Abstract
Description
[0001] SOLID DETERGENT IN STRIP, WITH NATURAL ACTIVE INGREDIENTS, FORMED BY THERMAL ACTION AND EXTRUSION
[0002] DESCRIPTIVE MEMORY
[0003] TITLE AND TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[0004] The present invention relates to a compound obtained from a new natural active ingredient, a "solid detergent strip," which can be used for cleaning household dishes. The solid detergent strips are formed through thermal action and extrusion.
[0005] STATE OF THE TECHNIQUE AND PROBLEMS TO BE SOLVED
[0006] The present invention aims to solve the environmental problems posed by synthetic detergents due to their polluting compounds and the way they are mixed with fresh drinking water in their formulations. To this end, a new active ingredient composed of coconut oil, lemon peel extracts, and lemon juice was developed. This new active ingredient produces a pH of 5, which is then brought to a pH of 7 with triethanolamine. To eliminate the use of water in the formulation, the active ingredient was solidified. This active ingredient can then be incorporated directly into a sponge by creating a central cavity where the solid detergent strip is incorporated.During the research phase, looking for the best way to use the sponge with the new solid detergent strip, we observed that the sponges used with the new solid detergent did not lose their color over time. This observation led us to believe that sponges used with synthetic detergent turned brown due to the chemicals in their formulas. The new active ingredient incorporates a portion of naturally sourced sodium laureth sulfate and a lower percentage of coco betaine. While the active ingredient demonstrated very high degreasing power, the difference in removing foam from the wash would be significant. Solidification was achieved by incorporating hydroxyethylcellulose and applying heat to the active ingredient at 125°C for a period of 20 minutes. Regarding performance, tests showed that two 2-cm-long strips of solid detergent weighing 1.5 grams each, incorporated into the sponge's central cavity, can wash 50 dishes. The unique feature is that, due to its design and formula, it works best with very little water. This means that once the solid detergent strips are activated inside the sponge, the dishes and tableware only need to be wet to complete the washing process. This allows us to clean with the tap off. Tests have shown that this significantly saves water during the washing process, benefiting the environment and protecting water resources.
[0007] OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
[0008] The present invention fulfills the clear objective of creating a healthier product for the environment. Due to its composition characteristics, the washing process saves a large amount of running water, and eliminates the use of water in the formulation.
[0009] BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
[0010] Figure No. 1 belongs to the extruder which is composed of 1- reduction motor, 2- loading hopper, 3- endless screw, 4- nozzle with holes for the exit of solid detergent, 5- Pneumatic piston with cutter.
[0011] Figure No. 2 belongs to the drying tunnel composed of 1- Stainless steel tunnel, 2- Conveyor belt, 3- Cold air circulation in the opposite direction to the conveyor belt.
[0012] Figure No. 3 belongs to the sponge, 1- Polyurethane foam sponge, 2- Central cavity where the solid detergent is incorporated, 3- Solid detergent in strip.
[0013] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0014] The formulation starts by incorporating into a stainless steel container with stirring a part of Natural Coconut Oil, to this part of Coconut is incorporated 10% of Natural Lemon extracts, which are obtained directly from the Lemon Peel, which is subjected to pressure by means of an extruder. Then a part equal to that of natural coconut oil of filtered lemon juice without pulp is incorporated, this compound yields a pH 5 which is brought to neutral pH 7 by incorporating triethanolamine. From this total obtained, the same amount of Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate of natural origin and 5% of the total Coconut Betaine are incorporated, this compound is brought to 125 ° C for 20 minutes with constant stirring, after the application of heat when the compound reaches 60 ° C, 4.5% of Cereal Alcohol is incorporated which will act as a preservative within the formulation within that 4.5% of Cereal Alcohol to which 0 is incorporated.5% natural lemon extracts to replace the evaporation of aroma that could be lost in the heating process. Immediately, 0.8% of yellow powdered vegetable coloring is incorporated, then powdered hydroxyethylcellulose is incorporated in a total of 20% of the total formulation, the mixing action is 20 minutes, then it is allowed to cool until it reaches 25 ° C, at that temperature the solid detergent can enter the extruder which has a pneumatic piston with a cutter in its output nozzle to form the 2 cm long strip, the nozzle holes are 5 mm in diameter, the extruder speed to give the 2 cm length is regulated by a speed variator, once the strips are cut, they fall into the drying tunnel which has a conveyor belt in which air circulates at 10 ° C in the opposite direction.Upon exiting the drying tunnel, they are ready to be packaged in cardboard boxes. This solidification step was designed to eliminate the use of plastic packaging. The box containing the capsules also includes a sponge with a central cavity that lasts long enough to use the solid detergent strips placed in the box.

1. A natural active compound called “solid strip detergent”, CHARACTERIZED because when solidified it can be used to clean dishes and is comprised of natural coconut oil, natural lemon extracts, lemon juice (filtered without pulp), triethanolamine; 2. The composition of claim No. 1 CHARACTERIZED in that it comprises a part of natural coconut oil, lemon peel extracts (10% in relation to the part of coconut oil used), filtered natural lemon juice without pulp (1 part equal to that used of coconut oil), incorporating a pH regulator (triethanolamine) in 2.2% in relation to the total of the compound obtained, until obtaining a neutral pH 7; 3. The process for manufacturing the compound of claim 1, CHARACTERIZED in that it comprises the following steps: incorporating into a stainless steel container with stirring, a portion of natural coconut oil with the lemon peel extract, which are subjected to pressure by means of an extruder, incorporating into the formulation filtered lemon juice without pulp (a portion equal to that used of coconut oil), obtaining a compound with pH 5, which by incorporating triethanolamine is brought to neutral pH 7, where a foaming agent (coconut betaine) is incorporated in 5% in relation to the total of the compound and sodium lauryl ether sulfate (1 part equal to that of the total active ingredient).Once this compound is obtained, it is heated to 125°C for 20 minutes with constant stirring.
