Description

Insulator

[0001] The present invention relates to an insulator.

[0002] First, there is the applicant's registered patent No. 10-0343719 (Patent Document 1). According to this patent, a vacuum adiabatic panel is manufactured, embedded in the wall of a refrigerator, and the exterior of the vacuum adiabatic panel is finished with a separate molded Styrofoam material. This method eliminates the need for foaming and improves insulation performance. However, this method has the drawback of increasing costs and complicating the manufacturing process.

[0003] As another example, there have been attempts to fabricate the entire refrigerator wall as a single piece of insulation. For example, U.S. Patent Publication No. US2040226956A1 (Patent Document 2) discloses a method for providing vacuum-insulated refrigerator structures. However, achieving a practical level of insulation by providing sufficient vacuum in the refrigerator walls is challenging. Specifically, this method suffers from several problems, including the difficulty in preventing heat transfer at the connection between the outer and inner cases, which have different temperatures, the difficulty in maintaining a stable vacuum, and the difficulty in preventing deformation of the case due to negative vacuum pressure.

[0004] In addition, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2011-247534 (Patent Document 3) discloses an insulation box that simplifies the bonding work and improves productivity when installing and preparing multiple vacuum insulation panels.

[0005] Patent Document 3 discloses an insulating case of a refrigerator comprising an inner case and an outer case and a plurality of vacuum insulation panels provided between them, and forming a plurality of wall sections of a refrigerator body, wherein the inner case is formed by combining a plurality of inner case partitions into which the entire inner case is divided, and at the same time, a plurality of vacuum insulation panels are formed in a shape corresponding to each inner case partition, and each of these vacuum insulation panels and each of the inner case partitions is installed.

[0006] Conventional insulators have a problem in that the surface becomes uneven due to the vacuum pressure applied to the vacuum space (so-called "woolly phenomenon"), which can cause deformation of the insulator, and this deformation can lead to assembly failure when each insulator is assembled together. When the above-mentioned "woolly phenomenon" is exposed inside the room, there is a problem in that it is not aesthetically pleasing.

[0007] The first plate is thinner than the second plate, and there is a risk of damage or corrosion if exposed to the inner surface.

[0008] During the manufacturing process of the vacuum insulation module, the external shape of the first plate may become distorted due to vacuum pressure, and if exposed to the interior, the external design may not be good.

[0009] Development of a structure capable of preventing high-temperature exposure of the insulation is required.

[0124] The insulator (10) of the present invention can be applied to a refrigerator (1). The refrigerator (1) may include a main body (2) provided with a cavity (9) capable of storing stored items, and a door (3) provided to open and close the main body (2). The refrigerator may include a compressor (4) that compresses the refrigerant. The refrigerator may include a condenser (5) that condenses the compressed refrigerant. The condenser (5) may be connected to an expander (6) that expands the condensed refrigerant.

[0125] In Fig. 5, an example is shown in which a casing (1111) of the first embodiment is provided in an insulator (110, 210, 310).

[0126] For example, the casing (1111) may be provided on one surface of the insulator (110, 210, 310). The casing (1111) may be provided to cover at least a portion of one surface or the inner surface of the first plate (111, 311). The casing (1111) may include a portion that is at least partially bent and connected to one side of the first plate (111, 311). For example, the casing (1111) may include a portion that is at least partially bent and connected to an edge of the first plate (111, 311).

[0127] In the present invention, since the first plate (111, 311) and the casing (1111) form a space inside the main body, the first plate (111, 311) and the casing (1111) may be referred to together as an internal casing.

[0128] The casing (1111) can be provided on the outside of the vacuum insulation part (115, 315).

[0129] The casing (1111) may have at least two intersecting surfaces. The casing (1111) may have a portion that is bent at at least two portions. At least two surfaces of the casing (1111) may be formed as a single member. In the present invention, examples in which at least two surfaces of the casing (1111) are formed as a single member and examples in which at least two surfaces are formed as separate members are illustrated and described.

[0130] The casing (1111) may have a first surface (1111a), and a second surface (1111b) and a third surface (1111c) that are bent in an intersecting direction on both sides of the first surface (1111a).

[0131] The casing (1111) may be provided with a block cover portion (1111d) that covers the block.

[0132] The block cover portion (1111d) may be provided, for example, at a corner between the first surface (1111a) and the second surface (1111b).

[0133] Optionally, the casing (1111) may be provided with a portion for connecting to the component.

[0134] For example, a component connection portion may be provided on one side of the casing (1111). The component connection portion may be provided in a gap between one side of the component and an insulator (110, 210, 310). Accordingly, in the gap between one side of the component and the insulator (110, 210, 310), exposure of the insulator (110, 210, 310) can be prevented and surface damage of the insulator (110, 210, 310) can be prevented. The component connected to the component connection portion (1111b', 1111b", 1111c', 1111c") may be, for example, at least one of a drawer guide and a drawer.

[0135] For example, the component connecting portion (1111b', 1111b", 1111c', 1111c") may be provided on at least one side of the second surface (1111b) and the third surface (1111c).

[0136] FIGS. 6A and 6B illustrate examples in which component connecting portions (1111b', 1111b", 1111c', 1111c") are provided on the second surface (1111b) and the third surface (1111c). The component connecting portions may be provided, for example, with first component connecting portions (1111b', 1111c') and second component connecting portions (1111b", 1111c") that are respectively connected to two components. The first component connecting portions (1111b', 1111c') may have a first side portion (1111b1) and a second side portion (1111b2) that are formed in a direction intersecting each other. The second component connecting portion (1111b", 1111c") may also have a third side portion (1111b3) and a fourth side portion (1111b4) formed in an intersecting direction.

[0137] The first component connecting portion (1111b', 1111c') is illustrated as an example in which the first side portion (1111b1) and the second side portion (1111b2) can be connected to one side (70a-1) of the first component (70a) and the other side (70a-2) intersecting the one side, respectively. The second component connecting portion (1111b", 1111c") can be connected to the third side portion (1111b3) and the fourth side portion (1111b4) to one side of the second component (70b) and the other side intersecting the one side, respectively.

[0138] By this structure, the portion of the casing (1111) around the component connecting portion (1111b', 1111b", 1111c', 1111c") can prevent one side of the insulator (110, 210, 310) from being exposed near one side of the component (70a, 70b).

[0139] In addition, the component connection portion may be formed with an area that is not connected to the component on the outside of at least one of the first to fourth side portions (1111b1, 1111b2, 1111b3, 1111b4). This can reduce heat transfer from the component to the insulator (110, 210, 310). That is, there is an effect of reducing heat bridge from the component to the insulator (110, 210, 310).

[0140] Optionally, the casing (1111) may be provided with a portion formed by cutting at least a portion thereof so as not to connect to the component.

[0141] An example is shown in which a first surface (1111a) of a casing (1111) is provided with a cut portion (1111a1) formed by cutting at least a portion thereof so as not to be connected to a component. The cut portion (1111a1) may be formed on one side of the first surface (1111a).

[0142] FIG. 7b illustrates an example in which a block cover portion (1111d) covers a block (65). The block cover portion (1111d) may be provided at least between the first surface (1111a) and the second surface (1111b) and between the first surface (1111a) and the third surface (1111c).

[0143] The block (65) may be composed of, for example, a non-vacuum insulator. The block (65) may be composed by filling the interior of the block cover portion (1111d) with PU foam and then foaming it.

[0144] The block cover portion (1111d) may be formed between the first surface (1111a) and the second surface (1111b), or the block cover portion (1111d) may be formed in a shape bent by a predetermined angle with respect to at least one of the first surface (1111a) and the second surface (1111b). The block cover portion (1111d) may be formed between the first surface (1111a) and the second surface (1111b), in a shape bent by a predetermined angle with respect to each of the first surface (1111a) and the second surface (1111b).

[0145] The block cover portion (1111d) may be formed between the first surface (1111a) and the third surface (1111c), or the block cover portion (1111d) may be formed in a shape bent by a predetermined angle with respect to at least one of the first surface (1111a) and the third surface (1111c). The block cover portion (1111d) may be formed between the first surface (1111a) and the third surface (1111c), in a shape bent by a predetermined angle with respect to each of the first surface (1111a) and the third surface (1111c).

[0146] The block cover portion (1111d) can be arranged to be in close contact with one surface of the block (65). The first surface (1111a) and the second surface (1111b) connected to the block cover portion (1111d) are connected to the first plate (111, 311) of the third insulator (110, 210, 310) and the first plate (111, 311) of the first insulator (110, 210, 310), respectively.

[0147] The block cover portion (1111d) may be provided on at least one side of the casing (1111).

[0148] As the casing (1111) has a block cover (1111d), cold air or moisture transmitted through the block can be blocked. Optionally, the block (65) can be protected from external force by the block cover (1111d).

[0149] Optionally, the casing (1111) may have a coupling side portion (1111a2, 1111a3) that is coupled to a component. For example, the coupling side portion (1111a2, 1111a3) may be inserted and coupled between the component and the first plate (111, 311) of the insulator (110, 210, 310). The component coupled to the coupling side portion (1111a2, 1111a3) may be exemplified as a multi-duct cover (72) and a deco bracket (73) in FIGS. 8b and 8c, respectively.

[0150] Referring to FIGS. 8a to 8c, an example of a casing (1111) is shown, in which a first coupling side portion (1111a2) is provided on one side of the casing (1111) and a second coupling side portion (1111a3) is provided on the other side spaced from the one side.

[0151] The first coupling side (1111a2) can be inserted between the first plate (111, 311) and one side of the multi-duct cover (72) on one side of the casing (1111).

[0152] The first coupling side (1111a2) has a point connected to one side of the multi-duct cover (72), and extends further into the multi-duct cover (72) than the connecting point.

[0153] FIG. 8b illustrates an example in which a multi-duct cover (72) includes a first cover portion (72a) extending in the longitudinal direction of the first insulation body (110) and a second cover portion (72b) extending by bending therefrom. A cover-joining side portion (72b-1) may be provided on one side of the second cover portion (72b). An example in which the first joining side portion (1111a2) is inserted between the first plate (111, 311) and the cover-joining side portion (72b-1) of the multi-duct cover (72) is illustrated.

[0154] The second coupling side (1111a3) can be inserted between the first plate (111, 311) and one side of the deco bracket (73) on the other side of the casing (1111).

[0155] The second coupling side (1111a3) has a point connected to one side of the deco bracket (73), and extends further inward of the deco bracket (73) than the connecting point.

[0156] Referring to FIG. 8c, an example of a deco bracket (73) is shown, which includes, for example, a first part (73a) that is supported externally by a second plate (312), a second part (73b) that is supported by a bent part (312c) of the second plate (312), a joint support part (73c) that jointly supports a second joint side part (1111a3) of a casing (1111a), and a third part (73d) that supports a side part of the first plate.

[0157] Referring to Fig. 8c, the second coupling side (1111a3) has a point connected to the coupling support end (73c-1) of the coupling support portion (73c) of the deco bracket (73), and an example is shown in which the point is extended further inward of the coupling support portion (73c) of the deco bracket (73) than the point of connection.

[0158] Figure 9 shows an insulator (110, 210, 310) equipped with a casing (2111) of the second embodiment.

[0159] The casing (2111) in Fig. 9 has some differences from the previous embodiment in the structure of the component connecting portions (2111b', 2111c') and the joint side. These differences are described below.

[0160] The component connecting portions (2111b', 2111c') in FIG. 9 are different from the component connecting portions (2111b', 2111c') including four sides in FIG. 6a and FIG. 6b in that they include two sides formed in a direction that intersects each other.

[0161] Figure 9 illustrates a component connecting portion (2111b', 2111c') having a first side portion and a second side portion.

[0162] The component connecting portion (2111b', 2111c') may include at least one of the first and second side portions. Near at least one of the first and second side portions of the component connecting portion (2111b', 2111c'), a portion of the casing (2111) may prevent exposure of one side of the insulator (110, 210) near one side of the component. The component connecting portion (2111b', 2111c') may have the first and second side portions, so that near the first and second side portions of the component connecting portion (2111b', 2111c'), a portion of the casing (2111) may prevent exposure of one side of the insulator (110, 210) near one side of the component.

[0163] Additionally, the component connecting portion (2111b', 2111c') may have an area formed outside of the first and / or second side portions that is not connected to the component. This can reduce heat transfer from the component to the insulator (110, 210). That is, there is an effect of reducing heat bridges from the component to the insulator (110, 210).

[0164] Referring to FIGS. 10a to 10c, the first coupling side portion (2111a2) can be coupled to one side of the multi-duct cover (72). The first coupling side portion (2111a2) has a point at which it is connected to one side of the multi-duct cover (72), but differs from FIG. 8b in that it does not extend further inward of the multi-duct cover (72) than the point at which it is connected. That is, the cover coupling side portion (72b-1) of the multi-duct cover (72) and the first coupling side portion (2111a2) can form a connection length equal to a predetermined width.

[0165] The first coupling side (2111a2) may be spaced apart from the block (65) without overlapping it.

[0166] The second coupling side (2111a3) can be coupled to one side of the deco bracket (73). The second coupling side (2111a3) has a point at which it is connected to one side of the deco bracket (73), but differs from Fig. 8c in that it does not extend further inward of the deco bracket (73) than the point at which it is connected. That is, one side of the deco bracket (73) and the second coupling side (2111a3) can form a connection length equal to a predetermined width.

[0167] The casing (2111) can form a structure that is unidirectionally coupled to the insulator (310) by having first and / or second coupling sides (2111a2, 2111a3). The unidirectional direction in which the casing (2111) is coupled to the insulator (310) can be the +x and -x directions.

[0168] Parts not described in FIGS. 9 to 10c are to be understood by referring to the contents described in the previous FIGS. 5 to 8c.

[0169] In Fig. 11, an insulator (110, 210, 310) equipped with a casing (3111) of the third embodiment is illustrated. Referring to Figs. 12a to 12d, the casing (3111) differs from the casings (1111, 2111) of Figs. 6a and 9 in that the component connecting portions (3111b', 3111c') do not have configurations such as the first to fourth side portions.

[0170] Optionally, the component connection portion (3111b', 3111c') of the casing (3111) may have a portion that connects to the component on one side, a portion that extends to one side of the component, or a portion that is spaced apart from one side of the component.

[0171] Referring to FIGS. 14a to 14c, the casing (3111) of the third embodiment will be described.

[0172] The casing (3111) can be joined to at least one component.

[0173] Referring to FIGS. 14a to 14c, examples of one side of the casing (3111) and the other side provided on another part spaced from the one side are respectively coupled to parts are illustrated.

[0174] For example, one side of the casing (3111) can be coupled to a multi-duct cover (72). The other side of the casing (3111) can be coupled to a deco bracket (73).

[0175] A first coupling side (3111a2) may be provided on one side of the casing (3111).

[0176] The surface facing the first coupling side (3111a2) of the multi-duct cover (72) may have a portion that is bent toward one side. The first coupling side (3111a2) may be coupled between the bent portion (72b-2) of the multi-duct cover (72) and the first plate (111, 311).

[0177] Due to this, one side of the casing (3111) can be joined to one side of the insulator (310). The multi-duct cover (72) forms a structure that joins one side of the casing (3111) to the first plate (111, 311), so that the casing (3111) can be firmly joined between the first plate (111, 311) and the multi-duct cover (72).

[0178] As shown in Fig. 14b, the first coupling side (3111a2) can extend to the end of the bent portion (72b-2) of the multi-duct cover (72).

[0179] A block (65) may be provided on the inside of the multi-duct cover (72). The block (65) may be provided on the side where the first insulation body (110, 210, 310) and the second insulation body (110, 210, 310) are connected.

[0180] The first coupling side (3111a2) can be arranged so that one side is spaced apart from the block (65). The first coupling side (3111a2) can be arranged so that one side does not overlap the block (65).

[0181] The first coupling side (3111a2) can be spaced apart from the block (65) to reduce heat bridges. As a result, cold air that can flow to the block (65) through the casing (3111) can be reduced, thereby improving insulation performance.

[0182] A second coupling side portion (3111a3) may be provided on the other side of the casing (3111). The deco bracket (73) may have a shape that is folded multiple times. By folding the deco bracket (73) multiple times, a longer area can be secured on one side of the first insulation body (110, 210, 310) where the block (65) can be installed. The insulation performance on one side of the first insulation body (110, 210, 310) can be improved.

[0183] The second coupling side (3111a3) can be coupled between one side of the deco bracket (73) and the first plate (111, 311). The other side of the deco bracket (73) can be coupled to the second plate.

[0184] Due to this, the other side of the casing (3111) can be joined to one side of the insulator (110, 210, 310). The deco bracket (73) forms a structure that joins the other side of the casing (3111) to the first plate (111, 311) while being joined to the second plate, so that the casing (3111) can be firmly joined between the first plate (111, 311) and the deco bracket (73).

[0185] As shown in Fig. 14c, the second coupling side (3111a3) can extend to the coupling support end (73c-1) of the coupling support portion (73c) of the deco bracket (73).

[0186] A block (65) may be provided on the inside of the deco bracket (73). The block (65) may be provided on the side of the third insulation body (110, 210, 310).

[0187] The second coupling side (3111a3) can be arranged so that one side is spaced apart from the block (65). The second coupling side (3111a3) can be arranged so that one side does not overlap the block (65).

[0188] The second coupling side (3111a3) can be spaced apart from the block (65) to reduce heat bridges. As a result, cold air that can flow to the block (65) through the casing (3111) can be reduced, thereby improving insulation performance.

[0189] Optionally, the casing (4111) may be provided with a bending support portion (4111a3) that is bent on one side and supported on the component. The casing (4111) may be provided with a joining side portion (4111a2) on the other side that is spaced apart from the one side.

[0190] In Fig. 15c, a bending support member (4111a3) supported on one side of the component is illustrated. The deco bracket (73c) may have a joining support member (73c-1) whose one side is connected to one side of the first plate (111, 311). A bending support member (4111a3) may be installed on one side of the deco bracket (73c) to support the casing (4111) and enable joining. For example, the joining support member (73c-1) may have a mounting surface (73c-2) on which the bending support member (4111a3) is mounted. The bending support member (4111a3) may be supported on a mounting surface (73c-2) provided on the joining support member (73c-1) of the deco bracket (73c).

[0191] The bending support member (4111a3) can be formed so that the end that is to be seated on the seating surface (73c-2) is bent. In this way, a structure can be formed in which one side of the deco bracket (73c) is inserted between one side of the casing (4111) and one side of the first plate (311). This makes it possible to reinforce the strength of the casing (4111).

[0192] In Fig. 15b, the coupling side (4111a2) of the casing (4111) can be coupled to a component. The component in Fig. 15b can be a lighting member (74) having a light source (74a). The lighting member (74) can include a light source (74a), a lighting bracket (74b) that supports the light source (74a) so as to be coupled to one surface of an insulator (110, 210, 310), and a bolt plate (74c) that couples the lighting bracket (74b) to the insulator (110, 210, 310).

[0193] In Fig. 15b, the coupling side (4111a2) can be extended to the inside of the lighting bracket (74b). The coupling side (4111a2) can be inserted between the bolt plate (74c) and the first plate (111, 311). As a result, the coupling side (4111a2) can be coupled to the inside of the lighting member (74) and be firmly coupled.

[0194] The coupling side (4111a2) can be arranged to be spaced apart from the block (65) arranged on the side between the insulators (110, 210, 310). The coupling side (4111a2) can be spaced apart from the block (65) to reduce heat bridges. As a result, cold air that can flow to the block (65) through the casing (4111) can be reduced, thereby improving insulation performance.

[0195] Optionally, the casing (5111) may be formed of at least two members.

[0196] Optionally, as illustrated in FIGS. 16a to 17b, the casing (5111) may have the first side (5111a) to the third side (5111c) formed as separate members.

[0197] The first surface (5111a) of the casing (5111) may have a bending side portion (5111a4) supported on at least one side of the second surface (5111b). For example, the bending side portion (5111a4) may be supported by being seated on the engaging side portion (5111d1) of the second surface (5111b). For example, the engaging side portion (5111a4) may have a bent side. FIGS. 16b and 17 illustrate examples in which the engaging side portion (5111d1) of the second surface (5111b) is arranged between the first plate (111, 311) and the engaging side portion (5111a4) of the first surface (5111a). That is, a structure is illustrated in which one side of the first surface (5111a) and one side of the second surface (5111b) are arranged between the first plate (111, 311). However, it is not necessarily limited to this, and a structure in which one side of the first surface (5111a) is arranged between one side of the second surface (5111b) and the first plate (111, 311) may also be possible.

[0198] The second side (5111b) may be provided with a block cover portion (5111d). The block cover portion (5111d) shields the block (65) to prevent damage from external force and moisture penetration. The joining side portion (5111d1) may be provided on one side of the block cover portion (5111d).

[0199] The third side (5111c) may also be formed as a separate member from the first side (5111a). The structure of the third side (5111c) may be identical to that of the second side (5111b). Therefore, the description of the third side (5111c) will be replaced with the description of the second side (5111b), and a detailed description will be omitted.

[0200] It has been described that the block cover portions (5111d, 5111e) are provided on the second surface (5111b) and / or the third surface (5111c). However, this is not necessarily limited to this, and a structure in which the block cover portion (5111d) is provided on the first surface (5111a) may also be possible. This will be described later.

[0201] In this way, since at least one of the first surface (5111a) to the third surface (5111c) of the casing (5111) is formed as a separate member, a more precise assembly tolerance can be secured when joining the casing (5111) to the insulator (110, 210, 310).

[0202] FIG. 18 shows an example of a "woolly shape" seen on the inner surface of an insulator (110) when there is no casing (1111).

[0203] In the present invention, during the exhaust process of forming a vacuum space (115) between the first plate (111) and the second plate (112), a so-called "wooli-bulli" shape appears on one side or the inner surface of the first plate (111) due to the vacuum pressure. The "wooli-bulli" shape refers to a shape in which a concave portion (111q) and a convex portion (111p) are formed or have different heights.

[0204] Among these, the connecting portion (1111bp) may be a portion that is connected to the convex portion (111p), which is a relatively convex portion of the first plate (111), on one surface or the outer surface of the casing (1111). The spacing portion (1111bq) may be a portion that is spaced apart from the peripheral portion of the convex portion (111p) of the first plate (111), on one surface or the outer surface of the casing (1111).

[0205] Optionally, air may be accommodated between the separation portion (1111bq) of the first plate (111) and one surface of the casing (1111). For example, air may be accommodated between the separation portion (1111bq) of the first plate (111) and the inner surface of the casing (1111). As illustrated in FIG. 19, air may be accommodated between the concave portion (111q) of the first plate (111) and the separation portion (1111bq) of the casing (1111). This enables the formation of an air insulation material between the first plate (111) and the casing (1111), and the insulation performance of the insulation (110) may be improved.

[0206] Figures 20 to 22 illustrate an example of a casing (6111) formed of three members.

[0207] The second surface (6111b) and / or the third surface (6111c) can be coupled to the inner surface of the insulator (110, 210). The two insulators (110, 210) in which the second surface (6111b) and the third surface (6111c) are coupled respectively form one surface (-y direction) of the main body and the other surface (+y direction) spaced parallel to the one surface. After that, the insulator (310) (+z direction) forming another surface connecting the one surface and the other surface is coupled, the first surface (6111a) of the casing (6111) is coupled to the insulator (310) (+z direction) between the second surface (6111b) and the third surface (6111c). On both sides of the first surface (6111a), block cover portions (6111d, 6111e) may be provided.

[0208] FIGS. 23 to 25 illustrate another example of a casing (5111) formed of three members.

[0209] An example in which the block cover portion (5111d) is provided on the second surface (5111b) and the third surface (5111c) rather than the first surface (5111a) is illustrated. The block cover portion (5111d) is provided on the second surface (5111b) and the third surface (5111c) respectively. After each of the insulators (110, 210, 310) is combined to form the main body, the second surface (5111b) can be combined to the insulator (110) on one surface (-y direction). The third surface (5111c) can be combined to the insulator (210) on the other surface (+y direction) spaced parallel to the one surface. The first surface (5111a) can be combined on both sides to one side of the second surface (5111b) and the third surface (5111c), respectively. In FIG. 16b and FIG. 17, the coupling relationship between the first surface (5111a) and the second surface (5111b) has been described above, and any duplicate description will be omitted.

[0210] The insulators (110, 210, 310, 410) described above are not limited to the configuration and method of the embodiments described above, and the embodiments may be configured by selectively combining all or part of each embodiment so that various modifications can be made.

[0211] It will be apparent to those skilled in the art that the present invention may be embodied in other specific forms without departing from the spirit and essential characteristics thereof. Therefore, the above detailed description should not be construed in any way as limiting but rather as illustrative. The scope of the present invention should be determined by a reasonable interpretation of the appended claims, and all modifications within the scope of equivalents of the present invention are intended to be included within the scope of the present invention.
