Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] The present disclosure relates to a cosmetic container for containing cosmetics.
Background Art
[0002] Patent Document 1 describes a compact case. The compact case includes an upper case and a lower case. The upper case is connected to the lower case by a first hinge pin and is openable and closable with respect to the lower case about the first hinge pin. A coupling hole is formed in the inner bottom of the lower case, and a refillable encapsulated cosmetic is coupled to the coupling hole.
[0003] The encapsulated cosmetic coupled to the coupling hole has its lower end exposed from the lower bottom of the lower case. A convex elastic locking piece is formed in the coupling hole. The encapsulated cosmetic has a capsule that houses a porous pad. The capsule has a locking groove on the outer peripheral surface of its lower end. The elastic locking piece of the coupling hole is coupled to the locking groove of the capsule. More specifically, when the encapsulated cosmetic is pushed into the coupling hole from above, the elastic locking piece of the coupling hole abuts against the outer peripheral surface of the lower end of the capsule, and the elastic locking piece gets over the outer peripheral surface of the lower end and fits into the locking groove of the capsule. Thereby, the detachment of the encapsulated cosmetic from the coupling hole is prevented.

Summary of the Invention
Problems to be Solved by the Invention
[0005] Incidentally, in a cosmetic container, a highly volatile cosmetic may be used. However, in the encapsulated cosmetics described above, the lower end thereof is exposed from the lower bottom of the lower case. In this case, ensuring airtightness becomes insufficient, and there is a concern that the cosmetic may deteriorate due to drying or the like.
[0006] An object of the present disclosure is to provide a cosmetic container that can sufficiently ensure airtightness.
Means for Solving the Problems
[0007] (1) The cosmetic container according to the present disclosure is a cosmetic container for accommodating cosmetics. The cosmetic container includes a base to which a cover is detachably coupled, a storage portion having an opening into which the cosmetic enters and for storing the cosmetic that has entered through the opening, a cup disposed on the base, a ring member that suppresses the leakage of the cosmetic from the storage portion by closing a part of the opening, an annular packing disposed between the cup and the ring member, and a lid that is detachably coupled to the ring member via a first hinge and seals the storage portion when closed. The ring member has a cylindrical portion that protrudes downward. The base is located outside the storage portion in a plan view and has a recess into which the cylindrical portion enters. The cylindrical portion has a first screw portion formed on either its outer surface or inner surface. The recess has a second screw portion formed on a surface facing the surface on which the first screw portion of the cylindrical portion is formed. By rotating the ring member with respect to the base and the cup about the axis of the cylindrical portion, the first screw portion is screwed into the second screw portion and the ring member presses the packing against the cup.
[0008] In this cosmetic container, a cup having a storage portion for storing cosmetics is disposed on a base, and a ring member closes a part of the opening of the cup to prevent the cosmetics from leaking out of the storage portion. An annular packing is disposed between the cup and the ring member, and the storage portion is sealed when a lid that is made openable and closable with respect to the ring member is closed. Therefore, since the storage portion can be sealed by the lid and the packing, airtightness with respect to the cosmetics stored in the storage portion can be ensured. The ring member has a cylindrical portion protruding downward, and the base has a recess into which the cylindrical portion fits. The cylindrical portion has a first screw portion, and the recess has a second screw portion on a surface facing the cylindrical portion. When the ring member rotates with respect to the base and the cup with the cylindrical portion fitted into the recess, the first screw portion is screwed and engaged with the second screw portion, and the annular packing is pressed against the cup. By the lid sealing the storage portion and the ring member pressing the annular packing against the cup, airtightness with respect to the cosmetics can be further enhanced. Therefore, sufficient airtightness of the cosmetics can be ensured.
[0009] (2) In the above (1), the cover may be coupled to the base via a second hinge so as to be openable and closable.
[0010] (3) In the above (2), when the first screw part is screwed and coupled to the second screw part, the first hinge is located at either one of a pair of positions sandwiching a reference line passing through the centers of the second hinge and the base, and it may be possible to select either one of the pair of positions. If the first hinge is located on the reference line passing through the centers of the second hinge and the base, the lid will open to the front side or the back side with respect to the cover. Therefore, the opened lid may be obstructive. On the other hand, when the first hinge is located at either one of the pair of positions sandwiching the reference line as described above, the opened lid can be prevented from being obstructive, so that the usability of the cosmetic container can be improved. Further, when it is possible to select either one of the pair of positions where the first hinge is located, for example, a right-handed user can position the first hinge on the left side of the reference line, and a left-handed user can position the first hinge on the right side of the reference line. Thus, it contributes to further improvement in usability. And since the first hinge is located at a position where the lid does not contact the cover when the lid is opened, contact between the lid and the cover can be avoided, so that the usability of the cosmetic container can be further improved.
[0011] (4) In any one of the above (1) to (3), the packing may have an opposing surface facing the cup and a protrusion protruding from the opposing surface and abutting against the cup. In this case, when the first screw part is screwed and coupled to the second screw part and the packing is pressed against the cup, the protrusion formed on the opposing surface of the packing is crushed on the cup. Therefore, the airtightness of the upper part of the cup can be further enhanced.
[0012] (5) In any one of the above (1) to (4), the lid may have a first annular recess that is recessed upward when the lid is closed, and the ring member may have a first annular protrusion that fits into the first annular recess when the lid is closed. In this case, when the lid is closed, the first annular protrusion of the ring member fits into the first annular recess of the lid, so that the airtightness can be enhanced and the lid can be firmly joined to the ring member.
[0013] (6) In the above (5), the lid may have a second annular recess that is recessed upward when the lid is closed and is located outside the first annular recess in a plan view, and the ring member may have a second annular protrusion that enters the second annular recess when the lid is closed. In this case, when the lid is closed, the first annular protrusion fits into the first annular recess and the second annular protrusion enters the second annular recess. Therefore, airtightness can be further enhanced and the bonding force of the ring member to the lid can be further increased.
[0014] (7) In any of the above (1) to (6), the cup may have a top surface on which the packing is placed, and the top surface may be flat. In this case, when the packing is pressed against the flat top surface of the cup, the adhesion of the packing to the cup can be increased. Therefore, the airtightness of the cup can be further enhanced.
[0015] (8) In any of the above (1) to (7), the base may have a side surface portion and a bottom portion located below the side surface portion. In this case, since the base has a bottom portion, the cup can be stably accommodated and the airtightness of the base can be ensured.
[0016] (9) In any of the above (1) to (8), the ring member may have a recess for accommodating the packing. The recess may be defined by a first surface facing the inner side in the radial direction of the ring member, a second surface facing downward, and a third surface facing the outer side in the radial direction of the ring member. The ring member may further have a protrusion formed on the second surface. In this case, the airtightness can be further enhanced by the protrusion formed on the second surface of the recess entering the packing accommodated in the recess.
Advantages of the Invention
[0017] According to the present disclosure, it is possible to provide a cosmetic container capable of sufficiently ensuring airtightness.

Mode for Carrying Out the Invention
[0019] Hereinafter, embodiments of a cosmetic container according to the present disclosure will be described with reference to the drawings. In the description of the drawings, the same or corresponding elements are denoted by the same reference numerals, and redundant descriptions are omitted as appropriate. The drawings may be drawn with some parts simplified or exaggerated for ease of understanding, and dimensional ratios and the like are not limited to those shown in the drawings.
[0020] FIG. 1(a) is a plan view showing a cosmetic container 1 according to the present embodiment. FIG. 1(b) is a side view showing the cosmetic container 1. As shown in FIGS. 1(a) and 1(b), the cosmetic container 1 has a cylindrical shape. The cosmetic container 1 contains a cosmetic. The cosmetic container 1 is, for example, a foundation. The cosmetic container 1 may be a loose powder foundation. Also, the cosmetic container 1 may be a liquid foundation.
[0021] FIG. 2(a) is a cross-sectional view taken along line A-A of FIG. 1(a). FIG. 2(b) is a cross-sectional view taken along line B-B of FIG. 1(a). As shown in FIGS. 1(a), 1(b), 2(a) and 2(b), the cosmetic container 1 includes a refill container 10 and a holding member 2 that houses and holds the refill container 10.
[0022] The refill container 10 contains a cosmetic. The cosmetic is, for example, a solid cosmetic or a semi-solid cosmetic. The cosmetic may be wax. In the present embodiment, an example in which the impregnated body 11 is impregnated with a cosmetic will be described. The impregnated body 11 is, for example, a sponge. As an example, the impregnated body 11 has a cylindrical shape.
[0023] The cosmetic is, for example, a powder cosmetic or a liquid cosmetic. As an example, the cosmetic is composed of a volatile material. In this case, it is required to further improve the airtightness in the refill container 10. However, the type of the cosmetic container 1 and the type of the cosmetic are not particularly limited.
[0024] First, an example of the holding member 2 will be described. The holding member 2 has a circular shape in plan view. The holding member 2 has, for example, a cylindrical shape. The holding member 2 includes a base 3 that houses the refill container 10 and a cover 4 that seals the base 3 housing the refill container 10. Hereinafter, the direction in which the cover 4 is located as viewed from the base 3 will be referred to as upward, upper side, or upper direction, and the direction in which the base 3 is located as viewed from the cover 4 will be referred to as downward, lower side, or lower direction. Further, the case of viewing from above will be referred to as plan view, and the case of viewing from below will be referred to as bottom view.
[0025] The cover 4 is made of, for example, an ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) resin. For example, the cover 4 has a cylindrical shape. The cover 4 has a top surface 4b extending in both the first direction D1 and a second direction D2 intersecting the first direction D1, and an outer surface 4c facing a direction intersecting the top surface 4b. The cover 4 has a thickness in a third direction D3 intersecting both the first direction D1 and the second direction D2. The cover 4 has, for example, an inner surface 4d, a bottom surface 4f facing a direction opposite to the top surface 4b, and a mirror 4g attached to the bottom surface 4f.
[0026] For example, the first direction D1 and the second direction D2 are horizontal directions, and the third direction D3 is a vertical direction (vertically in one example). The base 3 is made of, for example, an ABS resin. The base 3 has a side surface portion 3b and a bottom portion 3c located below the side surface portion 3b. For example, the side surface portion 3b has a cylindrical shape. The bottom portion 3c has a circular shape in plan view.
[0027] The cosmetic container 1 has a second hinge 5 that attachably and detachably attaches the cover 4 to the base 3 and a latching portion 6 that is operated when the cover 4 is opened. The cosmetic container 1 has a base 3 to which the cover 4 is coupled via the second hinge 5 so as to be openable and closable. The second hinge 5 is, for example, a simple hinge. The second hinge 5 is, for example, located at an end of the base 3 in the first direction D1. The second hinge 5 includes, for example, a recess 3d that is recessed in the first direction D1 at a lower portion of the side surface portion 3b of the base 3 and a convex portion 4h of the cover 4 that fits into the recess 3d.
[0028] The cover 4 is rotatable with respect to the base 3 about a convex portion 4h extending in the second direction D2. The cover 4 has a first wall portion 4j extending along the third direction D3 from the second hinge 5, and a second wall portion 4k extending along the third direction D3 at an end of the cover 4 opposite to the first wall portion 4j. The cover 4 opens when the second wall portion 4k moves upward about the second hinge 5, and closes when the second wall portion 4k moves downward about the second hinge 5. The second hinge 5 will be described in detail later.
[0029] The base 3 has a recess 3f recessed from the outer peripheral surface of the side surface portion 3b. The recess 3f is, for example, a portion where the finger of the user of the cosmetic container 1 contacts. The cosmetic container 1 has a latching portion 6 for latching the closed cover 4 to the base 3. The latching portion 6 is located, for example, at an end of the cosmetic container 1 opposite to the second hinge 5 in the first direction D1.
[0030] The latching portion 6 has a first recess 3g recessed in the first direction D1 from the upper end of the recess 3f of the base 3, a first convex portion 3h protruding in the first direction D1 from the upper end of the first recess 3g, a second recess 4m recessed in the first direction D1 from the lower portion of the inner surface 4d of the cover 4, and a second convex portion 4p protruding in the first direction D1 from the lower end of the second recess 4m. When the cover 4 is closed, the second convex portion 4p fits into the first recess 3g, and the first convex portion 3h fits into the second recess 4m.
[0031] When the cover 4 is closed, by applying a finger to the recess 3f and raising the second wall portion 4k of the cover 4, the second recess 4m moves upward from the first convex portion 3h, and the second convex portion 4p moves upward from the first recess 3g. When the second wall portion 4k moves upward with respect to the base 3 about the second hinge 5, the base 3 is opened.
[0032] When the cover 4 is open, it is possible to close the cover 4 by pressing the cover 4 downward with a finger and moving the second wall portion 4k toward the base 3 about the second hinge 5. At this time, as the cover 4 moves toward the base 3, the second convex portion 4p enters the first concave portion 3g and the first convex portion 3h enters the second concave portion 4m.
[0033] Next, the refill container 10 will be described. FIG. 3 is an exploded perspective view of the refill container 10 and the holding member 2. As shown in FIGS. 2(a), 2(b) and 3, the refill container 10 includes a cup 12, a lid 13, a ring member 14, and a packing 15. The refill container 10 is detachable from the holding member 2. For example, in an actual sales form, only the cup 12 is sold, and the user may purchase and replace only the cup 12.
[0034] The refill container 10 is a replaceable part with respect to the holding member 2 of the cosmetic container 1. The refill container 10 can be removed from the holding member 2, for example, after the cosmetic contained in the impregnating body is used up. A new refill container 10 can be attached to the holding member 2.
[0035] The cup 12 is made of, for example, PP (polypropylene). The cup 12 has a housing portion 12b for housing the impregnating body 11. The housing portion 12b has, for example, a bottomed cylindrical shape (a bottomed cylindrical shape as an example). The housing portion 12b has an opening 12c into which the impregnating body 11 enters. The housing portion 12b houses the impregnating body 11 that has entered through the opening 12c.
[0036] The housing portion 12b has an inner portion 12d and a bottom surface portion 12f that extends in both the first direction D1 and the second direction D2 at the lower part of the inner portion 12d. The inner portion 12d has an inner peripheral surface 12g that faces the impregnated body 11. For example, the shape of the bottom surface portion 12f in plan view is circular. The bottom surface portion 12f has an inner surface 12h that faces the impregnated body 11 and an outer surface 12j that faces the opposite side of the inner surface 12h. For example, a concave portion 12k that is recessed upward and protrudes upward at the inner surface 12h is formed on the outer surface 12j. As an example, the concave portion 12k is formed at the center of the outer surface 12j in bottom view.
[0037] The cup 12 is disposed on the base 3. The base 3 has an inner cylindrical portion 3j into which the cup 12 fits inside the side surface portion 3b in plan view. The inner cylindrical portion 3j is provided inside the side surface portion 3b in plan view. The inner cylindrical portion 3j has, for example, a cylindrical shape. The cup 12 is disposed on the base 3 by fitting inside the inner cylindrical portion 3j. The base 3 and the cup 12 will be described in detail later.
[0038] The lid 13 is made of, for example, ABS resin, and the ring member 14 is made of PP. The ring member 14 suppresses the impregnated body 11 from coming out of the housing portion 12b by closing a part of the opening 12c of the cup 12. The lid 13 is pivotally coupled to the ring member 14 via a first hinge 16 so as to be openable and closable. The first hinge 16 is, for example, a simple hinge. For example, the first hinge 16 is located at the end in the second direction D2. The lid 13 seals the housing portion 12b when closed. The packing 15 is disposed between the cup 12 and the ring member 14.
[0039] Next, each component of the refill container 10 will be described in more detail. FIG. 4(a) is a perspective view showing the packing 15. FIG. 4(b) is a partial cross-sectional view of the packing 15. FIG. 5 is an enlarged cross-sectional view of the packing 15. As shown in FIGS. 4(a), 4(b), and 5, the packing 15 has an annular shape (circular annular shape as an example).
[0040] The packing 15 is a rubber packing made of an elastic material. The packing 15 is made of, for example, NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber). Also, the material of the packing 15 may be butyl rubber. The packing 15 is interposed between the cup 12 and the ring member 14 below the lid 13 to ensure the airtightness of the refill container 10.
[0041] The packing 15 has a top surface 15b that is annular, an inner surface 15c that extends downward from the inner end of the top surface 15b in plan view, and an outer surface 15d that extends downward from the outer end of the top surface 15b in plan view. For example, the top surface 15b and the inner surface 15c are flat. The boundary between the top surface 15b and the inner surface 15c is rounded.
[0042] The outer surface 15d has, for example, a first flat portion 15f that extends downward from the boundary with the top surface 15b, an inclined portion 15g that extends obliquely downward and radially outward of the packing 15 from the lower end of the first flat portion 15f, and a second flat portion 15h that extends downward from the lower end of the inclined portion 15g. For example, the boundary between the top surface 15b and the outer surface 15d is rounded. The first flat portion 15f of the outer surface 15d has a recess 15j that is recessed radially inward of the packing 15.
[0043] The packing 15 has a facing surface 15k that faces the cup 12. The facing surface 15k includes a first facing surface 15m that faces the top surface 12m of the cup 12 and a second facing surface 15p that faces the outer portion 12p of the cup 12. The first facing surface 15m is a surface directed downward, and the second facing surface 15p is a surface directed radially inward of the packing 15.
[0044] The packing 15 has a protrusion 15q that protrudes from the first opposing surface 15m and abuts against the cup 12. For example, in a cross section of the packing 15 taken along a plane perpendicular to the extension direction (circumferential direction) of the packing 15, the protrusion 15q has a V-shape. The top of the protrusion 15q is, for example, rounded. As described above, the packing 15 is made of an elastic material, and therefore, when the packing 15 is sandwiched between the ring member 14 and the cup 12, the protrusion 15q is flattened. The protrusion 15q may be provided around the entire circumference of the packing 15, or may be provided on the top surface 15b of the packing 15 that faces the ring member 14.
[0045] The second opposing surface 15p extends, for example, diagonally downward and radially outward from the first opposing surface 15m. The second opposing surface 15p has a protrusion 15r that protrudes radially inward of the packing 15. The protrusion 15r abuts against the outer portion 12p of the cup 12. This ensures airtightness between the outer portion 12p and the packing 15. Furthermore, because the protrusion 15r is the abutment portion of the packing 15 against the cup 12, frictional force is generated at the abutment portion, allowing the cup 12 to follow the ring member 14.
[0046] FIG. 6 is a perspective view showing the cup 12. As shown in FIGS. 2(a), 2(b), and 6, the cup 12 has a top surface 12m on which the packing 15 is placed. The top surface 12m is flat. The cup 12 has protrusions 12q protruding from the inner peripheral surface 12g. The cup 12 forms a gap between the inner peripheral surface 12g and the outer peripheral surface of the impregnated body 11 by the multiple protrusions 12q protruding from the inner peripheral surface 12g.
[0047] The multiple protrusions 12q are arranged along the circumferential direction of the cup 12 in a plan view. The number of protrusions 12q is, for example, 3 or more and 30 or less. The protrusions 12q extend along the third direction D3. For example, the multiple protrusions 12q are arranged at equal intervals along the circumferential direction of the cup 12. For example, the surface of each protrusion 12q protruding from the inner circumferential surface 12g has an arc shape in a plan view. For example, the upper end of each protrusion 12q is curved to have an inverted U shape.
[0048] Since the cup 12 has the convex portions 12q described above, a gap is formed between the outer peripheral surface of the impregnated body 11 and the inner peripheral surface 12g in a state where the outer peripheral surface of the impregnated body 11 is in contact with each of the plurality of convex portions 12q. Therefore, even if the impregnated body 11 expands, it is possible to suppress the loss of the cushioning property of the impregnated body 11. And, by the outer peripheral surface of the impregnated body 11 coming into contact with the convex portions 12q, it is possible to suppress the impregnated body 11 from moving to a deviated position in the accommodating portion 12b. Therefore, it is possible to suppress the impregnated body 11 from shifting from the position of the nozzle for filling the cosmetic, so that the cosmetic can be uniformly filled into the impregnated body 11.
[0049] The cup 12 has an inner side portion 12d, an outer side portion 12p located outside the inner side portion 12d in a bottom view, and a recess 12r formed between the inner side portion 12d and the outer side portion 12p. For example, the thickness (length in the third direction D3) of the top surface 12m in the recess 12r is 4 mm or more and 5 mm or less (5 mm as an example). The thickness of this top surface 12m can be appropriately changed according to the thickness of the packing 15. The outer side portion 12p has, for example, an inclined portion 12t extending obliquely downward from the top surface 12m in the radially outward direction, and an extending portion 12v extending downward from the lower end of the inclined portion 12t.
[0050] The cup 12 has ribs 12s protruding from the outer peripheral surface of the inner side portion 12d. The ribs 12s extend, for example, in the third direction D3 which is the axial direction of the cup 12. The ribs 12s are provided to suppress rotation with respect to the base 3. The cup 12 is restricted from rotating with respect to the base 3 about the axis L of the cup 12 by the ribs 12s coming into contact with the base 3 in a state where the cup 12 is accommodated in the base 3. For example, the cup 12 has a plurality of ribs 12s, and the plurality of ribs 12s are arranged along the circumferential direction of the cup 12. The number of the ribs 12s is, for example, 6.
[0051] FIG. 7 is a perspective view showing the ring member 14. FIG. 8 is a cross-sectional perspective view showing the ring member 14. As shown in FIGS. 2(a), 2(b), 7, and 8, the ring member 14 is annular. The ring member 14 has a cylindrical portion 14b that protrudes downward. The cylindrical portion 14b has, for example, a recess 14d that is recessed upward at a lower end 14c of the cylindrical portion 14b. For example, the axis of the cylindrical portion 14b coincides with the axis L of the cup 12 described above. The ring member 14 is attached to and detached from the base 3 and the cup 12 by rotating relative to the base 3 and the cup 12 about the axis L of the cylindrical portion 14b.
[0052] The recess 14d is provided for removing the cup 12 from the ring member 14 when the cup 12 follows the ring member 14 when the ring member 14 is removed from the base 3. The cylindrical portion 14b has, for example, two recesses 14d, which are aligned along the radial direction of the ring member 14.
[0053] The cylindrical portion 14b has a first screw portion 14g formed on its outer surface 14f. The first screw portion 14g is configured, for example, with a plurality of protrusions 14x protruding from the outer surface 14f. The protrusions 14x extend obliquely upward from one side to the other in the circumferential direction of the ring member 14. The first screw portion 14g will be described in detail later.
[0054] The ring member 14 has a first annular protrusion 14h that protrudes upward and a second annular protrusion 14j that is located outside the first annular protrusion 14h in a plan view. In a cross section of the ring member 14 taken along a plane perpendicular to the extension direction (circumferential direction) of the ring member 14, the first annular protrusion 14h has an inverted U-shape, and the second annular protrusion 14j has a rod-like shape that extends upward.
[0055] The first annular protrusion 14h has an upwardly recessed portion 14k therein, and the recessed portion 14k accommodates the packing 15. The recessed portion 14k is defined by a first surface 14q facing inward in the radial direction of the ring member 14, a second surface 14p facing downward, and a third surface 14m facing outward in the radial direction of the ring member 14.
[0056] The ring member 14 has a convex portion 14r formed on the second surface 14p and a convex portion 14s formed on the third surface 14m. The convex portion 14r extends along the circumferential direction of the ring member 14. The convex portion 14s extends in the third direction D3. The ring member 14 has a plurality of convex portions 14s, and the plurality of convex portions 14s are arranged along the circumferential direction of the ring member 14.
[0057] The convex portion 14r and the convex portion 14s enter into the packing 15 housed in the concave portion 14k. Thereby, the airtightness by the packing 15 can be further enhanced. The second annular convex portion 14j has a cylindrical shape outside the first annular convex portion 14h in a plan view. For example, the height of the first annular convex portion 14h above is higher than the height of the second annular convex portion 14j above.
[0058] The ring member 14 has a flange portion 14t protruding radially outward of the ring member 14. The flange portion 14t protrudes radially outward of the ring member 14 from the upper end of the outer surface 14f of the ring member 14. The lower surface of the lid 13 faces the flange portion 14t. For example, the ring member 14 has a plurality of flange portions 14t, and the plurality of flange portions 14t are arranged along the circumferential direction of the ring member 14.
[0059] The first hinge 16 is composed of a shaft holding portion 14v provided on the ring member 14 and a rod-shaped shaft portion 13b provided on the lid 13 and rotatably held by the shaft holding portion 14v. The shaft holding portion 14v protrudes radially outward of the ring member 14 from the outer surface 14f of the ring member 14. The shaft holding portion 14v has a concave portion 14w into which the shaft portion 13b enters. The concave portion 14w opens radially outward of the ring member 14. The shaft portion 13b enters into the concave portion 14w by press-fitting, and is rotatable with respect to the ring member 14 while being in the concave portion 14w. Thereby, the lid 13 can be opened and closed with respect to the ring member 14.
[0060] FIG. 9(a) is a perspective view showing the lid 13 as seen from above. FIG. 9(b) is a perspective view showing the lid 13 as seen from below. As shown in FIGS. 2(a), 2(b), 9(a) and 9(b), the lid 13 has, for example, a disc shape. The lid 13 has a first surface 13c facing upward, a second surface 13d facing the side opposite to the first surface 13c, and a wall portion 13f protruding from the first surface 13c and the second surface 13d along a third direction D3.
[0061] For example, the wall portion 13f has a cylindrical shape (e.g., a circular cylindrical shape). The lid 13 has a shaft connecting portion 13g that protrudes from the wall portion 13f to the outside of the lid 13 in plan view and connects the shaft portion 13b to the wall portion 13f. The lid 13 has two shaft connecting portions 13g arranged along the circumferential direction of the lid 13, and one end and the other end of the shaft portion 13b are respectively connected to each of the two shaft connecting portions 13g.
[0062] The lid 13 has a protruding portion 13h that protrudes radially outward of the lid 13 from the upper end of the wall portion 13f. In plan view, the protruding portion 13h protrudes from the wall portion 13f in a curved shape (e.g., an arc shape). The protruding portion 13h is formed at an end portion on the side opposite to the shaft portion 13b in plan view. By pushing up this protruding portion 13h with a finger or the like, the lid 13 can be opened more easily.
[0063] The lid 13 rotates with respect to the base 3 and the cup 12 together with the ring member 14. When the lid 13 rotates with respect to the base 3 and the cup 12 together with the ring member 14, the lid 13 and the ring member 14 are attached to and detached from the base 3 and the cup 12. The lid 13 has a convex portion 13j that protrudes radially outward of the lid 13 from the outer peripheral surface of the wall portion 13f. The convex portion 13j extends in the third direction D3.
[0064] The lid 13 has a plurality of convex portions 13j, and the plurality of convex portions 13j are arranged along the circumferential direction of the lid 13. The convex portion 13j is a portion where a finger is applied when rotating the lid 13 with respect to the base 3 and the cup 12, and is provided to suppress the slipping of the finger with respect to the wall portion 13f. By applying a finger to the convex portion 13j and rotating the lid 13, the slipping of the finger with respect to the wall portion 13f can be suppressed, so that the lid 13 can be easily rotated.
[0065] For example, the length (height) of the lid 13 (wall portion 13f) in the third direction D3 varies depending on the circumferential position of the lid 13. The length of the lid 13 in the third direction D3 is, for example, 7 mm or more and 12.5 mm or less. In this case, the height of the lid 13 can be set to a height at which it is easy to turn the lid 13 with a finger.
[0066] For example, the lid 13 has a mark 13k formed on the first surface 13c. The mark 13k is formed at the peripheral edge of the lid 13 (a position close to the wall portion 13f) in a plan view. The mark 13k indicates the circumferential positions of the lid 13 and the ring member 14 with respect to the cup 12 and the base 3. The mark 13k may be formed by engraving on the lid 13, may be an attached sticker, or may be formed by printing. Thus, the form of the mark 13k is not particularly limited.
[0067] For example, the mark 13k includes a first mark 13k1 for aligning the circumferential positions of the lid 13 and the ring member 14 with respect to the base 3, and a second mark 13k2 arranged along the circumferential direction of the lid 13 with the first mark 13k1. The second mark 13k2 is formed on a straight line inclined 45° from a reference line connecting the center of the lid 13 and the first mark 13k1 in a plan view. For example, in a plan view, the second mark 13k2 and the first mark 13k1 are arranged in this order clockwise. As an example, the first mark 13k1 is linear, and the second mark 13k2 is triangular.
[0068] The lid 13 has a first annular recess 13m that is recessed upward when the lid 13 is closed, and a second annular recess 13p that is recessed upward and is located outside the first annular recess 13m in a plan view when the lid 13 is closed. When the lid 13 is closed, the first annular protrusion 14h of the ring member 14 fits into the first annular recess 13m, and the second annular protrusion 14j of the ring member 14 enters the second annular recess 13p.
[0069] The lid 13 has a first annular protrusion 13q that protrudes from the second surface 13d, and a second annular protrusion 13r that protrudes from the second surface 13d and is located outside the first annular protrusion 13q in a bottom view. The first annular recess 13m is formed between the first annular protrusion 13q and the second annular protrusion 13r, and the second annular recess 13p is formed between the second annular protrusion 13r and the wall portion 13f. That is, the first annular recess 13m is defined by the first annular protrusion 13q, the second surface 13d, and the second annular protrusion 13r, and the second annular recess 13p is defined by the second annular protrusion 13r, the second surface 13d, and the wall portion 13f.
[0070] Subsequently, the cover 4 and the base 3 will be described with reference to FIGS. 10(a) and 10(b). FIG. 10(a) is a perspective view of the cover 4 viewed from below, and FIG. 10(b) is a perspective view of the base 3 viewed from above. As described above, the cover 4 has a cylindrical shape having an inner surface 4d and a bottom surface 4f.
[0071] The cover 4 has a convex portion 4h at one end in the first direction D1 and a second recess 4m at the other end in the first direction D1. The convex portion 4h has a shaft holding portion 4q at an end opposite to the outer surface 4c of the cover 4. The shaft holding portion 4q has a concave shape that is recessed radially outward of the cover 4 from a surface facing radially inward of the convex portion 4h.
[0072] The base 3 has a recess 3d located at the end of the base 3 in the first direction D1. The recess 3d extends radially inward from the outer peripheral surface 3k of the base 3 and is defined by a pair of first inner surfaces 3m arranged along the circumferential direction of the base 3 and a second inner surface 3p extending in the circumferential direction of the base 3 at the end opposite to the outer peripheral surface 3k of the pair of first inner surfaces 3m.
[0073] The recess 3d has a pair of convex portions 3q protruding from each of the first inner surfaces 3m. As an example, the convex portion 3q has a cylindrical shape. For example, the second hinge 5 is constituted by the shaft holding portion 4q of the cover 4 and the pair of convex portions 3q of the base 3. In this case, the cover 4 is rotatably attached to the base 3 by the pair of convex portions 3q entering the shaft holding portion 4q.
[0074] The base 3 is located outside the accommodating portion 12b of the cup 12 in a plan view and has a recess 3r into which the cylindrical portion 14b of the ring member 14 enters. The recess 3r is formed between the inner cylindrical portion 3j and the side surface portion 3b. More specifically, the recess 3r is defined by the outer peripheral surface 3s of the inner cylindrical portion 3j, the inner peripheral surface 3t of the side surface portion 3b, and a bottom surface 3v extending in the circumferential direction of the base 3 between the lower end of the outer peripheral surface 3s and the lower end of the inner peripheral surface 3t.
[0075] On the inner peripheral surface 3w of the inner cylindrical portion 3j, a rib 3y protruding radially inward of the base 3 is formed. The rib 3y protrudes from the inner peripheral surface 3w and extends along the third direction D3. The base 3 has a plurality of ribs 3y, and the plurality of ribs 3y are arranged along the circumferential direction of the base 3. The rib 3y is formed to suppress the rotation of the cup 12 with respect to the base 3. A rib 12s (see FIG. 6) of the cup 12 enters between two ribs 3y arranged along the circumferential direction of the base 3. Thereby, the rotation of the cup 12 with respect to the base 3 is restricted.
[0076] FIG. 11(a) is a plan view showing the base 3. FIG. 11(b) is a perspective view of the base 3 seen from above. As shown in FIGS. 11(a) and 11(b), the base 3 has an upper surface 3a1 and a mark 3a2 formed on the upper surface 3a1. The mark 3a2 is formed to indicate the rotational position (circumferential position) of the ring member 14 with respect to the base 3.
[0077] For example, the base 3 has two marks 3a2. When a straight line connecting the center O1 of the base 3 in plan view and the center of the second hinge 5 (the midpoint of the line segment connecting the pair of recesses 3d) is defined as a reference line X1, the angle formed by the straight line connecting the center of the mark 3a2 in plan view and the center O1 and the reference line X1 is 45° or 225°. Similar to the mark 13k described above, the mark 3a2 may be formed by engraving on the base 3, may be an attached seal, or may be formed by printing. Thus, the form of the mark 3a2 is not particularly limited. As an example, the mark 3a2 has a triangular shape.
[0078] The recess 3r of the base 3 has a second screw portion 3z. The second screw portion 3z is constituted by, for example, a plurality of recesses 3z1 that are recessed from the inner peripheral surface 3t defining the recess 3r. The recesses 3z1 extend obliquely downward from one side in the circumferential direction of the base 3 toward the other side.
[0079] The recess 3z1 has an opening 3z2 that is exposed upward on one side in the circumferential direction of the recess 3z1, and an extending portion 3z3 that extends obliquely downward from the opening 3z2. For example, the second screw portion 3z includes four recesses 3z1, and the four recesses 3z1 are arranged at equal intervals along the circumferential direction of the base 3. One of the four recesses 3z1 has its opening 3z2 located radially inside the second hinge 5 (recess 3d) in plan view.
[0080] FIG. 12(a) is a bottom view showing the ring member 14. FIG. 12(b) is a side view showing the ring member 14. As described above, the cylindrical portion 14b of the ring member 14 has a first screw portion 14g formed on its outer surface 14f. For example, the first screw portion 14g includes four convex portions 14x, and the four convex portions 14x are arranged at equal intervals along the circumferential direction of the ring member 14.
[0081] When a straight line connecting the center O2 of the ring member 14 in bottom view and the center of the first hinge 16 (shaft holding portion 14v) is taken as the reference line X2, the angle formed by the straight line connecting the center of each convex portion 14x in bottom view and the center O2 and the reference line X2 is 45°, 135°, 225° or 315°. Among the four convex portions 14x, on the opposite side of the convex portion 14x1 whose angle formed by the center of the convex portion 14x in bottom view and the reference line X2 is 135° in the third direction D3 (the back side of the paper surface in FIG. 12(a)), the second mark 13k2 of the lid 13 is provided. And the first mark 13k1 is provided at a position shifted 45° clockwise from the second mark 13k2 in bottom view.
[0082] As shown in FIGS. 11(a), 11(b), 12(a) and 12(b), the shape and size of the convex portion 14x in plan view are such that it can be inserted into the opening 3z2 of the second screw portion 3z. When the position of the first mark 13k1 is aligned with the position of the mark 3a2 in plan view, the convex portion 14x can be inserted into the opening 3z2 from above. At this time, the angle formed by the reference line X1 and the reference line X2 is 45° or 225°. When the convex portion 14x is inserted into the opening 3z2 and the lid 13 and the ring member 14 are rotated about the axis L (for example, rotated by 45°), the first screw portion 14g is screwed to the second screw portion 3z, and the position of the second mark 13k2 in the circumferential direction coincides with the position of the mark 3a2.
[0083] Then, the positions of the second hinge 5 and the first hinge 16 in a plan view are in the relationship shown in FIG. 13. In a state where the first screw portion 14g of the ring member 14 is screwed to the second screw portion 3z of the base 3, the first hinge 16 sandwiches a reference line X1 passing through the center O1 of the second hinge 5 and the base 3, and is located at either one of a pair of positions where the lid 13 does not contact the cover 4 when the lid 13 is opened. In the example of FIG. 13, an example is shown in which the angle formed by the reference line X2 connecting the center O2 of the ring member 14 and the center of the first hinge 16 and the reference line X1 is 90° or 270°.
[0084] For example, the base 3 has ribs 3z5 protruding radially inward of the base 3, and the ring member 14 has ribs 14z protruding radially outward of the ring member 14. As an example, the number of the ribs 3z5 and the number of the ribs 14z are 2. For example, the two ribs 3z5 are arranged along the radial direction of the base 3, and the two ribs 14z are arranged along the radial direction of the ring member 14. When the ring member 14 is screwed to the base 3, the position of the ring member 14 with respect to the base 3 is determined by the ribs 14z overcoming the ribs 3z5.
[0085] As shown in FIGS. 11(a), 12(a), and 13, in the cosmetic container 1, the base 3 has two marks 3a2, and the user of the cosmetic container 1 can select the mark 3a2 that aligns with the first mark 13k1 of the lid 13 from the two marks 3a2. As a result, it is possible to select whether the first hinge 16 is located on the right side or the left side of the reference line X1 in a plan view. Therefore, it is possible to select whether to open the lid 13 to the right or to the left with respect to the direction in which the cover 4 opens, so that the usability of the cosmetic container 1 can be improved regardless of whether the user is right-handed or left-handed.
[0086] Furthermore, when the first threaded portion 14g is screwed into the second threaded portion 3z, as shown in FIG. 5, the ring member 14 gradually moves downward and presses the packing 15 against the cup 12. That is, the lid 13 and the ring member 14 rotate with respect to the base 3 and the cup 12 about the axis L of the cylindrical portion 14b, so that the ring member 14 presses the packing 15 against the cup 12.
[0087] Next, the effects obtained from the cosmetic container 1 according to the present embodiment will be described in more detail. In the cosmetic container 1, a cup 12 having a housing portion 12b for housing a cosmetic (the impregnated body 11) is disposed on the base 3, and the ring member 14 closes a part of the opening 12c of the cup 12, thereby suppressing the leakage of the cosmetic from the housing portion 12b. An annular packing 15 is disposed between the cup 12 and the ring member 14, and the housing portion 12b is sealed when the lid 13 that can be opened and closed on the ring member 14 is closed. Therefore, since the housing portion 12b can be sealed by the lid 13 and the packing 15, airtightness with respect to the cosmetic housed in the housing portion 12b can be ensured.
[0088] As shown in FIGS. 5, 11(a), 11(b), 12(a) and 12(b), the ring member 14 has a cylindrical portion 14b protruding downward, and the base 3 has a recess 3r into which the cylindrical portion 14b fits. The cylindrical portion 14b has a first threaded portion 14g, and the recess 3r has a second threaded portion 3z on the inner peripheral surface 3t facing the cylindrical portion 14b. When the ring member 14 rotates with respect to the base 3 and the cup 12 with the cylindrical portion 14b fitted into the recess 3r, the first threaded portion 14g is screwed into the second threaded portion 3z and the annular packing 15 is pressed against the cup 12. By the lid 13 sealing the housing portion 12b and the ring member 14 pressing the annular packing 15 against the cup 12, the airtightness with respect to the cosmetic can be further enhanced. Therefore, sufficient airtightness of the cosmetic can be ensured.
[0089] As shown in FIGS. 11(a), 11(b), 12(a), 12(b), and 13, in this embodiment, when the first screw portion 14g is screwed into the second screw portion 3z, the first hinge 16 is located at either one of a pair of positions sandwiching a reference line X1 passing through the centers O1 of the second hinge 5 and the base 3 and at which the lid 13 does not contact the cover 4 when the lid 13 is opened, and either one of the pair of positions can be selected. If the first hinge 16 is located on the reference line X1, the lid 13 will open toward the front side or the back side with respect to the cover 4. Therefore, the lid 13 opened toward the front side or the back side may be obstructive. On the other hand, when the first hinge 16 is located at either one of the pair of positions sandwiching the reference line X1 as described above, the opened lid 13 can be prevented from being obstructive, so that the usability of the cosmetic container 1 can be improved.
[0090] Furthermore, when either one of the pair of positions where the first hinge 16 is located can be selected, for example, a right-handed user can position the first hinge 16 on the left side of the reference line X1, and a left-handed user can position the first hinge 16 on the right side of the reference line X1. Therefore, it contributes to further improvement in usability. And since the first hinge 16 is located at a position where the lid 13 does not contact the cover 4 when the lid 13 is opened, contact between the lid 13 and the cover 4 can be avoided, so that the usability of the cosmetic container 1 can be further improved.
[0091] As shown in FIGS. 2(a), 2(b), and 4(b), in this embodiment, the packing 15 has a facing surface 15k facing the cup 12 and a protrusion 15q protruding from the facing surface 15k and abutting against the cup 12. In this case, when the first screw portion 14g is screwed into the second screw portion 3z and the packing 15 is pressed against the cup 12, the protrusion 15q formed on the facing surface 15k of the packing 15 is crushed on the cup 12. Therefore, the airtightness of the upper part of the cup 12 can be further enhanced.
[0092] In this embodiment, the lid 13 has a first annular recess 13m that is recessed upward when the lid 13 is closed, and the ring member 14 has a first annular protrusion 14h that fits into the first annular recess 13m when the lid 13 is closed. Therefore, when the lid 13 is closed, the first annular protrusion 14h of the ring member 14 fits into the first annular recess 13m of the lid 13, so that the airtightness can be enhanced and the lid 13 can be firmly joined to the ring member 14.
[0093] In this embodiment, the lid 13 has a second annular recess 13p that is recessed upward and located outside the first annular recess 13m in a plan view when the lid 13 is closed, and the ring member 14 has a second annular protrusion 14j that enters the second annular recess 13p when the lid 13 is closed. Therefore, when the lid 13 is closed, the first annular protrusion 14h fits into the first annular recess 13m and the second annular protrusion 14j enters the second annular recess 13p. Accordingly, the airtightness can be further enhanced and the joining force of the ring member 14 to the lid 13 can be further increased.
[0094] In this embodiment, the cup 12 has a top surface 12m on which the packing 15 is placed, and the top surface 12m is flat. Therefore, when the packing 15 is pressed against the flat top surface 12m of the cup 12, the adhesion of the packing 15 to the cup 12 can be enhanced. Accordingly, the airtightness of the cup 12 can be further enhanced.
[0095] In this embodiment, the base 3 has a side surface portion 3b and a bottom portion 3c located below the side surface portion 3b. In this case, since the base 3 has the bottom portion 3c, the cup 12 can be stably accommodated and the airtightness of the base 3 can be ensured.
[0096] In this embodiment, the ring member 14 has a recess 14k in which the packing 15 is accommodated. The recess 14k is defined by a first surface 14q facing the inner side in the radial direction of the ring member 14, a second surface 14p facing downward, and a third surface 14m facing the outer side in the radial direction of the ring member 14. The ring member 14 further has a convex portion 14r formed on the second surface 14p. In this case, the airtightness can be further enhanced by the convex portion 14r formed on the second surface 14p of the recess 14k entering the packing 15 accommodated in the recess 14k.
[0097] As described above, the embodiments of the cosmetic container according to the present disclosure have been described. However, the cosmetic container according to the present disclosure is not limited to the contents of the above-described embodiments, and may be further modified within the scope of the gist described in the claims. That is, the shape, size, material, number, and arrangement mode of each part of the cosmetic container can be appropriately changed within the scope of the above gist.
[0098] For example, in the above-described embodiment, the cosmetic container 1 including the packing 15 which is a rubber packing has been described. Hereinafter, the packing 25 according to a modification will be described with reference to FIGS. 14(a) and 14(b). The packing 25 has an annular shape. The packing 25 has a flat upper surface 25b and a lower surface 25c, an inner peripheral surface 25d which is a smooth surface facing the inner side in the radial direction of the packing 25, and an outer peripheral surface 25f which is a smooth surface facing the outer side in the radial direction of the packing 25.
[0099] When the packing 25 is cut by a plane orthogonal to the extending direction (circumferential direction) of the packing 25, the cross-sectional shape of the packing 25 exhibits a horizontally long rectangular shape. For example, the packing 25 is composed of foamed polyethylene and a pair of PET (polyethylene terephthalate) sheets that sandwich the foamed polyethylene from above and below. In the case of this packing 25, the cost can be suppressed as compared with the packing 15.
[0100] For example, in the above-described embodiment, the cup 12 having the rotation-preventing rib 12s and the base 3 having the rotation-preventing rib 3y were described. However, for example, when rotating the cup 12 together with the ring member 14, the ribs 12s and 3y can be made unnecessary.
[0101] In the above-described embodiment, the lid 13 having the plurality of convex portions 13j protruding radially outward from the wall portion 13f was described. However, a lid in which concave portions are formed instead of the convex portions 13j may be used. That is, a lid having a plurality of concave portions recessed radially inward from the outer peripheral surface of the wall portion 13f may be used. Also in the case of this lid, similar to the above-described lid 13, slipping of the finger with respect to the wall portion 13f can be suppressed, and thus rotation of the lid 13 can be easily performed.
[0102] In the above-described embodiment, the ring member 14 provided with the cylindrical portion 14b having the concave portion 14d recessed upward at the lower end 14c was described. However, a ring member without the concave portion 14d may be used. For example, when the maximum value of the axial height of the cup 12 is greater than the axial height of the ring member 14, or when the cup 12 protrudes from below the ring member 14, the concave portion 14d can be made unnecessary.
[0103] In the above-described embodiment, an example in which the base 3 has the second screw portion 3z in the concave portion 3r and the ring member 14 has the first screw portion 14g screwed to the second screw portion 3z was described. The first screw portion 14g and the second screw portion 3z may be single-threaded screws. In this case, airtightness can be more easily ensured as compared with the case where the first screw portion 14g and the second screw portion 3z are multi-threaded screws having a plurality of threads.
[0104] In the above-described embodiment, an example was described in which the cylindrical portion 14b of the ring member 14 has a first screw portion 14g formed on its outer surface 14f, and the concave portion 3r of the base 3 has a second screw portion 3z on the surface facing the outer surface 14f of the cylindrical portion 14b. However, the cylindrical portion 14b may have a first screw portion formed on its inner surface, and the concave portion 3r may have a second screw portion formed on the surface facing the inner surface of the cylindrical portion 14b. Thus, the arrangement positions of the first screw portion and the second screw portion can be changed as appropriate.
[0105] In the above-described embodiment, an example was described in which the cover 4 is pivotally coupled to the base 3 via the second hinge 5 so as to be openable and closable. However, the cover may be pivotally coupled to the base as long as it can be opened and closed, and the second hinge 5 may be omitted. For example, when the second hinge 5 is omitted, the cover 4 may be separated from the base 3 and may have a configuration in which the cover 4 is screwed and coupled to the base 3. Further, unevenness may be formed on each of the cover 4 and the base 3, and the cover 4 may be coupled to the base 3 by fitting the unevenness to each other. Thus, the coupling method of the cover 4 to the base 3 is not particularly limited. Also, in the above-described embodiment, an example was described in which the first hinge 16 and the second hinge 5 are simple hinges. However, the first hinge may have a configuration of a pinned hinge instead of a simple hinge. The same applies to the second hinge.
[0106] In the above-described embodiment, an example was described in which the cup 12 has a top surface 12m on which the packing 15 is placed and the top surface 12m is flat. However, the cup 12 may have a convex portion protruding on the top surface 12m.
