Description

[Technical field]

[0001] The present disclosure relates to a manufacturing method of a laminated coil, a laminated coil, and a coil device and a power conversion device including the laminated coil. [Background technology]

[0002] For example, power conversion devices such as DC / DC conversion devices are equipped with coil devices such as smoothing coils and transformers. Generally, coil devices are configured by winding a coil around a core. In recent years, in order to miniaturize the transformer, which is a coil device, the switching frequency of the switching elements mounted on the power conversion devices has been increased to, for example, 1 kHz or higher. This allows the cross-sectional area of the core to be reduced and the number of turns of the coil to be reduced, thereby making it possible to miniaturize the transformer.

[0003] However, when switching frequencies are increased in order to miniaturize transformers, the so-called skin effect causes the current density flowing through the coil to be high on the surface of the coil and low away from the coil surface. This causes the coil to have a problem of large conduction loss when current flows through it. To solve this problem, it is known to use a planar coil, in which a flat conductor with a large surface area is arranged in a spiral shape (for example, see Reference 1). [0004] [Patent Document 1] JP 2002-260934 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0005] Patent Document 1 describes a planar coil formed by stacking a plurality of layers of windings, each of which is a flat conductor arranged in a spiral shape, with an insulating layer between them. It also describes a planar transformer that combines a planar coil and a core. However, in a configuration in which a plurality of layers of windings are stacked with an insulating layer between them, the windings are prone to misalignment and deformation due to vibration, expansion and contraction of the windings due to heat, and the like. In a planar coil, when the windings are exposed between the insulating layers due to misalignment or deformation, the windings come into contact with the core, causing a short circuit, which causes a problem of degrading the characteristics of the planar transformer.

[0006] The present disclosure has been made in consideration of the above-mentioned problems, and aims to suppress deterioration of the characteristics of a coil device caused by contact between the coil and a core and a short circuit in a laminate coil formed by winding a flat conductor, which is a conductor having a flat plate shape, and stacking the coils in multiple layers with insulating members interposed therebetween. [Means for solving the problem]

[0007] A method for manufacturing a laminate coil according to the present disclosure is a method for manufacturing a laminate coil formed by stacking a first coil and a second coil formed of flat conductors with a first laminated insulating member, a second laminated insulating member, and a third laminated insulating member, the method including: (a) stacking the first laminated insulating member, the first coil, the second laminated insulating member, the second coil, and the third laminated insulating member in order to form a laminated body so as to include a through hole penetrating in the stacking direction inside the first coil and the second coil in a plan view; and (b) stacking the first coil and the second coil in the laminated body. The method is characterized by comprising the steps of: (a) arranging a pair of first pressurized elastic members to sandwich, in the stacking direction, the inner ends located on the through hole side, and further preparing a pair of pressing members to sandwich the pair of first pressurized elastic members; and (b) applying pressure between the pair of pressing members to bond the first laminated insulating member and the second laminated insulating member, and the second laminated insulating member and the third laminated insulating member, at the inner ends, and sealing the inner ends located on the through hole side of each of the first coil and the second coil.

[0008] The laminate coil of the present disclosure comprises a plurality of coils formed from flat conductors and a plurality of laminated insulating members, stacked so that each of the plurality of coils is sandwiched between each of the plurality of laminated insulating members, and formed so as to include a through hole penetrating in the stacking direction inside the plurality of coils when viewed in a plane, characterized in that each of the plurality of laminated insulating members adjacent in the stacking direction is bonded to each other at its inner end portion located on the through hole side, and the inner end portion of each of the plurality of coils located on the through hole side is sealed. Effect of the Invention

[0009] A coil device including a laminated coil according to the present disclosure can suppress deterioration of the characteristics of the coil device caused by a short circuit between the coil and the core. [Brief description of the drawings]

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0011] Embodiment 1 FIG. 1 is a circuit diagram showing a configuration of a power conversion device 1 according to each embodiment. Here, the power conversion device 1 is shown as a DC / DC conversion device as an example. However, the power conversion device 1 may be a device that converts AC voltage, such as an AC / DC conversion device or an AC / AC conversion device. As shown in FIG. 1, the power conversion device 1 includes an inverter circuit 2, a transformer circuit 3, a rectifier circuit 4, a smoothing circuit 5, and a control circuit 6. The power conversion device 1 converts a DC voltage Vi inputted from an input terminal 110 into a DC voltage Vo, and outputs the DC voltage Vo at an output terminal 111.

[0012] The inverter circuit 2 includes four switching elements 7a, 7b, 7c, and 7d. For example, in FIG. 1, a series connection of the switching element 7a and the switching element 7c and a series connection of the switching element 7b and the switching element 7d are connected in parallel. Here, each of the switching elements 7a, 7b, 7c, and 7d is a MOSFET (Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field Effect Transistor) or an IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor), etc. Each of the switching elements 7a, 7b, 7c, and 7d is made of, for example, silicon (Si), silicon carbide (SiC), or gallium nitride (GaN).

[0013] The transformer circuit 3 includes a coil device 101 as a transformer. The coil device 101 includes a laminate coil 30. The laminate coil 30 is composed of, for example, a plurality of sheet-shaped or film-shaped laminated insulating members 32, a first coil 20, a second coil 21, and a third coil 22. Here, for example, the third coil 22 is connected in parallel with the first coil 20. The first coil 20 and the third coil 22 are primary coils connected to the inverter circuit 2, that is, high-voltage coils. The second coil 21 is a secondary coil connected to the rectifier circuit 4, that is, a low-voltage coil. The configuration of the coil device 101 is not limited to this.

[0014] The rectifier circuit 4 includes four diodes 8a, 8b, 8c, and 8d. For example, in Fig. 1, a series connection of the diodes 8a and 8c and a series connection of the diodes 8b and 8d are connected in parallel. Each of the diodes 8a, 8b, 8c, and 8d is made of, for example, silicon (Si), silicon carbide (SiC), or gallium nitride (GaN).

[0015] The smoothing circuit 5 includes a coil device 102 as a smoothing coil and a capacitor 9a. The control circuit 6 has a role of outputting a control signal for controlling the inverter circuit 2 to the inverter circuit 2. The inverter circuit 2 converts the input voltage and outputs it.

[0016] The power conversion device 1 includes, for example, a coil device 103 as a smoothing coil and a capacitor 9b in the front stage of the inverter circuit 2. The power conversion device 1 includes, for example, a coil device 104 as a resonant coil between the inverter circuit 2 and the transformer circuit 3. More specifically, one end of the coil device 104 is connected between the switching element 7a and the switching element 7c. The other end of the coil device 104 is connected between the first coil 20 and the third coil 22 that are connected in parallel.

[0017] To the power conversion device 1, for example, a DC voltage Vi of 100V or more and 600V or less is input. The power conversion device 1 outputs a DC voltage Vo of 12V or more and 600V or less. Specifically, the DC voltage Vi input to the input terminal 110 of the power conversion device 1 is converted to a first AC voltage by the inverter circuit 2. The first AC voltage is converted to a second AC voltage lower than the first AC voltage by the transformer circuit 3. The second AC voltage is rectified by the rectifier circuit 4. The smoothing circuit 5 smoothes the voltage output from the rectifier circuit 4. The power conversion device 1 outputs the DC voltage Vo output from the smoothing circuit 5 from the output terminal 111. Here, the DC voltage Vi may be equal to or greater than the DC voltage Vo.

[0018] Next, the configurations of the coil device 101 provided in the power converter and the laminate coil 30 provided in the coil device 101 in the first embodiment will be described with reference to Figs.

[0019] 2 to 5, the coil device 101 in the first embodiment will be described. The coil device 101 includes a laminated coil 30, a core 10, a convex member 42, and a fixing member 52. These are mounted on the surface of a support 40, for example. As shown in FIG. 4, the laminated coil 30 is sandwiched between the convex member 42 and the fixing member 52, and is fixed to the convex member 42 using, for example, a screw 90. By disposing a heat transfer member 43 between the laminated coil 30 and the convex member 42, heat from the laminated coil 30 is easily dissipated to the support 40.

[0020] Here, the support 40 preferably has a thermal conductivity of 0.1 W / (m·K) or more. The support 40 is also preferably made of a highly rigid material. Specifically, the support 40 is made of any metal material selected from copper (Cu), aluminum (Al), iron (Fe), iron alloys such as SUS304, copper alloys such as phosphor bronze, and aluminum alloys such as ADC12.

[0021] Alternatively, the support 40 may be formed of a resin material containing a thermally conductive filler. Here, the resin material is, for example, any one selected from polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), polyphenylene sulfide (PPS), and polyether ether ketone (PEEK). When the convex member 42 is integral with the support 40, the convex member 42 is made of the same material as the support 40. When the convex member 42 is separate from the support 40, the convex member 42 may be made of the same material as the support 40, or may be made of a different material than the support 40.

[0022] The core 10 includes, for example, an upper core 10A and a lower core 10B having a wound portion 10E, and a gap 10C is provided in a portion between the upper core 10A and the lower core 10B. The coil device 101 is provided with a laminated coil 30 so as to penetrate the gap 10C provided between the upper core 10A and the lower core 10B. As shown in FIG. 2, a plurality of cores 10 are provided at intervals in the X direction, which is the long side direction of the laminated coil 30. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and the coil device 101 may be composed of a single core 10. Here, the core 10 is formed, for example, of a manganese zinc (Mn-Zn) ferrite core or a nickel zinc (Ni-Zn) ferrite core. Alternatively, it may be, for example, a so-called amorphous core or a so-called iron dust core. The amorphous core is formed of an iron-based amorphous alloy. The iron dust core is formed by compressing and molding iron powder.

[0023] Next, the laminate coil 30 provided in the coil device 101 of the first embodiment will be described with reference to Figs. 6 and 7. The laminate coil 30 includes a first coil 20, a second coil 21, and a third coil 22 formed by winding a flat conductor, which is a conductor having a flat plate shape, and a plurality of laminate insulating members 32, such as a first laminate insulating member 32A, a second laminate insulating member 32B, a third laminate insulating member 32C, and a fourth laminate insulating member 32D, which are sheet-shaped or film-shaped. Here, the number of coils and the number of laminate insulating members 32 included in the laminate coil 30 are not limited to this.

[0024] As shown in Fig. 6, the laminate coil 30 has a shape with a relatively large surface area in plan view from the Z direction. In other words, the laminate coil 30 has a roughly rectangular plate shape that spreads along the XY plane and is composed of multiple straight line parts and multiple corner parts. However, the shape is not limited to a rectangle, and may be, for example, an elliptical or circular plate shape that spreads on the XY plane. Furthermore, the laminate coil 30 has a shape that includes through holes 35 that penetrate the stacked coils and the stacked insulating members 32 in the Z direction, which is the stacking direction, inside the coil in plan view.

[0025] 7, the laminate coil 30 has a layered structure in which a first laminated insulating member 32A, a first coil 20, a second laminated insulating member 32B, a second coil 21, a third laminated insulating member 32C, a third coil 22, and a fourth laminated insulating member 32D are layered in the Z direction, which is the stacking direction, in this order. In other words, the laminated coil 30 has a layered structure formed by arranging each of the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22 so as to be sandwiched between each of the multiple laminated insulating members 32 and layering them in the Z direction.

[0026] At the inner end 55 of the laminate coil 30, adjacent laminate insulating members 32 are bonded to each other in the Z direction, which is the stacking direction. Specifically, at the inner end 55 of the laminate coil 30, the first laminate insulating member 32A and the second laminate insulating member 32B are bonded. The second laminate insulating member 32B and the third laminate insulating member 32C are bonded. The third laminate insulating member 32C and the fourth laminate insulating member 32D are bonded. Here, the inner end 55 of the laminate coil 30 is the end located on the through hole 35 side in the laminate coil 30 in a plan view.

[0027] As a result, the inner end 26 of each of the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22 is sealed by the multiple laminated insulating members 32. In other words, the inner end 26 of each of the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22 is sealed by the multiple laminated insulating members 32. Here, the inner end 26 of each of the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22 refers to the end located on the through hole 35 side of each of the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22 in a plan view.

[0028] Furthermore, at the outer end 56 of the laminate coil 30, the outer ends 27 of the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22 are covered with an insulating sealing member 33 such as insulating tape. Furthermore, the outer ends 27 of the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22 may be sealed with the insulating sealing member 33. The insulating sealing member 33 is not limited to insulating tape.

[0029] Here, the outer end 56 of the laminated coil 30 is an end located in the opposite direction to the inner end 55 on the through hole 35 side of the laminated coil 30 in a plan view. Also, the outer end 27 of the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22 is an end located in the opposite direction to the inner end 26 on the through hole 35 side of the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22 in a plan view.

[0030] Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 7, for example, an inter-conductor insulating member 34 may be disposed between the first turn 20C and the second turn 20D of the first coil 20. This can prevent the first turn 20C and the second turn 20D from being short-circuited. Also, for example, an inter-conductor insulating member 34 may be disposed between the first turn 21C and the second turn 21D of the second coil 21. This can prevent the first turn 21C and the second turn 21D from being short-circuited. Also, for example, an inter-conductor insulating member 34 may be disposed between the first turn 22C and the second turn 22D of the third coil 22. This can prevent the first turn 22C and the second turn 22D from being short-circuited. On the other hand, as in the laminate coil 30 shown in FIG. 5, the inter-conductor insulating member 34 may not be disposed.

[0031] Here, the inter-conductor insulating member 34 is formed of a material having electrical insulation properties. The inter-conductor insulating member 34 may also be adhered to the laminated insulating member 32 by an adhesive such as a pressure sensitive adhesive or a bonding agent. The inter-conductor insulating member 34 may be formed of a material containing any one of glass fiber reinforced epoxy resin, phenolic resin, polyphenylene sulfide (PPS), and polyether ether ketone, for example. Alternatively, the inter-conductor insulating member 34 may be formed of a material containing any one of polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polyimide (PI), and aramid (fully aromatic polyamide) fibers.

[0032] Alternatively, inter-conductor insulating member 34 may be formed of a ceramic material such as aluminum oxide (Al2O3) or aluminum nitride (AlN). Furthermore, if high rigidity is not required, inter-conductor insulating member 34 may be formed of a silicone rubber sheet or a urethane rubber sheet. Alternatively, inter-conductor insulating member 34 may be formed of silicone gel, silicone grease, or a silicone adhesive. Inter-conductor insulating member 34 may be in the form of a sheet or film.

[0033] Thus far, the laminate coil 30 in which the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22 are laminated has been described as an example in which the number of coil layers is odd. However, the number of coil layers may be even. FIG. 8 shows a laminate coil 30A in which the first coil 20 and the second coil 21 are laminated as an example in which the number of coil layers is even. The laminate coil 30A has a laminated structure in which the first laminated insulating member 32A, the first coil 20, the second laminated insulating member 32B, the second coil 21, and the third laminated insulating member 32C are laminated in this order in the Z direction.

[0034] When the number of layers in the coil is an even number, the number of layers in the laminated insulating member 32 is an odd number. Therefore, at the inner end 55 of the laminated coil 30A, the first laminated insulating member 32A and the third laminated insulating member 32C are bonded to the second laminated insulating member 32B located at the center in the Z direction, which is the stacking direction of the coil, so that the other laminated insulating members 32 are gathered to the second laminated insulating member 32B located at the center. In addition, the laminated insulating member 32 located at the center in the Z direction of the coil is bonded at the corner of the inner end 26 of the first coil 20 or the second coil 21 without being folded. Here, a description of the coil device 101A including the laminated coil 30A is omitted.

[0035] The laminated insulating member 32 included in the laminated coil 30 or the laminated coil 30A is formed of a material having electrical insulation properties. For example, it is formed of a material containing either polyethylene terephthalate (PET) or polyimide (PI), or aramid (fully aromatic polyamide) fiber. Alternatively, the laminated insulating member 32 may be formed of a material containing either glass fiber reinforced epoxy resin, phenolic resin, polyphenylene sulfide (PPS), or polyether ether ketone. Furthermore, the laminated insulating member 32 may be formed of a ceramic material such as aluminum oxide (Al2O3) or aluminum nitride (AlN).

[0036] As another feature, the laminated insulating member 32 has an adhesive such as a pressure sensitive adhesive or a bonding agent on any surface. The adhesive is used to bond adjacent laminated insulating members 32. The laminated insulating member 32 may also be bonded to the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22. Specifically, the laminated insulating members 32 have an adhesive applied to at least the surfaces facing the first coil, the second coil, and the third coil. For example, a heat curing adhesive that is cured by applying heat may be used as the adhesive. Here, an epoxy, silicone, or acrylic material is used as the adhesive.

[0037] Next, the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22 included in the laminate coil 30 will be described with reference to FIG. 9 to FIG. 11. Each of the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22 is made of a flat conductor formed by punching a flat conductor, for example, and has a shape in which the flat conductor is wound. Also, it has a roughly rectangular flat shape that spreads along the XY plane and consists of a plurality of straight lines and a plurality of corners. However, it is not limited to a rectangle, and may be, for example, an elliptical or circular flat shape that spreads on the XY plane. The number of turns may be one or more. In the present disclosure, the case where the number of turns is more than one will be described. Here, the thickness of each of the flat conductors of the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22 may be the same or different. In other words, the laminated coil 30 may include a first thick coil formed from a flat conductor having a first thickness and a second thick coil formed from a flat conductor having a second thickness, where the thickness of the flat conductor is the thickness of the flat conductor in the Z direction, which is the direction perpendicular to the XY plane.

[0038] Furthermore, the widths of the flat conductors of the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22 may be the same or different. In other words, the laminated coil 30 may include a first width coil formed from a flat conductor having a first width, and a second width coil formed from a flat conductor having a second width. Here, the width of the flat conductor is the width of the flat conductor in the direction perpendicular to the winding direction in the XY plane.

[0039] FIG. 9 shows a schematic plan view of the first coil 20 included in the laminate coil 30 as viewed from the Z direction. In the plan view, the first coil 20 has a connection part 20A provided at one end in the winding direction of the first coil 20 at the outer periphery of the first coil 20 so as to be connectable to the inverter circuit 2. In addition, in the plan view, the first coil 20 has a connection part 20B provided at the other end in the winding direction of the first coil 20 at the inner periphery of the first coil 20 so as to be connectable to the inverter circuit 2. The first coil 20 is wound clockwise twice from the connection part 20A at one end to the connection part 20B at the other end so as to provide an opening on the inside. Here, the flat conductor at the outer periphery is the first turn 20C, and the flat conductor at the inner side is the second turn 20D. The connection parts 20A and 20B are, for example, holes provided in the flat conductor.

[0040] FIG. 10 shows a schematic plan view of the second coil 21 included in the laminate coil 30 as viewed from the Z direction. In the plan view, the second coil 21 has a connection part 21A provided at one end in the winding direction of the second coil 21 at the outer periphery of the second coil 21 so as to be connectable to the rectifier circuit 4. In addition, in the plan view, the second coil 21 has a connection part 21B provided at the other end in the winding direction of the second coil 21 at the inner periphery of the second coil 21 so as to be connectable to the rectifier circuit 4. The second coil 21 is wound clockwise twice from the connection part 21A at one end to the connection part 21B at the other end so as to provide an opening on the inside. Here, the flat conductor at the outer periphery is the first turn 21C, and the flat conductor at the inner side is the second turn 21D. The connection part 21A and the connection part 21B are, for example, holes provided in the flat conductor.

[0041] FIG. 11 shows a schematic plan view of the third coil 22 included in the laminate coil 30 as viewed from the Z direction. In the plan view, the third coil 22 has a connection portion 22A provided at one end in the winding direction of the third coil 22 at the outer periphery thereof so as to be connectable to the inverter circuit 2. In addition, in the plan view, the third coil 22 has a connection portion 22B provided at the other end in the winding direction of the third coil 22 at the inner periphery thereof so as to be connectable to the inverter circuit 2. The third coil 22 is wound clockwise twice from the connection portion 22A at one end to the connection portion 22B at the other end, so as to provide an opening on the inside. Here, the flat conductor at the outer periphery is the first turn 22C, and the flat conductor at the inner periphery is the second turn 22D. The connection portion 22A and the connection portion 22B are, for example, holes provided in the flat conductor.

[0042] As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, in the power conversion device 1, the connection portion 20A of the first coil 20 and the connection portion 22A of the third coil 22 are connected to the connection terminal 23A. Furthermore, the connection portion 20B of the first coil 20 and the connection portion 22B of the third coil 22 are connected to the connection terminal 23B. As a result, the first coil 20 and the third coil 22, which are the primary side coils, are connected in parallel to the inverter circuit 2. Furthermore, the connection portion 21A of the second coil 21 is connected to the connection terminal 24A. Furthermore, the connection portion 21B of the second coil 21 is connected to the connection terminal 24B. As a result, the second coil 21, which is the secondary side coil, is connected to the rectifier circuit 4.

[0043] Here, the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22 included in the laminate coil 30 are formed using flat conductors. The thickness of the flat conductor in the Z direction is, for example, 0.1 mm or more and 5.0 mm or less. More preferably, it is 0.5 mm or more and 2.0 mm or less. The thickness of the flat conductor used in each of the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22 may be changed depending on the current to be passed. Also, the width of the flat conductor of each of the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22 may be changed depending on the number of turns of the coil or the amount of current to be passed. Here, the flat conductor is formed from a material containing, for example, copper or aluminum.

[0044] Also, for example, the deformed coil 25 shown in Fig. 12 may be used instead of the first coil 20. The deformed coil 25 differs from the first coil 20 in that the inner corners of the flat conductor at the inner end 26 on the through hole side are rounded, for example, arc-shaped, in plan view from the Z direction. Here, as an example, the first coil 20 is replaced with the deformed coil 25, but the second coil 21 and the third coil 22 may also use a coil similar to the deformed coil 25. This allows each of the multiple laminated insulating members 32 to be bonded to one another at the inner corners of the flat conductor at the inner end 26 of the coil without damage or gaps.

[0045] The effects of the laminate coil 30 and the coil device 101 in the first embodiment will be described. The laminate coil 30 includes a first laminated insulating member 32A, a first coil 20, a second laminated insulating member 32B, a second coil 21, a third laminated insulating member 32C, a third coil 22, and a fourth laminated insulating member 32C. Lamination The laminated coil 30 has a laminated structure in which the insulating members 32A, 32B, and 32C are stacked in the Z direction, which is the stacking direction, in the order of the insulating members 32A, 32B, and 32C. In other words, the laminated coil 30 has a laminated structure formed by stacking the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22 in the Z direction so as to be sandwiched between the multiple laminated insulating members 32.

[0046] At the inner end 55 of the laminate coil 30 in plan view, the multiple laminated insulating members 32 adjacent to each other in the Z direction are bonded to each other. That is, the inner end 26 of each of the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22 in plan view is sealed by the multiple laminated insulating members 32. In other words, the inner end 26 of each of the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22 is sealed by the multiple laminated insulating members 32. This makes it possible to prevent the coil from being exposed between the laminated insulating members 32 due to displacement of the coil caused by vibration, expansion or contraction of the coil due to heat, or deformation of the coil.

[0047] As a result, the coil device 101 including the laminated coil 30 in the first embodiment can suppress deterioration of the characteristics of the coil device 101 caused by a short circuit between the coil and the core.

[0048] Next, a method for manufacturing the laminated coil 30 in the first embodiment will be described with reference to Fig. 13 to Fig. 17. The method for manufacturing the laminated coil 30 includes a first step to a fourth step. Fig. 13 and Fig. 14 show a first step of the method for manufacturing the laminated coil 30 in the first embodiment.

[0049] 13 is a schematic plan view of a laminate 31 in which a first laminated insulating member 32A, a first coil 20, a second laminated insulating member 32B, a second coil 21, a third laminated insulating member 32C, a third coil 22, and a fourth laminated insulating member 32D are laminated in the Z direction in this order. In other words, it is a schematic plan view of the laminate 31 formed by arranging the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22 so as to be sandwiched between the multiple laminated insulating members 32 and stacking them in the Z direction. Moreover, the laminate 31 has a shape including a through hole 36 penetrating the multiple coils and the multiple laminated insulating members 32 in the Z direction, which is the stacking direction, inside the coil when viewed from the Z direction.

[0050] Fig. 14 is a schematic cross-sectional view of the laminate 31 taken along line DD in Fig. 13. As shown in Figs. 13 and 14, each of the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22 is disposed so as to be sandwiched between two laminated insulating members 32 adjacent in the Z direction. Specifically, each of the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22 is disposed in a region where two laminated insulating members 32 adjacent in the Z direction face each other, except for the connection portions. In other words, each of the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22 is disposed inside the two laminated insulating members 32 adjacent in the Z direction in a plan view, except for the connection portions.

[0051] Moreover, each of the laminated insulating members 32 protrudes from the inner ends 26 of the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22 into the through hole 36 at an inner end 57 of the laminate 31. Furthermore, the protrusion length of each of the first laminated insulating member 32A and the fourth laminated insulating member 32D provided at both ends in the Z direction, which is the stacking direction of the laminate 31, from the inner ends 26 of the first coil 20 and the third coil 22 into the through hole 36 is longer than the protrusion length of each of the other second laminated insulating members 32B and the third laminated insulating member 32C from the inner end 26 of the second coil 21 into the through hole 36. Here, the inner end 57 of the laminate 31 refers to the end of the laminate 31 located on the through hole 36 side in a plan view.

[0052] Furthermore, the length of protrusion from the inner end 26 of the first coil 20, the second coil 21 and the third coil 22 in each of the laminated insulating members 32 into the through hole 36 is set to be greater than the length of protrusion from the outer end 27 of the first coil 20, the second coil 21 and the third coil 22 in each of the laminated insulating members 32 outward, in the direction opposite to the through hole 36.

[0053] In the first embodiment, the protruding length is changed by changing the width of each of the laminated insulating members 32. Specifically, in the laminate 31, the width of each of the first laminated insulating member 32A and the fourth laminated insulating member 32D provided at both ends in the Z direction, which is the lamination direction of the laminate 31, is set to be larger than the width of each of the other laminated insulating members, the second laminated insulating member 32B and the third laminated insulating member 32C. Here, the width of the laminated insulating member 32 is the width along a direction perpendicular to the winding direction of the flat conductor of each coil in the XY plane.

[0054] Next, the second to fourth steps in the manufacturing method of the laminated coil 30 of the first embodiment will be described with reference to Figs. 15 to 17. Fig. 15 is a schematic perspective view showing the second step of the manufacturing method of the laminated coil 30 of the first embodiment. A pair of pressing elastic members 61, a pair of frame plates 62, and a pair of pressing members 63 are arranged so as to sandwich the laminated body 31 in the Z direction, which is the stacking direction. Specifically, a pair of pressing elastic members 61, which are a pair of first pressing elastic members, are arranged so as to sandwich the pressing region 60 of the laminated body 31 surrounded by a dashed line in the Z direction of the laminated body 31. The pressing region 60 is at least located on the through hole 36 side of the laminated body 31 in a plan view, and includes an inner end portion 57 that is a part of the laminated body 31. In addition, the pressing region 60 includes a part of the through hole 36. Here, the pressing region 60 may include the entire area of the through hole 36.

[0055] Next, a pair of frame plates 62 are arranged so as to sandwich the laminate 31 in the Z direction. The frame plate 62 has an opening larger than the pressure elastic member 61. This allows the frame plate 62 and the pressure elastic member 61 to not overlap in a plan view. In other words, the frame plate 62 is arranged so as to surround the pressure elastic member 61 in a plan view. Furthermore, a pair of pressing members 63 are prepared so as to sandwich the pressure elastic member 61 and the frame plate 62 in the Z direction.

[0056] Next, a third step of the manufacturing method of the laminated coil 30 in the first embodiment will be described. In the third step, pressure is applied between the pair of pressing members 63 using a press or the like. This presses the frame plate 62 and the pressing elastic member 61 in the Z direction, which is the lamination direction. This applies a pressure required to form the laminated coil 30 to the laminate 31.

[0057] Fig. 16 is a schematic perspective view showing a state in which pressure required to form a laminated coil 30 is applied to the laminate 31 in the Z direction of the laminate using a pressure elastic member 61, a frame plate 62, and a pressure member 63. Fig. 17 shows a schematic cross-sectional view of the cross-sectional line EE shown in Fig. 16. As shown in Fig. 17, by applying pressure between a pair of pressure members 63, the pair of pressure elastic members 61 sandwich the inner end 57, which is a part of the laminate 31, and apply pressure in the Z direction. Also, the pair of frame plates 62 sandwich a part of the region of the laminate 31 other than the inner end, and apply pressure in the Z direction.

[0058] Next, a fourth step of the manufacturing method of the laminated coil 30 in the first embodiment will be described. In the fourth step, the laminated body 31 shown in FIG. 16 and FIG. 17 is heated from 70°C to 150°C while pressure is applied to the laminated body 31. This heating hardens the adhesive material applied to each of the laminated insulating members 32. As a result, at the inner end 57 of the laminated body 31, each of the laminated insulating members 32 that protrude into the through hole 36 and are adjacent in the Z direction is bonded to each other. Specifically, at the inner end 55 of the laminated coil 30, the first laminated insulating member 32A and the second laminated insulating member 32B are bonded to each other. The second laminated insulating member 32B and the third laminated insulating member 32C are bonded to each other. The third laminated insulating member 32C and the fourth laminated insulating member 32D are bonded to each other.

[0059] Here, steps 3 and 4 in the manufacturing method of the laminated coil 30 of the first embodiment may be performed simultaneously. Specifically, for example, the laminated body 31 is sandwiched between a pair of heated pressing members 63, a pair of frame plates 62, and a pair of pressing elastic members 61, and pressure is applied to the laminated body 31 in the Z direction. In this manner, the pressure and heat required to form the laminated coil 30 are applied to the laminated body 31. This allows each of the multiple laminated insulating members 32 that protrude into the through-holes 36 at the inner end portion 57 of the laminated body 31 and are adjacent to each other in the Z direction to be bonded to each other.

[0060] As a result, the inner ends 26 of the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22 are sealed with the multiple laminated insulating members 32. Also, each of the multiple laminated insulating members 32 can be bonded to each of the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22. Furthermore, the inter-conductor insulating member 34 can also be bonded to the laminated insulating member 32.

[0061] At the outer end 58 of the laminate 31 in plan view, the outer ends 27 of the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22 are covered with an insulating sealing member 33 such as insulating tape so as not to be exposed. The outer ends 27 of the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22 may also be sealed with the insulating sealing member 33. Here, the insulating sealing member 33 is not limited to insulating tape. In this way, the laminate coil 30 is formed.

[0062] The pressurized elastic member 61 used in the manufacturing method of the laminated coil 30 of the first embodiment is formed, for example, using foamed silicone, foamed urethane, or silicone rubber. In this way, by using the pressurized elastic member 61 at the inner end 57 of the laminate 31, damage to the laminated insulating members 32 can be suppressed. Furthermore, since the pressurized elastic member 61 deforms following the shape of the laminate 31, each of the laminated insulating members 32 can be bonded to each other without damage or gaps even at the stepped portion of the coil or the inner corner of the flat conductor. Furthermore, even when the number of layers of the coil is changed, the width of the flat conductor is changed, or the thickness of the flat conductor is changed, each of the laminated insulating members 32 can be bonded to each other without damage or gaps.

[0063] The pressing member 63 is formed of a material having high thermal conductivity, such as aluminum or a metal containing iron. This allows the heat required to harden the adhesive member to be efficiently applied to the laminate 31. The frame plate 62 is formed of a material having high thermal conductivity, such as aluminum or a metal containing iron. This allows the heat required to harden the adhesive member to be efficiently applied to the laminate 31. The pair of frame plates 62 apply pressure to the laminate 31 in the Z direction, which is the stacking direction, thereby suppressing the displacement of the coil.

[0064] In this way, even in the inner end 57 of the laminate 31, which is difficult to seal without breakage or gaps due to its geometric characteristics such as having many curved portions, the manufacturing method of the laminate coil 30 according to the first embodiment makes it possible to bond the respective laminated insulating members 32 without breakage or gaps. This makes it possible to seal the inner end 26 of the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22. In other words, the inner end 26 of the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22 can be sealed by the plurality of laminated insulating members 32. Furthermore, by using the laminate coil 30 according to the first embodiment in the coil device 101, it is possible to suppress deterioration of the characteristics of the coil device 101 due to a short circuit between the coil and the core.

[0065] First modified example of the first embodiment. Next, a laminate coil 30B in a first modified example of the first embodiment and a coil device 101B including the laminate coil 30B in a first modified example of the first embodiment will be described. In the first modified example of the first embodiment, only the parts of the configuration that are different from the first embodiment will be described. Also, the same figure numbers are used for the same or corresponding configurations as the first embodiment, and the description thereof will be omitted. Here, the illustration of the coil device 101B is omitted.

[0066] 18 is a schematic cross-sectional view of a laminate coil 30B in a first modified example of the first embodiment. The laminate coil 30B is laminated in the Z direction, which is the stacking direction, in the order of the first laminate insulating member 32A, the fifth coil 70, the second laminate insulating member 32B, the sixth coil 71, the third laminate insulating member 32C, the seventh coil 72, and the fourth laminate insulating member 32D. In other words, the laminate coil 30B is laminated in the Z direction, with the fifth coil 70, the sixth coil 71, and the seventh coil 72 being arranged so as to be sandwiched between the multiple laminate insulating members 32.

[0067] At the inner end 55 of the laminate coil 30B, adjacent ones of the plurality of laminated insulating members 32 are bonded to each other. As a result, the inner end 26 of each of the fifth coil 70, the sixth coil 71, and the seventh coil 72 is sealed by the plurality of laminated insulating members 32. In other words, the inner end 26 of each of the fifth coil 70, the sixth coil 71, and the seventh coil 72 is sealed by the plurality of laminated insulating members 32.

[0068] Here, the inner end 55 of the laminate coil 30B is an end of the laminate coil 30B located on the through hole 35 side in a plan view. Also, the inner end 26 of each of the fifth coil 70, sixth coil 71, and seventh coil 72 is an end of each of the first coil 20, second coil 21, and third coil 22 located on the through hole 35 side in a plan view.

[0069] Furthermore, at the outer end 56 of the laminate coil 30B, the outer ends 27 of the fifth coil 70, the sixth coil 71, and the seventh coil 72 are covered with an insulating sealing member 33 such as insulating tape so as not to be exposed. Furthermore, the outer ends 27 of the fifth coil 70, the sixth coil 71, and the seventh coil 72 may be sealed with the insulating sealing member 33. The insulating sealing member 33 is not limited to insulating tape.

[0070] Here, the outer end 56 of the laminate coil 30B is an end located in the opposite direction to the inner end 55 of the laminate coil 30B on the side of the through hole 35 in the plan view. Also, the outer end 27 of the fifth coil 70, the sixth coil 71, and the seventh coil 72 is an end located in the opposite direction to the inner end 26 of the fifth coil 70, the sixth coil 71, and the seventh coil 72 on the side of the through hole 35 in the plan view.

[0071] 18, in a laminate coil 30B in a first modification of the first embodiment, at least the inner end 26 and at least the outer corners in the Z direction of the fifth coil 70 and the seventh coil 72 arranged at both ends in the Z direction, which is the stacking direction, are chamfered and rounded. This makes it possible to prevent damage to the laminated insulating members 32 at the inner end 55 of the laminated coil 30B when the multiple laminated insulating members 32 are bonded to each other.

[0072] In this manner, at the inner end 55 of the laminate coil 30B of the first modified example of the first embodiment, the multiple laminated insulating members 32 are bonded to each other without any breakage or gaps. That is, the inner end 26 of each of the fifth coil 70, the sixth coil 71, and the seventh coil 72 is sealed. In other words, the inner end 26 of each of the fifth coil 70, the sixth coil 71, and the seventh coil 72 is sealed by the multiple laminated insulating members 32. As a result, the coil device 101B including the laminate coil 30B of the first modified example of the first embodiment can suppress characteristic degradation caused by a short circuit between the coil and the core.

[0073] Second variant of the first embodiment. Next, a laminate coil 30C in a second modified example of the first embodiment and a coil device 101C including the laminate coil 30C in the second modified example of the first embodiment will be described. In the second modified example of the first embodiment, only the parts of the configuration different from the first embodiment will be described. Also, the same figure numbers are used for the same or corresponding configurations as the first embodiment, and the description thereof will be omitted. Here, the illustration of the coil device 101C will be omitted.

[0074] 19 is a schematic cross-sectional view of a laminate 31C in a second modified example of the first embodiment. The first laminated insulating member 32A, the eighth coil 73, the second laminated insulating member 32B, the ninth coil 74, the third laminated insulating member 32C, the tenth coil 75, and the fourth laminated insulating member 32D are laminated in this order in the Z direction. In other words, the eighth coil 73, the ninth coil 74, and the tenth coil 75 are each arranged so as to be sandwiched between the multiple laminated insulating members 32, and are laminated in the Z direction.

[0075] 19, at the inner end 57 of the laminate 31C, each of the laminated insulating members 32 protrudes from the inner ends 26 of the eighth coil 73, the ninth coil 74, and the tenth coil 75 into the through hole 36. In the Z direction, which is the stacking direction of the laminate 31C, the protruding lengths of the eighth coil 73 and the tenth coil 75 from the inner ends 26 into the through hole 36 in each of the first laminated insulating member 32A and the fourth laminated insulating member 32D provided at both ends are set longer than the protruding length of the ninth coil 74 from the inner end 26 into the through hole 36 in each of the other second laminated insulating member 32B and third laminated insulating member 32C.

[0076] Here, the inner end 57 of the laminate 31C is an end of the laminate 31C that is located on the through hole 36 side in a plan view. Also, the inner end 26 of each of the eighth coil 73, the ninth coil 74, and the tenth coil 75 is an end of each of the eighth coil 73, the ninth coil 74, and the tenth coil 75 that is located on the through hole 36 side in a plan view.

[0077] In the second modification of the first embodiment, the protruding length of the laminated insulating member 32 is changed by changing the width of the flat conductor of each of the eighth coil 73, the ninth coil 74, and the tenth coil 75. Specifically, for example, in the laminate 31C, the width of the flat conductor of each of the eighth coil 73 and the tenth coil 75 provided at both ends in the Z direction, which is the lamination direction of the laminate 31, is set to be smaller than the width of the flat conductor of the ninth coil 74. Here, the width of the flat conductor of the coil refers to the width of the flat conductor in the direction perpendicular to the winding direction of the coil in the XY plane.

[0078] 20 is a schematic cross-sectional view of the laminate coil 30C. The laminate coil 30C is stacked in the Z direction in the following order: first laminate insulating member 32A, eighth coil 73, second laminate insulating member 32B, ninth coil 74, third laminate insulating member 32C, tenth coil 75, and fourth laminate insulating member 32D. In other words, the laminate coil 30C is stacked in the Z direction such that the eighth coil 73, ninth coil 74, and tenth coil 75 are sandwiched between the multiple laminate insulating members 32.

[0079] Furthermore, at the inner end 55 of the laminated coil 30C, the multiple laminated insulating members 32 adjacent to each other in the Z direction are bonded to each other. As a result, the inner end 26 of each of the eighth coil 73, the ninth coil 74, and the tenth coil 75 is sealed by the multiple laminated insulating members 32. In other words, the inner end 26 of each of the eighth coil 73, the ninth coil 74, and the tenth coil 75 is sealed by the multiple laminated insulating members 32.

[0080] Furthermore, at the outer end 56 of the laminate coil 30C, the outer ends 27 of the eighth coil 73, the ninth coil 74, and the tenth coil 75 are covered with an insulating sealing member 33 such as insulating tape so as not to be exposed. Furthermore, the outer ends 27 of the eighth coil 73, the ninth coil 74, and the tenth coil 75 may be sealed with the insulating sealing member 33. The insulating sealing member 33 is not limited to insulating tape.

[0081] Here, the outer end 56 of the laminated coil 30C is an end located in the opposite direction to the inner end 55 of the laminated coil 30C on the side of the through hole 35 in a plan view. Also, the outer end 27 of the eighth coil 73, the ninth coil 74, and the tenth coil 75 is an end located in the opposite direction to the inner end 26 of the eighth coil 73, the ninth coil 74, and the tenth coil 75 on the side of the through hole 35 in a plan view.

[0082] In the laminate coil 30C in the second modification of the first embodiment, as shown in Fig. 20, the width of the flat conductor of each of the eighth coil 73 and the tenth coil 75 arranged at both ends in the Z direction is smaller than the width of the flat conductor of the ninth coil 74 arranged at the center except for both ends. In other words, the width of the flat conductor of the ninth coil 74 arranged at the center except for both ends in the Z direction is larger than the width of the flat conductor of each of the eighth coil 73 and the tenth coil 75 at both ends. Here, the width of the flat conductor is the width of the flat conductor in the direction perpendicular to the winding direction of the coil in the XY plane.

[0083] This makes it possible to prevent damage to the laminated insulating member 32 at the inner end 55 of the laminated coil 30C when bonding between the multiple laminated insulating members 32. Here, an example has been described in which the number of coil layers is three, but the number of coil layers may be less or more than three. When the number of coil layers is more than three, the coil arranged in the center excluding both ends will be multi-layered. Also, the widths of the flat conductors of the multiple-layer coils arranged in the center may differ from each other.

[0084] In this way, at the inner end 55 of the laminate coil 30C of the second modified example of the first embodiment, the plurality of laminated insulating members 32 can be bonded together without breakage or gaps. The inner end 26 of each of the eighth coil 73, the ninth coil 74, and the tenth coil 75 can be sealed. In other words, the inner end 26 of each of the eighth coil 73, the ninth coil 74, and the tenth coil 75 can be sealed by the plurality of laminated insulating members 32. As a result, the coil device 101C including the laminate coil 30C of the second modified example of the first embodiment can suppress characteristic degradation caused by a short circuit between the coil and the core.

[0085] A third variation of the first embodiment. Next, a laminate coil 30D in a third modified example of the first embodiment and a coil device 101D including the laminate coil 30D in the third modified example of the first embodiment will be described. In the third modified example of the first embodiment, only the parts of the configuration different from the first embodiment will be described. Also, the same figure numbers are used for the same or corresponding configurations as the first embodiment, and the description thereof will be omitted. Here, the illustration of the coil device 101D will be omitted.

[0086] 21 is a schematic cross-sectional view of a laminate coil 30D in a third modified example of the first embodiment. The laminate coil 30D is laminated in the Z direction, which is the lamination direction, in the order of the first laminate insulating member 32A, the eleventh coil 76, the second laminate insulating member 32B, the twelfth coil 77, the third laminate insulating member 32C, the thirteenth coil 78, and the fourth laminate insulating member 32D. In other words, the laminate coil 30D is laminated in the Z direction, with the eleventh coil 76, the twelfth coil 77, and the thirteenth coil 78 being arranged so as to be sandwiched between the multiple laminate insulating members 32.

[0087] At the inner end 55 of the laminated coil 30D, adjacent ones of the plurality of laminated insulating members 32 are bonded to each other. As a result, the inner end 26 of each of the eleventh coil 76, the twelfth coil 77, and the thirteenth coil 78 is sealed by the plurality of laminated insulating members 32. In other words, the inner end 26 of each of the eleventh coil 76, the twelfth coil 77, and the thirteenth coil 78 is sealed by the plurality of laminated insulating members 32.

[0088] Here, the inner end 55 of the laminate coil 30D is an end of the laminate coil 30D located on the through hole 35 side in a plan view. Also, the inner end 26 of each of the 11th coil 76, the 12th coil 77, and the 13th coil 78 is an end of each of the 11th coil 76, the 12th coil 77, and the 13th coil 78 located on the through hole 35 side in a plan view.

[0089] Furthermore, at the outer end 56 of the laminate coil 30D, the outer ends 27 of the 11th coil 76, the 12th coil 77, and the 13th coil 78 are covered with an insulating sealing member 33 such as insulating tape so as not to be exposed. Furthermore, the outer ends 27 of the 11th coil 76, the 12th coil 77, and the 13th coil 78 may be sealed with the insulating sealing member 33. The insulating sealing member 33 is not limited to insulating tape.

[0090] Here, the outer end 56 of the laminated coil 30D is an end located in the opposite direction to the inner end 55 of the laminated coil 30D, which is on the through hole 35 side, in a plan view. Also, the outer end 27 of the 11th coil 76, the 12th coil 77, and the 13th coil 78 is an end located in the opposite direction to the inner end 26 of the 11th coil 76, the 12th coil 77, and the 13th coil 78, which is on the through hole 35 side, in a plan view.

[0091] In laminate coil 30D in the third modification of embodiment 1, as shown in Fig. 21, the width of the flat conductor of 12 coil 77 arranged in the center excluding both ends in the Z direction, which is the lamination direction, is larger than the width of each of the flat conductors of 11 coil 76 and 13 coil 78 arranged in both ends. In other words, the width of each of the flat conductors of 11 coil 76 and 13 coil 78 arranged in both ends in the Z direction is smaller than the width of the flat conductor of 12 coil 77 arranged in the center excluding both ends. Here, the width of the flat conductor is the width of the flat conductor in the direction perpendicular to the winding direction of the coil in the XY plane.

[0092] In the laminate coil 30D according to the third modification of the first embodiment, as shown in Fig. 21, at least the inner end and at least the outer corner in the Z direction of the eleventh coil 76 and the thirteenth coil 78, which are disposed at both ends in the Z direction, which is the lamination direction, are chamfered and rounded. Furthermore, at least the inner end corner of the twelfth coil 77, which is disposed in the center excluding both ends in the Z direction, may be chamfered and rounded. This makes it possible to prevent the laminated insulating members 32 from being damaged at the inner end of the laminated coil 30D when each of the multiple laminated insulating members 32 is bonded.

[0093] This allows the multiple laminated insulating members 32 to be bonded together without breakage or gaps at the inner end 55 of the laminated coil 30D of the third modified example of the first embodiment. Here, the case where the number of coil layers is three has been described as an example, but the number of coil layers may be less or more than three. When the number of coil layers is more than three, the coil arranged in the center excluding both ends will be multi-layered. Also, the widths of the flat conductors of the multiple-layer coils arranged in the center may differ from each other.

[0094] In this manner, it is possible to seal the inner end 26 of each of the eleventh coil 76, the twelfth coil 77, and the thirteenth coil 78. In other words, it is possible to seal the inner end 26 of each of the eleventh coil 76, the twelfth coil 77, and the thirteenth coil 78 by the multiple laminated insulating members 32. As a result, the coil device 101D including the laminated coil 30D of the third modified example of the first embodiment can suppress characteristic degradation caused by a short circuit between the coil and the core.

[0095] Embodiment 2 Next, a laminate coil 30E in the second embodiment and a coil device 101E including the laminate coil 30E in the second embodiment will be described. Note that in the second embodiment, only the configuration different from the first embodiment will be described. Also, the same reference numerals will be used for the same or corresponding configuration as the first embodiment, and the description thereof will be omitted.

[0096] Fig. 22 is a schematic cross-sectional view of the coil device 101E of the embodiment 2. The coil device 101E of the embodiment 2 is shown in a schematic cross-sectional view showing a configuration similar to that of Fig. 5 of the embodiment 1. Here, the coil device 101E according to the embodiment 2 has the same configuration as the coil device 101 of the embodiment 1 except for the laminate coil 30E, and therefore the description thereof will be omitted.

[0097] As shown in Fig. 23, the laminate coil 30E has a shape with a relatively large surface area in plan view from the Z direction. In other words, the laminate coil 30E has a generally rectangular flat plate shape that extends along the XY plane and is composed of multiple straight line portions and multiple corner portions. However, the shape is not limited to a rectangle, and may be, for example, an elliptical or circular flat plate shape extending in the XY plane. Furthermore, the laminate coil 30E has a shape that includes a through hole 35 that penetrates the stacked coils and the stacked insulating members 32 in the Z direction, which is the stacking direction, inside the coil in plan view.

[0098] Fig. 24 shows a schematic cross-sectional view of the cross-sectional line FF shown in Fig. 23. As shown in Fig. 24, the laminate coil 30E has a laminated structure in which a first laminated insulating member 32A, a first coil 20, a second laminated insulating member 32B, a second coil 21, a third laminated insulating member 32C, a third coil 22, and a fourth laminated insulating member 32D are laminated in this order in the Z direction. In other words, the laminate coil 30E has a laminated structure formed by arranging each of the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22 so as to be sandwiched between each of the multiple laminated insulating members 32 and stacking them in the Z direction.

[0099] In plan view, at the inner end 55 of the laminate coil 30E, the adjacent laminated insulating members 32 are bonded to each other in the Z direction, which is the lamination direction. Specifically, at the inner end 55 of the laminate coil 30E, the first laminated insulating member 32A and the second laminated insulating member 32B are bonded. The second laminated insulating member 32B and the third laminated insulating member 32C are bonded. The third laminated insulating member 32C and the fourth laminated insulating member 32D are bonded. As a result, the inner end 26 of each of the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22 is sealed by the multiple laminated insulating members 32. In other words, the inner end 26 of each of the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22 is sealed by the multiple laminated insulating members 32.

[0100] Furthermore, in the plan view, at the outer end 56 of the laminate coil 30E, the multiple laminated insulating members 32 adjacent to each other in the Z direction, which is the stacking direction, are bonded to each other. Specifically, at the outer end 56 of the laminate coil 30E, the first laminated insulating member 32A and the second laminated insulating member 32B are bonded. The second laminated insulating member 32B and the third laminated insulating member 32C are bonded. The third laminated insulating member 32C and the fourth laminated insulating member 32D are bonded. As a result, the outer ends 27 of the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22 are sealed by the multiple laminated insulating members 32. In other words, the outer ends 27 of the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22 are sealed by the multiple laminated insulating members 32.

[0101] The effects of the laminated coil 30E and the coil device 101F in the second embodiment will be described. The laminated coil 30E has a laminated structure in which the first laminated insulating member 32A, the first coil 20, the second laminated insulating member 32B, the second coil 21, the third laminated insulating member 32C, the third coil 22, and the fourth laminated insulating member 32D are laminated in this order in the Z direction, which is the lamination direction. In other words, the laminated coil 30E has a laminated structure formed by stacking the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22 in the Z direction, arranged so as to be sandwiched between the multiple laminated insulating members 32.

[0102] At the inner end 55 of the laminated coil 30E in plan view, the multiple laminated insulating members 32 adjacent to each other in the Z direction are bonded to each other. That is, the inner end 26 of each of the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22 is sealed by the multiple laminated insulating members 32. In other words, the inner end 26 of each of the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22 is sealed by the multiple laminated insulating members 32.

[0103] Furthermore, at the outer end 56 of the laminated coil 30E, the multiple laminated insulating members 32 adjacent to each other in the Z direction are bonded to each other. That is, the outer end 27 of each of the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22 is sealed by the multiple laminated insulating members 32. In other words, the outer end 27 of each of the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22 is sealed by the multiple laminated insulating members 32. This makes it possible to prevent the coil from being exposed between the laminated insulating members 32 due to displacement or deformation of the coil caused by vibration, expansion or contraction of the coil due to heat, or the like.

[0104] As a result, the coil device 101E including the laminated coil 30E in the second embodiment can suppress deterioration of the characteristics of the coil device 101E due to a short circuit between the coil and the core.

[0105] Next, a method for manufacturing the laminated coil 30E according to the second embodiment will be described with reference to Fig. 25 to Fig. 29. The method for manufacturing the laminated coil 30E includes a first step to a fourth step. Fig. 25 and Fig. 26 show a first step of the method for manufacturing the laminated coil 30E according to the second embodiment.

[0106] 25 is a schematic plan view of a laminate 31E in which a first laminated insulating member 32A, a first coil 20, a second laminated insulating member 32B, a second coil 21, a third laminated insulating member 32C, a third coil 22, and a fourth laminated insulating member 32D are laminated in the Z direction, which is the lamination direction, in this order. In other words, it is a schematic plan view of a laminate 31E formed by arranging each of the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22 so as to be sandwiched between each of the multiple laminated insulating members 32 and laminating them in the Z direction. Moreover, the laminate 31E has a shape including a through hole 36 penetrating the multiple coils and the multiple laminated insulating members 32 in the Z direction, which is the lamination direction, inside the coil when viewed from the Z direction.

[0107] Fig. 26 is a schematic cross-sectional view of the laminate 31E taken along line GG in Fig. 25. As shown in Figs. 25 and 26, each of the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22 is disposed so as to be sandwiched between two laminated insulating members 32 adjacent in the Z direction. Specifically, except for the connection portions, each of the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22 is disposed within a region in which the two laminated insulating members 32 adjacent in the Z direction face each other. In other words, each of the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22 is disposed inside the two laminated insulating members 32 adjacent in the Z direction in a plan view, except for the connection portions.

[0108] Also, at the inner end 57 of the laminate 31E, each of the laminated insulating members 32 protrudes from the inner ends 26 of the first coil 20, the second coil 21 and the third coil 22 into the through hole 36. Furthermore, in the Z direction, which is the stacking direction of the laminate 31E, the protruding lengths of the first laminated insulating member 32A and the fourth laminated insulating member 32D provided at both ends from the inner ends 26 of the first coil 20 and the third coil 22 into the through hole 36 are set longer than the protruding lengths of the other second laminated insulating members 32B and third laminated insulating members 32C from the inner end 26 of the second coil 21 into the through hole 36.

[0109] Furthermore, at the outer end 58 of the laminate 31E, each of the laminated insulating members 32 protrudes outward from the outer ends 27 of the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22 in the opposite direction to the through hole 36. The length by which the first laminated insulating member 32A and the fourth laminated insulating member 32D provided at both ends of the laminate 31E in the Z direction protrudes outward from the outer ends 27 of the first coil 20 and the third coil 22 is longer than the length by which the other second laminated insulating members 32B and third laminated insulating members 32C protrude outward from the outer end 27 of the second coil 21.

[0110] In the second embodiment, the protruding length is changed by changing the width of each of the laminated insulating members 32. Specifically, in the laminate 31E, the width of each of the first laminated insulating member 32A and the fourth laminated insulating member 32D provided at both ends in the Z direction, which is the stacking direction of the laminate 31E, is set to be larger than the width of each of the other second laminated insulating members 32B and third laminated insulating members 32C.

[0111] Next, the second to fourth steps in the manufacturing method of the laminated coil 30E of the second embodiment will be described with reference to FIG. 27 to FIG. 29. FIG. 27 is a schematic perspective view showing the second step of the manufacturing method of the laminated coil 30E. A pair of first pressing elastic members 61A, a pair of second pressing elastic members 64A, a pair of frame plates 62A, and a pair of pressing members 63A are arranged so as to sandwich the laminated body 31E in the Z direction, which is the stacking direction. Specifically, a pair of first pressing elastic members 61A are arranged so as to sandwich the first pressing region 60A of the laminated body 31E surrounded by a dashed line in the Z direction of the laminated body 31E. The first pressing region 60A is at least located on the through hole 36 side of the laminated body 31E in a plan view, and includes an inner end portion 57 that is a part of the laminated body 31E. In addition, the first pressing region 60A includes a part of the through hole 36 of the laminated body 31E. Here, the first pressing region 60A may include the entire area of the through-hole .

[0112] Furthermore, a pair of second pressing elastic members 64A are arranged to sandwich in the Z direction a second pressing region 65A, which is a region outside the two-dot dashed line shown on the laminate 31E in a plan view. The second pressing region 65A is located at least in a plan view in the opposite direction to the inner end 57 on the through hole 36 side, and includes an outer end 58 that is a part of the laminate 31E.

[0113] Next, a pair of frame plates 62A are arranged so as to sandwich the laminate 31E in the Z direction. The frame plate 62A has an opening larger than the first pressing elastic member 61A. Furthermore, the frame plate 62A is arranged in an area of the laminate 31E excluding the first pressing region 60A and the second pressing region 65A. As a result, the frame plate 62A does not overlap with the first pressing elastic member 61A and the second pressing elastic member 64A in a plan view from the Z direction. Furthermore, a pair of pressing members 63A are prepared so as to sandwich the first pressing elastic member 61A, the second pressing elastic member 64A and the frame plate 62A in the Z direction.

[0114] Next, a third step of the manufacturing method of the laminated coil 30E in the second embodiment will be described. In the third step, a press or the like is used to apply pressure between the pair of pressing members 63A to press the first pressing elastic member 61A, the second pressing elastic member 64A, and the frame plate 62A in the Z direction. This applies a pressure required to form the laminated coil 30E to the laminate 31E.

[0115] FIG. 28 shows a state in which a pressure required to form a laminated coil 30E is applied to the laminate 31E in the Z direction, which is the lamination direction of the laminate, using the first pressing elastic member 61A, the second pressing elastic member 64A, the frame plate 62A, and the pressing member 63A. FIG. 29 shows a schematic cross-sectional view of the cross-sectional line HH shown in FIG. 28. As shown in FIG. 29, by applying pressure between the pair of pressing members 63A, the pair of first pressing elastic members 61A sandwiches the inner end 57, which is a part of the laminate 31E, and presses it in the Z direction. The pair of second pressing elastic members 64A sandwiches the outer end 58, which is a part of the laminate 31E, and presses it in the Z direction. Furthermore, the pair of frame plates 62A sandwiches a part of the area of the laminate 31E excluding the inner end 57 and the outer end 58, and presses it in the Z direction.

[0116] Next, a fourth step of the manufacturing method of the laminate coil 30E in the second embodiment will be described. In the fourth step, the laminate 31E is heated from 70°C to 150°C while pressure is being applied to the laminate 31E as shown in Figs. 28 and 29. This heating hardens the adhesive applied to each of the laminated insulating members 32. As a result, at the inner end 57 of the laminate 31E, the laminated insulating members 32 adjacent to each other in the Z direction, which is the stacking direction of the laminate, and protruding into the through hole 36 are bonded to each other. Furthermore, at the outer end 58 of the laminate 31E, the laminated insulating members 32 adjacent to each other in the Z direction and protruding outward in the opposite direction to the through hole 36 are bonded to each other.

[0117] Here, in the manufacturing method of the laminated coil 30E of the second embodiment, steps 3 and 4 may be performed simultaneously. Specifically, for example, the laminated body 31E is sandwiched between a pair of heated pressing members 63A, a pair of frame plates 62A, a pair of first pressing elastic members 61A, and a pair of second pressing elastic members 64A, and pressure is applied to the laminated body 31E in the Z direction. In this manner, the pressure and heat required for forming the laminated coil 30E are applied to the laminated body 31. As a result, at the inner end 57 of the laminated body 31E, each of the multiple laminated insulating members 32 that protrude into the through hole 36 and are adjacent in the Z direction can be bonded to each other. Furthermore, at the outer end 58 of the laminated body 31E, each of the laminated insulating members 32 that are adjacent in the Z direction and protrude outward can be bonded to each other.

[0118] As a result, the inner end 26 and the outer end 27 of each of the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22 in a plan view are sealed with the multiple laminated insulating members 32. Also, each of the multiple laminated insulating members 32 can be bonded to each of the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22. In this way, the laminated coil 30E is formed.

[0119] Here, the first pressurized elastic member 61A and the second pressurized elastic member 64A used in the manufacturing method of the laminated coil 30E of the second embodiment are formed, for example, using foamed silicone, foamed urethane, or silicone rubber. In this way, by using the first pressurized elastic member 61A and the second pressurized elastic member 64A at the inner end 57 and the outer end 58 of the laminate 31E, damage to the laminated insulating member 32 can be suppressed. In addition, the first pressurized elastic member 61A and the second pressurized elastic member 64A deform in accordance with the shape of the laminate 31E, so that even if the number of layers of the coil is changed, the width of the flat conductor of the coil in the XY plane is changed, or the thickness of the flat conductor is changed, each of the multiple laminated insulating members 32 can be bonded to each other without damage or gaps.

[0120] Here, the pressing member 63A is formed of a material having high thermal conductivity, such as aluminum or a metal containing iron. This allows the heat required to harden the adhesive to be efficiently applied to the laminate 31E. The frame plate 62A is formed of a material having high thermal conductivity, such as aluminum or a metal containing iron. This allows the heat required to harden the adhesive to be efficiently applied to the laminate 31E. In addition, the pair of frame plates 62A apply pressure in the Z direction to the laminate 31E, thereby suppressing the displacement of the coil.

[0121] In this way, even in the inner end 57 and the outer end 58 of the laminate 31E, which are difficult to seal without breakage or gaps due to their geometric features such as having many curved portions, the manufacturing method of the laminate coil 30E according to the second embodiment allows the laminated insulating members 32 to be bonded together without gaps. This allows the inner end 26 and the outer end 27 of each of the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22 to be sealed. In other words, the inner end 26 and the outer end 27 of each of the first coil 20, the second coil 21, and the third coil 22 can be sealed by the laminated insulating member 32. Furthermore, by using the laminate coil 30E according to the second embodiment in the coil device 101E, it is possible to suppress deterioration of the characteristics of the coil device 101E due to a short circuit between the coil and the core.

[0122] First modified example of the second embodiment. Next, a laminate coil 30F in a first modified example of the second embodiment and a coil device 101F including the laminate coil 30F in a first modified example of the second embodiment will be described. In the first modified example of the second embodiment, only the parts of the configuration different from the first embodiment will be described. Also, the same figure numbers are used for the same or corresponding configurations as the first embodiment, and the description thereof will be omitted. Here, the illustration of the coil device 101F is omitted.

[0123] 30 is a schematic cross-sectional view of a laminate coil 30F in a first modified example of the second embodiment. The laminate coil 30F is laminated in the Z direction, which is the lamination direction, in the order of the first laminated insulating member 32A, the fourteenth coil 80, the second laminated insulating member 32B, the fifteenth coil 81, the third laminated insulating member 32C, the sixteenth coil 82, and the fourth laminated insulating member 32D. In other words, the fourteenth coil 80, the fifteenth coil 81, and the sixteenth coil 82 are each arranged so as to be sandwiched between the multiple laminated insulating members 32, and are laminated in the Z direction.

[0124] At the inner end 55 of the laminate coil 30F, adjacent ones of the plurality of laminated insulating members 32 are bonded to each other. As a result, the inner end 26 of each of the fourteenth coil 80, the fifteenth coil 81, and the sixteenth coil 82 is sealed by the plurality of laminated insulating members 32. In other words, the inner end 26 of each of the fourteenth coil 80, the fifteenth coil 81, and the sixteenth coil 82 is sealed by the plurality of laminated insulating members 32.

[0125] Furthermore, in a plan view, at the outer end 56 of the laminated coil 30F, the multiple laminated insulating members 32 adjacent to each other in the Z direction are bonded to each other. As a result, the outer ends 27 of the fourteenth coil 80, the fifteenth coil 81, and the sixteenth coil 82 are sealed by the multiple laminated insulating members 32. In other words, the outer ends 27 of the fourteenth coil 80, the fifteenth coil 81, and the sixteenth coil 82 are sealed by the multiple laminated insulating members 32.

[0126] 30, in a laminate coil 30F in a first modification of the second embodiment, in a fourteenth coil 80 and a sixteenth coil 82 arranged at both ends in the Z direction, which is the stacking direction, the inner end 26 and the outer end 27, and at least the outer corners in the Z direction, are chamfered and rounded. This makes it possible to prevent damage to the laminated insulating members 32 at the inner end 55 and the outer end 56 of the laminated coil 30F when each of the multiple laminated insulating members 32 is bonded to one another.

[0127] In this way, at the inner end 55 and the outer end 56 of the laminate coil 30F of the first modified example of the second embodiment, each of the multiple laminated insulating members 32 is bonded without any breakage or gaps. That is, the inner end 26 and the outer end 27 of each of the 14th coil 80, the 15th coil 81, and the 16th coil 82 are sealed. In other words, the inner end 26 and the outer end 27 of each of the 14th coil 80, the 15th coil 81, and the 16th coil 82 are sealed by the multiple laminated insulating members 32. As a result, the coil device 101F including the laminate coil 30F of the first modified example of the second embodiment can suppress characteristic deterioration caused by a short circuit between the coil and the core.

[0128] Second variant of embodiment 2. Next, a laminate coil 30G in a second modified example of the second embodiment and a coil device 101G including the laminate coil 30G in a second modified example of the second embodiment will be described. In the second modified example of the second embodiment, only the parts of the configuration different from the first embodiment will be described. Also, the same figure numbers are used for the same or corresponding configurations as the first embodiment, and the description thereof will be omitted. Here, the illustration of the coil device 101G will be omitted.

[0129] 31 is a schematic cross-sectional view of a laminate 31G in a second modified example of the second embodiment. The laminate 31G is formed by stacking the first laminated insulating member 32A, the eighth coil 73, the second laminated insulating member 32B, the ninth coil 74, the third laminated insulating member 32C, the tenth coil 75, and the fourth laminated insulating member 32D in this order in the Z direction. In other words, the eighth coil 73, the ninth coil 74, and the tenth coil 75 are each arranged so as to be sandwiched between the multiple laminated insulating members 32, and are stacked in the Z direction.

[0130] 31, each of the laminated insulating members 32 protrudes from the inner ends 26 of the eighth coil 73, the ninth coil 74, and the tenth coil 75 into the through hole 36 at the inner end 57 of the laminate 31G. Furthermore, the protrusion lengths of the first laminated insulating member 32A and the fourth laminated insulating member 32D provided at both ends in the Z direction, which is the stacking direction of the laminate 31G, from the inner ends 26 of the eighth coil 73 and the tenth coil 75 into the through hole 36 are longer than the protrusion lengths of the second laminated insulating member 32B and the third laminated insulating member 32C other than them from the inner end 26 of the ninth coil 74 into the through hole 36.

[0131] Furthermore, at the outer end 58 of the laminate 31G, each of the laminated insulating members 32 protrudes outward from the outer ends 27 of the through holes 36 of the eighth coil 73, the ninth coil 74 and the tenth coil 75. Furthermore, the length of protrusion outward from the outer end 27 of the eighth coil 73 or the tenth coil 75 of the first laminated insulating member 32A and the fourth laminated insulating member 32D provided at both ends in the Z direction of the laminate 31G is longer than the length of protrusion outward from the outer end 27 of the ninth coil 74 of the other second laminated insulating member 32B and third laminated insulating member 32C.

[0132] In the second modification of the second embodiment, the protruding length of the laminated insulating member 32 is changed by changing the width of the flat conductor of each of the eighth coil 73, the ninth coil 74, and the tenth coil 75. Specifically, for example, in the laminate 31G, the width of the flat conductor of each of the eighth coil 73 and the tenth coil 75 provided at both ends of the laminate 31G in the Z direction is set smaller than the width of the flat conductor of the ninth coil 74.

[0133] 32 is a schematic cross-sectional view of a laminated coil 30G. The laminated coil 30G is stacked in the Z direction, which is the stacking direction, in the order of the first laminated insulating member 32A, the eighth coil 73, the second laminated insulating member 32B, the ninth coil 74, the third laminated insulating member 32C, the tenth coil 75, and the fourth laminated insulating member 32D. In other words, the eighth coil 73, the ninth coil 74, and the tenth coil 75 are each arranged so as to be sandwiched between the multiple laminated insulating members 32, and are stacked in the Z direction.

[0134] At the inner end 55 of the laminate coil 30G, the multiple laminated insulating members 32 adjacent to each other in the Z direction are bonded to each other.

[0135] Furthermore, at the outer end 56 of the laminated coil 30G, the multiple laminated insulating members 32 adjacent to each other in the Z direction are bonded to each other. As a result, the outer ends 27 of the eighth coil 73, the ninth coil 74, and the tenth coil 75 are sealed by the multiple laminated insulating members 32. In other words, the outer ends 27 of the eighth coil 73, the ninth coil 74, and the tenth coil 75 are sealed by the multiple laminated insulating members 32.

[0136] 32, in the laminate coil 30G in the second modification of the second embodiment, the width of the flat conductor of each of the eighth coil 73 and the tenth coil 75 arranged at both ends in the Z direction is smaller than the width of the flat conductor of the ninth coil 74 arranged in the center except for both ends. In other words, the width of the flat conductor of the ninth coil 74 arranged in the center except for both ends in the Z direction is larger than the width of the flat conductor of each of the eighth coil 73 and the tenth coil 75 at both ends.

[0137] This makes it possible to prevent damage to the laminated insulating members 32 when bonding the spaces between the plurality of laminated insulating members 32 at the inner end 55 of the laminated coil 30G. Furthermore, it makes it possible to prevent damage to the laminated insulating members 32 when bonding the spaces between the plurality of laminated insulating members 32 at the outer end 56 of the laminated coil 30G. Here, the case where the number of coil layers is three has been described as an example, but the number of coil layers may be less or more than three. When the number of coil layers is more than three, the coil arranged in the center excluding both ends is multi-layered. Furthermore, the widths of the flat conductors of the multi-layered coils arranged in the center may differ from each other.

[0138] In this way, the inner end 55 and the outer end 56 of the laminated coil 30G of the second modified example of the second embodiment can be bonded between the plurality of laminated insulating members 32 without any breakage or gaps. The inner end 26 and the outer end 27 of each of the eighth coil 73, the ninth coil 74, and the tenth coil 75 can be sealed. In other words, the inner end 26 and the outer end 27 of each of the eighth coil 73, the ninth coil 74, and the tenth coil 75 can be sealed by the plurality of laminated insulating members 32. As a result, the coil device 101G including the laminated coil 30G of the second modified example of the second embodiment can suppress characteristic degradation caused by a short circuit between the coil and the core.

[0139] Third variant of the second embodiment. Next, a laminate coil 30H in a third modified example of the second embodiment and a coil device 101H including the laminate coil 30H in the third modified example of the second embodiment will be described. In the third modified example of the second embodiment, only the parts of the configuration different from the first embodiment will be described. Also, the same figure numbers will be used for the same or corresponding configurations as the first embodiment, and the description thereof will be omitted. Here, the illustration of the coil device 101H will be omitted.

[0140] 33 is a schematic cross-sectional view of a laminate coil 30H in a third modified example of the second embodiment. In the laminate coil 30H, the first laminated insulating member 32A, the seventeenth coil 83, the second laminated insulating member 32B, the eighteenth coil 84, the third laminated insulating member 32C, the nineteenth coil 85, and the fourth laminated insulating member 32D are laminated in this order in the Z direction, which is the lamination direction. In other words, the seventeenth coil 83, the eighteenth coil 84, and the nineteenth coil 85 are each arranged so as to be sandwiched between the multiple laminated insulating members 32, and are laminated in the Z direction.

[0141] At the inner end 55 of the laminate coil 30H, adjacent ones of the plurality of laminated insulating members 32 are bonded to each other. As a result, the inner end 26 of each of the 17th coil 83, the 18th coil 84, and the 19th coil 85 is sealed by the plurality of laminated insulating members 32. In other words, the inner end 26 of each of the 17th coil 83, the 18th coil 84, and the 19th coil 85 is sealed by the plurality of laminated insulating members 32.

[0142] Furthermore, at the outer end 56 of the laminated coil 30H, the multiple laminated insulating members 32 adjacent to each other in the stacking direction are bonded to each other. As a result, the outer ends 27 of the 17th coil 83, the 18th coil 84, and the 19th coil 85 are each sealed by the multiple laminated insulating members 32. In other words, the outer ends 27 of the 17th coil 83, the 18th coil 84, and the 19th coil 85 are each sealed by the multiple laminated insulating members 32.

[0143] 33, in the laminate coil 30H in the third modification of the second embodiment, the width of the flat conductor of each of the 17th coil 83 and the 19th coil 85 arranged at both ends in the Z direction is smaller than the width of the flat conductor of the 18th coil 84 arranged in the center except for both ends. In other words, the width of the flat conductor of the 18th coil 84 arranged in the center except for both ends in the Z direction is larger than the width of the flat conductor of each of the 17th coil 83 and the 19th coil 85 at both ends.

[0144] In the laminate coil 30H in the third modification of the second embodiment, at least the outer corners in the Z direction of the inner end 26 and the outer end 27 of the 17th coil 83 and the 19th coil 85, which are located at both ends in the Z direction, which is the lamination direction, are chamfered and rounded. Furthermore, in the 18th coil 84, which is located in the center in the Z direction excluding both ends, the corners of the inner end 26 and the outer end 27 in a plan view may be chamfered and rounded. This makes it possible to prevent the laminated insulating members 32 from being damaged when bonding each of the multiple laminated insulating members 32 at the inner end 55 and the outer end 56 of the laminate coil 30H.

[0145] This allows the multiple laminated insulating members 32 to be bonded together without damage or gaps at the inner end 55 and outer end 56 of the laminated coil 30H of the third modified example of the second embodiment. Here, an example has been described in which the number of layers of the coil is three, but the number of layers of the coil may be more or less than three. When the number of layers of the coil is more than three, the coil arranged in the center excluding both ends will be multi-layered. Furthermore, the widths of the flat conductors of the multiple layers of the coil arranged in the center may differ from each other.

[0146] In this manner, the inner end 26 and the outer end 27 of each of the seventeenth coil 83, the eighteenth coil 84, and the nineteenth coil 85 can be sealed. In other words, the laminated insulating member 32 is used to seal the inner end 26 and the outer end 27 of each of the seventeenth coil 83, the eighteenth coil 84, and the nineteenth coil 85. side edge It is possible to seal the portion 27. As a result, the coil device 101H including the laminate coil 30H according to the third modification of the second embodiment can suppress deterioration of characteristics caused by a short circuit between the coil and the core.
