Abstract

The present invention relates to a negative electrode material, and to electrochemical and electronic devices containing the same. The negative electrode material of the present invention comprises a silicon composite matrix, the silicon composite matrix having a Dv50 range of 2.5 μm to 15 μm, and a particle size distribution of the silicon composite matrix satisfying 0.1≦Dn10 / Dv50≦0.6. The negative electrode material of the present invention has excellent cycle characteristics, and batteries prepared from the negative electrode material have good rate characteristics and a low expansion coefficient.
