Description

BACKGROUND TITLE

[0001] The present invention generally relates to jewelry.

[0002] Clasps for jewelry have been described in the patent literature. For example, U.S. Pat. No. 9,770,077 discloses a clasp that enables a user to join the ends of one or more strands of jewelry without having to retrofit the jewelry. Chain systems are also known. For example, US20140150496 discloses a necklace chain that can be removably secured to at least one finger ring to form a pendant.

[0003] However, prior art systems are lacking in the ability to secure multiple rings to be worn on a single finger or more than one finger.SUMMARY OF INVENTION

[0004] Therefore, the present invention provides improved clasps and chains for securing rings. A clasp and chain system for securing a plurality of rings is provided in a form that does not meaningfully detract from the appearance of the jewelry. A kit is also provided with different size clasps and chains for securing rings according to their number and gauge.

[0005] According to an aspect of the present invention, a device for securing a plurality of ring, comprising: two semi-elliptical members made of a solid metallic material; a notch arranged to receive a hinge member; and a hinge member, wherein the hinge member is arranged for insertion behind a plurality of rings. According to another aspect of the present invention, there is provided a chain configured to extend from a first notch on a first clasp to a second notch on a second clasp.BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
