Abstract
Description
DRIVING APPARATUS FOR BLENDER AND JUICER IN ONE
[0001] The present invention relates to a driving apparatus for a juicer and a blender in one. More specifically, the present invention relates to a driving apparatus for a juicer and a blender in one, capable of operating a juicer for extracting juice of fruits or vegetables, and a blender for mixing, grinding, etc. food or other ingredients with one driving motor.
[0002] In general, a blender is an apparatus for grinding and mixing ingredients such as vegetables, fruits, whole grains, etc. by a blender blade that rotates at a high speed, and a juicer is a kitchen apparatus for making juice by squeezing fruits or vegetables, etc. such as tomatoes, kiwis, strawberries, etc. by pressing the ingredients between a juicing screw that rotates at a relatively low speed.
[0003] Both the blender and juicer are operated by a rotational movement rotating the blender blade or the juicer screw with a motor, and thus it is possible to manufacture an apparatus combining the two into a single apparatus for dual use. In other words, the blender and the juicer may be operated as a single apparatus, by mounting a blender container with a blender blade for grinding or a juicer container with a juicer screw for juicing on a single main body with a driving shaft protrudingly formed to rotate by a motor. However, the motor needs to be driven at a relatively high speed to operate the blender, and the motor needs to be driven at a relatively low speed to operate the juicer.
[0004] Korean Patent No. 10-2350483 discloses the structure of a juicer combined with a blender, which comprises two motors for a juicer and a blender, respectively, to be used as a blender by coupling a blender blade of a blender container to an end of a driving shaft of a first motor among the two motors, and to be used as a juicer by coupling a juicer screw of a juicer container to an output shaft decelerated through a gear box interlocked with a driving shaft of a second motor.
[0005] According to the prior art, a driving apparatus for a blender and a juicer in one consists of two driving motors and thus needs to comprise a housing for accommodating each driving motor, each of which being provided with a driving part coupled to a driving shift. Thus, the interior of the driving apparatus is complex and the assembly process is complicated, resulting in low productivity and high production costs. Furthermore, such configuration increases the volume and weight of the juicer combined with the blender.
[0006] In addition, the driving apparatus for blender and juicer in one needs to be mounted on a printed circuit board of a control circuit for controlling each of the two driving motors, which not only increases the cost of the control means due to the complexity of the control circuit, but also has the disadvantage of cumbersome operation because the driving motor needs to be operated through a separate switch every time the blender container and the juicer container are replaced.
[0007] Therefore, the present invention suggests a driving apparatus for a juicer and a blender in one with a novel structure, which by comprising one driving motor, has a simpler structure, reduces the volume and weight of the apparatus, is easy to operate, and reduces production costs.
[0008] It is an object of the present invention to provide a driving apparatus for a juicer and a blender in one with a novel structure which can be used as a juicer and a blender in one by comprising one driving motor.
[0009] It is another object of the present invention to provide a driving apparatus for a juicer and a blender in one with a novel structure capable of reducing the volume and weight thereof.
[0010] It is yet another object of the present invention to provide a driving apparatus for a juicer and a blender in one with a novel structure capable of reducing manufacturing costs.
[0011] It is still another object of the present invention to provide a driving apparatus for a juicer and a blender in one with a novel structure which is easy to operate.
[0012] The above and other inherent objects of the present invention may all be easily achieved by the description of the present invention described below.
[0013] A driving apparatus for a juicer and a blender in one according to the present invention, comprises: a main body 10; a motor assembly 20 coupled to a lower part of the main body 10 for rotating a motor shaft 50 in which a first pulley 80 is installed; a first output shaft 60 in which a second pulley 81 fastened to the first pulley 80 by a belt 90 to rotate is installed, and rotates at a high speed interlocking with the rotation of the motor shaft 50; and a second output shaft 70 decelerated by a plurality of reduction gears that rotates interlocking with the motor shaft 50, and is installed in an exterior of the first output shaft 60 to rotate at a low speed interlocking with the rotation of the motor shaft 50, characterized in that a blender blade of a blender container rotates at a high speed by a blender blade coupling part 61 at an upper end of the first output shaft 60, and a juicer screw of a juicer container rotates at a low speed by a juicer screw coupling part 71 at an upper end of the second output shaft 70.
[0014] In the present invention, a motor shaft gear part 501 formed in the motor shaft 50 is engaged with one of the plurality of reduction gears to rotate together.
[0015] In the present invention, a pinion gear coupled to an upper end of the motor shaft 50 is engaged with one of the plurality of reduction gears to rotate together.
[0016] In the present invention, the blender blade coupling part 61 is formed by protruding upwardly from an upper end of the second output shaft 70.
[0017] In the present invention, the blender blade coupling part 61 is located inside the second output shaft 70.
[0018] In the present invention, a shaft insertion hole 701 into which the first output shaft 60 is inserted is formed in the second output shaft 70, and an output gear part 702 formed in an outer circumferential surface of the second output shaft 70 is engaged with the reduction gear to rotate.
[0019] The present invention provides a simple structure of a driving device by using one drive motor to rotate a juicing screw of a juicer container and a blender blade of a blender container at low and high speeds, respectively, thereby reducing the weight of the product and providing convenience of use.
[0020] In addition, the present invention reduces the manufacturing cost of the power transmission device by improving productivity by shortening the assembly process through simplification of the assembly parts.
[0021] Furthermore, the present invention simplifies the motor drive control circuit by applying one driving motor, reduces the number of circuit parts mounted on the printed circuit board, thereby reducing manufacturing costs, and provides convenience of use by enabling the use of a blender and juicer in one by operating one driving motor by a single operation.

[0028] Hereinafter, the present invention will be explained in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[0029] Fig. 1 is a perspective view of a driving apparatus for a juicer and a blender in one according to the present invention, Fig. 2 is an exploded perspective view of a driving apparatus for a juicer and a blender in one according to the present invention, Fig. 3 is a cut-away perspective view of a driving apparatus for a juicer and a blender in one according to the present invention, Fig. 4 is a cross-sectional view of a driving apparatus for a juicer and a blender in one according to the present invention, Fig. 5 is a plan view of a main body 10 of a driving apparatus for a juicer and a blender in one according to the present invention, and Fig. 6 is a plan view of a middle housing 30 of a driving apparatus for a juicer and a blender in one according to the present invention.
[0030] As illustrated in Figs. 1 to 6, the driving apparatus for a juicer and a blender in one according to the present invention comprises a main body 10, a motor assembly 20, a middle housing 30, and a cover 40.
[0031] The main body 10 comprises a bottom part 101, a side wall part 102 formed by protruding upwardly from a periphery of the bottom part 101, and a motor coupling part 103 formed by protruding downwardly from the bottom part 101. The planar shape of the bottom part 101 is illustrated as an ellipse in Fig. 5, but the shape is not necessarily limited thereto, and various shapes can be applied according to design needs.
[0032] The motor assembly 20 is coupled to a lower part of the bottom part 101. The motor assembly 20 comprises a stator 21, a rotor 22 to which a motor shaft 50 is coupled, the rotor 22 rotating inside the stator 21, and a motor cover 23 coupled to a lower part of the stator 21. A flange-shaped flange part 103A is formed on the periphery of a lower end of the motor coupling part 103 of the main body 10. A flange-shaped cover flange 23A is formed on the periphery of an upper end of the motor cover 23. The motor assembly 20 is coupled to the main body 10 by having a plurality of bolts B vertically running through the stator 21 fastened by a nut N through the flange part 103A and the cover flange 23A. Figs. 1 to 4 illustrate that the motor cover 23 is coupled to a lower part of the stator 21, but the motor cover 23 may accommodate the stator 21 and the cover flange 23A of the motor cover 23 may be directly coupled to the motor coupling part 103 of the main body 10. A connector part C is installed at one side of the motor coupling part 103 to be electrically connected to the printed circuit board (not illustrated) installed on an upper part of the stator 21 and to be connected to an external power.
[0033] The middle housing 30 is coupled to an upper part of the main body 10. The middle housing 30 includes a ceiling part 301, and a middle side wall part 302 extending downwardly along a periphery of the ceiling part 301. The middle side wall part 302 has a structure that is vertically connected to the side wall part 102 of the main body 10. Accordingly, a first space S1 isolated from the outside is formed on an upper part of the bottom part 101, a lower part of the ceiling part 301, a side wall part 102, and the interior of the middle side wall part 302.
[0034] The cover 40 comprises a cover main body 401 formed to cover an upper part of the middle housing 30. A second space S2 isolated from the outside is formed on a lower part of the cover main body 401 and an upper part of the middle housing 30. A blender container with a blender blade or a juicer container with a juicer screw may be selectively coupled to an upper part of the cover main body 401.
[0035] The motor shaft 50 is coupled to the rotor 22 to rotate together. The motor shaft 50 is coupled through the center of the rotor 22 in a vertical direction of the rotor 22. The motor shaft 50 protrudes upwardly to the rotor 22, and penetrates through a bottom part motor shaft through-hole 104A formed in the bottom part 101 and a ceiling part motor shaft through-hole 301A formed in the ceiling part 301. A motor shaft gear part 501 for rotating a first reduction gear 31 is formed in a gear shape while contacting the first reduction gear 31 at an upper end of the motor shaft 50. In another embodiment, the motor shaft gear part 501 may be a pinion gear (not illustrated) coupled to an upper end of the motor shaft 50.
[0036] A first output shaft 60 is installed parallel to the motor shaft 50 at one side of the motor shaft 50. A second output shaft 70 is installed in a form enclosing an upper part of the first output shaft 60, and rotates independently of the first output shaft 60. The first output shaft 60 rotates at a high speed, and the second output shaft 70 rotates at a relatively lower speed than the first output shaft 60. Accordingly, when the blender container is coupled to an upper part of the cover 40, the blender blade is coupled to an upper end of the first output shaft 60, so that the first output shaft 60 and the blender blade rotate at a high speed, and the second output shaft 70 idles at a low speed. When the juicer container is coupled to an upper part of the cover 40, the juicer screw is coupled to a juicer screw coupling part 71 formed at an upper end of the second output shaft 70, so that the second output shaft 70 and the juicer screw rotate together at a low speed, and the first output shaft 60 idles at a high speed. In other words, when the motor assembly 20 is in operation, the first output shaft 60 interlocking with the motor shaft 50 is always rotating at a high speed, and the second output shaft 70 interlocking with the motor shaft 50 is always rotating at a low speed.
[0037] The first output shaft 60 is installed parallel to the motor shaft 50 at one side of the motor shaft 50, and rotates interlocked with each other at the same speed as the motor shaft 50 or at an accelerated speed. To this end, in the first space S1, a first pulley 80 is installed on the motor shaft 50 and a second pulley 81 is installed on the first output shaft 60 to rotate together with the motor shaft 50 and the first output shaft 60, respectively. The first pulley 80 and the second pulley 81 are connected to each other by a belt 90 to rotate together. At an upper end of the first output shaft 60, as illustrated in Fig. 2, a blender blade coupling part 61 to be coupled to the blender blade is installed and coupled to a screw part 601 formed at an upper end of the first output shaft 60. Or, in another embodiment, the blender blade coupling part 61 is integrally formed with the first output shaft 60 at an upper end of the first output shaft 60. The blender blade coupling part 61 may be formed protruding upwardly from an upper end of the second output shaft 70, or may be located inside the second output shaft 70.
[0038] The second output shaft 70 is a sleeve-shaped shaft having a shaft insertion hole 701 therein in a vertical direction. A gear-shaped output gear part 702 is formed in an exterior of a lower part of the second output shaft 70. The output gear part 702 receives a decelerated speed of rotation derived from the motor shaft 50, allowing the second output shaft 70 to rotate at a low speed.
[0039] The first pulley 80 and the second pulley 81 are located in the first space S1. The first pulley 80 is a driving pulley coupled to the motor shaft 50 to rotate together, and the second pulley 81 is a driven pulley coupled to the first output shaft 60. Since the first output shaft 60 rotates at a high speed, the diameter of the second pulley 81 is preferably smaller than the diameter of the first pulley 80 in order to accelerate faster than the motor shaft 50. In another embodiment, the first output shaft 60 is not necessarily a pulley-belt structure because the first output shaft 60 needs to rotate at a high speed interlocking with the motor shaft 50. The motor shaft 50 and the first output shaft 60 may be interlocked with each other by interlocking means other than pulley belts, as gears, chain-sprockets, etc.
[0040] In the second space S2 is located the upper end of the motor shaft 50 penetrating through the ceiling part motor shaft through-hole 301A formed in the ceiling part 301 of the middle housing 30. The motor shaft gear part 501 on the upper end of the motor shaft 50 is connected to the first reduction gear 31 and a second reduction gear 32 in turn, and the second reduction gear 32 is engaged with the output gear part 702 of the second output shaft 70 to rotate together. The present invention is described using two reduction gears, the first reduction gear 31 and the second reduction gear 32, as an example, but the number of reduction gears is not necessarily limited thereto, and various numbers of reduction gears can be applied according to the reduction ratio, torque, or structural characteristics.
[0041] Referring to Figs. 3 and 4, the first reduction gear 31 is installed in the second space S2, and has a structure in which a first lower gear 311 and a first upper gear 312 are located vertically. The second reduction gear 32 has a structure in which a second upper gear 321 and a second lower gear 322 are located vertically. The motor shaft gear part 501 rotates while contacting the first lower gear 311, and the first lower gear 311 rotates together with the first upper gear 312 which is smaller than the first lower gear 311, so that the first upper gear 312 is decelerated from the rotation speed of the motor shaft 50. The first upper gear 312 rotates while contacting the second upper gear 321, and the second lower gear 322 rotates together with the second upper gear 321 having a smaller size than the second upper gear 321, so that the output gear part 702 which rotates while contacting the second lower gear 322 rotates at a decelerated speed. Accordingly, the second output shaft 70 integrally formed with the output gear part 702 rotates at a lower speed than the motor shaft 50.
[0042] A first bearing coupling part 104 is formed protruding around the bottom part motor shaft through-hole 104A formed in the bottom part 101 of the main body 10, and a first bearing 82A is installed inside the protruding portion. The first bearing 82A supports the motor shaft 50 to be rotatable.
[0043] At one side of the first bearing coupling part 104 of the bottom part 101, a second bearing coupling part 105 is formed on a lower end of the first output shaft 60. A second bearing 82B installed on the second bearing coupling part 105 is coupled to a lower end of the first output shaft 60 to support the first output shaft 60 to be rotatable.
[0044] A third bearing coupling part 231 is formed in a middle portion of the motor cover 23, and a third bearing 82C is installed on the third bearing coupling part 231. The third bearing 82C supports a lower end of the motor shaft 50 to be rotatable.
[0045] A fourth bearing coupling part 301C is formed around the ceiling part motor shaft through-hole 301A formed in the ceiling part 301 of the middle housing 30. A fourth bearing 82D is installed on the fourth bearing coupling part 301C. The fourth bearing 82D is coupled to an upper part of the motor shaft 50 to support the motor shaft 50 to be rotatable. The fourth bearing coupling part 301C and the fourth bearing 82D are illustrated as being located in the first space S1, but may be located in the second space S2.
[0046] A fifth bearing coupling part 301D formed by protruding downwardly is formed around a first output side through-hole 301B formed in the ceiling part 301. A fifth bearing 82E is installed on the fifth bearing coupling part 301D. The fifth bearing 82E is coupled to a middle portion of the first output shaft 60 to support the first output shaft 60 to be rotatable. The fifth bearing coupling part 301D and the fifth bearing 82E are located in the first space S1.
[0047] A sixth bearing coupling part 301E formed by protruding upwardly is formed around a first output side through-hole 301B formed in the ceiling part 301. A sixth bearing 82F is installed on the sixth bearing coupling part 301E. The sixth bearing 82F is coupled to a lower end of the second output shaft 70 to support the second output shaft 70 to be rotatable. The sixth bearing coupling part 301E and the sixth bearing 82F are located in the second space S2.
[0048] A seventh bearing coupling part 301F is formed to protrude upwardly at one side of the ceiling part motor shaft through-hole 301A of the ceiling part 301. A seventh bearing 82G is installed on the seventh bearing coupling part 301F, and the seventh bearing 82G is coupled to a lower protruding part 31B protruding downwardly of the first reduction gear 31 to support the first reduction gear 31 to be rotatable.
[0049] An eighth bearing coupling part 301G is formed to protrude upwardly at one side of the seventh bearing coupling part 301F of the ceiling part 301. An eighth bearing 82H is installed on the eighth bearing coupling part 301G, and the eighth bearing 82H is coupled to a lower protruding part 32B protruding downwardly of the second reduction gear 32 to support the second reduction gear 32 to be rotatable.
[0050] A ninth bearing coupling part 401A is formed to protrude downwardly around a second output shaft penetrating part 402 formed in the cover main body 401. A ninth bearing 82I is installed on the ninth bearing coupling part 401A. The ninth bearing 82I is coupled to a middle portion of the second output shaft 70 to support the second output shaft 70 to be rotatable.
[0051] An upper protruding part 31A formed by protruding upwardly of the first reduction gear 31 is supported in its rotation by a tenth bearing 82J. The tenth bearing 82J is installed on a tenth bearing coupling part 401B formed by protruding downwardly from a lower part of the cover main body 401.
