Abstract

To suppress over-discharge and over-charge in a power system that would prevent energy supply and demand control by storage battery.SOLUTION: A renewable energy generator 2 is connected to a DC bus 5 via a first power converter DC / DC 1. A storage unit 3 is also connected to the DC bus 5 via a second power converter DC / DC 2. Furthermore, a hydrogen system is provided to charge and discharge the storage unit 3. The hydrogen system includes an electrolysis device EC that decomposes electricity into hydrogen, a hydrogen tank 4 that stores hydrogen, and a fuel cell FC that converts hydrogen back into electricity. The power compensator controlling the hydrogen system determines the charge / discharge amount of the hydrogen system for the next predetermined period so as to maintain the SOC of the storage battery near a target value at the start and end of the predetermined period.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
