Abstract
Description
[0001] CIRCULATORY COMPRESSION BELT TO REDUCE GRADE I, II AND III CELLULITE.
[0002] DESCRIPTIVE MEMORY
[0003] Field of application of the invention
[0004] This invention relates to circulatory compression belts to reduce mild or grade I, moderate or grade II and severe or grade III cellulite, which allow maintaining a fixed position avoiding unwanted slipping and compression.
[0005] Background of the invention
[0006] Between 95% and 98% of women worldwide experience cellulite at some point in their lives, affecting their physical and mental health. For many years, women have suffered from this disorder without finding a solution to stop or improve the uneven appearance of their skin. The physiological and anatomical changes include increased water content (edema), changes in local microcirculation, abnormal collagen structures, and increased adipocyte volume. Currently, there are different treatments to address this disorder, such as physical agents, pharmacological treatments, surgical treatments, and phytotherapeutics. To date, these treatments have not achieved satisfactory results, as they focus on addressing only one of the causes of cellulite.
[0007] Cellulitis, as clinically defined, is an acute bacterial infection of the skin that spreads to the subcutaneous tissue. It presents as a hot, painful, red plaque. This term is used in aesthetics, but it should not be confused with "cosmetic cellulitis," which corresponds to PEFE.
[0008] SUBSTITUTE SHEET (RULE 26) Cellulite, known as an aesthetic condition, has been described with various names, but finally in 1977 Binazzi defined it as edematous fibrosclerotic panniculopathy (EFSP) and this has been the term most widely used.
[0009] It is important to note that the main problem observed in all patients is the alteration of venous and / or lymphatic microcirculation, generating interstitial edema. Excess adipose tissue contributes to this alteration by compressing the microcirculation, but it is not the cause of its development. As cellulite progresses, vascular stasis can lead to consequences such as pain, compression of nerve endings, and difficulty walking.
[0010] The cellulite severity scale explains how cellulite develops, beginning with the irregular appearance caused by edema and progressing to the most severe stage of cellulite.
[0011] The following table, developed by the authors, classifies the degrees of severity of cellulite, as Grade I (mild), Grade II (moderate) and Grade III (severe):
[0012] Table 1: Degree of severity of cellulite In this context, the systems, devices, belts, and methods used to reduce cellulite in its various degrees do not improve venous flow and return, or do so insufficiently.
[0013] In accordance with the above, there is a need in the state of the art for circulatory compression belts to attenuate mild or grade I cellulite, moderate or grade II and severe or grade III cellulite, which allow maintaining a fixed position avoiding unwanted slipping and compression; where the lymphatic and venous systems benefit, generating an increase in venous flow velocity, reducing distension of the venous wall, venous hypertension of the lower extremities and the symptoms of a swollen limb, favoring venous return, ultimately allowing improved venous flow and return.
[0014] When reviewing and analyzing the state of the art, among the closest documents related to the subject of the present invention, we can mention the Chilean Patent Application for Invention No. e 202101997, Patent No. eof Registration 50563, which describes a device for the treatment of cellulite comprising suction massage means, a quadrangular body (3) with a plurality of support elements (31), at least one per vertex of the body, wherein said support elements (31) end in a rounded point (32) which is in contact with the skin (5) to be treated and that on the quadrangular body (3) a plurality of laser emitters (1) are housed, while in the support elements (31) a plurality of current emitting electrodes (2) are housed, at least one per support element; and where said electrodes (2) define a region (4) on the skin (5) of combined action of the emission (41) of the plurality of lasers (1) and the currents generated by the electrodes (2); where the laser emitters (1) are laser diodes with a wavelength between 640-690 nm;and where the current emitted by the electrodes is at high voltage and low intensity with a frequency range between 450 and 950 Hz. This document, in short, discloses a device for the treatment of cellulite that comprises a plurality of technical elements that end in a rounded tip, which is in contact with the skin to be treated, but does not present the technical elements of the technology under study, presenting a technical application different from the invention of the present application, which fails to solve the technical problem thereof.;
[0015] On the other hand, document CN110338481 reveals a pair of shaping tights and a production process for the same; the shaping tights comprise a trouser body, trouser legs, a crotch portion, first magnetic strips, spliced trouser and sock opening positions, a roll-up outer edge of the trouser waistband, an elastic waistband, an upper zipper, a lower zipper, a second magnetic strip, a trouser waistband, and a waterproof fabric. This document corresponds to a technical solution distinct from the present invention, which is why it fails to solve the technical problem posed in this invention, since it only reveals shaping tights.
[0016] Continuing with the state of the art, subject matter of the present invention, document US2012208680 discloses a device that reduces or eliminates varicose veins and cellulite in the legs, but does not present the technical elements of the present invention, which is why it should not constitute an obstacle to it.
[0017] Finally, it is possible to cite as state of the art in the technical field of the present invention, document US2015190303, which discloses devices and methods for reducing the appearance of cellulite on human skin. The device includes a belt having a tactile gripping portion for detachably adhering to the skin. When the belt is connected to a reciprocating vibrating massage device, the tactile belt grips the skin preventing substantial relative movement between the belt and the skin. In the continuous reciprocating movement of the belt along a path and with a frequency, the outer layers of the skin are forcibly moved relative to the subcutaneous tissue layers, which disrupts, stretches and / or tears the fat / collagen projections that extend from the subcutaneous tissue into the tissue, outer layers of the skin thus reducing the appearance of cellulite on the skin. This document does not present the technical means of this invention and does not solve the technical problem addressed by it, since it only presents a minimum conceptual scope with respect to the present invention.
[0018] Ultimately, as can be seen in the previously cited and described state of the art, there is no effective solution to the technical problem posed, related to maintaining a fixed position avoiding unwanted slipping and compression; where the lymphatic and venous systems benefit, generating an increase in the velocity of venous flow, reducing distension of the venous wall, venous hypertension of the lower extremities and the symptoms of a swollen extremity, favoring venous return, ultimately allowing improved venous flow and return.
[0019] Objectives and summary description of the invention
[0020] The main objectives of the present invention consist of circulatory compression belts to attenuate mild or grade I, moderate or grade II and severe or grade III cellulite, which allow maintaining a fixed position avoiding unwanted sliding and compression; where the lymphatic and venous systems benefit, generating an increase in the speed of venous flow, reducing distension of the venous wall, venous hypertension of the lower extremities and the symptoms of a swollen extremity favoring venous return, ultimately allowing improved venous flow and return.
[0021] Detailed description of the invention
[0022] The basis of this invention patent application is circulatory compression belts to reduce mild or grade I, moderate or grade II and severe or grade III cellulite, which allow for maintaining a fixed position, avoiding unwanted slippage and compression.

This benefits the lymphatic and venous systems, generating an increase in venous flow velocity, reducing venous wall distension, venous hypertension in the lower extremities, and the symptoms of swollen limbs. This promotes venous return, ultimately improving venous flow and return.
