[0003] [Patent Document 1] China Patent Application Publication No. 109180926 Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]
[0004] Polythiol compounds have many thiol groups in one molecule, and therefore are highly hydrophilic. Therefore, they are soluble in water and difficult to separate from the aqueous solution. In addition, wastewater containing such thiol compounds is harmful, and therefore needs to be rendered harmless in the wastewater treatment process, but this requires a great deal of effort. The object of the present invention is to provide a technology for separating and recovering polythiol compounds contained in an aqueous solution from the aqueous solution. [Means for solving the problem]
[0005] The present invention is a method for separating and recovering a polythiol compound, comprising the steps of mixing an aqueous solution containing a polythiol compound with an inorganic salt or an aqueous solution containing an inorganic salt, and salting out the polythiol compound. Effect of the Invention
[0006] By using the method of the present invention, the polythiol compound dissolved in the aqueous solution can be separated and further recovered. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0016] In the present invention, the intermediate chloropolyether is obtained by first reacting a polyether polyol having the structure of formula (1) with epichlorohydrin in the presence of a Lewis acid catalyst.

[0023] In the above reaction, it is preferable to use a phase transfer catalyst, since this can further accelerate the reaction and is expected to improve productivity.

[0028] These phase transfer catalysts may be used alone or in combination of two or more kinds.
[0029] When the phase transfer catalyst is used, the amount used is preferably 0.1 to 10% by mass, more preferably 0.5 to 5% by mass, of the chloropolyether.
[0030] In the present invention, the substitution reaction between the chloropolyether and sodium hydrosulfide is preferably carried out in a hydrogen sulfide atmosphere. [0033] The temperature of the substitution reaction is preferably 70 to 120°C, and more preferably 80 to 100°C.
[0034] The time period for the substitution reaction is preferably from 2 to 100 hours, and more preferably from 5 to 20 hours.
[0035] In the present invention, it is preferable to carry out post-treatment after the substitution reaction. In the post-treatment, the crude product obtained by the substitution reaction is washed with water for the first time and separated, the pH value is adjusted to 3 to 7, and then washed with water for the second time and separated to obtain a washed crude product. Furthermore, the washed crude product is subjected to vacuum conditions to remove water, thereby obtaining a polythiol compound.
[0036] Specifically, after obtaining the crude product, the first washing with water is carried out. A certain amount of water is added to the crude product to wash it with water. The amount of water is preferably 1 to 3 times the mass of the crude product. The temperature of the water washing is preferably 50 to 100°C.
[0037] Thereafter, the pH value is adjusted to 3 to 7. A method for adjusting the pH value is preferably to add an acid. In the present invention, the acid is not particularly limited, but a mineral acid such as sulfuric acid or hydrochloric acid, or an organic acid such as acetic acid, propionic acid, oxalic acid, malonic acid, or citric acid can be used.
[0038] After adjusting the pH value, a liquid separation operation is performed to obtain a crude product. Then, a second water washing is performed, and a certain amount of water is added to the crude product to perform water washing. The amount of water added is preferably 1 to 3 times the mass of the crude product. The water washing temperature is preferably 50 to 100°C. After the second water washing, a liquid separation operation is performed again to obtain a crude product.
[0039] After obtaining a crude product by washing with water, water is removed under vacuum conditions, such as a degree of vacuum of -0.095 MPa or less and a temperature of 60 to 80°C.
[0040] Since a large amount of water is used in the washing process of the post-treatment, a large amount of aqueous solution containing thiol compounds is generated. Since wastewater containing these thiol compounds is harmful, it is necessary to render it harmless in a wastewater treatment process, which requires a great deal of effort.
[0041] By using the method of the present invention, the polythiol compound can be separated and recovered from the aqueous solution, thereby reducing the labor required for the wastewater treatment process.
[0042] A method for separating and treating a polythiol compound dissolved in an aqueous solution will be specifically described.
[0043] In the present invention, an inorganic salt or an aqueous solution containing an inorganic salt is mixed with an aqueous solution containing a polythiol compound to salt out the polythiol compound, and then a liquid separation operation is performed to separate and recover the aqueous solution and the polythiol compound.
[0044] The aqueous solution containing the polythiol compound may be the aqueous solution generated in the post-treatment step.
[0045] In the present invention, examples of inorganic salts include phosphates such as sodium dihydrogen phosphate, disodium hydrogen phosphate, sodium metaphosphate, trisodium phosphate, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, dipotassium phosphate, sodium polyphosphate, and sodium pyrophosphate, carbonates such as sodium carbonate, sodium hydrogen carbonate, potassium carbonate, potassium hydrogen carbonate, and ammonium carbonate, metal chlorides such as sodium chloride, potassium chloride, magnesium chloride, and calcium chloride, sodium sulfate, sodium sulfite, and sodium hydrogen sulfite. Metal chlorides are preferred, and sodium sulfate and sodium chloride are more preferred.
[0046] The inorganic salts may be used alone or in combination.
[0047] As a method for mixing the aqueous solution containing the polythiol compound with the inorganic salt, the inorganic salt may be added to the aqueous solution containing the polythiol compound, or conversely, the aqueous solution containing the polythiol compound may be added to the inorganic salt.
[0048] The inorganic salt may be mixed as a solid, as an aqueous solution in which the inorganic salt is dissolved in water, or as a supersaturated slurry solution.
[0049] In this case, when mixing as an aqueous solution, if the salt concentration in the aqueous solution is too low, the effect of salting out decreases. Therefore, the higher the salt concentration after mixing, the better. It is preferable to adjust the salt concentration in the aqueous solution after mixing to be 5% by mass or more, preferably 10% by mass or more, and more preferably 15% by mass or more.
[0050] When the aqueous solution containing the polythiol compound is mixed with the inorganic salt, the mixing may be performed in a state where the polythiol compound is in an insoluble state coexisting in the aqueous solution.
[0051] After mixing an aqueous solution containing the polythiol compound with an inorganic salt and then performing liquid-liquid separation of the oil phase and the water phase, the polythiol compound in the aqueous solution can be separated and removed. At this time, the polythiol compound separated from the water phase can be recovered as a product.
