ELECTRONIC CELL IN HALF H-BRIDGE FOR MODULAR ASSEMBLY OF ELECTRICAL POWER CONVERTERS

Abstract

This invention relates to an electronic cell with two power transistors connected in a half-H-bridge topology. The cell also contains the respective circuits for its power supplies, protection circuits, control circuits, and switching oscillation suppression circuits, selected and arranged in such a way that the power cell is compact and exhibits high-quality current and voltage signals at its output. The power cell can be used as a basic building block for assembling single-phase, multi-phase, and even multi-level power converters in a modular fashion, for different types of electrical loads, passive or active.
