Modes for Carrying Out the Invention
[0009] [Description of Embodiments of the Present Disclosure] First, embodiments of the present disclosure will be listed and described.
[0010] The wiring system of the present disclosure is as follows.
[0011] (1) A wiring system comprising a main line side wiring member including a main line side circuit and a main line side connector to which the main line side circuit is connected, a device side connector connected to the main line side connector, and a device side circuit having one end connected to the device side connector, the other end of the device side circuit being electrically connected to an electrical device. At least one of the main line side circuits is an aluminum electric wire, and at least one of the device side circuits is a copper electric wire connected to the aluminum electric wire via the device side connector and the main line side connector. By electrically connecting the main line side wiring member to the electrical device via the device side wiring member, the arrangement position of the main line side connector can be set at a position separated from the arrangement position of the electrical device by the length of the device side wiring member. Thereby, for example, even when the electrical device is arranged in an area where water is likely to splash, the main line side connector can be arranged in an area where water is less likely to splash than the area where the electrical device is arranged. For this reason, corrosion prevention of the aluminum electric wire of the main line side wiring member can be made unnecessary or simple, and it becomes easier to incorporate the aluminum electric wire into the wiring system. By incorporating the aluminum electric wire into the wiring system, the weight of the wiring system can be reduced.
[0012] (2) In the wiring system of (1), as the device-side wiring member, it exclusively includes a first-specification wiring member and a second-specification wiring member whose types of connected electrical devices are different from each other. The first-specification wiring member includes a first-specification connector as the device-side connector and a first-specification circuit as the device-side circuit. The second-specification wiring member includes a second-specification connector as the device-side connector and a second-specification circuit as the device-side circuit. The first-specification circuit has a first-application circuit connected to the electrical device of the first application. The second-specification circuit has a second-application circuit connected to the electrical device of the second application different from the first application. The trunk-side circuit has a multi-purpose circuit. When the first-specification connector is connected to the trunk-side connector, the multi-purpose circuit is connected to the first-application circuit. When the second-specification connector is connected to the trunk-side connector, the multi-purpose circuit may be connected to the second-application circuit. Thereby, in the wiring system, while the trunk-side wiring member is shared, a plurality of types of wiring members with different specifications can be properly used as the device-side wiring member according to the type of the electrical device, and it is possible to easily cope with the specification differences of the vehicle. Since the trunk-side wiring member to be shared has an aluminum electric wire, the aluminum electric wire can be incorporated into the wiring system regardless of the specification of the device-side wiring member.
[0013] (3) In the wiring system of (2), at least one of the multi-purpose circuits may be the aluminum electric wire, and at least one of each of the first-specification circuit and the second-specification circuit may be the copper electric wire. Usually, the larger the current value flowing through the circuit, the larger the conductor cross-sectional area of the circuit needs to be, and accordingly, the weight of the circuit increases. The conductor cross-sectional area of the multi-purpose circuit may be set to a large conductor cross-sectional area corresponding to the application with the highest current value among a plurality of different applications. Even in this case, since at least one of the multi-purpose circuits is the aluminum electric wire, an increase in the weight of the multi-purpose circuit can be suppressed.
[0014] (4) In any one of the wiring systems of (1) to (3), the electric device includes a first electric device and a second electric device disposed in an area less likely to get wet than the area where the first electric device is disposed. The device-side wiring member includes a first connector for the first electric device that is connector-connected to the first electric device and a second connector for the second electric device that is connector-connected to the second electric device. The device-side circuit has a first circuit for the first electric device that connects the first connector for the first electric device and the device-side connector, and a second circuit for the second electric device that connects the second connector for the second electric device and the device-side connector. At least one of each of the circuits connected to the first electric device circuit and the circuit connected to the second electric device circuit among the trunk-side circuits is the aluminum electric wire, at least one of the first electric device circuits is the copper electric wire, and at least one of the second electric device circuits may be an aluminum electric wire connected to the aluminum electric wire via the device-side connector and the trunk-side connector. Thereby, it becomes easier to incorporate an aluminum electric wire into the device-side wiring member.
[0015] (5) In any one of the wiring systems of (1) to (4), the trunk-side wiring member has a plurality of electric wires each forming the trunk-side circuit. When the plurality of electric wires are divided into a group of thin electric wires composed only of electric wires with a conductor cross-sectional area of 0.13 sq or less and a group of thick electric wires composed only of electric wires with a conductor cross-sectional area larger than 0.13 sq, the thick electric wire group has the aluminum electric wire, and the ratio of the aluminum electric wire in the thick electric wire group may be the same as or higher than the ratio of the copper electric wire. Thereby, most of the thick electric wire group with a large conductor cross-sectional area among the trunk-side circuits can be made of aluminum electric wire, and the weight reduction effect of the trunk-side wiring member is enhanced.
[0016] (6) In any one of the wiring systems of (1) to (5), the ratio of the aluminum electric wire in the circuits connected to the device-side circuit among the trunk-side circuits may be the same as or higher than the ratio of the aluminum electric wire in the circuits connected to the trunk-side circuit among the device-side circuits. Thereby, the weight reduction effect of the trunk-side wiring member is enhanced.
[0017] (7) In any one of the wiring systems (1) to (6), the trunk-side connector has connector terminals connected to the aluminum electric wire, and the connection portion between the connector terminals and the aluminum electric wire may be non-corrosion-proof. Thereby, an increase in the cost of the wiring system is suppressed.
[0018] [Details of Embodiments of the Present Disclosure] A specific example of the wiring system of the present disclosure will be described below with reference to the drawings. Note that the present disclosure is not limited to these examples, and is defined by the claims, and is intended to include all modifications within the meaning and scope equivalent to the claims.
[0019] [Embodiment 1] Hereinafter, the wiring system according to Embodiment 1 will be described.
[0020] [Overall Configuration of Wiring System] First, the overall configuration of the wiring system will be described with reference to FIG. 1. FIG. 1 is an explanatory diagram showing a wiring system 10 according to Embodiment 1. Although circuits, connectors, etc. are separately shown in FIG. 1, the number of the circuits, the routes, the number of the connectors, etc. are examples, and can be changed according to the system and specifications to be applied.
[0021] The wiring system 10 is a system for electrically connecting electrical devices 80 to each other, for example, in a vehicle or the like. The wiring system 10 includes a trunk-side wiring member 20 and a device-side wiring member 40. The trunk-side wiring member 20 includes a trunk-side circuit 21 and a trunk-side connector 26 to which the trunk-side circuit 21 is connected. The device-side wiring member 40 includes a device-side connector 46 connected to the trunk-side connector 26 and a device-side circuit 41 having one end connected to the device-side connector 46. In the device-side wiring member 40, the other end of the device-side circuit 41 is electrically connected to the electrical device 80. In the present embodiment, an explanation is made assuming that all the trunk-side circuits 21 are electrically connected to the electrical device 80 via the device-side circuit 41. Of course, some of the trunk-side circuits 21 may be directly electrically connected to the electrical device 80 without passing through the device-side circuit 41.
[0022] In the example shown in FIG. 1, four device-side wiring members 40 are connected to one trunk-side wiring member 20. The trunk-side wiring member 20 includes four trunk-side connectors 26. Each of the four device-side wiring members 40 is connected to a corresponding one of the four trunk-side connectors 26. Note that the number of trunk-side connectors 26 and the number of device-side wiring members 40 do not have to match. For example, one device-side wiring member 40 may be connected to a plurality of trunk-side connectors 26.
[0023] Both ends of each trunk-side circuit 21 are connected to different trunk-side connectors 26. One trunk-side connector 26 is connected to at least one other trunk-side connector 26 via the trunk-side circuit 21. The number and connection destinations of the trunk-side circuits 21 can be appropriately set according to the electrical device 80 or the like.
[0024] Each device-side wiring member 40 connects the electrical device 80 and the main-line side connector 26. The device-side wiring member 40 only needs to be connected to at least one electrical device 80. There may be a device-side wiring member 40 connected to a plurality of electrical devices 80. The other end of the device-side circuit 41 may be connected to the device connector 47 and connected to the electrical device 80 via the device connector 47. The other end of the device-side circuit 41 may be directly led to the electrical device 80 and connected to the electrical element of the electrical device 80 without using a connector.
[0025] Circuits such as the main-line side circuit 21 and the device-side circuit 41 in the wiring system 10 are constituted by linear conductive members and are parts for transmitting electricity. The circuit may be for transmitting an electrical signal or for transmitting power. The circuit may be, for example, the core wire in an electric wire including a core wire and a coating around the core wire. The electric wire may be a non-twisted electric wire, a twisted electric wire, or in the form of a cable having a shield layer formed around it. The circuit may not be the core wire in the electric wire. For example, the circuit may be a conductor formed along a predetermined path on a flat insulating base material. For example, the circuit may be a circuit pattern in an FPC (Flexible Printed Circuit) in which a circuit pattern made of a metal foil or the like is formed between a pair of resin films. In the present embodiment, an explanation is made assuming that the circuit is the core wire of the electric wire.
[0026] <Connection portions in the wiring system 10> FIG. 2 is an explanatory diagram showing each connection portion in one device-side wiring member 40. FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view taken along line III-III in FIG. 2.
[0027] The main line side circuit 21 and the device side circuit 41 are connected via the main line side connector 26 and the device side connector 46. The main line side connector 26 has a main line side connector terminal 26T and a main line side connector housing 26H that holds the main line side connector terminal 26T. An end of the main line side circuit 21 is connected to the main line side connector terminal 26T. The device side connector 46 has a device side connector terminal 46T and a device side connector housing 46H that holds the device side connector terminal 46T. An end of the device side circuit 41 is connected to the device side connector terminal 46T. When each circuit is an electric wire, the connector terminal and the electric wire are electrically connected and fixed by means such as crimping, pressure welding, or welding. In the example shown in FIG. 2, an example is shown where the main line side connector terminal 26T is a male terminal and the device side connector terminal 46T is a female terminal, but the main line side connector terminal 26T may be a female terminal and the device side connector terminal 46T may be a male terminal.
[0028] At least one of the main line side circuits 21 is an aluminum electric wire 22. At least one of the device side circuits 41 is a copper electric wire 42 connected to the aluminum electric wire 22 via the device side connector 46 and the main line side connector 26. In this specification, an aluminum electric wire refers to an electric wire whose core wire is formed of a metal material mainly composed of aluminum. The metal material mainly composed of aluminum may be pure aluminum or an aluminum alloy. In this specification, a copper electric wire refers to an electric wire whose core wire is formed of a metal material mainly composed of copper. The metal material mainly composed of copper may be pure copper or a copper alloy.
[0029] In this embodiment, the electrical equipment 80 to which the equipment-side wiring member 40 is connected includes a first electrical equipment 80a and a second electrical equipment 80b. The second electrical equipment 80b is arranged in an area where there is less possibility of getting wet than the area where the first electrical equipment 80a is arranged. Note that the area where the connectors of the main line side connector 26 and the equipment side connector 46 are arranged may also be an area where there is less possibility of getting wet than the area where the first electrical equipment 80a is arranged. Hereinafter, the area with a high possibility of getting wet may be referred to as the first area, and the area with a low possibility of getting wet may be referred to as the second area.
[0030] Such water that may get in (including not only water but also liquids other than water) includes water caused by passengers (such as water spilled by passengers, rainwater on passengers, etc.), water caused by flooding under the vehicle, water caused by condensation of the air conditioner, etc.
[0031] When such water that may get in is water caused by passengers, as a combination of the first area and the second area, for example, it is conceivable that the first area is an area exposed to the interior and the second area is an area not exposed to the interior. Also, for example, it is conceivable that the first area is an area close to an opening that opens into the interior even if not exposed to the interior, and the second area is an area not exposed to the interior and far from the opening that opens into the interior.
[0032] Also, when such water that may get in is water caused by flooding under the vehicle, as a combination of the first area and the second area, for example, it is conceivable that the first area is an area close to the lower part of the vehicle and the second area is an area above the vehicle compared to the first area.
[0033] Also, when such water that may get in is water caused by condensation of the air conditioner, as a combination of the first area and the second area, for example, it is conceivable that the first area is an area close to the air outlet or duct of the air conditioner and the second area is an area farther from the air outlet or duct of the air conditioner than the first area.
[0034] The machine-side wiring member 40 includes a first electrical equipment connector 47a and a second electrical equipment connector 47b. The first electrical equipment connector 47a is connector-connected to the first electrical equipment 80a. The second electrical equipment connector 47b is connector-connected to the second electrical equipment 80b. The machine-side circuit 41 has a first electrical equipment circuit 44 and a second electrical equipment circuit 45. The first electrical equipment circuit 44 connects the first electrical equipment connector 47a and the machine-side connector 46. The second electrical equipment circuit 45 connects the second electrical equipment connector 47b and the machine-side connector 46. The main-line circuit 21 has a circuit connected to the first electrical equipment circuit 44 and a circuit connected to the second electrical equipment circuit 45.
[0035] At least one of each of the circuit connected to the first electrical equipment circuit 44 and the circuit connected to the second electrical equipment circuit 45 in the main-line circuit 21 is an aluminum electric wire 22a, 22b. At least one of the first electrical equipment circuits 44 is a copper electric wire 42a connected to the aluminum electric wire 22a of the main-line circuit 21 via the machine-side connector 46 and the main-line connector 26. At least one of the second electrical equipment circuits 45 is an aluminum electric wire 43 connected to the aluminum electric wire 22b of the main-line circuit 21 via the machine-side connector 46 and the main-line connector 26.
[0036] In this embodiment, the main-line circuit 21 also has a circuit that is a copper electric wire 23. The circuit in the machine-side circuit 41 that is connected to the circuit that is the copper electric wire 23 of the main-line circuit 21 is a copper electric wire 42b. In the example shown in FIG. 2, only the first electrical equipment circuit 44 includes the copper electric wire 42b, but the second electrical equipment circuit 45 may also include a copper electric wire. The main-line circuit 21 is a circuit connected to the copper electric wire of the second electrical equipment circuit 45 and may have a circuit that is a copper electric wire.
[0037] At least one of the main line side connector terminals 26T is connected to the aluminum electric wire 22. In the example shown in FIG. 2, the connection portion between the aluminum electric wire 22 and the main line side connector terminal 26T is non-corrosion-proof. Non-corrosion-proof means that when water accidentally enters the connector housing from an opening such as a cavity in the connector housing, there is no structure provided to prevent the water from reaching the connection portion between the connector terminal and the electric wire, and the state where water can easily reach the connection portion between the connector terminal and the electric wire. Examples of the structure for preventing water from reaching the connection portion between the connector terminal and the electric wire include, for example, a coating member provided at the connection portion between the main line side connector terminal 26T and the aluminum electric wire 22, a rubber stopper covering the electric wire or terminal in the cavity, or a resin filling the cavity.
[0038] The connection portion between the main line side connector terminal 26T and the main line side circuit 21 and the connection portion between the equipment side connector terminal 46T and the equipment side circuit 41 may be non-corrosion-proof regardless of whether the circuit is a copper electric wire or an aluminum electric wire. The connection portion between the main line side connector terminal 26T and the main line side circuit 21 and the connection portion between the equipment side connector terminal 46T and the equipment side circuit 41 may have an anti-corrosion structure when the circuit is an aluminum electric wire.
[0039] The connection portion between the connector terminal 47T of the equipment connector 47 and the equipment side circuit 41 may be non-corrosion-proof when the equipment side circuit 41 is a copper electric wire 42. When the equipment side circuit 41 is an aluminum electric wire, it may have an anti-corrosion structure. The connection portion between the connector terminal of the equipment connector 47 and the equipment side circuit 41 may have a higher corrosion resistance than the connection portion between the equipment side connector terminal 46T and the equipment side circuit 41.
[0040] <Electric wire configuration in the main line side wiring member 20> FIG. 4 is an explanatory diagram showing an example of the electric wire configuration in the main line side wiring member 20.
[0041] The main-line side wiring member 20 has a plurality of electric wires 22 and 23. Each of the plurality of electric wires 22 and 23 forms a main-line side circuit 21. The plurality of electric wires 22 and 23 are divided into a group of thin wires 24 composed only of electric wires with a conductor cross-sectional area of 0.13 sq or less and a group of thick wires 25 composed only of electric wires with a conductor cross-sectional area greater than 0.13 sq. "sq" is a standard related to the cross-sectional area of the core wire defined by the JIS standard and means square millimeters. The circuit can be used for various electrical transmission applications within the range of current allowed according to the cross-sectional area, material, etc. of the circuit.
[0042] Among the entire main-line side circuit 21, the ratio of the group of thin wires 24 and the ratio of the group of thick wires 25 are not particularly limited and can be set as appropriate. For example, among the entire main-line side circuit 21, the ratio of the group of thin wires 24 may be 40 - 60%, and the ratio of the group of thick wires 25 may be 60 - 40%. In the example shown in FIG. 4, the group of thin wires 24 has only the copper electric wire 23. The group of thin wires 24 may have electric wires other than the copper electric wire 23.
[0043] As shown in FIG. 4, the group of thick wires 25 has the aluminum electric wire 22. Among the group of thick wires 25, the ratio of the aluminum electric wire 22 is the same as or higher than the ratio of the copper electric wire 23. Specifically, in the example shown in FIG. 4, the group of thick wires 25 has 6 aluminum electric wires 22 and 2 copper electric wires 23. In this case, among the group of thick wires 25, the ratio of the aluminum electric wire 22 is 75%, and the ratio of the copper electric wire 23 is 25%. Among the group of thick wires 25, the ratio of the aluminum electric wire 22 may be 60% or more, 70% or more, 80% or more, or 90% or more. In the example shown in FIG. 4, the group of thick wires 25 has the copper electric wire 23, but the group of thick wires 25 may not have the copper electric wire 23. That is, among the group of thick wires 25, the ratio of the aluminum electric wire 22 may be 100%.
[0044] In this embodiment, the group of thin wires has eight copper wires 23. Therefore, among the plurality of wires 22 and 23 in the trunk-side wiring member 20, the proportion of the aluminum wire 22 is 37.5% or more, and the proportion of the copper wire 23 is 72.5%. In this embodiment, among the plurality of wires 22 and 23 in the trunk-side wiring member 20, the proportion of the aluminum wire 22 is lower than that of the copper wire 23, but the proportion of the aluminum wire 22 among the plurality of wires 22 and 23 in the trunk-side wiring member 20 may be the same as or higher than that of the copper wire 23.
[0045] <Proportion of aluminum wire at the connector connection part between wiring members> In this embodiment, the proportion of the aluminum wire 22 in the circuit of the trunk-side circuit 21 connected to the device-side circuit 41 is the same as or higher than the proportion of the aluminum wire 43 in the circuit of the device-side circuit 41 connected to the trunk-side circuit 21. Note that it is sufficient that this holds for at least one of the plurality of connector connection parts between the trunk-side wiring member 20 and the device-side wiring member 40, and it may or may not hold for all of the plurality of connector connection parts.
[0046] In this embodiment, the aluminum wire 43 is included in the circuit of the device-side circuit 41 connected to the trunk-side circuit 21. Therefore, first, consider the case where the aluminum wire 43 is included in the circuit of the device-side circuit 41 connected to the trunk-side circuit 21.
[0047] Let the combination of the trunk - side circuit 21 and the device - side circuit 41 connected to each other be represented as (trunk - side circuit 21, device - side circuit 41). For example, when the electric wires used for (trunk - side circuit 21, device - side circuit 41) are only copper electric wires and aluminum electric wires, the possible combinations considered as (trunk - side circuit 21, device - side circuit 41) are four combinations: (copper wire 23, copper wire 42), (aluminum wire 22, aluminum wire 43), (aluminum wire 22, copper wire 42), and (copper wire 23, aluminum wire 43). Among these four combinations, the number of (aluminum wire 22, copper wire 42) may be the same as or greater than the number of (copper wire 42, aluminum wire 22). Thereby, the ratio of aluminum wire 22 in the circuits of the trunk - side circuit 21 connected to the device - side circuit 41 is the same as or higher than the ratio of aluminum wire 43 in the circuits of the device - side circuit 41 connected to the trunk - side circuit 21. Note that the number of (copper wire 23, aluminum wire 43) may be zero.
[0048] Specifically, in the connector connection part shown in FIG. 2, as (trunk - side circuit 21, device - side circuit 41), there is one each of (copper wire 23, copper wire 42), (aluminum wire 22, aluminum wire 43), and (aluminum wire 22, copper wire 42), and the number of (copper wire 23, aluminum wire 43) is zero. In this case, the ratio of aluminum wire 22 in the circuits of the trunk - side circuit 21 connected to the device - side circuit 41 is 66.7%, and the ratio of aluminum wire 43 in the circuits of the device - side circuit 41 connected to the trunk - side circuit 21 is 33.3%.
[0049] Next, consider the case where there is no aluminum electric wire 43 in the circuit of the device-side circuit 41 that is connected to the main-line side circuit 21. In this case, the ratio of the aluminum electric wire 43 in the circuit of the device-side circuit 41 that is connected to the main-line side circuit 21 is zero. On the other hand, the ratio of the aluminum electric wire 22 in the circuit of the main-line side circuit 21 that is connected to the device-side circuit 41 is not zero but greater than zero. Therefore, even when there is no aluminum electric wire 43 in the circuit of the device-side circuit 41 that is connected to the main-line side circuit 21, the ratio of the aluminum electric wire 22 in the circuit of the main-line side circuit 21 that is connected to the device-side circuit 41 is the same as or higher than the ratio of the aluminum electric wire 43 in the circuit of the device-side circuit 41 that is connected to the main-line side circuit 21.
[0050] <Effect, etc.> According to the wiring system 10 configured as described above, when the main-line side wiring member 20 is electrically connected to the electric device 80 via the device-side wiring member 40, the arrangement position of the main-line side connector 26 can be set at a position away from the arrangement position of the electric device 80 by the length of the device-side wiring member 40. As a result, for example, even when the electric device 80 is arranged in an area where it is likely to get wet, the main-line side connector 26 can be arranged in an area where it is less likely to get wet than the area where the electric device 80 is arranged. Therefore, corrosion prevention of the aluminum electric wire 22 of the main-line side wiring member 20 can be made unnecessary or simplified, and it becomes easier to incorporate the aluminum electric wire 22 into the wiring system 10. By incorporating the aluminum electric wire 22 into the wiring system 10, the weight of the wiring system 10 can be reduced.
[0051] Also, at least one of the circuits 45 for the second electric device, which is connected to the second electric device 80b arranged in an area where there is a lower possibility of getting wet than the first electric device 80a, is an aluminum electric wire 43 connected to the aluminum electric wire 22b of the main-line side circuit 21 via the device-side connector 46 and the main-line side connector 26. This makes it easier to incorporate the aluminum electric wire 43 into the device-side wiring member 40.
[0052] In addition, the thick wire group 25 has aluminum wires 22, and among the thick wire group 25, the ratio of the aluminum wires 22 is the same as or higher than the ratio of the copper wires 23. Thereby, many of the thick wire groups 25 with a large conductor cross-sectional area in the trunk-side circuit 21 can be made of aluminum wires 22, enhancing the weight reduction effect of the trunk-side wiring member 20.
[0053] Moreover, the ratio of the aluminum wires 22 in the circuits of the trunk-side circuit 21 connected to the device-side circuit 41 is the same as or higher than the ratio of the aluminum wires 43 in the circuits of the device-side circuit 41 connected to the trunk-side circuit 21. Thereby, the weight reduction effect of the trunk-side wiring member 20 is enhanced.
[0054] The trunk-side connector 26 has a trunk-side connector terminal 26T connected to the aluminum wire 22, and the connection portion between the trunk-side connector terminal 26T and the aluminum wire 22 is non-corrosion-proof. Thereby, an increase in the cost of the wiring system 10 is suppressed.
[0055] [Embodiment 2] The wiring system according to Embodiment 2 will be described. FIG. 5 is an explanatory diagram showing the wiring system 110 according to Embodiment 2. FIG. 6 is an explanatory diagram showing a connection example of the trunk-side circuit 121 and the device-side circuit 141. In FIGS. 5 and 6, for convenience of explanation, each circuit is distinguished by a solid line, a thick line, a dotted line, a two-dot chain line, etc. In the description of the present embodiment, the same components as those described so far are denoted by the same reference numerals and their description is omitted.
[0056] The wiring system 110 includes a trunk-side wiring member 120, and further, as the device-side wiring member 140, exclusively includes a first-specification wiring member 50 and a second-specification wiring member 55 whose types of connected electrical devices are different from each other. The configuration of the trunk-side wiring member 20 is applicable to the trunk-side wiring member 120 as long as there is no particular contradiction. Also, the configuration of the device-side wiring member 40 is applicable to the first-specification wiring member 50 and the second-specification wiring member 55 respectively as long as there is no particular contradiction. Here, "exclusively" means that if any one of a plurality of situations is established, the other situations will not be established. That is, the wiring system 110 does not include the second-specification wiring member 55 when including the first-specification wiring member 50, and does not include the first-specification wiring member 50 when including the second-specification wiring member 55. The wiring system 110 as a whole does not deny the possibility of the existence of a third-specification wiring member, a fourth-specification wiring member, etc.
[0057] The trunk-side circuit 121 in the trunk-side wiring member 120 includes a multi-purpose circuit 30, a trunk-side first-purpose circuit 31, a trunk-side second-purpose circuit 32, and a common circuit 33.
[0058] The multi-purpose circuit 30 is a circuit used both for the first-specification wiring member 50 and for the second-specification wiring member 55. "Multi-purpose" means having a plurality of uses. The multi-purpose circuit 30 can also be said to be a circuit connected to different types of electrical devices 95 or 97 according to the selected specification.
[0059] The trunk-side first-purpose circuit 31 is a circuit for the first-purpose electrical device 95. The trunk-side second-purpose circuit 32 is a circuit for the second-purpose electrical device 97. The trunk-side first-purpose circuit 31 and the trunk-side second-purpose circuit 32 can become open circuits, that is, unused circuits, depending on the specification of the device-side wiring member 140.
[0060] The common circuit 33 is a circuit used as the same type of electrical transmission path regardless of whether the first-specification wiring member 50 or the second-specification wiring member 55 is selected.
[0061] The main line side connector 126 in the main line side wiring member 120 includes a multi-purpose connector 34 and a common connector 35.
[0062] The multi-purpose connector 34 is a connector to which the multi-purpose circuit 30 is connected. Either the first specification connector 54 or the second specification connector 59 is exclusively connected to the multi-purpose connector 34.
[0063] The common connector 35 is a connector that is used as a connection interface to other wiring members or electrical devices regardless of whether the first specification wiring member 50 or the second specification wiring member 55 is selected. For example, it is assumed that the common circuit 33 is connected to the common connector 35.
[0064] The first specification wiring member 50 includes a first specification circuit 51 as a device side circuit 41 and a first specification connector 54 as a device side connector 46. The first specification circuit 51 has a first application circuit 52 connected to an electrical device 95 of the first application. In FIG. 5, three first specification wiring members 50 are shown.
[0065] The first application circuit 52 is connected to the first specification connector 54. By connecting the first specification connector 54 to the multi-purpose connector 34, the multi-purpose circuit 30 is electrically connected to the first application circuit 52. The other end of the first application circuit 52 is electrically connected to the electrical device 95.
[0066] The second specification wiring member 55 includes a second specification circuit 56 as a device side circuit 41 and a second specification connector 59 as a device side connector 46. The second specification circuit 56 has a second application circuit 57 connected to an electrical device 97 of a second application different from the first application. In FIG. 5, three second specification wiring members 55 are shown corresponding to the three first specification wiring members 50.
[0067] The second application circuit 57 is connected to the second specification connector 59. By connecting the second specification connector 59 to the multi-purpose connector 34, the multi-purpose circuit 30 is electrically connected to the second application circuit 57. The second application circuit 57 is electrically connected to the electrical device 97.
[0068] It is not essential that the number of the first - specification wiring members 50 is the same as the number of the second - specification wiring members 55. When the number of the first - specification wiring members 50 is different from the number of the second - specification wiring members 55, depending on the specification, there may be a case where there is no connection destination for the multi - purpose connector 34. The first - specification wiring members 50 and the second - specification wiring members 55 are exclusively assembled to the vehicle according to the selected specification. In other words, the second - specification wiring member 55 is connected to an electric device 97 that is exclusively mounted on the vehicle with respect to the electric device 95.
[0069] That the types of the electric device 95 and the electric device 97 are different means, for example, that as a result of different applied specifications, they can be grasped as different types. Note that it is also assumed that a part of the plurality of electric devices 95 constituting the first equipment specification and a part of the plurality of electric devices 97 constituting the second equipment specification are the same parts.
[0070] The first - specification connector 54 and the second - specification connector 59 are connected to the same multi - purpose connector 34. For this reason, it is assumed that the second - specification connector 59 is the same connector as the first - specification connector 54. However, depending on the difference in the number of the first - use circuits 52 and the second - use circuits 57, the number of connector terminals of the first - specification connector 54 and the second - specification connector 59 may be different, or at least one of the first - specification connector 54 and the second - specification connector 59 may be provided with dummy connector terminals that are not connected to the electric wire.
[0071] In the first - specification wiring member 50 or the second - specification wiring member 55, when there are a plurality of electric devices that are connection destinations from the multi - purpose connector 34, a plurality of the first - use circuits 52 or a plurality of the second - use circuits 57 may branch in the middle. In FIG. 5, a plurality of the first - use circuits 52 branch in the middle according to the electric devices 95b and 95c.
[0072] Each of the first-specification wiring member 50 and the second-specification wiring member 55 may have a device-side common circuit 53, 58 for common electrical devices 92a, 92b. In FIG. 5, an example is shown in which, corresponding to the electrical device 92a, the first-specification wiring member 50 has the device-side common circuit 53 and the second-specification wiring member 55 has the device-side common circuit 58. The device-side common circuit 53 is connected to the first-specification connector 54, and the device-side common circuit 58 is connected to the second-specification connector 59. When the first-specification wiring member 50 is selected, the common circuit 33 in the trunk-side wiring member 120 is connected to the electrical device 92a via the device-side common circuit 53. When the second-specification wiring member 55 is selected, the common circuit 33 in the trunk-side wiring member 120 is connected to the electrical device 92a via the device-side common circuit 58. That is, the device-side common circuits 53, 58 are circuits connected to the same type of electrical device regardless of the specification.
[0073] Here, the device-side wiring member 140 further includes a device-side common wiring member 60. In FIG. 5, the device-side common wiring member 60 is connected to the common connector 35. The device-side common wiring member 60 includes a circuit 61 and a connector 62. One end of the circuit 61 is connected to the connector 62, and the other end of the circuit 61 is connected to the common electrical device 92b either via a connector or without a connector. By connecting the connector 62 to the common connector 35, the common circuit 33 in the trunk-side wiring member 120 is connected to the electrical device 92b via the circuit 61. That is, the device-side common wiring member 60 does not include the first-use circuit 52 and the second-use circuit 57 that depend on the specification, and is a wiring member connected to the same type of electrical device regardless of the specification.
[0074] At least one of the trunk - side circuits 121 is an aluminum electric wire 22. At least one of the first - specification circuits 51 is a copper electric wire 42 connected to the aluminum electric wire 22 of the trunk - side circuit 121. Also, at least one of the second - specification circuits 56 is a copper electric wire 42 connected to the aluminum electric wire 22 of the trunk - side circuit 121. Therefore, when the first - specification wiring member 50 is connected to the trunk - side wiring member 120, the aluminum electric wire 22 of the trunk - side circuit 121 and the copper electric wire 42 of the first - specification circuit 51 are connected. When the second - specification wiring member 55 is connected to the trunk - side wiring member 120, the aluminum electric wire 22 of the trunk - side circuit 121 and the copper electric wire 42 of the second - specification circuit 56 are connected.
[0075] In the present embodiment, in the trunk - side circuit 121, at least the multi - purpose circuit 30 among the multi - purpose circuit 30, the trunk - side first - use circuit 31, the trunk - side second - use circuit 32, and the common circuit 33 has a circuit that is the aluminum electric wire 22. When the multi - purpose circuit 30 has a plurality of circuits, the multi - purpose circuit 30 may have both a circuit that is the aluminum electric wire 22 and a circuit that is the copper electric wire 23. However, even if the multi - purpose circuit 30 does not have a circuit that is the aluminum electric wire 22, the trunk - side first - use circuit 31 and the trunk - side second - use circuit 32 may have a circuit that is the aluminum electric wire 22, or the common circuit 33 may have a circuit that is the aluminum electric wire 22.
[0076] In the present embodiment, in the first - specification circuit 51, at least the first - use circuit 52 among the first - use circuit 52 and the device - side common circuit 53 has a circuit that is a copper electric wire connected to the aluminum electric wire 22. In particular, the circuit that is the copper electric wire is set to the circuit among the first - use circuits 52 that is connected to the multi - purpose circuit 30. When the trunk - side first - use circuit 31 has a circuit that is the aluminum electric wire 22, the circuit that is the copper electric wire is set to the circuit among the first - use circuits 52 that is connected to the trunk - side first - use circuit 31. When the common circuit 33 has a circuit that is the aluminum electric wire 22, the circuit that is the copper electric wire is set to the device - side common circuit 53.
[0077] Similarly, in the second specification circuit 56, at least the second application circuit 57 among the second application circuit 57 and the device-side common circuit 58 has a circuit in which a copper wire connected to the aluminum wire 22 is used. In particular, the circuit using the copper wire is set as a circuit connected to the multi-purpose circuit 30 among the second application circuits 57. When the trunk-side second application circuit 32 is a circuit using the aluminum wire 22, the circuit using the copper wire is set as a circuit connected to the trunk-side second application circuit 32 among the second application circuits 57. When the common circuit 33 is a circuit using the aluminum wire 22, the circuit using the copper wire is set as the device-side common circuit 58.
[0078] The trunk-side wiring member 120 may include a circuit other than the multi-purpose circuit 30. The circuit other than the multi-purpose circuit 30 may have a circuit using the aluminum wire 22 or a circuit using the copper wire 23. When the circuit other than the multi-purpose circuit 30 has a plurality of circuits, the circuit other than the multi-purpose circuit 30 may have both a circuit using the aluminum wire 22 and a circuit using the copper wire 23.
[0079] In this embodiment, at least one of the multi-purpose circuits 30 is the aluminum wire 22. At least one of the first application circuits 52 is the copper wire 42 connected to the aluminum wire 22 of the multi-purpose circuit 30. Also, at least one of the second application circuits 57 is the copper wire 42 connected to the aluminum wire 22 of the multi-purpose circuit 30. Therefore, when the first specification wiring member 50 is connected to the trunk-side wiring member 120, the aluminum wire 22 of the multi-purpose circuit 30 and the copper wire 42 of the first application circuit 52 are connected. When the second specification wiring member 55 is connected to the trunk-side wiring member 120, the aluminum wire 22 of the multi-purpose circuit 30 and the copper wire 42 of the second application circuit 57 are connected.
[0080] When the main line side circuit 121 includes a plurality of aluminum electric wires 22, the copper electric wire 42 of the first specification circuit 51 and the copper electric wire 42 of the second specification circuit 56 may be connected to the same aluminum electric wire 22 of the main line side circuit 121, or may be connected to different aluminum electric wires 22 of the main line side circuit 121. In other words, one aluminum electric wire 22 in the main line side circuit 121 may be connected to the copper electric wire 42 of the first specification circuit 51 when the connection partner of the main line side wiring member 120 is the first specification wiring member 50, and may be connected to the copper electric wire 42 of the second specification circuit 56 when it is the second specification wiring member 55. One aluminum electric wire 22 in the main line side circuit 121 may be connected to the aluminum electric wire 43 of the first specification circuit 51 when the connection partner of the main line side wiring member 120 is the first specification wiring member 50, and may be connected to the copper electric wire 42 of the second specification circuit 56 when it is the second specification wiring member 55. One aluminum electric wire 22 in the main line side circuit 121 may be connected to the copper electric wire 42 of the first specification circuit 51 when the connection partner of the main line side wiring member 120 is the first specification wiring member 50, and may be connected to the aluminum electric wire 43 of the second specification circuit 56 when it is the second specification wiring member 55. Similarly, when the multi-purpose circuit 30 includes a plurality of aluminum electric wires 22, the copper electric wire 42 of the first use circuit 52 and the copper electric wire 42 of the second use circuit 57 may be connected to the same aluminum electric wire 22 of the multi-purpose circuit 30, or may be connected to different aluminum electric wires 22 of the multi-purpose circuit 30.
[0081] In the wiring system 110, the case where the first specification wiring member 50 is connected to the main line side wiring member 120 and the case where the second specification wiring member 55 is connected to the main line side wiring member 120 will be described in more detail.
[0082] The main line side wiring member 120 includes five multi-purpose circuits 30. Hereinafter, the five multi-purpose circuits 30 are distinguished as multi-purpose circuits 30a, 30b, 30c, 30d, and 30e as necessary.
[0083] The trunk-side wiring member 120 includes six trunk-side first-use circuits 31 and five trunk-side second-use circuits 32. Hereinafter, as necessary, the six trunk-side first-use circuits 31 are distinguished as trunk-side first-use circuits 31a, 31b, 31c, 31d, 31e, and 31f. Hereinafter, as necessary, the five trunk-side second-use circuits 32 are distinguished as trunk-side second-use circuits 32a, 32b, 32c, 32d, and 32e.
[0084] The multi-purpose connector 34 in the trunk-side wiring member 120 is distinguished as multi-purpose connectors 34A, 34B, and 34C according to the connection destination. Each end of the multi-purpose circuit 30, the trunk-side first-use circuit 31, and the trunk-side second-use circuit 32 is connected to one of the connector terminals of the multi-purpose connectors 34A, 34B, 34C, and the common connector 35.
[0085] Here, one end of the multi-purpose circuits 30a, 30b, 30c, and 30d is connected to the connector terminal in the multi-purpose connector 34B, and the other end is connected to the connector terminal in the multi-purpose connector 34C. One end of the multi-purpose circuit 30e is connected to the connector terminal in the multi-purpose connector 34A, and the other end is connected to the connector terminal in the multi-purpose connector 34C.
[0086] One end of the trunk-side first-use circuits 31a, 31b, 31c, 31d, 31e, and 31f is connected to the connector terminal in the multi-purpose connector 34A, and the other end is connected to the connector terminal in the multi-purpose connector 34B.
[0087] One end of the trunk-side second-use circuits 32a, 32b, and 32c is connected to the connector terminal in the multi-purpose connector 34A, and the other end is connected to the connector terminal in the multi-purpose connector 34C. One end of the trunk-side second-use circuits 32d and 32e is connected to the connector terminal in the multi-purpose connector 34B, and the other end is connected to the connector terminal in the multi-purpose connector 34C.
[0088] One end of the common circuit 33 is connected to a connector terminal in the multi-purpose connector 34A, and the other end is connected to a connector terminal in the common connector 35. When the plurality of circuits pass through the same path, the plurality of circuits may be kept bundled by a bundling member 70 such as an adhesive tape or a binding band.
[0089] The plurality of first-specification wiring members 50 are distinguished as first-specification wiring members 50A, 50B, and 50C. The first-specification wiring member 50A is connected to the multi-purpose connector 34A, the first-specification wiring member 50B is connected to the multi-purpose connector 34B, and the first-specification wiring member 50C is connected to the multi-purpose connector 34C. The first-specification wiring member 50A is connected to the electrical device 95a, the first-specification wiring member 50B is connected to the electrical devices 95b and 95c, and the first-specification wiring member 50C is connected to the electrical device 95d.
[0090] The first-specification wiring member 50A has seven first-purpose circuits 52 and one device-side common circuit 53. The plurality of first-purpose circuits 52 are distinguished as first-purpose circuits 52a, 52b, 52c, 52d, 52e, 52f, and 52g.
[0091] When the first-specification connector 54 is connected to the multi-purpose connector 34A, the first-purpose circuits 52a, 52b, 52c, 52d, 52e, and 52f are electrically connected to the trunk-side first-purpose circuits 31a, 31b, 31c, 31d, 31e, and 31f, and the first-purpose circuit 52g is connected to the multi-purpose circuit 30e. Therefore, the trunk-side first-purpose circuits 31a, 31b, 31c, 31d, 31e, and 31f and the multi-purpose circuit 30e are electrically connected to the electrical device 95a via the first-purpose circuits 52a, 52b, 52c, 52d, 52e, 52f, and 52g.
[0092] The common circuit 33 is electrically connected to the electrical device 92a via the device-side common circuit 53. The trunk-side second-purpose circuits 32a, 32b, and 32c are open circuits on the multi-purpose connector 34A side.
[0093] The first specification wiring member 50B has ten first-purpose circuits 52. The plurality of first-purpose circuits 52 branch off on the way away from the first specification connector 54 and are connected to the electrical devices 95b and 95c. When the first specification connector 54 is connected to the multi-purpose connector 34B, the first-purpose circuits 52 are connected to the trunk-side first-purpose circuits 31a, 31b, 31c, 31d, 31e, 31f and the multi-purpose circuits 30a, 30b, 30c, 30d. For this reason, the trunk-side first-purpose circuits 31a, 31b, 31c, 31d, 31e, 31f and the multi-purpose circuits 30a, 30b, 30c, 30d are electrically connected to the electrical device 95b or the electrical device 95c via the first-purpose circuits 52 of the first specification wiring member 50B. In this case, in the multi-purpose connector 34B, the trunk-side second-purpose circuits 32d and 32e are in an open state.
[0094] Also, the first specification wiring member 50C has five first-purpose circuits 52. When the first specification connector 54 is connected to the multi-purpose connector 34C, the first-purpose circuits 52 are connected to the multi-purpose circuits 30a, 30b, 30c, 30d, 30e. For this reason, the multi-purpose circuits 30a, 30b, 30c, 30d, 30e are electrically connected to the electrical device 95d via the first-purpose circuits 52 of the first specification wiring member 50C. In this case, in the multi-purpose connector 34C, the trunk-side second-purpose circuits 32a, 32b, 32c, 32d, 32e are in an open state.
[0095] Similarly to the above, a plurality of second specification wiring members 55 are distinguished as second specification wiring members 55A, 55B, 55C.
[0096] The second specification wiring member 55A has three second-purpose circuits 57 and one device-side common circuit 58. The plurality of second-purpose circuits 57 are distinguished as second-purpose circuits 57a, 57b, 57c, 57d.
[0097] When the second - specification connector 59 is connected to the multi - purpose connector 34A, the second - use circuits 57a, 57b, 57c are electrically connected to the trunk - side second - use circuits 32a, 32b, 32c, and the second - use circuit 57d is connected to the multi - purpose circuit 30e. For this reason, the trunk - side second - use circuits 32a, 32b, 32c and the multi - purpose circuit 30e are electrically connected to the electrical device 97a via the second - use circuits 57a, 57b, 57c, 57d.
[0098] Similar to the case where the first - specification wiring member 50A is selected, the common circuit 33 is electrically connected to the electrical device 92a via the device - side common circuit 58. Different from the case where the first - specification wiring member 50A is selected, the trunk - side first - use circuits 31a, 31b, 31c, 31d, 31e, 31f are in an open state on the multi - purpose connector 34A side.
[0099] The second - specification wiring member 55B has six second - use circuits 57. When the second - specification connector 59 is connected to the multi - purpose connector 34B, the second - use circuits 57 are connected to the trunk - side second - use circuits 32d, 32e and the multi - purpose circuits 30a, 30b, 30c, 30d. For this reason, the trunk - side second - use circuits 32d, 32e and the multi - purpose circuits 30a, 30b, 30c, 30d are electrically connected to the electrical device 97b via the second - use circuits 57 of the second - specification wiring member 55B. In this case, on the multi - purpose connector 34B, the trunk - side first - use circuits 31a, 31b, 31c, 31d, 31e, 31f are in an open state.
[0100] Also, the second - specification wiring member 55C has ten second - use circuits 57. When the second - specification connector 59 is connected to the multi - purpose connector 34C, the second - use circuits 57 are connected to the multi - purpose circuits 30a, 30b, 30c, 30d, 30e and the trunk - side second - use circuits 32a, 32b, 32c, 32d, 32e. For this reason, the multi - purpose circuits 30a, 30b, 30c, 30d, 30e and the trunk - side second - use circuits 32a, 32b, 32c, 32d, 32e are electrically connected to the electrical device 97c via the second - use circuits 57 of the second - specification wiring member 55C.
[0101] <Example of the connection destination of the multi-purpose circuit 30> FIG. 6 is an explanatory diagram showing an example of the connection destination of the multi-purpose circuit 30. In FIG. 6, an example in which the multi-purpose circuits 30a, 30b, 30c, and 30d are connected to the electric device 95c via the first-specification wiring member 50 and an example in which they are connected to the electric device 97b via the second-specification wiring member 55 are shown.
[0102] As shown in FIG. 6, the multi-purpose circuit 30 includes multi-purpose circuits 30c and 30d that transmit different types of electricity in a state where the first-specification connector 54 is connected to the multi-purpose connector 34B and in a state where the second-specification connector 59 is connected to the multi-purpose connector 34B.
[0103] Circuits that transmit different types of electricity are, for example, circuits in which the applied voltage, the assumed maximum current value, or the signal format is different between the first equipment specification and the second equipment specification.
[0104] The multi-purpose connector 34 may include multi-purpose circuits 30c and 30d that transmit different electricity with respect to any of power supply, ground, and signal in a state where the first-specification connector 54 is connected to the multi-purpose connector 34B and in a state where the second-specification connector 59 is connected to the multi-purpose connector 34B.
[0105] In the example shown in FIG. 6, when the first-specification connector 54 of the first-specification wiring member 50 is connected to the multi-purpose connector 34B, the multi-purpose circuit 30c is connected to the actuator 81 and serves as a circuit for supplying power to the actuator 81. On the other hand, when the second-specification connector 59 of the second-specification wiring member 55 is connected to the multi-purpose connector 34B, the multi-purpose circuit 30c is connected to the sensor 83 and serves as a circuit for transmitting a detection signal.
[0106] When the first specification connector 54 of the first specification wiring member 50 is connected to the multi-purpose connector 34B, the multi-purpose circuit 30d is connected to the communication circuit 82 and becomes a circuit for transmitting communication signals. On the other hand, when the second specification connector 59 of the second specification wiring member 55 is connected to the multi-purpose connector 34B, the multi-purpose circuit 30d is connected to the ground circuit 84 and becomes a circuit for transmitting electricity for grounding.
[0107] The cross-sectional size of the multi-purpose circuit 30 is not particularly limited. For example, when the multi-purpose circuit 30 is the core wire of an electric wire, the cross-sectional area of the core wire may be classified into any of 0.13 sq, 0.35 sq, 0.5 sq, and 2 sq.
[0108] <Application Example to Vehicle> FIG. 7 is an explanatory diagram showing an example in which the wiring system 110 according to Embodiment 2 is applied to a vehicle 90.
[0109] An example of a system mounted on the vehicle 90 will be described. The vehicle 90 is equipped with a common equipment system 91. The common equipment system 91 is a system that is commonly mounted on vehicles of a specific platform or a specific vehicle model regardless of the grade difference and the difference in optional parts. For example, when a common instrument panel system is mounted on a vehicle of a specific platform or a specific vehicle model, the instrument panel system is an example of the common equipment system 91. The common equipment system 91 includes at least one of electric devices 92a and 92b for realizing the functions of the common equipment system 91. For example, if the common equipment system 91 is an instrument panel system, the common equipment system 91 includes, as the electric devices 92a and 92b, a display device for displaying various information to the driver, a switch for receiving various instructions from the driver, an ECU (Electronic Control Unit), etc. The ECU performs, for example, display control of the display device, reception of instructions via the switch, and reception of various signals from various sensors and other ECUs. Although two electric devices 92a and 92b are illustrated in FIG. 7, the number and position thereof are not particularly limited.
[0110] An exclusive equipment system 93 is set in the vehicle 90. The exclusive equipment system 93 is a system that can exclusively adopt the first equipment specification 94 and the second equipment specification 96 in the vehicle 90. Here, "exclusive" means that if any one of the above-described multiple situations is established, the other situations will not be established. Therefore, being able to exclusively adopt the first equipment specification 94 and the second equipment specification 96 means that if the first equipment specification 94 is adopted, the second equipment specification 96 cannot be adopted, and if the second equipment specification 96 is adopted, the first equipment specification 94 cannot be adopted. In this case, it is not excluded that the exclusive equipment system 93 can adopt a third equipment specification, a fourth equipment specification, etc. as other exclusive options in addition to the first equipment specification 94 and the second equipment specification 96.
[0111] An example of the exclusive equipment system is the case where the first equipment specification 94 is an AT (Automatic Transmission) specification and the second equipment specification 96 is an MT (Manual Transmission) specification. For example, if the first equipment specification 94 is an AT specification, the exclusive equipment system includes, as the electrical equipment 95, a sensor for detecting the position of the shift lever, a switch for receiving commands for the operating mode of the AT, various solenoids, and an AT mechanism for changing the rotational speed of the drive source including various sensors, an ECU for the AT, etc. The ECU for the AT controls, for example, the gear ratio in the AT mechanism according to the vehicle speed, the engine rotational speed, the accelerator operation, etc. Also, for example, if the second equipment specification 96 is an MT specification, the exclusive equipment system includes, as the electrical equipment 97, a sensor for detecting the position of the shift lever, a sensor for detecting the position of the clutch pedal, an ECU for the engine, etc. In this embodiment, an explanation is made assuming that the first equipment specification 94 is an AT specification and the second equipment specification 96 is an MT specification. The AT specification and the MT specification are exclusively mounted on the vehicle 90 as specifications for transmitting the rotation of the running drive source to the wheels after shifting.
[0112] When the wiring system 110 is applied to the first equipment specification 94, the first specification wiring members 50A, 50B, and 50C are selected. In this case, the multi-purpose circuit 30 and the trunk-side first-purpose circuit 31 in the trunk-side wiring member 120 are used, and the trunk-side second-purpose circuit 32 remains unused with each connector open.
[0113] When the wiring system 110 is applied to the second equipment specification 96, the second specification wiring members 55A, 55B, and 55C are selected. In this case, the multi-purpose circuit 30 and the trunk-side second-purpose circuit 32 in the trunk-side wiring member 120 are used, and the trunk-side first-purpose circuit 31 remains unused with each connector open.
[0114] In any case, the multi-purpose circuit 30 is used. That is, the multi-purpose circuit 30 is utilized as a circuit for multiple specifications. As the multi-purpose circuit 30 is commonly used as a multi-purpose circuit among multiple specifications, the number of circuits can be reduced as a wiring member for multiple specifications.
[0115] Note that in FIG. 7, two electrical devices 92a, 92b, four electrical devices 95a, 95b, 95c, 95d, and three electrical devices 97a, 97b, 97c are illustrated, but their numbers and positions are arbitrary.
[0116] Another example of an exclusive equipment system is a case where the first equipment specification is a mechanical key specification and the second equipment specification is a smart key specification. The mechanical key specification is a system in which a driver inserts a key he or she possesses into a keyhole provided around a door, a handle, etc., to open and close the lock of the vehicle door, switch to the unlocked state of the handle, and switch the power source to an operable state. The smart key specification is a system in which wireless communication is performed between a wireless communication device mounted on the vehicle and a wireless key terminal possessed by the driver to open and close the lock of the vehicle door, switch to the unlocked state of the handle, and switch the power source to an operable state. Note that the smart key specification may include a configuration related to the mechanical key specification. The mechanical key specification does not incorporate a configuration related to the smart key specification. The mechanical key specification and the smart key specification are exclusively mounted on the vehicle as security specifications for locking and unlocking each part of the vehicle.
[0117] Still another example of an exclusive equipment system relates to the driving power system of a vehicle, where the first equipment specification is a specification for an internal combustion engine and the second equipment specification is a specification for a hybrid using an internal combustion engine and an electric motor. In this case, the first equipment specification or the second equipment specification may be a specification for an electric motor. In addition to the first equipment specification and the second equipment specification, a specification for an electric motor may be set as the third equipment specification. Each of these specifications is exclusively mounted on the vehicle as a system related to the driving power of the vehicle.
[0118] Still another example of an exclusive equipment system relates to a system related to the audio and video of a vehicle, where the first equipment specification is a simple specification and the second equipment specification is a luxurious specification. For example, it is assumed that the first equipment specification is a specification having only a radio receiver and speakers, and the second equipment specification is a specification having a multimedia player, a display device, multi-channel speakers, a camera for photographing the outside of the vehicle, etc.
[0119] Regarding the examples of the above common equipment system and exclusive equipment system, a part of the electrical equipment constituting the common equipment system and a part of the electrical equipment constituting the exclusive equipment system may be shared by both. Also, a part of the electrical equipment constituting the first equipment specification set as the exclusive equipment system and a part of the electrical equipment constituting the second equipment specification may be common.
[0120] Note that the first equipment specification and the second equipment specification may be specifications that are exclusively selected during vehicle manufacturing, or specifications that are exclusively selected after vehicle manufacturing. After either the first equipment specification or the second equipment specification is selected during vehicle manufacturing, it may be changed to the other of the first equipment specification and the second equipment specification. For example, the system related to the audio and video of the vehicle can be a specification that is exclusively selected after vehicle manufacturing, and can also be a specification that is changed from one of the first equipment specification and the second equipment specification to the other after vehicle manufacturing.
[0121] <Effects, etc.> According to this wiring system 110, the same operational effects as those in the above Embodiment 1 can be obtained. In addition, the trunk-side circuit 121 has the multi-purpose circuit 30. When the first-specification connector 54 is connected to the trunk-side connector 126, the multi-purpose circuit 30 is connected to the first-purpose circuit 52. When the second-specification connector 59 is connected to the trunk-side connector 126, the multi-purpose circuit 30 is connected to the second-purpose circuit 57. Thereby, in the wiring system 110, while the trunk-side wiring member 120 is shared, a plurality of types of wiring members 50, 55 with different specifications can be selectively used as the device-side wiring member 140 according to the types of the electrical devices 95, 97, and it is possible to easily cope with the specification differences of the vehicle. Since the trunk-side wiring member 120 to be shared has the aluminum electric wire 22, the aluminum electric wire 22 can be incorporated into the wiring system 110 regardless of the specification of the device-side wiring member 140.
[0122] Also, generally, the larger the current value flowing through a circuit, the larger the conductor cross-sectional area of the circuit needs to be, and accordingly, the weight of the circuit increases. The conductor cross-sectional area of the multi-purpose circuit 30 may be set to a large conductor cross-sectional area corresponding to the application with the highest current value among a plurality of different applications. Even in this case, since the multi-purpose circuit 30 has the aluminum electric wire 22, an increase in the weight of the multi-purpose circuit 30 can be suppressed.
[0123] [Appendix] So far, among the thick electric wire group 25, the ratio of the aluminum electric wires 22 and 43 has been described as being the same as or higher than the ratio of the copper electric wires 23 and 42, but this is not an essential configuration. Among the thick electric wire group 25, the ratio of the aluminum electric wires 22 and 43 may be lower than the ratio of the copper electric wires 23 and 42.
[0124] Also so far, the ratio of the aluminum electric wires 22 and 43 in the circuits of the trunk-side circuit 21 connected to the device-side circuit 41 has been described as being the same as or higher than the ratio of the aluminum electric wires 22 and 43 in the circuits of the device-side circuit 41 connected to the trunk-side circuit 21, but this is not an essential configuration. The ratio of the aluminum electric wires 22 and 43 in the circuits of the trunk-side circuit 21 connected to the device-side circuit 41 may be lower than the ratio of the aluminum electric wires 22 and 43 in the circuits of the device-side circuit 41 connected to the trunk-side circuit 21.
[0125] In addition, the respective configurations described in the above embodiments and each modification can be appropriately combined as long as they do not contradict each other.
