[0154] As shown in FIG. 15, when a fire occurs, the heated foaming material 617 foams due to heat and closes the space between the outer door frame 31d and the inner door frame 41d. In the event of a fire, the airtight material 495a, which was in contact with the end plate portion 399b of the frame protruding piece 399 of the outer door frame 31d, may melt and disappear. The foamed heated foaming material 617 closes the gap between the projection plate portion 499a of the smoke return portion 499 of the inner door frame 41d, which was adjacent to the airtight material 495a, and the end plate portion 399b. This prevents the penetration of flames through the gap between the outer door frame 31d and the inner door frame 41d.
[0155] When the outer screen 3 and the inner screen 4 are arranged in the closed position, the frame airtight material 227 of the lower frame 2a with which the frame protruding piece 338 of the lower frame 31a of the outer screen 3 comes into contact, the frame airtight material 248 of the upper frame 2b with which the frame protruding piece 358 of the upper frame 31b of the outer screen 3 comes into contact, and the frame airtight material 276 of the first vertical frame 2c with which the frame protruding piece 379 of the door end frame 31c of the outer screen 3 comes into contact are provided within the same visible surface. In other words, the position where the lower frame 31a of the outer screen 3 comes into contact with the frame airtight material 227 of the lower frame 2a, the position where the upper frame 31b of the outer screen 3 comes into contact with the frame airtight material 248 of the upper frame 2b, and the position where the door end frame 31c of the outer screen 3 comes into contact with the frame airtight material 276 of the first vertical frame 2c are provided within the same visible surface. This surface is referred to as the surface S1 where the airtight material is installed between the frame and frame. The surface S1 where the airtight material is installed between the frame and frame is shown in Figs. 1 and 2.
[0156] When the outer screen 3 and the inner screen 4 are arranged in the closed position, the face including the position of the airtight material 495a that contacts the resin frame member mounting portion 339 of the outer screen 3 is referred to as the airtight material installation face S2. The airtight material installation face S2 is shown in Figures 1 and 2. The airtight material installation face S2 is located on the indoor side of the frame airtight material installation face S1. Hollow portions 34a, 34b, 34c of the resin frame member 34 of the lower frame 31a of the outer screen 3, hollow portion 36b of the resin frame member 36 of the upper frame 31b, hollow portion 38b of the resin frame member 38 of the door end frame 31c, and hollow portion 37d between the metal frame member 37 of the door end frame 31c and the resin frame member 38 are arranged. By adopting such a configuration, the insulation by the hollow portions can be improved.
[0157] As shown in FIG. 18, a heat foaming material 618 is provided on the indoor side of the upper surface of the groove bottom plate portion 431 of the lower frame 41a of the inner screen 4. The heat foaming material 618 is provided so that when heated, it foams toward the backup material 323 on the indoor side of the face material 42 of the inner screen 4. The sealing material 324 on the indoor side of the face material 42 is bonded to the protruding piece 444a of the upper plate portion 444 of the resin frame member 44 of the lower frame 41a. The sealing material 324 on the indoor side of the face material 42 is not bonded to the metal frame member 43 of the lower frame 41a. For this reason, as shown in FIG. 19, if the resin frame member 44 melts and falls off during a fire, it is considered that the sealing material 324 will also fall off or be damaged. In this state, only the backup material 323 is filled between the face material 42 and the metal frame member 43. This can easily cause a gap between the face material 42 and the metal frame member 43, which can lead to ignition. For this reason, by attaching the heating foaming material 618, which foams toward the backup material 323 in the event of a fire, to the groove, ignition can be prevented.
[0158] As shown in Fig. 20, the inner rail 219 of the lower frame 2a has a drain hole 219a penetrating in the indoor / outdoor direction. The frame protruding piece 221 of the lower frame 2a has a drain hole 221a penetrating in the vertical direction. These drain holes 219a, 221a are provided to discharge wastewater on the indoor side of the inner rail 219 to the outdoor side. Water in the frame protruding piece 221 on the indoor side of the inner rail 219 passes through the drain hole 219a of the inner rail 219, passes through the drain hole 221a of the frame protruding piece 221, flows from the underside of the frame protruding piece 221 over the upper surface of the middle plate portion 212, and is drained to the outdoors.
[0159] A drain hole cover material 52 is provided on the other side of the width direction above the frame protruding piece 221 in the range where the closed inner sash 4 is located. The drain hole cover material 52 prevents water from entering the drain holes 219a, 221a from the outdoor side. The drain hole cover material 52 has a cover part 521 and a fixing part 522. The cover part 521 covers the drain holes 219a, 221a. The fixing part 522 is fixed to the lower frame 2a. The cover part 521 is disposed on the frame protruding piece 221, and the outdoor side part of the cover part 521 is provided along the upper surface of the frame protruding piece 221. The indoor side part of the cover part 521 is provided with an inclined part 521a that gradually inclines upward toward the indoor side. The indoor side end of the cover part 521 is disposed on the drain hole 219a of the inner rail 219. The outdoor end of the cover part 521 is attached to the member mounting part 229. The fixing part 522 extends downward from the indoor end of the cover part 521. The lower end of the fixing part 522 is fixed to a rib 223b provided on the underside of the inner rail 219. The fixing part 522 is covered by the cover part 521 and is not exposed. The fixing part 522 has a notch 522a that penetrates in the indoor / outdoor direction at a position overlapping with the drainage hole 219a of the inner rail 219. A space 52a is formed between the drainage hole cover material 52 and the lower frame 2a.
[0160] To ensure high watertightness, it is important not to let water get inside the inner rail 219 at the bottom of the bottom frame 41a of the inner screen 4, and if water does get in, it is important to drain it quickly. By providing a gap between the bottom frame 41a of the inner screen 4 and the inner rail 219 of the bottom frame 2a, the space below the bottom frame 41a is made to have external pressure, preventing water from entering from outdoors to indoors due to the pressure difference. A drain hole cover material 52 is provided over the entire length range where the inner screen 4 is located in the closed position on the bottom frame 2a, and water can be drained through the space between the drain hole cover material 52 and the bottom frame 2a. The drain hole cover material 52 can prevent water drained from the indoor side to the outdoors from flowing back inside the room.
[0161] Above the inclined portion 521a of the drain hole cover material 52, the rib 435a at the lower end of the outdoor plate portion 435 of the lower frame 41a is arranged at an interval. The inclined portion 521a and the rib 435a narrow the gap between the lower frame 2a and the lower frame 41a compared to when the drain hole cover material 52 and the rib 435a are not provided, so that water that bounces off the upper surface of the drain hole cover material 52 can be prevented from entering the indoor side of the inner rail 219 through the gap between the drain hole cover material 52 and the lower frame 41a. Outside air can be introduced to the indoor side of the inner rail 219 through the gap between the drain hole cover material 52 and the lower frame 41a.
