Description

Food grilling

[0001] The present invention relates to a food grill that effectively processes smoke and vapor generated during the process of grilling food, while fundamentally preventing gas from circulating inside the product, thereby minimizing contamination inside the product and enabling hygienic use and management.

[0002] In general, air circulation grills that are designed to suck in smoke generated during the grilling process are designed to suck in smoke or odor and filter it within the body to reduce the burning or smoke generated during the grilling process.

[0003] In addition, an exhaust fan is usually built into the body to circulate air inside the device through air intake and air exhaust ports formed on both sides of the body, and an oil pan containing water is provided inside the body to allow oil contained in the air to be immersed during the air circulation process.

[0004] However, although these air circulation grills can significantly reduce odors and smoke during the grilling process and can be easily used indoors, if the air circulation grill is used continuously, grease or foreign substances may accumulate on the exhaust fan itself or inside the main body, which reduces the air intake ability of the exhaust fan, and although smoke is guided to the air intake, it is not completely inhaled and the smoke may remain there, which limits the smoke removal or deodorization effect.

[0005] Additionally, because of the structure in which air circulates within the product, it is impossible to prevent grease or foreign substances from accumulating inside the product body, which limits the hygienic use and management of the product.

[0006] The present invention has been devised to solve the above-mentioned conventional problems, and the purpose of the present invention is to provide a food roaster that effectively sucks in smoke generated during the roasting process by arranging two or more fans within the main body, and fundamentally prevents the structure in which gas is circulated within the main body of the roaster, and also prevents contamination of the surrounding space by discharging the gas generated during the food roasting process to the surroundings after passing it through a multi-stage filtering process, thereby enabling the product itself to be used and managed hygienically.

[0007] According to one aspect of the present invention, there is provided a grill body having an open upper grill space, an outside air inlet hole provided on one side, an air exhaust hole provided on the other side, and a first ventilation hole and a second ventilation hole formed to face each other with the grill space interposed therebetween; a drawer coupled to the grill body and provided with a water receiving space and an oil receiving space separately defined; a first suction fan installed inside the grill body and sucking outside air through the outside air inlet hole and blowing the outside air toward the grill space through the first ventilation hole toward the second ventilation hole; a second suction fan sucking air blown toward the grill space by the first suction fan into the inside of the grill body through the second ventilation hole and blowing the air toward the water receiving space; And a food roaster is provided, which includes a filter provided in a path between the water receiving space and the air exhaust hole and is provided so as to be replaceable on the grill body, wherein gas including smoke and oil vapor generated in the grill space is condensed by contact with relatively low-temperature air blown by the first exhaust fan and is partially collected in the oil receiving space, whereby foreign substances are primarily filtered out, foreign substances are secondarily filtered out by contact with water received in the water receiving space, and foreign substances are thirdly filtered out by the filter and then discharged to the outside of the grill body.

[0008] The grill body and the drawer may each be provided with a gas flow restriction section so that the gas does not move to the inner central area of the grill body where the oil receiving space is arranged after passing through the water receiving space, but instead moves entirely toward the filter side and is then discharged directly through the air exhaust hole.

[0009] The above gas flow restriction part may include a first round part provided in a round shape at one end of the grill body; and a second round part provided in the drawer in a round shape corresponding to the first round part so as to be in close contact with the drawer when the drawer is fully coupled to the grill body.

[0010] The outer surface of the second round portion is arranged to face the water receiving space, the inner surface of the second round portion is arranged to face the inner central area of the grill body, and the outer surface of the second round portion can be concavely rounded toward the water receiving space.

[0011] A shielding member made of an elastic material may be provided on at least one side of the first round portion and the second round portion facing each other.

[0012] The above grill body may include an exhaust fan cover that is detachably coupled to expose or not expose the second exhaust fan to the outside.

[0013] The above grill body includes an exhaust fan installation frame that provides a space in which the second exhaust fan and a volute that guides the blowing direction of the second exhaust fan are installed, and a plurality of support ribs are provided on the exhaust fan cover to be supported by the exhaust fan installation frame, and a hooking means may be provided on the exhaust fan cover and the exhaust fan installation frame to enable hooking and coupling with each other.

[0014] The above-mentioned hooking means may include a plurality of hooking projections protruding from each of the plurality of support ribs; and a plurality of hooking grooves provided in the suction fan installation frame so that the plurality of hooking projections are hooked correspondingly.

[0015] According to the food grill of the present invention described above, the gas including smoke and oil vapor generated in the grilling space is condensed by contact with the relatively low-temperature air blown by the first exhaust fan, and foreign substances are first filtered out by contact with water contained in the water receiving space, and the foreign substances are secondarily filtered out by contact with water contained in the water receiving space, and the foreign substances are thirdly filtered out by the filter and then discharged to the outside of the grilling body. As the gas is sequentially discharged to the outside in three stages, such that the gas can be used without generating smoke or oil vapor during cooking and can prevent contamination of the surrounding indoor space.

[0016] In addition, by fundamentally preventing smoke and oil vapor from circulating inside the grill body, it minimizes grease and other contaminants inside the product itself, allowing for hygienic management and use.

[0027] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in more detail with reference to the attached drawings. However, the present invention is not limited to the embodiments disclosed below, but may be implemented in various different forms. These embodiments are provided solely to ensure complete disclosure of the present invention and to fully inform those skilled in the art of the scope of the invention. Like reference numerals throughout the drawings denote like elements.

[0028] A food roaster according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention has two or more fans installed inside the product to effectively suck up gas containing smoke and oil vapor generated during the process of roasting food, and at the same time, the sucked air is discharged directly to the outside of the product without circulating inside the product, thereby minimizing the attachment of grease, etc. due to oil vapor inside the product, thereby enabling hygienic management and use of the product.

[0029] That is, the present invention can minimize contamination of indoor spaces where the product is used, for example, by filtering out foreign substances from gas containing smoke and oil vapor generated during the grilling process three times and then discharging the gas to the outside of the product.

[0030] In addition, by completely burning a portion of the air generated during the grilling process and sucked into the product, smoke generation is further reduced, enabling hygienic product management and use, and preventing consumer complaints.

[0031] That is, the present invention effectively sucks smoke generated during the grilling process into the product, while simultaneously eliminating the structure of circulating air into the body by a fan as much as possible, and is equipped to stably purify or completely combust the air, so that the product itself can be used and managed hygienically.

[0032]

[0033] Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to examples.

[0034] As shown in FIGS. 1 to 4, a food roaster according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a roasting body (100), a drawer (200), a heating member (300), a first exhaust fan (400), a second exhaust fan (500), and a filter (600).

[0035] First, the grill body (100) is formed with a grilling space (110) with an open upper portion on the inside, and a grill plate or grill plate (120) is placed on the grilling space so that grilled food can be placed on the grilling space. The grilling space is formed to be concave with a certain depth, and the grill body (100) is formed with first ventilation holes (130) and second ventilation holes (140) in the shape of slits facing each other with the grilling space in between.

[0036] A partition plate (160) is installed in the grill body (100) to divide the inner space of the grill body (100) into upper and lower parts to form a grill space (110) and a lower space (150) that is separated from the grill space (110).

[0037] As shown in FIGS. 1 to 4, a slit-shaped outside air inlet hole (170) is provided on one side of the grill body (100) so that outside air, which is relatively low temperature compared to hot smoke and steam generated in the grill space, can be introduced into the inside of the grill body (100).

[0038] In addition, on the other side of the grill body (100), a slit-shaped air exhaust hole (180) is provided so that air that has been sucked into the grill body (100) from the grill space and then has undergone a number of filtering processes to sufficiently remove foreign substances is discharged to the outside of the grill body, as described later.

[0039] Next, as illustrated in FIGS. 3 and 4, a heating member (300) is installed in the grill body (100) to radiate heat to the grill space (110). The heating member can be integrally coupled to the bottom surface of the grill plate (120) or coupled to the grill body (100) to be mounted on a partition plate (160). The heating member (300) can be formed in a rod shape bent into a certain shape, and heat is generated by power supply.

[0040] Next, as illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 4, the drawer (200) is detachably and slidably attached to the lower portion of the grill body (100). That is, the drawer (200) can be completely detached from the grill body (100) and can be attached to the grill body in a slid manner, which will be described in detail below.

[0041] Meanwhile, although not specifically shown in the drawing, the drawer (200) may be fixed to the grill body (100), and the drawer (200) may be exposed to the outside by separating the grill plate (120) and the partition plate (160) from the grill body (100) upward.

[0042] In an embodiment of the present invention, the drawer (200) is provided with a water receiving space (210) and an oil receiving space (220) that are separately partitioned, and this will be described in detail below.

[0043] In an embodiment of the present invention, a first exhaust fan (400) and a second exhaust fan (500) are installed inside the grill body (100) to supply outside air through the first ventilation hole (130) and the second ventilation hole (140) or to suck in gas (smoke, vapor) generated during the grilling process. The first exhaust fan and the second exhaust fan can be applied as, for example, one or more sirocco fans.

[0044] As illustrated in Fig. 4, the first exhaust fan (400) is installed inside the grill body (100), sucks in low-temperature outside air through the outside air inlet hole (170), and blows it toward the grill space (110) toward the second ventilation hole (140) through the first ventilation hole (130). To elaborate, the first exhaust fan (400) is located on the side of the first ventilation hole (130) and blows outside air introduced through the outside air inlet hole (170) formed on the lower surface of the grill body (100) toward the grill space (110) through the first ventilation hole (130). Here, the outside air inlet hole (170) may be formed on the upper part of the grill body (100) near the first exhaust fan (400) rather than on the lower part of the grill body (100).

[0045] As illustrated in FIGS. 4 and 5, the second exhaust fan (500) sucks the air blown toward the grill space by the first exhaust fan (400) into the grill body (100) through the second ventilation hole (140) and then blows it toward the water receiving space (210) of the drawer (200). In addition, the second exhaust fan (500) is positioned adjacent to the second ventilation hole (140) and blows the gas (smoke, oil vapor) sucked into the grill body through the second ventilation hole toward the water receiving space (210) so that the gas (smoke, oil vapor) is brought into contact with water and oil components, etc. are removed by adsorption to the water. The air that has been filtered of oil or foreign substances above a certain level while passing through the water receiving space (210) is filtered of oil or foreign substances once more through the filter (600) described below and then discharged to the outside of the grill body through the air exhaust hole (180).

[0046] In this way, the present invention effectively sucks in the gas generated during the food grilling process through the first suction fan (400) and the second suction fan (500), and at the same time, the sucked gas is discharged directly to the outside of the grill body (100) through the air exhaust hole (180) without circulating inside the grill body, thereby minimizing the attachment of grease, etc. due to oil vapor to the surface of the internal structure of the grill body (100), thereby enabling hygienic product management and use.

[0047] Next, as illustrated in FIGS. 3 to 5, a filter (600) is provided in a passage between a water receiving space (210) and an air exhaust hole (180), and is provided so as to be replaceable and mountable on the grill body (100). Here, the filter (600) may include at least one of a non-woven filter, a HEPA filter, and an activated carbon filter capable of absorbing foreign substances, oil components in the air, etc., and removing smoke odor.

[0048] As illustrated in FIG. 3, a filter fixing bracket (182) is provided near the air exhaust hole (180) on the lower side of one side of the grill body (100) to form a filter insertion groove for fixing the filter (600), and the user can insert and fix the filter (600) into the filter insertion groove on the inside of the filter fixing bracket (182) after separating the drawer (200) from the grill body (100). In a state where the filter (600) is mounted, the filter (600) covers the entire air exhaust hole (180) formed of a plurality of slots from the upper side, and accordingly, the gas passing through the water receiving space (210) is finally discharged after additional foreign substances, grease, etc. are filtered by the filter (600).

[0049] That is, the present invention sequentially proceeds with the process of low-temperature outside air intake -> air blown by the first exhaust fan -> air blown by the first exhaust fan is sucked in by the second exhaust fan -> the sucked air is not circulated inside the grill body but is directly discharged to the outside, and while this process is in progress, air does not circulate inside the grill body (100).

[0050] When the outside air is supplied to the grilling space (110) by the first exhaust fan (400), the high-temperature oil vapor generated from the grilling plate (120) heated during the grilling process can be condensed by the relatively low-temperature outside air, thereby reducing smoke generation and primarily removing oily components in the air. In addition, the gas including smoke and oil vapor generated in the grilling space is condensed by contact with the relatively low-temperature air blown by the first exhaust fan (400) and is partially collected in the oil receiving space (220) of the drawer (200), thereby primarily filtering out foreign substances (including oily components in the air).

[0051] In an embodiment of the present invention, a filtering means is provided in the grill body (100) to filter out oil, odor, soot, etc. contained in the gas sucked in by the operation of the second suction fan (500).

[0052] Here, the filtering means may include water received in the water receiving space (210) of the drawer (200) and the filter (600) described above.

[0053] The above water functions as a type of water filter that can precipitate oil, etc. contained in the vapor, and when the gas comes into contact with the water, the oil, etc. can precipitate to the bottom of the water receiving space (210).

[0054] That is, oil, foreign substances, etc. contained in the gas passing through the second exhaust fan (500) may precipitate when they come into contact with the water contained in the water receiving space (210), and the gas from which oil and foreign substances have been removed in this way is further filtered of foreign substances and deodorized by the filter (600) and then discharged to the outside through the air exhaust hole (180), thereby further preventing the indoor space where the product of the present invention is used from being polluted.

[0055] According to the multi-fan structure by the first suction fan (400) and the second suction fan (500), and the water and filter (600) accommodated in the water accommodation space (210) provided as the filtering means, smoke generated during the grilling process is sucked in to filter out oil and odor, etc., and by excluding the structure in which smoke circulates throughout the interior of the grill body (100), grease stains on the interior walls or structures of the grill body (100) are minimized, thereby providing convenience in hygienic management of the product.

[0056] As shown in FIGS. 3 to 5, an air path (240) is provided in the drawer (200) so that air passing through the water receiving space (210) moves toward the filter (600) and air exhaust hole (180).

[0057] In an embodiment of the present invention, the gas including smoke and oil vapor generated in the grilling space (110) is condensed by contact with the relatively low-temperature air blown by the first exhaust fan (400) and partially collected in the oil receiving space (220), whereby foreign substances are primarily filtered out, foreign substances are secondarily filtered out by contact with water contained in the water receiving space (210), and foreign substances are thirdly filtered out by the filter (600) and then discharged to the outside of the grilling body (100). That is, the present invention can be used without generating smoke or oil vapor during cooking and can prevent contamination of the surrounding indoor space by sequentially removing oil, foreign substances, and odors in three stages and then discharged to the outside.

[0058] In an embodiment of the present invention, a drawer (200) is detachably and slidably connected to a grill body (100), and a water receiving space (210) is formed on one side thereof, and an oil receiving space (220) separate from the water receiving space (210) is formed integrally on the other side thereof so that oil generated during the cooking process can fall. Accordingly, when a user separates the drawer (200) from the grill body, a drawer having both a water receiving space (210) and an oil receiving space (220) is separated from the grill body. An oil discharge hole (184) is provided in the center of the grill plate (120) and the partition plate (160), and oil passing through the oil discharge hole (184) falls into the oil receiving space (220) of the drawer (200) and is collected.

[0059] The present invention allows the gas sucked into the grill body (100) through the second exhaust fan (500) to pass through the water receiving space (210) and the filter (600) and then directly discharged to the outside of the grill body (100) through the air exhaust hole (180) without circulating throughout the entire inside of the grill body, thereby minimizing the attachment of grease, etc. due to oil vapor to the surface of the internal structure of the grill body (100).

[0060] To elaborate, as illustrated in FIG. 5, the gas flow path until the gas passing through the second exhaust fan (500) is discharged to the air exhaust hole (180) is shielded by the internal structures of the drawer (200) and the grill body (100), so that the gas does not circulate inside the grill body (100) but is discharged directly to the air exhaust hole (180). That is, the air introduced into the air passage (240) of the drawer (200) is discharged directly to the air exhaust hole (180) without being introduced to the lower space (150) under the partition plate (160). Accordingly, it is possible to fundamentally prevent sanitary problems caused by oil, foreign substances, etc. attaching to the surface of the internal structure located in the lower space (150) of the grill body (100).

[0061] To this end, as illustrated in FIG. 5, a gas flow restriction section (700) is provided in each of the grill body (100) and the drawer (200) so that the gas does not move to the central area inside the grill body (100) where the oil receiving space (220) is arranged after passing through the water receiving space (210), but moves all toward the filter (600) and is then discharged directly through the air exhaust hole (180).

[0062] In an embodiment of the present invention, as illustrated in FIG. 5, the gas flow restriction portion (700) includes a first round portion (710) provided in a round shape at one end of the grill body (100), and a second round portion (720) provided in the drawer (200) in a round shape so as to be in close contact with the first round portion (710) when the drawer (200) is fully coupled to the grill body (100).

[0063] Here, the first round part (710) and the second round part (720) can each have a cross-sectional shape of an approximately circular arc, and by being joined together in a state of maximum close contact with each other, the gas can be prevented from flowing into the internal central region of the grill body as described above.

[0064] In addition, as shown in FIG. 5, the outer surface (721) of the second round portion (720) is arranged to face the water receiving space (210), and the inner surface (722) of the second round portion (720) is arranged to face the inner central area of the grill body (100). It is preferable that the outer surface (721) of the second round portion (720) be concavely rounded toward the water receiving space (210).

[0065] Accordingly, when the gas blown toward the water receiving space (210) by the driving of the second suction fan (500) comes into contact with the water contained in the water receiving space (210) and flows upwards by a certain amount of force, the gas can flow smoothly along the concave rounded surface when entering the air passage (240).

[0066] That is, in the process of gas passing through the water receiving space (210) entering the air passage (240), it is possible to prevent eddies from occurring inside the drawer (200) and induce smooth flow of gas, ultimately enabling rapid exhaust.

[0067] The present invention proposes an additional structure that can more stably prevent gas passing through the water receiving space (210) from flowing toward the inner central region of the grill body, i.e., the lower space (150) of the grill body (100).

[0068] Specifically, as illustrated in FIG. 6, a shielding member (730) made of an elastic material is provided on at least one side of the first round portion (710) and the second round portion (720) facing each other.

[0069] The shielding member (730) prevents a gap from forming between the first round part (710) and the second round part (720) by keeping them in elastic contact with each other, and may be made of, for example, rubber, silicone, etc.

[0070] As shown in FIGS. 1 to 4 and 7, in an embodiment of the present invention, the grill body (100) includes an exhaust fan cover (800) that is detachably coupled to expose or not expose the second exhaust fan (500) to the outside.

[0071] The user can detach the exhaust fan cover (800) to expose the second exhaust fan (500) to the outside, and then proceed with cleaning the oil and foreign substances attached to the blade surface of the second exhaust fan and the inner surface of the exhaust fan cover (800).

[0072] In an embodiment of the present invention, as shown in FIGS. 5 and 7, the grill body (100) includes an exhaust fan installation frame (190) that provides a space in which a second exhaust fan (500) and a volute that guides the blowing direction of the second exhaust fan (500) are installed.

[0073] In addition, the exhaust fan cover (800) is provided with a plurality of support ribs (810) to be supported by the exhaust fan installation frame (190), and the exhaust fan cover (800) and the exhaust fan installation frame (190) are provided with a hooking means (820) to enable hooking and connecting with each other.

[0074] Here, as illustrated in FIGS. 5, 7, and 8, the engaging means (820) includes a plurality of engaging projections (821) that protrude from each of the plurality of support ribs (810), and a plurality of engaging grooves (823) provided in the exhaust fan installation frame (190) so that the plurality of engaging projections (821) are engaged correspondingly. A user can detach the exhaust fan cover (800) by lifting the exhaust fan cover (800) with his / her hand to detach the engaging projections from the engaging grooves, and conversely, as the engaging projections are inserted into the engaging grooves, the exhaust fan cover (800) can be stably maintained in a hooked and fixed state.

[0075] Meanwhile, if the user continues to operate the exhaust fan while removing the exhaust fan cover (800), the risk of a safety accident may increase due to various factors such as oil in the grilling space (110) being scattered in all directions or exposure to the rotating exhaust fan.

[0076] To compensate for this, as shown in Fig. 9, a push projection (840) is provided on the exhaust fan cover (800), and a limit switch (860) is provided on the inside of the grill body (100) to selectively allow or block current application depending on whether or not it is contacted and pressurized by the push projection (840).

[0077] In an embodiment of the present invention, the operation of the first exhaust fan (400) and the second exhaust fan (500) is performed through control signal transmission of a main controller (not shown), and the main controller receives a contact or short-circuit signal of a limit switch (860) and controls the operation of the first exhaust fan and the second exhaust fan based on this.

[0078] Specifically, when the exhaust fan cover (800) is combined and the push protrusion (840) presses the tension bar of the limit switch (860) to be converted into a contact state, the main controller can control the operation of the first exhaust fan and the second exhaust fan or the exhaust fan to be in a standby state for operation according to the user's button operation.

[0079] In contrast, if the user detaches the exhaust fan cover (800) while the exhaust fans are operating, the main controller controls the operation of the first and second exhaust fans to stop, and if the user detaches the exhaust fan cover (800) while the exhaust fans are stopped, the main controller controls the operation of the first and second exhaust fans to stop even if the user attempts to operate the exhaust fans by operating the button.

[0080] Above, the filter (600) is described and illustrated based on the case where it is installed at the rear of the water receiving space (210) in the gas flow path, but it is not limited thereto, and the installation location of the filter can be changed in various ways as follows.

[0081] For example, as illustrated in FIG. 10, a filter (600) may be provided in front of the second exhaust fan (500) based on the gas flow path.

[0082] In this way, when the filter (600) is installed in front of the second exhaust fan (500), oil, etc. in the oil vapor generated in the grilling space (110) is primarily filtered by the filter and then moves to the second exhaust fan, so that not only can contamination of the second exhaust fan (500) be minimized, thereby minimizing a decrease in the durability of the fan, but also precipitation of oil, foreign substances, etc. in the water received in the water receiving space (210) can be further reduced.

[0083] As another example, as illustrated in FIG. 11, a filter (600) may be provided between the second exhaust fan (500) and the water receiving space (210) based on the gas flow path.

[0084] In this case, the occurrence of contamination in the water receiving space (210) of the drawer (200) can be further reduced by further reducing the precipitation of oil, foreign substances, etc. in the water received in the water receiving space (210).

[0085] In this way, even if the installation location of the filter (600) is changed, the present invention is characterized in that the gas containing smoke and oil vapor generated in the grilling space (110) is condensed by contact with the relatively low-temperature air blown by the first exhaust fan (400) and partially collected in the oil receiving space (220), whereby foreign substances are primarily filtered out, foreign substances are secondarily filtered out by contact with water contained in the water receiving space (210), and foreign substances are thirdly filtered out by the filter (600) and then discharged to the outside of the grilling body (100), thereby removing oil, foreign substances, and odors in three stages, so that the grilling unit can be used without generating smoke or oil vapor during cooking and can prevent contamination of the surrounding indoor space.

[0086] While the present invention has been illustrated and described with reference to preferred embodiments intended to illustrate the principles of the invention, it is not intended to be limited to the exact configuration and operation described herein. Rather, those skilled in the art will readily appreciate that numerous modifications and variations are possible without departing from the spirit and scope of the appended claims.

[0087] The present invention has industrial applicability in that it effectively sucks in smoke generated during the grilling process by arranging two or more fans within the main body and fundamentally prevents gas from circulating within the grill body, and also prevents contamination of the surrounding space and enables the product itself to be used and managed hygienically by discharging the gas generated during the food grilling process to the surroundings after passing through a multi-stage filtering process.
