening 20 . In FIG. 5, the entire injection device 4 is omitted, and only the part of the injection device 4 that corresponds to the nozzle is shown.
[0036] In addition, in the injection step, the filling material may be injected into the gap C by applying pressure. More specifically, the injection device 4 has a cylindrical syringe (not shown), in which a fluid filling material is stored. A nozzle with an injection port 4a is attached to the tip of the syringe, and the filling material is sent to the injection port 4a by pressing the filling material from the rear end of the syringe with a plunger (not shown), and the filling material is injected into the gap C from the injection port 4a. Note that injection device 4 is not limited to the above configuration, and may, for example, use a liquid transport pump to pressure-feed the filling material stored in a storage section such as a syringe toward injection port 4a.
[0037] The filling material that has entered the gap C spreads throughout the gap C due to the pressure of the filling material that is injected later, filling the gap C. The main body 10 and the legs 31, 32 each maintain their position without being pressed by the pressure of the filling material. Therefore, the filling material that has entered the gap C fills the gap C while running along the inner surfaces of the main body 10 and the legs 31, 32.
[0038] After the injection step, if any filling material has leaked out from the gap C, the filling material is removed. Then, the jig 1 is removed from the two block pieces 2 and 3. Through the above series of steps, the gap filling operation of this embodiment is completed.
[0039] <<About the action and effect of the jig for gap filling work and the gap filling method according to the present embodiment>> As described above, in the jig 1, during gap filling work, the filling material can be injected into the gap C through the opening 20. At that time, as shown in FIG. 2, the main body 10 is placed on the two block pieces 2, 3, and the extension portion 30 is located outside the longitudinal direction of the gap C, so that the filling material filled into the gap C has a desired shape that conforms to the inner surfaces of the main body 10 and the extension portion 30, and construction quality is appropriately ensured. This makes the work easier and reduces the effort (man-hours). As a result, the gap C between the two block pieces 2, 3 can be efficiently filled.
[0040] Furthermore, in the case of a method in which masking tape is applied to the sides of the two block pieces so as to cover the gap C from the sides, and then the gap C is filled with filling material and then the masking tape is peeled off, this method requires the separate work of applying the masking tape and peeling it off, which is time-consuming. However, in this embodiment, it is sufficient to simply attach and detach the jig 1 to the two block pieces 2, 3, and as a result, the gap C between the two block pieces 2, 3 can be filled efficiently. In particular, the attachment and detachment of the jig 1 is a simple task and is not affected by the experience of the worker, as is the case with the application of masking tape, so the gap C between the two block pieces 2, 3 can be filled efficiently regardless of the worker.
[0041] In addition, in order to maintain the state in which the filling material filled in the gap C is adhered to the block pieces 2, 3, it is necessary to wet the block pieces 2, 3 before carrying out the gap filling work. However, if the block pieces 2, 3 are wet, the masking tape is likely to peel off, and the work efficiency is poor. In contrast, in this embodiment, the jig 1 is used, so the masking tape will not peel off like the masking tape, and as a result, the gap C between the two block pieces 2, 3 can be efficiently filled. In addition, when masking tape is used, the masking tape becomes waste after use, which is undesirable, whereas the jig 1 of this embodiment can be reused.
[0042] Moreover, each of the main body portion 10 and the extension portion 30 is made of a metal plate. The above-described configuration improves the strength of the jig 1 and suppresses problems such as breakage of the jig 1 during the gap filling operation, so that the gap between the two block pieces 2, 3 can be filled efficiently. Furthermore, by using metal plates for each of the main body 10 and the extension 30, it is possible to achieve the same degree of strength with thinner plates compared to when resin plates or the like are used. Furthermore, compared to resin plates and the like, metal plates have superior durability against repeated use. Furthermore, compared to resin plates and the like, metal plates are easier to clean. Furthermore, compared to resin plates and the like, metal plates have superior spring properties, so that when two block pieces 2, 3 are sandwiched between the pair of legs 31, 32 of the jig 1 while widening the gap G between the pair of legs 31, 32 shown in FIG. 3, the inner surfaces of the legs 31, 32 tend to come into close contact with the side surfaces of the block pieces 2, 3 due to the reaction force.
[0043] Moreover, the opening 20 is a rectangular slit. With the above configuration, the filling material can be injected while changing the injection position along the longitudinal direction of the slit, which allows the filling material to be distributed throughout the gap C in a shorter time than when the filling material is injected only from a predetermined injection position, and as a result, the gap C between the two block pieces 2 and 3 can be filled more efficiently.
[0044] Further, in a state in which the main body 10 is placed on the two block pieces 2, 3, the pair of leg portions 31, 32 sandwich the two block pieces 2, 3 in the longitudinal direction of the gap C. With the above-described configuration, the positional deviation of the jig 1 with respect to the two block pieces 2, 3 during the gap filling operation is suppressed, and as a result, the gap C between the two block pieces 2, 3 can be filled more efficiently.
[0045] Further, the distance G between the pair of legs 31, 32 is constant from the base end to the tip end of the legs 31, 32. In this embodiment, the width of the block pieces 2, 3 in the longitudinal direction (first direction) of the gap C is constant in the vertical direction, making it easier to attach and detach the jig 1 to the block pieces 2, 3, and as a result, the gap C between the two block pieces 2, 3 can be filled more efficiently.
[0046] In addition, in the injection process, an injection device 4 having an injection port 4a extending in a direction intersecting (perpendicular to) the injection direction of the filling material is used to inject the filling material from the injection port 4a into the opening 20 with the longitudinal direction of the injection port 4a aligned with the longitudinal direction of the opening 20. In the above method, leakage of the filling material when it is injected into the opening 20 from the injection port 4a is suppressed. In addition, the filling material can be simultaneously injected from one end of the opening 20 to the other end in the extension direction of the opening 20, and the filling material can be distributed throughout the gap C in a shorter period of time, so that the gap C between the two block pieces 2, 3 can be filled more efficiently.
[0047] In the above gap filling method, the filling material is injected into the gap C by applying pressure in the injection step. In the above method, the filling material is properly distributed in the gap C by the pressure, so that the gap C between the two block pieces 2 and 3 can be filled more efficiently. In particular, in this embodiment, unlike the case where the masking tape described above is used, the use of the jig 1 makes it possible to withstand the pressure of the filling material filled in the gap C, making it possible to press the filling material in during the injection process. In this way, the use of the jig 1 makes it possible to press the filling material in, and as a result, the gap C between the two block pieces 2, 3 can be filled more efficiently.
[0048] <<Other embodiments>> Although one embodiment of the jig and gap filling method of the present invention has been described above, the above embodiment is merely an example for facilitating understanding of the present invention and does not limit the present invention. In other words, the present invention can be modified and improved without departing from the spirit of the present invention. In addition, the present invention naturally includes its equivalents.
[0049] In the above embodiment, as shown in Fig. 3, the distance G between the pair of legs 31, 32 is constant from the base end to the tip end of the legs 31, 32. However, this is not limited thereto, and for example, as in a jig 1A shown in Fig. 6, the distance G between the pair of legs 31, 32 may become narrower as it approaches the tip end of the legs 31, 32. With the above configuration, the jig 1 is attached to the two block pieces 2, 3 while widening the gap G between the pair of legs 31, 32, and the reaction force makes it easier for the inner surfaces of the legs 31, 32 to come into close contact with the side surfaces of the block pieces 2, 3. This makes it possible to further suppress the positional deviation of the jig 1 relative to the two block pieces 2, 3 during the gap filling operation. Note that the present invention is not limited to the above configuration. For example, the gap G between the pair of legs 31, 32 may narrow toward the tip, or may widen toward the tip, depending on the shape of the block pieces 2, 3.
[0050] Further, in the above embodiment, the extension portion 30 has both of the pair of legs 31, 32, but is not limited to this. For example, the extension portion 30 may have only one of the pair of legs 31, 32.
[0051] In addition, in the above embodiment, as shown in FIG. 1, in the block pieces 2 and 3, the four corners of the cross section perpendicular to the second direction are assumed to have a pointed shape. However, this is not limited to this, and for example, of the four corners of the cross section perpendicular to the second direction, for example, the upper two corners may be arc-shaped. In this case, an arc-shaped corner portion 40A may be provided between the main body portion 10 and the extension portion 30, as in a jig 1A shown in FIG. In this way, the shape of the corner where the main body portion 10 and the extension portion 30 intersect may be determined according to the shape of the corner of the block pieces 2, 3.
[0052] In addition, in the above embodiment, in the injection process, the filling material is injected into the opening 20 from the injection port 4a using the injection device 4, but this is not limited to this, and for example, the filling material may be injected into the opening 20 without using the injection device 4, or by using an injection device other than the injection device 4.
